Chaldea

An organization that was built and formed to accomplish one goal. To preserve humanity, to protect it's people. A place that was made to preserve human life itself.

Chaldea has gone through a lot of trials and tribulations, fought enemies that would be unbelievable to even describe, made friends along this journey, friends that one might call as allies. It isn't all happiness looking back, the journey was a cruel one to put simply. The amount of heartfelt goodbyes, the unjust farewells, and the lingering regrets left behind...

Some wonder, was this journey worth it?

Was all of the pain worth it?

Did it all matter at the end?

The answer is quite simple is it not?

~Chaldea~

It is roughly about in the middle 21st century, about 2026 if we were to utilize the restored calendar that was currently being used

A place where people of old and new come together. A bastion of hope for some, a second life to many, and a place home to all

Chaldea has gone through many things together

Calling it an organization would be quite the injustice isn't it?

Chaldea is more than that

...

..Chaldea..

..It is a family..

...

"Sh..shirou?"

...

"Sa..ber?"

...

"Shirou!?"

A young girl yelled frantically as she woke up with a start. Panting heavily as tears from her eyes and her sweat came together in her face. She wiped her forehead while closing her eyes.

She couldn't stop it, she was on the verge of tears yet again. How many times has this happened? Too many to say the least. She couldn't help it, she started crying softly while saying soft whimpers.

She furrowed her head into her pillow and started to talk to herself softly.

"...Sh...rou.."

"when..."

"I want to.."

The girl said while crying, making it hard to form any coherent sentences. It too some time for her to calm down. Every single time she would sleep, that image, that moment would forever haunt her

slumber

...

"I love you Shirou"

...

That memory would always play like a lost mirage being swept away by the wind of time. That memory was supposed to bring her happiness and yet it did the polar opposite. It would always haunt her, It would always be a constant reminder of regret. It would always be a remnant of a dream that was never meant to be. With each passing day her hope would slowly corrode over time. It brought her great sadness. It brought her to her last breath. The one time where she wanted something, wanted someone. The one person that never gave up on her. If she was a broken mirror, then said person was the one who picked up all of her broken and shattered pieces. The only one that made her feel human again, and she can't even have it? Not even a fleeting moment? Not even a single second?

...

What did she ever do to deserve this? Was this a sick punishment? Was this life's way of playing with her heart? That very heart she casted away. The very heart he showed back to her. Whoever it was out there that was the reason to all this torment, she cursed that being with every fiber in her body.

...

Something was off today though, somehing was different, that memory didn't play in her slumber, instead she was greeted with an unfamliar sight of a man with a glowing hood, what happened afterwards was progressively getting more and more hazy and fuzzy to recall, let alone remember. There was one thing that she could remember feeling in that state of mind though, strangely enough, it gave her a reassurance, something that she hasn't been akined to for quite some time now.

...

It took a while before this lady calmed down and her sobs and whimpers subsided. One she did she went up from her bed and laid her eyes upon her surroundings. She was in her room, quite the regal and royal one at that. It was a quarter that was made for a King and screamed levels of royalty.

The room was quite spacious, if one had to guess it would be roughly around 400 meters. There was a desk with a blue and golden lampshade. To it's side was a beautiful armor stand that showed a royal blue armor and a regal blue gown like garment in pristine condition. Next to it was a a simple wooden bookshelf with framed pictures, and from what it seemed, it was likely very important to her. Next to said pictures however was an opened chest with a simple gold and pearl necklace ina pillow casing with a note attached to it. It seemed like a recently aquired item and a fresh delivery at that. The floor was made out of oak wood with tints of marble here and there. The most noticable thing in the room would be the bed, It looked like a King-sized bed that had a considerable size and had a clear blue veil hanging atop. There appeared to be a secondary yet small room to the far right, by the looks of it, it must have been a bathroom. There was also a large oval mirror that laid at the wall just by the side of the desk. It's gold and blue design was already a treasure in of itself.

