Episode 12: Wrath Ring Talent Show

On their last day in the Wrath Ring, the I.M.P crw are with Amara's friends. In fact, they are playing with a kickball on the field at the outskirts of Aaron's home. Aaron's home. Mainly Amara, her friends, little Roy, and Loona. Moxie stays with Millie and Blitz is taking a nap under a tree.

Amara kicks the ball and calls out, "Hey Loona heads up."

"Got it!" Loona answers.

She then bounces the ball on her head and bounces it on her knee. Loona then kicks the ball to Aaron.

Aaron then catches the ball in the air with his as he bounces it on his chest.

"Catch Emily!" Aaron calls out.

Then bounces it to Emily. Emily then lets the ball roll down her tail and then to her back. She then dribbles the ball with her feet down the field. She then passes the ball to Madison. She then passes the ball to Roy.

Millie and Moxxie are sitting at a picnic table close by to see them playing.

"They sure are having fun, huh Moxxie," Millie happily says.

"Yeah. Amara and Roy seem very happy to hang out with Aaron and the others," Moxxie says.

"Yeah. They must be glad to be able to hang out with their friends," Millie happily says.

Just then, Roy ends up kicking the ball out of bounds. It then rolls over and ends up gently hitting Blitz at the side. He walks up and turns to see the kickball next to him. Then pick it up.

Roy then runs to Blitz, "Sorry about that, Blitz. My kicking was a little off."

"It's cool kid, just be careful next time. I'm trying to sleep," Blitz says.

"Okay," Roy says, taking the ball.

Roy then kicks the ball back to the group and they continue to play. Blitz looks to see Loona is actually having a good time with Amara, Roy, and their friends, which actually makes him feel glad for her.

Sometime later, everyone is sitting on the table having lunch. At the same time, Amara and the others explain to Blitz and the group about their time in the Wrath Ring.

"Really? So you guys are also like a team in school?" Millie asks.

"In a way yeah. Mainly because we were in the same team for the School Rodeo Show," Madison says.

Emily then says, "Madison is responsible for our costume and make up. And of course, Amara and I are good performers with their own special talents. Aaron, Cyclone, Greg, Cody, and myself also play instruments. Of course, Amara plays her guitar."

"Sounds to me like you can put on your own show if you could," Blitz says.

"That's true, but I'm not interested in going too big or anything," Amara says.

"And Aaron will be also running his family business when he gets older," Greg says.

Aaron chuckles, saying, "That's true, but I like to have some fun before that happens."

"And you also have your special red string," Cody says.

Aaron blushes and smacks Cody on the head, "Shut up."

"Really, and who will that red string be?" Blitz asks.

Before Aaron can say anything, they hear a female voice call out, "Aaron!"

The group turns their head to see a female scarlet red imp with snow white hair in a ponytail. She also has short black and white striped horns and black blotches on her right arm, left leg, and on her tail. She is wearing a white dress with red and white color boots. She also has a red handbag.

The girl continues to call out, "Aaron! Aaron! Aaron!"

Seeing the Imp girl makes everyone, especially Amara and the girls, disgusted.

"Yuck! It's Dahlia, the meanest girl in school!" Madison says, annoyed.

"Did she have to come here?!" Amara asks, completely annoyed.

Loona turns to Amara and asks, "I take it that you can't stand her."

"As much as Blitz can't stand Verosika," Amara says, placing her fingers on the bridge between her eyes.

The Imp girl, Dahlia stops to see the group, especially Amara.

Annoyed Dahlia says, "Amara, what are you doing back here? Got kicked out of there for not being a city slicker?"

"No Dahlia, my team and I are here to spend a few days in the Wrath Ring for the festival and hang out with my friends. We don't need you here to give us any of your shit," Amara firmly says.

"Whatever," Dahlia says, annoyed.

She then walks to Aaron as she wraps her arms around him and begins to flirt with him.

