Disclaimer: I don't own Smallville or The Boys.
An idea that occurred to me while watching clips of The Boys and wondered what would happen if Homelander and Stormfront met someone who is more powerful than both and easily capable of challenging their sadism and Homelander's status as "the most powerful being on the planet".
This one-shot is not in any way connected to my "Alternate Events" series.
Takes place during The Boys 2x06 right after Homelander and Stormfront confronted a robber in an alley.
In an alleyway, Homelander and Stormfront were making out next to the dead body of a bank robber whose head the former had crushed into a bloody, splattered mess. Blood was smeared on their mouths as the two so-called 'superheroes' moaned with pleasure and kissed passionately while humping each other, their pants down.
As a loud sonic boom suddenly got their attention, the two stopped what they were doing and turned to the source of the noise. A feet few from them was a tall, well-built, handsome man with dark hair and steely blue eyes clad in a mostly black suit with a long gray cape flowing behind his back and a pair of gray boots, complete with a gray diamond-shaped emblem centered by a black 'U' symbol resting on his chest.
"Please, don't stop what you're doing on my account," the newcomer said with a smirk, his arms folded against his chest as he hovered several feet above the ground.
Quickly pulling their pants up, Homelander stalked towards the man with a fierce glare, with Stormfront beside him.
"Who the fuck are you?!" Homelander demanded angrily, eyes glowing bright red as he levitated and hovered face-to-face with the newcomer.
"You can call me Ultraman," the newcomer introduced himself, completely unfazed by the other man's reaction. "Or Clark Luthor is fine. Ever since I arrived in this universe some time ago, I've been discreetly keeping watch on you two and the rest of your band of super-powered men and, I have to say, I'm not impressed. You pretend to be this world's greatest heroes, but you're nothing more than a bunch of sadistic thugs in Halloween hiding behind facades. It makes you even more despicable than my country, goody-two-shoes doppelganger Clark Kent, who tried to get me the change my ways but failed. At least Kent is true to who he is and not a pretender like you."
"I am the most powerful being on this planet!" Homelander boasted like a child bragging about having the best toy. "That's the only thing that matters! Whoever you are, you should've stayed away from us!"
Clark Luthor chuckled in amusement. "Most powerful being, huh? You clearly haven't met a Kryptonian before. Come on. Attack me with everything you've got. Both of you."
As Clark Luthor flew up into the air, Homelander and Stormfront flew after him. Homelander unleashed his heat vision, while Stormfront unleashed a huge blast of purple lightning from her hands. The attacks struck Clark Luthor in the chest, but the Kryptonian was completely unaffected. Homelander and Stormfront intensified their powers, but Clark Luthor still stood his ground.
After a few seconds, the mixture of heat vision and lightning resulted in an explosion that enveloped the Kryptonian.
Homelander and Stormfront exchanged glances, smirking at their apparent victory. However, a moment later, their expressions morph into disappointment as the smoke cleared, revealing Clark Luthor hovering in the same spot, completely unscathed.
Before either of his opponents could react, Clark Luthor shot towards Stormfront at tremendous speed, punching the Nazi so hard that his fist went clean through the center of her chest. As Stormfront gasped in pain with blood spilling from her mouth, Clark Luthor retracted his fist and immediately followed up by punching Stormfront's head, instantly reducing it to a bloody, splattered mess. He then used his bare hand to chop Stormfront's body in half at her waist.
"NOOOOOOOOOO!" Homelander roared furiously, unleashing his heat vision at full blast.
Clark Luthor weaved out of the way as he avoided the beam rather easily. In a fit of rage, Homelander flew towards the Kryptonian at full speed with multiple punches. From Clark Luthor's perspective, it looked as though the other man was moving almost in slow motion. Therefore, avoiding Homelander's blows didn't require even the slightest amount of effort on the Kryptonian's part.
"Pitiful," Clark Luthor sneered. "If that's the best you can throw at me, you're only going to embarrass yourself."
"SHUT THE FUCK UP!" Homelander fumed madly, unleashing his heat vision again. "SHUT THE FUCK UP, GODDAMMIT!"
Clark Luthor also unleashed his heat vision and the two beams clashed between them. Within a few seconds, Clark Luthor's beam pushed back Homelander's and the latter was knocked a dozen feet back.
Homelander steadied himself, only to find a smirking Clark Luthor suddenly right in front of him. As Clark Luthor folded his arms against his chest, Homelander snarled and hurled a punch. Homelander's fist smashed as hard as if could into Clark Luthor's face, but the Kryptonian's head didn't even budge as the blow barely caused him any pain. Homelander punched Clark Luthor in the face again, only for the same thing to happen.
"My turn," Clark Luthor stated, before punching Homelander square in the chest with such strength that he was sent hurtling many feet through the air.
Clark Luthor flew after Homelander, grabbed the latter by the cape, spun him around multiple times, and flung him straight up into the air. As Homelander hurtled out of Earth's atmosphere and into outer space, Clark Luthor suddenly appeared above him, joined his fists, and slammed them very hard on Homelander's chest.
Homelander plummeted back down into the Earth and continued falling rapidly towards the ground. Before Homelander could even think about steadying himself, he received a hard punch to the head from Clark Luthor, sending him crashing to the ground in the middle of a street that became heavily damaged on impact as a crater was formed.
Clark Luthor descended in front of Homelander, who was heavily dazed.
"Give up?" the Kryptonian asked.
"Never!" Homelander declared, glaring daggers at his opponents as his eyes glowed once again. "Not until... I kill you!"
He unleashed his heat vision again, but this time, Clark Luthor allowed the beam to hit him square in the chest as it couldn't hurt him at all. As Clark Luthor stood his ground against concentrated beam, Homelander was about to get back up, but Clark Luthor stamped his chest hard, shattering many bones in Homelander's torso as the faux-superhero howled in pain. Smirking sadistically, Clark Luthor glared directly into Homelander's eyes and unleashed his heat vision into them, not stopping until Homelander's eyeballs were blackened as he was rendered blind.
Clark Luthor stamped Homelander's arms and legs one by one, shattering nearly all the bones in the latter's limbs as Homelander cried in agony each time. He then picked Homelander up, held the latter over his head, brought him back down, and slammed Homelander's back against his knee as hard as he could, shattering his spine as he cried out louder from the pain. Finally, Clark Luthor grabbed Homelander by the neck and snapped it, ending the life of the so-called 'superhero' and 'most powerful individual'.
Picking up Homelander's dead body, Clark Luthor took off into the sky and flew into deep space to get rid of it.
Afterwards, the Kryptonian would ruthlessly show the people of this universe what true power looked like. Since kryptonite and red solar radiation were non-existent, unlike where he had come from, Ultraman would truly be unstoppable. This world had no idea what was about to hit it.
We can all agree that Homelander and Stormfront both got what they deserved. Even if death may be too easy of a punishment for the two, the just desserts they received at the hands of the ruthless and sadistic Clark Luthor were satisfying nonetheless.
Homelander may be incredibly powerful in the context of The Boys, but if confronted by someone as powerful as Superman (let alone Smallville's power level), he would be way out of his league. Or if Homelander was somehow transported to the worlds of Marvel or DC, there would be nothing special about him whatsoever.
