Salut! This is based off a random prompt I found on the internet. Hope you enjoy, and please remember to review!

She was tucking the baby in when she saw his face at the window. She started, surprised despite the circumstances, but quickly realized his eyes weren't on her, they were on the baby. She let him stare, pretending she hadn't seen him, and continued her nighttime routine, humming softly as she straightened up the room, letting her baby boy relax a bit before she left. She put the tiny clothes in the hamper and the shoes back on the shelf in the closet by the crib, moving swiftly but calmly, almost managing to ignore the presence right outside the glass. But not quite.

She dimmed the lights one by one, watching as the blue on the walls faded into the background as the room turned to shades of gray. Her son shifted slightly in his bed, and sighed contentedly. She paused at the door, halfway through it, one hand on the frame as she looked first at her son, and then to her lover, still frozen by the window. She slowly turned off the last light, regretting the sudden end she knew would come to the man's ability to see them. Even now, she hated denying him anything.

She stepped down the hall and into her – their – bedroom, pulling her wild blonde curls into a low ponytail at the back of her neck, waiting to hear the slight whirr of his screwdriver and the click of the door that would follow. She slipped her pretty green blouse off her body, and her jeans soon followed. She tensed slightly when she felt warm lips pressed against her throat, but only for a second, choosing instead to relax into the touch she craved so much yet received so sporadically.

Whimpering slightly, she turned into him, and met his lips with a passion she had forgotten she possessed. It had been too long since she had last seen him. It always was. He broke away when they needed to breathe, ghosting his lips over her cheek, moving down her jaw.

"I've missed you."

"As I've missed you, my love. You took too long this time."

"You always say that."

"It's always true."

River felt his smile against her collarbone, and melted even further into his touch.

"Welcome home."

Well? Please let me know what you think. I might be persuaded to make something more out of this... :) Please review!
