Welcome to the first chapter of the rewritten Red Little Deviled Angel. It was brought to my attention that Kiriko's initial age was a little too young to do all the things she did so I increased her age. The story is gonna be somewhat the same but each chapter will be a little longer and Kiriko will be older when the anime plot starts. I could have deleted the story but then it would lose the many people that liked the original so all I did was delete all the chapters and replace the first chapter. I will finish this one now that Kiriko is more manageable.
DISCLAIMER: READ DAMN CAREFULLY BECAUSE I'M ONLY WRITING IT ONCE, I DON'T OWN THE ANIME ASSASSINATION CLASSROOM AT ALL. I OWN THE OC, ANY EXTRA CHARACTERS I DECIDE TO ADD FOR THE PURPOSE OF ADVANCING THE PLOT, AND ANY SMALL PLOT DEVIATIONS.
This whole story will be edited by my good friend UnicornPhoenix.
Enjoy!
I was Reborn?!
"The train sure is taking its sweet time."
I'm currently sitting on the stopped train cart. The train has been stopped for the last 10 minutes.
"I guess I have an excuse now for when I get to class late."
I think getting that early morning class was not a good idea. Getting up at five in the morning every day is not fun!
"Hopefully that woman doesn't give homework for the weekend, I wanna finish re-watching Assassination Classroom."
Suddenly I hear screaming in the carts behind mine. I quickly turn around to see the reason for the commotion and I see the cart and people being engulfed in flames. My eyes widen.
"Shit."
I run to the other end of the train in hopes of avoiding the flames, but I know in the back of my head I will die today.
"I see," I see the flames getting closer, "This is how I'm gonna go, I should have pulled that all-nighter to finish the anime," I lament feeling the heat of the flames.
I collapse on the floor and start coughing due to the smoke, "Screw whoever…decided it was a good idea…to set the train on fire!"
My eyes start closing, the last thing I see is my burning bag that held all my Karma Akabane related items.
"I'll…miss…you…Karma…" My vision goes black.
I wake up startled and notice the blurry man holding me.
"Why is everything so freaking big and who is this man holding me?!"
"Shshshsh its ok It was just a nightmare," cooed the mysterious man, "Daddy is here."
"What do you mean daddy?!"
I try to move my hands, but I'm constricted by what I assume is a blanket.
"What the hell is going on?!"
The sudden urge to cry hits me and the tears just start rolling down my cheeks without a warning.
"I can't move!"
The man starts to panic.
"Hey, it's ok, everything is fine," the man holding me starts bouncing me gently "Karma help me! She won't stop crying!"
"Karma?"
The tears won't stop.
"You wanted a second child, now take care of it," said the person named Karma scoffs.
"Sounds like a little boy…hold up what do you mean child?!"
"Come on please," the man begs.
I hear the boy sigh and his steps get closer. The first thing I notice is the air of superiority the boy has, then the vibrant red hair and his golden eyes staring at me. I sniff.
"Hold her while I go check on your mother," The man hands me to the boy.
"Hey what- "The boy tries to refuse, "and he's gone."
I look up at the blurry boy.
"He's warm."
He sighs and looks back at me, "So now you're quiet."
"If this kid is right then that means I'm a baby again…dammit!"
"What?" He asks.
I blink.
"Who are you to me?"
He seems to look around then back at me, "I'm Karma, your older brother." He whispers as he wipes away any stray tears left on my face.
"I've never had an older brother, much less one named Karma."
I hear a set of light footsteps come closer.
"Have your parents decide what to name the little one?" a kind feminine voice says.
"Yes, her name is Kiriko, Kiriko Akabane," I hear a hint of mischief in his voice.
It takes a hot second for me to realize what the kid just said.
"A…Akabane?!"
"Understood, that's a beautiful name," the voice says, and I can hear the smile in her voice.
"No way!"
I hear the footsteps get farther away.
He looks back down at me, "You're welcome, you were going to be named Cleo after that ruler in Egypt."
"Seriously? After Cleopatra?"
The man who claims to be my dad comes back going by the footsteps.
"Have I always been able to know that, or did I just get that?"
"Come Karma, let's go see mom," he says.
He goes to hold me again, but I feel Karma moving away.
"No!" Karma holds me a bit tighter.
"Alright," the man sighs yet smiles.
"Karma is my brother now…damn what are the odds?"
The room got darker and quieter. I'm moved to someone else's arms.
"Hey little one," a woman coos quietly.
I look up at the woman.
"Is this my mom?"
"I heard your brother named you," she says as she caresses my hair, "That was very sweet of him."
"You make it sound as if he has never been sweet."
"I hope you two get along in the future," she continues.
"Lady I hope so too."
It's been a year since I have been born and so far, I can see better, crawl, and somewhat stand with the help of walls. The moment I was able to crawl I started following Karma, watching him, learning everything I possibly could from him. He ignores me most of the time unless I enter his room with him to which he picks me up and places me back outside then closes his door, but I feel like today will be the day that he will notice me!
To do such a thing, I'll need to do something worthy of his attention. With little to no regard for the consequences, I shall try to prank my dear mother. How you ask? Well, I noticed she left her teacup on the counter a minute ago and went to what I believe is the laundry room, therefore it's the perfect time to add some salt to her tea.
"Provided I know where the hell they put the salt, where is it?!"
I go to look through the lower cabinets in hope of finding some salt. Opening these cabinets with these chubby nubs called hands is a challenge but with a lot of difficulty I did it. As I open the last cabinet, I hear footsteps behind me making me freeze up.
"I barely started!"
"What are you doing?" a wild nine-year-old Karma appears!
"Bloody hell!"
I look up at him. I could try to explain myself, but I don't know how to talk yet…oh…wait…I point my chubby finger towards the tea that was left on the counter then point at the salt container that I managed to find in the last cabinet.
"You want to add salt to mom's tea?" Karma asked curiously.
I nod slowly unsure of what he would think of such a basic idea compared to the elaborate pranks he has done before. A smirk spreads across his face. Suddenly he picks me up along with the salt container and a spoon.
"What?! Is he gonna help me?!"
Karma places me on the counter for better access to the tea and opens the salt container for me.
"Alright, now just grab a handful and just add it slowly to the tea," he instructs, watching me closely.
I carefully grab a handful as he instructed and slowly add the salt into the tea. I look at him grinning. I see a devilish smile forming on his face and his eyes just light up in amusement.
"Good girl, now, stir it, do you know how to stir?" he asks as he hands me the spoon that he grabbed before.
I look at the spoon and manage to hold it as if I were to hold a whisk.
"Damn chubby nubs!"
While stirring I could feel his gaze on me, watching me.
"Good!" he praises proudly while picking up the now-closed container and the spoon.
Karma puts the salt container away and washes the spoon to clear away the evidence, afterwards he picks me up and takes me to his room.
"I'll teach you how to pull pranks properly once you start walking," he smirks, "You have the potential to be my partner in crime."
"Yes! Senpai noticed me!"
"KARMA!" we hear mom yell from the kitchen.
"Oh, it seems she found out," Karma laughs, "Just this once I'll take the blame for you."
I let out a delighted giggle while clapping my chubby hands excitedly. He looks at me proudly and ruffles my already messy hair.
"This shall be the beginnings of a beautiful friendship!"
Don't be afraid to leave a review I don't bite unless ya are into that ;)
