Brother's Keeper
AN: Okay starts right after Zira leaves the log pile to attack Simba.
Nuka's eyes slowly opened, he could breath and pain shot threw all his body, he was still buried in the logs. He couldn't move his front right paw, it must be broken. He knew he wasn't going to survive long.
"Help...help." He choked out weakly, no response. Where was mother. Here remembered the logs falling he remembered being crushed. How long had it been since that happened? It didn't matter now, he just needed to get out. He kicked his back legs, luckily they hadn't been crushed, since the front of his body took the blunt of the attack. He pushed them onto the logs behind him and managed to push himself unstuck from the logs, thankfully since mother had tried to dig him out Nuka could push forward without worrying about being crushed under more logs. Water leaked in threw the logs, it would have just been perfect timing if the dam was to burst. He coughed as he pulled himself out of the pile. He was hurt and badly, he knew he was probably going to die. Maybe if he found mother though he would be okay, his body had fresh wounds on it, he was bleeding badly, he would have to walk all the way out of the gorge to, using only three paws. He managed to walk by keeping balance on his left paw and pushing forward with his back paws, he felt broken inside, so much pain. He continued to push forward a bit further and simply collapsed into unconsciousness . At that moment a wise old Baboon walked over to him. The Baboon Rafiki groaned and looked to the sky.
"I'm getting to old for this Mufasa." Wind then blew harshly after he said that. "Okay, okay, calm down." Rafiki then leaned down beside Nuka and grabbed his left paw and thrust it over his shoulder.
"Rafiki will fix you up." He then pulled Nuka along. "But Rafiki's gonna make you lose a few pounds after this. Mufasa you've got to find yourself a younger Baboon." Rafiki complain as he slowly pulled Nuka along. It took a while but he managed to get Nuka back to his tree were he was able to use leaves to bandage him up, and made potions to make him heal faster. Zira's last stand took place, but Nuka remained in a coma.
