Chapter 97: Island takeover
On their way to the party, Hammerman gets a flashback of himself becoming a villain after being discriminated because of his hammer shaped head and black skin before meeting Miness, who was bullied and mistreated by everyone because of her lisp. They then fell in love and ran to hide in an abandoned warehouse after they use their quirks to attack people in their homeland as payback for their mistreatment. They then went out for a walk together until they meet Gangster, who rebel against his parents because of their rules, causing Hammerman and Miness to take him in before deciding on working together to take down the hero society. Soon, after calling themselves the League of Villains and a few successful operations, the villains befriended Snake Toga, who happens to be Himiko's older sister before taking her in and give her the nickname Psycho. Soon, the league befriended Mortimer who was looking for a legendary gem to be king of M-Island and decided to help him look for it as they go on a journey montage. After getting the gem, the League of Villains learn about Mortimer's dream and past misfortune because no one likes him, causing the league to decide on leaving their homeland that treats them poorly to go M-Island with Mortimer as they took him in. after the flashback ends, the league reached South Park Caves, where the U.A. League were admiring the diamonds until the villains confronted them. Hammerman then told the league that All for one wants the League of Villains to steal one for all, causing All Might to punch the villains out of the caves. Mortimer then told his comrades that he has an idea as they ran back to their hideout in Gamble Harbor.
On their way back, Mortimer recall a flashback of him and his comrades reaching M-Island, where they were greeted warmly by the islanders until the mayor recognized the gem that Mortimer is holding and made everyone rejoice because Mortimer has found their missing gem. After Mortimer told his comrades that he read about the gem and how it was missing for years, the mayor and his grandkids Gulliver and Lincoln thanked the villains and ask if there's any way to repay them, causing Mortimer to tell the islanders about his dream and past misfortune, causing the islanders to feel sorry for him. However, the mayor told him that only a descendant of Mario Midoriya can become king of the island, causing Mortimer to get furious and activates the gem's power. Psycho then grabbed the mayor's cane and a lady's necklace to creates a scepter to put the gem in, which caused the islanders to run away screaming as the villains went on a killing spree, which includes killing the mayor. Soon, the villains set off to lives in a hideout in Gamble Harbor until this day when Mortimer believes that Izuku will threaten his chance of becoming king. after the flashback ended, Mortimer revealed a crack on the ground near the hideout as he told them that the crack is where dynamaxing light is located and they're going to use it to destroy the island with help from a dragon if he doesn't get what he wants. Mortimer then use the scepter to summon a dragon named Eternatus, who then let the villains on his back.
Meanwhile, the U.A. League told the Yagi family and Peanut Gallery that the League of Villains were sent by All for one, causing them to get frustrated until Celia calms everyone down and ask what's the worst that can happen. Suddenly the sky turned purple as the League of Villains laugh evilly before telling Eternatus to destroy everything. Eternatus then use dynamax cannon to destroy homes and turn some people into giants. Gulliver and Lincoln then ran to the party and say they warned them that the League of Villains will be back to make them pay. All Might then takes a deep breath before telling Gulliver that the villains were sent by All for one to steal All for one. Gulliver then became shocked and told All Might to save their island before he and his brother gets turned into stone by Mortimer as he and his comrades laugh evilly. Mr. Yuga then told Celia to keep an eye on the kids as he and his team set off to fight the League of villains, but they were all tuned to stone, causing Celia to get furious and use a sword and shield to fight Eternatus and the League of Villains. Soon, after Celia managed to put up a fight against the villains, she was then turned into stone much to the kids' horror. Izu then tries to avenge his half mother and the U.A. League until Itsuka grabbed him and told everyone to head back to the castle, causing everyone to listen as the League of Villains laugh victoriously as they look at Celia and the U.A. League with satisfaction.