She looked at the room quite hazily, as not to long ago she was sobbing. She eventually stood up slowly and made her way to the mirror. She looked like a wreck if she had to be honest with herself, her posture was unbefitting of a woman, her eyes were sore and bloodshot from crying. Her face still had the obvious dried tears plastered on her cheeks. Her night gown looked like it had a rough night.

A few seconds pass by until the silence was cut by a load and sudden growl from seemingly out of nowhere. It was so loud in fact that the sound resounded throughout her room. She tensed as her senses was taking over and instinctively reached out to her side like a warrior preparing to unsheath her sword. Only to later hear the sound again...this time coming from her stomach.

Her face then went beetred as a deep shade of pink crept it's way to both her ears. Seconds passed by before she eventually started laughing softly to herself.

"It's a good thing I'm still in my room"

She said softly to herself. Her eyes then widened in realization, her head then slowly turned and made it's way to the alarm clock on her desk.

"It's already 10?!"

She began panicking as she began fumbling and running around her room to get dressed up. She ran to her closet and opened her wardrobe quickly like speed itself. She didnt even bother looking at her choices of clothing and took whatever dress that was closest to her hand. After she practically snatched her dress from her wardrobe she rushed to the bathroom in a mere moment's breath and came out of it a minute later all cleaned up and with a triumphant smile on her face. She could have sworn she saw gold sparkles illuminate around her as she revealed herself and opened the bathroom door. She then went up to her armor stand and grabbed her blue gown like garment and placed it over her shoulders.

"I need to hurry before I make them wait too long for me.."

She mentally said to herself out loud before her stomach growled again

"and to save myself from dying of hunger"

she mentally added to herself with a chuckle at the end as she was then proceeding to head to her door.

...

"Lancelot quit staring at the ladies like that it might come off to them as rude"

A silver blonde man said while he closed his eyes in dissapointment. He appeared to be wearing a gray flannel.

"I-I wasn't staring at them!"

A man with slick violet hair said in retort to the accusation. He was wearing a black jacket with a few violet undertone desgins, by the look alone, it looked like it was made and stitched by hand.

"mhm..yeah right"

A blonde girl with a spikey and rough hairstyle said while she was sitting on the hallway floor while rolling her eyes away from the conversation. She appeared to be wearing a red leather jacket.

"Your lucky, Queen Guinivere headed to the cafateria first Sir Lancelot"

A man with black hair said in an irritated yet calm tone. He seemed to be wearing a long sleeved button up shirt.

"Now, now quite teasing him aggravain"

A white haired man said in a carefree and joyful tone. He was wearing a simple black shirt and had a silver necklace hanging from his neck.

"Ehe~ Mashu would say otherwise"

A short girl said while trying to sound respectful but failed to do so due to the snicker at the end of her sentence. She was wearing a simple white dress paired with a simple black skirt.

"Yeah if she saw what you were doing a while ago, both her and Galahad inside would've crushed you with their Shield Sir Lancelot"

A blonde man said in an agreeing tone with the short girl. He seemed to be wearing a white button up shirt paired with a gray leather jacket.

"What's taking her so long?!"

A maroon haired man said as he was visibly irritated due to his restlessness. He appeared to be wearing a dark red jacket similar to the blonde girl's outfit if not for the diffirence in terms of color palette.

...

"An irritated face doesn't suit you Kay"

A feminine voice said while the door they were waiting on finally opened. It opened in an automatic fashion as the feminince voice that resounded from the other side was now revealed in full. It was a blonde girl that by looks alone, one could tell was from royalty. As her lips opened and spoke, and her eyelashes fluttered open revealing her green almost emerald like eyes.

"My King"

The group of people said in unison before they instinctively knelt to the ground in respect. Only to be stopped at by the blonde feminine figure.

"Wa-wait! my friends! stop that! how many times have I told you to drop the formalities!... be-besides! were in the middle of a hallway! other servants are staring!"

The once elegant and pristine young lady was now a fumbling mess filled with embarassment. The group of people then stared at each other before smiling and laughing as they began to stand up.