"Hi Aaron, it's nice to see you again. Do you want to go to the saloon and grab some root beer?" Dahlia asks with a seductive smile.

Annoyed, Aaron says, "No thanks. I would rather stay here with my friends."

Come on Aaron, don't play hard to get. I like to treat you to a few drinks, among other things," Dahlia says.

"Dahlia, will you just give it a rest. You know that Aaron is not into you, so get the fuck out of here or you'll end up on the receiving end of Amara's powers," Emily sternly says.

Then Amara holds out her right claw as they glow a bit, "And I'm not afraid to use it."

"Hmph, fine. I don't see why you even competed in the Pain Games. With your powers, it seems unfair to the rest of us, just like what happened in the Wrath Ring Rodeo," Dahlia says, bitterly.

"Come on Dahlia, you know that Amara doesn't cheat. And there is nothing in the rules saying that she can't use her powers for her performance," Cody says.

Then Josephine says, "You're just mad cause she beat you."

"Hmph. Yeah right. Amara only won because the judges don't know a good performance when they see one. I need to get going. Your loserness is spreading," Dahlia says.

Then flirts with Aaron, "See you later my little bat."

Then the Imp girl leaves as her tails sway from left and right.

Madison growls in anger, "That spoiled, selfish, arrogant, bitch! I swear, I'm going to off her stupid ass if she keeps talking down to us like this."

Aaron groans annoyed and places his face on the table.

"Are you okay, sugarcube?" Josephine asks.

"No. I swear, can she not take a hint?!" Aaron says, frustrated.

"So who is that bitch?" Blitz asks.

"That girl is Dahlia. She's the meanest girl at school, not to mention biggest man eater school," Madison says.

"Not to mention she has a major crush on Aaron," Greg says.

"And that she is still stalking him every waking moment," Emily adds.

Blitz says, "Sounds to me like you need help offing this chick."

"Blitz, we're not going to kill her. Besides, offing her is not good enough for my standards," Amara says.

"Yeah. I like to teach that bitch a lesson," Cyclone adds and crunches a corn on the cob.

Then Emily says, "And I think I have an idea how. There's a talent show going on tonight, And I heard Dahlia and her annoying entourage are going to compete in it. I say let's compete and beat the crap out of her."

"Sounds good to me," Greg says.

"It will be like old times," Cody says.

Then Emily says, "And Amara will be our lead singer."

"Huh? Why me?" Amara asks, confused.

"Because you're a better singer than the rest of us and everyone in school loves to hear you sing. Remember at our school talent show in elementary school, your singing was great and you won first place," Emily says.

Amara thinks a bit, and says, "Hmm, I guess you have a point. I don't see why not."

"I love to hear you singing," Millie says.

"I'm curious about it myself," Moxie says.

Amara then turns to Emily, "Okay Emily, looks like I'm in."

Suddenly, hears a scream, "Aaaaah!"

The group turns to see Moxxie standing on the table in fright.

"What's wrong, Moxxie?" Millie asks.

"There's a Rattle Snake!" Moxie panics and points his finger at it.

The group looks to see a small black and red striped snake with fangs in its mouth, and has a rattle of keratin on it. Then the snake slithers away without giving them any problems.

"I don't see what the problem is. I think it's actually cute," Amara says.

"Cute?!" Blitz says, confused.

"And they're not violent unless they're provoked. I know cause I caught some before," Amara says.

"Oh really?" Moxxie asks, giving her a suspicious look.

Aaron smirks and points his thumb at Amara, "She catches rats, mice, and bugs too."

"And she actually catches Rattlesnakes and they don't bite her at all," Cody adds.

Moxie becomes stunned to hear this detail.

Blitz laughs and says, "You actually catch rats and snakes! You sure one one sturdy bitch. Are you sure you're not a boy?!"

"Trust me, I'm a girl. And if you dare try to find out if I am, I'll smite you," Amara firmly says.

Greg chuckles, "Believe me, she'll do it."

