Retelling of My Hero Academia. I really hate the series. So I'm retelling it into how I want it to be. Instead of the optimistic preteen, we have a depressed teenager with issues. lots of issues. please stick around. Some characters might not b in the story but I won't add new characters. Sticking with the story but with a different plot.

This story will depict two exchange students studying at U.A. High, one from The City of Angels and the other from The Big Smoke. Young Midoriya was born with the quirk slime, growing up a slime, he must now learn what it means to be a hero and carry on the legacy of the number one hero. Basically, Izuku has the abilities of Rimuru from That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime, so expect an op main character and for me to take liberties, please read and enjoy.

Follow Izuku as he gains a group of friends after meeting Tooru and learns that one does not need to see someone to see the beauty in them. This story is a very slow-burn romance slice of life story that focuses primarily on character interactions between canon. Chapter 44 is beyond season 5 of the anime.

Bereavement - noun: The action or condition of being deprived of a close relation or friend through their death. Midoriya Izuku has a quirk. He has kept it a secret since he manifested it, though. Because his quirk is horrible. It's monstrous. It's . . . bereavement. Basically an AU where Izuku has a quirk, and we all get to watch how it changes the course of the story.

Quirks; Superpowers bestowed upon 80% of the population that defy logic, reason, and even reality. What happens when there are those with Quirks that can be described as 'God-like'.
