Just a little bit of fun on the side.
Echo Hunter
A Little Early
So far, Sesshoumaru had not commented on her teaching methods or topics, as random as they were, all week long.
Rin was nine and much to Kagome's surprise, questions about procreation came up, a little too early perhaps. They had spent the night on the outskirts of a village and when Rin saw a toddler waddling to it's mother, the innocent question popped out.
"How are babies made?"
Kagome bit her lip as she thought of a suitable answer. Sesshoumaru was curious how she was going to answer. "Very carefully, Rin." And then with a pleased grin, "very carefully."
Miroku chose that moment to speak up, lecher that he was, "That's strange, Kagome. I don't remember it being such a careful undertaking."
Sesshoumaru made a sound in his throat. Sango whacked the lecher over the head with her boomerang. Inuyasha muttered a low curse.
"I'll tell you when you're a bit older, Rin. Did you know that plants breathe?" She thought it was a nice way to distract the girl.
She had handled it well, so why was Sesshoumaru looking so…grumpy?
He stopped and looked down at her. "It is time for your lessons, miko."
Kagome, stared wide-eyed and gulped.