"Please forgive us Arturia"

A man said while he kept his eyes barely open. He had long red hair as it reached down to his red flannel with magenta colored outline like designs.

"I was wondering when you'd open the door sister"

Kay said

"Did you oversleep father?"

Mordred said

Arturia then let's out a blush and a sheepish smile, yet it showed a hint of sadness

"I guess you could say that..."

Arturia said while trying to sound embaressed but failed to do so due to how soft she replied. This earned the concerned looks that was now visible on the latter's faces.

"A-anyway where are my other selves?"

Arturia said trying to change the topic

"Your counterparts are already in the cafateria my ki-"

Arturia raised a brow

"They are already in the cafateria Lady Arturia"

Aggravain said with a cough and with a bit of truggle in his voice

"Better"

Arturia hummed in an amused tone.

"Well let's get going then shall we?"

Arturia said while smiling like a child, she then began leading the group as they were beginning to walk down the hallway. During of which was filled with bantern and a lot of laughing. Well almost for everyone...for the most part..

"Back when we were kids, Arturia would always get in a fight between father's animals in the pigsty's! It looked like an unfair duel of who throws the most manure onto each other, and she looked like she was getting really into it to!"

Kay teased her sister as he was laughing hysterically while reliving a fond memory of the past. This resulted in Arturia blushing uncontrollably and getting slightly irritated.

"I don't want to hear this from the guy who had horse muck over his blade when he unsheathed it during a duel"

Arturia replied in retort to his brother's antics earning him a stunned and embarrassed look on his face, but said sister still continued teasing him back.

"Isn't that right? Knight of the Foulend?"

Arturia said as she started giggling at the end of that sentence

"wh-why you!"

Kay's face started flushing in a beetred color from embarrasment.

"You guys are truly siblings aren't you?"

The white haired man said while trying to hold in his laughter. This earned a blush from both siblings as they fumbled while they were walking.

"Shut up Percival"

Both Arturia and Kay squeeked in unison

The others could only laugh at the antics of their King. It's been a long while since they were finally reunited, but the site of their king smiling and finally acting like any girl, any human should, would still be a refreshing sight to see, and quite frankly their happiness couldn't even be beginned to be described in mere simple words. Especially to a certain blonde in the crowd wearing a red leather jacket, she was the one who smiling the hardest. Her smile wasn't of any devious intent nor had any mischiveous hidden meaning. She was simply happy seeing the father she looked up to finally smiling and laughing.

Her smiling and staring didn't go unnoticed though as Arturia looked back at Mordred and smiled at her while she was still in a daze. Mordred then looked away while blushing before her father grabbed her open hand and started dragging her to the front of the group with a smile on her face.

"W-wah?! F-father!"

Mordred stuttered incoherently

"Oh come now Mordred, I just wanted to ask you how you were"

Arturia said with an innocent smile while looking at her child

"I-iv'e been fine! f-fathe-"

Mordred stuttered but was put to a halt as she sensed that her father stopped walking. The others behind also stopped moving to see why their King had stopped pestering Mordred like a child. Only to be met with the reason before their very eyes. In front of them were a group of four people, but the one in front of them was the reason the air suddenly felt thick and the ackward silence that soon followed. She appeared to be wearing a brown and black short fur coat and had a pair of sunglasses over her eyes. To her left was a considerably tall woman that wore a gray flannel paired with dark slate thigh high socks She was looking flustered as she was staring at a certain blonde at the latter crowd. To her right was two girls, the other one was wearing a red velvet dress while looking at the latter crowd with a snicker. The other girl was of a shorter height, she was wearing an elegant sapphire and teal dress. She looked quite regal and serious but would occasionally catch a glance at a smiling white haired man amidst the crowd in front of her, while slightly raising her hand and waving it to him with a slight hint of a pink blush.

"Morgan"

Arturia said first, she sounded robotic and distant, yet still remained a calm and respectful demeanor.

In response to this, the woman in front them took off her sunglasses as her face showed a slightly amused smile, much to Arturias annoyance.

"And good morning to you to, Sister"
