Anyways, with all of that out of the way, I hope you enjoy reading this story. Now, without further ado, let's take flight.
oOo
I just stared in confusion and disbelief at the black cat and the two strangers in front of me. Who are they? How did they get here? I then yelped when the cat started to talk... Not in a series of meows, but in human speech.
I stared at the two people and the cat in shock and surprise. The only words that I could manage to say were, "What the heck!" I cried out. But what really shocked me was when the cat... Wait, THE CAT CAN TALK? I thought in confusion and trepidation.
"Three Moons! Oh great. Again? Where am I this time?" The cat spoke in an exasperated tone of voice, with a hint of sarcasm. I just blinked and gave a squeak of surprise.
"You... You... You can talk?!" I managed to stutter out, once I had regained my ability to speak. The cat just rolled his eyes and responded with a sarcastic remark.
"Yeah, no kidding, of course I can talk!" He said, and I giggled quietly to myself.
"Your cute!" I said, bending down to pet the black cat. Said cat hissed and replied with a huff.
"Please, don't call me cute!" The cat said, glaring as best as it could manage. I nodded, stood up and walked down a nearby street. I then paused and noticed that the three strangers weren't behind me. I sighed and motioned for them to follow. The cat jumped into the girl's arms causing her to smile brightly.
"Um... If I may ask. Who are you three? My name's Hina!" I said, introducing myself while tilting my head to the side in confusion.
"My name's Itachi, and this is my younger sister, Keena. The black cat is Binx, well, his full name's Thakery Binx, but we just call him Binx." The older of the two answered, and the younger girl smiled warmly at me.
"It's very nice to meet you, Hina-Chan!" Keena replied, with a bow and a nod of her head. I nodded and bowed respectfully in return. These two kids were apparently from Japan witch is a relief, they know how to speak Japanese and english.
"Let's go back to my home, you'll meet my brother, Nagi. He's really sweet!" I exclaimed, and we all made our way to my house that me and my brother lived.
And with that we started the treck bacl to My house, I wondered on the way how a cat could possibly talk? I mean... That doesn't seam possible. I sighed and shook my head and returned to the present.
"I have a question to ask. How did Binx get his name? Who names their cat Binx?!" I asked, and this tome, Binx was the one to answer.
"I was a human before this, I was cursed by the three Sanderson sisters. I'm an immortal cat, forced to live with the guilt of not being able to save my little sister. What else can I do? In the beginning, I tried to kill myself, by jumping off of a cliff, but that cursed spell kept me alive. As much as I wanted to die, to join my family on the other side, I couldn't. I'm a cat with a human soul and the ability to talk. My own father didn't even recognize me, do you know what people in Salem think of black cats? They think that they're bad omens. At least that's what they thought a long time ago." As Binx continued speaking, his voice got mor sad and quiet.
"Three Moons! That's awful! Why were you turnrd into a cat in the first place?" I asked and Binx's expression seemed to grow even sadder, if that was even possible.
"Because I tried to save my sister Emily from the three Sanderson sisters. I failed at that and she had the life sucked out of her, it was my fault and I was forced to live with my guilt as an immortal cat with a human soul." I could only stare in horror at what I had just heard. I sighed sadly and pulled at my braided pigtails.
"But if the witches are gone, doesn't that mean you should have changed back into a human?" I asked, and Binx shook his head and flicked his ears back and forth.
"No, sadly It hasn't broken. I don't understand that stupid spell very much, although. I've gotten used to being a cat. I don't think the spell will ever be broken." Binx said quietly, as he looked up at Keena, who was now brushing her fingers through the cats matted fur.
