Disclaimer: As you know, I don't own anyone (except my three new characters, who shall arrive soon). Don't sue me for anything, I'm just a sarcastic girl who doesn't know when to keep her mouth shut. Also, I'm poor. You couldn't get a dime out of me.
Chapter 1: The Doorstep
"I don't think the Dursleys have ever looked so inviting," Harry said thoughtfully as they walked up to Number Four, Privet Drive.
Hermione and Ron each gave him weak smiles in return. Harry couldn't blame them. It had been a long, hard year for the trio.
He felt guilty for their presence at the Dursleys. They were only here out of loyalty for him. He had felt obligated to search for the missing Horcruxes Dumbledore's death.
He clenched his fists at the thought.
He loathed Severus Snape with an intensity that would have frightened Voldemort. He had always felt that Snape had never had a true allegiance with the Order of the Phoenix. Though, he partly believed that this had to do with the fact that Harry blamed Snape for Sirius's death, as well.
And his parents. Why hadn't Dumbledore told him that Snape was responsible for his parents' death?
Self consciously, he unclenched his fists. It a challenge to think of anything but revenge these days. In fact, he had made a list of those he planned to kill. Voldemort, of course, had been the first on it. After him came Severus Snape, Peter Pettigrew, and Bellatrix Lestrange. He had yet to decide whether or not Draco Malfoy was worthy of his wrath. Technically, he hadn't killed Dumbledore. Personally, Harry didn't believe that he would have. Dumbledore wouldn't have been dead now, if Snape hadn't intervened.
Once again, hot anger coursed through his veins.
He then became aware of someone snapping their fingers in front of his face.
He blinked, then realized that he had probably been standing there for several minutes
"Harry?" Ron said slowly. "Are you alright?"
"Sorry, just…….thinking" he finished lamely.
"About what?" Hermione said. Harry almost laughed. She had always been the bright, inquisitive one, while he and Ron had always been content to rely on her as an academic crutch.
"Dumbledore, Snape, Malfoy….." He was clenching his fists again. He forced himself to relax.
"Which Malfoy?" she said, cocking her head to the side curiously, her brown curls bouncing softly. Ron looked at her in complete adoration.
Hmmm, good idea. He thought, is Malfoy Senior death-worthy?
Hermione gave a little cough. They were still on the doorstep.
"Right," he said, ringing the doorbell, his foot nudging his suitcase nervously.
They all readied themselves for the confrontation. The Dursleys wouldn't exactly be pleased to find three magical teenagers on their doorstep.
A/N: Short chapter, I know. Please, remeber that this is my first story. I have a plan, but the exposition is a little slow. It'll pick up in a chapter or two, I promise. New characters with an interesting background.
MAKE SURE TO REVIEW. I won't post more without feedback. Apparently, I'm rather short-sighted. It never occurred to me that I would have to confront the Dursleys. I'll think it over.
I would like to thank three people for reviewing within twenty-four hours of this story's creation:

Thankyou, I truly appreciate the constructive criticism.
Mlovektosing
I love to sing too. Thanks, Mary Kate. I love your name, by the way, and I just read a book with a character that had to same name.
PKsDancingGirl
Geez, wish I could dance. Thanks for the Lestrange thing. And your right, I totally forgot about Ron and Hermione's feelings. I suppose I just like Harry too much to let him share the limelight. I'll make an effort in the future. Thankyou.
