Here is chapter 11. It's honestly not as long as I'd hoped, but considering how I don't actually know what else to add, this was the best. Next chapter falls into this similar problem and so do the ones that come afterward.

Disclaimer: I do not own Naru- should I even say that when Hinata's the central character here? I do not own Hinata, even though I make her go through a lot in this fic.

The days that came and went passed like a blur for Hinata.

Although she had resolved herself to not let Earth be destroyed, or end up as a wasteland, she also realized she couldn't stop Toneri if he decided to.

The only reason he didn't, if her memory was right, was because of Kaguya.

Speaking of her...

How was she meant to deal with her? Could she even?

If she'd taken Madara's spot, then she was the one who'd kept this going? Was she the reason why they'd all turned?

But... why? Why do this?

Why turn everyone into Zetsu's to begin with? What use did she have with them?

It's answers she can't seem to figure out. And it's a question that keeps repeating in her mind while she lives.

Toneri himself seems to try socializing with her, but it always ends up in an awkward situation.

It's only a week later, while Hinata was doing something else, that she asks something that's been bothering her. In the middle of dinner.

''How do you get any of this food here?''

They were in the moon. Toneri had said so himself. So... how did he get this?

''The answer is rather simple. The moon isn't just some rock. The inside is filled with nature and once, civilization.''

It was already a surprise that anyone lived on the moon. But now this?

''Is it possible for me to explore outside of the palace?''

She had to see it for herself.

''No.''

And of course, he had to say no. But Hinata was no giving up.

''And why are you saying no?''

Toneri didn't answer. It told Hinata there was something he didn't want her to find. Now what, was the question.

But then, Toneri spoke up again.

''Very well. I'll allow you to explore as much as you wish. However, I do expect you to return by night, preferably before dinner.''

Sometimes, she hated toneri. Other times, she liked him. This time, it was the latter.

''Don't worry. I will be back by then...''

She then realized one problem.

''How do I get out?''

It didn't take too long for her to be out, considering that Toneri had a puppet that could fly.

And she finally knew where the palace was. In the very sun this moon had. Still, that was not what she was looking at.

It was how similar to Earth this place looked. If it wasn't because she knew she was on the moon, she'd have mistakenly believed it as well.

And the nature energy she sensed here... it was genuine life. Not any faking.

The puppet eventually landed in the middle of the forest, and Hinata went on to explore.

Hours later, sometime during lunchtime (to which Hinata had brought her own lunch, something Toneri didn't seem to complain about), she was able to spot a ruined village.

That made her pause. But she realized that if it was colonized, then it had to have been populated here at some point. But the fact it's in ruins...

She explores it. And is immediately caught off guard by a spider web upon her first entrance.

She's really not amused. Or the fact she got a scare by it.

But... well, she might as well use it here. Try to see how it goes.

After making sure that there aren't any nearby surprise insects, she sits down cross-legged and sits still. Gathering nature energy.

Soon enough, she has gathered enough nature energy as her Byakugan turned gold, and the mark returned to extending from her eyes towards the back of her ear.

She breathed in as she stood up. Byakugan now active as well as she stepped out.

Honestly, she didn't need to keep it active. But at the same time, the fact she saw all of this... the fact she could both see and sense it...

Hinata never had realized how breathtaking it seemed to be. To just see it littering all around...

It likely did sound weird, but it just... was something she felt awed about.

It didn't stop her from running into more spider webs and just seeing how... desolated, the town looked like.

It was clear no one had been here in a while. In fact, it looked like a battle had taken place long ago and this was the aftermath.

And yet, Hinata found herself wanting to explore more.

However, she also knew that she had to follow what Toneri told her. Which meant, not staying out here.

Hinata had an idea in mind, to fix that.

A shadow clone would work just fine, for one night.

When it did come for her to return, then she would let her clone keep going.

And it worked.

Toneri either didn't notice or just didn't care she'd left a clone behind. Either way, her clone was exploring further while she was back at the palace.

It's incredibly refreshing, in the coming days, to explore an unknown location.

With just how hyperfocused on Konoha and an impossible mission, she had never... taken easy, so to speak.

Her Shadow Clones are incredibly useful, and it saves her time.

She's now on her third abandoned town. But she'd stopped exploring an hour ago and just... think.

Because she doubted just asking Toneri to go back to Earth would be a possibility. Not with what she'd learned.

Although it likely would delay his idea of destroying Earth. Except could she stop his will?

Now that she thought about it. How did Toneri evolve... Hanabi's... Byakugan into a Tenseigan? Could she replicate that for the supposed matching power of a Rinnegan?

Asking him wasn't going to work, was it?

...maybe it would?

But then again, he wasn't an idiot. They both knew each other's viewpoints. But Toneri had to know something that only he knew how to do, or else, the Hyuga clan would have at some point figured out that there was an evolutionary step for the Byakugan.

So what did he have, that they lacked?

In fact, how did he know? Did someone tell me, or was it archived somewhere?

And that's when she realized it. Toneri likely had archives somewhere. A library or something that stored information.

It was either that, or someone told him, but then that made her question how long ago that was.

Should she risk asking him, and him undoubtedly getting suspicious of her?

Or should she try to find the information some other way...

That wasn't even counting that she needed to find a way out of this, but the exit way likely wasn't out there but somewhere in the castle.

So really, she should be spending more time in the castle and not out here in the moons wilderness.

But at the same time...

She stood up. No reason to stay there and do nothing. It was time to explore further.

And then, she fell on that... well, weird room.

Having made a makeshift torch, she read some kind of text that, upon closer inspection, likely was related to the power of the Tenseigan.

''Byakugan princess...''

A voice, out of nowhere, spoke up to her mind. And then, a sort of mechanism seemed to open from the ground.

Hinata was left slightly unsettled by that voice that came out of nowhere. But, her curiosity got the best of her.

She stepped down to see what looked like a graveyard. But then, she spotted a person.

''The Byakugan. I sense the Byakugan.'' he was stepping closer and closer to her. But she swears she could hear relief in his tone.

''Oh, I'm certain of it.''

Hinata stood on guard, gradually feeling rather uncomfortable as he spoke.

''Oh. Byakugan princess.''

Then, to her horror, he opened his eyeless sockets before groaning as an orb made out of chakra came out of his mouth.

It floated there for a moment while the man fell on his knees. Then, it shined and before Hinata knew it, her mind was elsewhere.

And that's it for this chapter. With it, I think you all know what happens next chapter. But well, that'll be it for today. Onwards with answering the comments.

DemonGokuto: Ah, you've just asked something very much important. At least the first half. The second half is impossible since I highly doubt any of the cyborgs were even born during this time. In fact, while Amado is very likely alive during this time, he's... not exactly in any position to do this work since the Infinite Tsukuyomi is in place. No cyborgs for Jigen there.

LB Cat: Relatively fitting word, yeah. And yeah, no more of them. They're out for good and won't re-appear. This is a Hinata centric story, after all.

A reader: Well... you've got the answer!
