Shinji and Asuka's story is over. The world will soon forget about them. They must also forget everything about each other to be able to move on. But as the old saying goes: "You can erase someone from your mind. Getting them out of your heart is another story". An homage to the extensive LAS/Asushin lore and romance in canon and in fan works - from past, present and the future.

Or how the chance to fully understand another might mess up your existence. Especially if your name is Shinji Ikari.

Misato buys Shinji a journal as a moving-in gift, hoping it will help him confront his fears. What follows is a window into his mind as he learns to understand and come to terms with his feelings better. (Also available on Archive of Our Own)

When Shinji Ikari rides the train from Nagano to Tokyo-3, he is made the epicenter of a reality altering event. With the reality he had occupied now changed forever, he must conceive of a future that will accomodate diametrically opposed ethos. A man who has never known love is now responsible for the fate of the very humans he's been kept separate from, for good or ill.

Few get a second chance at living, let alone two or three. Rei Ayanami never knew what to do with the lives she had until it was too late. Getting another chance at living could mean a world of difference. After all, life is an ever changing thing and even the smallest of changes can reverberate across the world.

He opened his eyes, took one look at that blasted ceiling again, and nearly shrieked in despair. He had been so certain last time would work. A time travel Eva story about obsession and fantasy.

"It's shocking how simple it is to tear the world apart, but rebuilding it, that isn't so easy." the older man mused. "I know," the boy replied, that weight in his chest a bit too heavy "I can't remember the last time I wasn't trying to fix it." (Bridge between NGE - Rebuild)

Here's a shadow of the future. Not the terror and end of Third Impact, just a rolling landscape of sameness.

A series of really short stories and parodies, mixing Asushin themes with some iconic scenes from famous movies and series. To make things more interesting, I won't tell in advance which movies or series are going to be mixed in each story. Spoilers for the final Rebuilds movie 3.0 1.0 (Thrice Upon a Time) begins in Chapter 5.

After being abandoned with his aunt and uncle on Earth, Shinji Ikari is one day summoned to the far off colony of NERV by his estranged father. He boards the Galaxy class starship the USS Tokyo, captained by Misato Katsuragi, completely unaware of the fate that awaits him... Set in the Star Trek Universe.

Shinji is staying in the bathroom and not come out for a while , so Asuka decides to do him a little favor. (ROE setting, happens in Village 3)

Fifteen years after Second Impact, the world faces its deepest conflict. NERV, a militaristic organization in Japan, drafts young soldiers aged 14 to combat the mysterious organization SEELE and their super soldiers; the Angels. Shinji Ikari is taken from his mundane existence back home and is confronted with a life-threatening task as he learns to come to terms with his existence.

Growing up in the shadow of the apocalypse, all Shinji Ikari ever wanted to do was reconnect with what little family he has left. On the cusp of his sixteenth birthday however, it would seem his father, and fate itself for that matter, have much more in mind for him.

A quick story I wrote as one of my Writing Assignments this Semester. Shinji and Asuka met when they were much younger but no longer remember it. Here's the story of how they met! Rated K , it's mostly quite tame, but there are some mentions of suicide in the last section.