"And also tossed him out of her apartment every time he sneaks in," Loona adds.

Amara's friends look dumbfounded and turn to glare at Blitz. Blitz sheepishly smiles in reply.

Sometime later, are at a small outdoor stage where the talent show is going to be at. Emily has finished signing a piece of paper on the clipboard and hurries to the others.

Emily says, "There. We're all signed up, and now we just need to have a good song for it."

"What do you think we should do?" Madison asks.

Then turns to Amara, "Other than getting Amara to dress more than just jeans."

"Madison!" Amara panics, blushing.

"Come on Amara, you should at least wear them more often," Josephine says.

Then Emily asks, "So, are you still going to wear the hat?"

Looking at her brown hat and saying, "Of course I am. And before you ask, yes, I'm going to wear this hat to the show. Even though I sometimes wear other hats.

Confused, Blitz asks, "Amara, I've seen you wear different hats before. Why is this one so special?"

"It um, because…. My mom gave it to me," Amara says, embarrassed.

She remembers her mom saying to her, "A special hat for a special girl." She remembers her five year old self blushing and is very happy.

Understanding it, Millie says, "Oh, so it's your mom that makes it special."

"Yeah. I guess when you receive a gift, you think of the person who gave it to you," Amara replies.

"That makes a scene," Moxxie says.

"But that still leaves a song for us to play," Josephine replies.

"And practice a bit," Madison says.

Then Emily turns to Amara, "Hey Amara, do you still write music during your pass time?"

"Yeah. I actually have a few songs written down. You can look if you want," Amara says, showing Emily her note book.

Emily takes the book and looks over it. There are a few songs and some of them are still in working development. Just then, she stops at one of the pages and looks over the lyrics.

"Hmm, I think we should use this one," Emily says, showing the others the lyrics.

Aaron and the group look at the pages with the lyrics and have taken an interest.

"Yeah. I think we can do that," Greg says.

"Yeah. I think we can do that. And I think we can all do it," Cyclone adds.

Josephine happily says, "Then let's practice."

The group then quickly heads off to practice. Meanwhile, Dahlia along with three other female Imp firmly glare at them.

Dahlia lets out a huff and says, "There's no way that stupid paile white bird can beat me. I'll make sure of it."

Then walks away with her entourage.

Time has gone by and Amara along with the others have been practicing as Roy, Eda, Blitz, Millie, and Moxxie are the audience until they take the stage. The group have been practicing their song for hours, and the gang practice playing their instruments and singing. Madison, Amara, and Emily work on the outfits to wear for the show. And Josephine brings in some refreshments.

And now it's time for the talent show, a lot of Imps and a few other demons are gathering around the small stage waiting for the contest to start.

"Well, it may have taken like five hours to get practice, clothes done, and all that shit, but you all made it," Blitz says.

"Yeah. And I'm glad you're able to join us for it," Amara says.

Amara is actually dressed in a jean skirt with frills, a black belt with a silver buckle around her waist, a white blouse, and a look of blue, light blue, and white plaid shirt that is unbuttoned. She is also holding a microphone.

Aaron, who is wearing a white shirt with a brown vest and brown pants, and dark brown cowboy boots looks at Amara with his cheeks a little blush.

He says, "You look great Amara. I'm sure we'll do great."

"Um thanks," Amara says, a little embarrassed.

Cody, and the others are also wearing western light attire for the show.

"I think we're going to beat that annoying bitch and her group of minions," Emily says.

"You really think so?" A familiar voice says in remark.

They soon see Dahlia and her little group wearing female western clothes and look at them with smirks on their faces.

"Oh great, it's the whore and her entourage," Cyclone mutters, gritting his teeth.

"What do you want now?" Amara firmly asks.

"Just to let you know that I plan on winning these little competitions, and I'm not letting some Pale faced Owl and her group of losers beat me," Dahlia says.

Then leans to Aaron with a seductive look, "Of course, you're the only good thing about this group. But still, how would you like to be with me instead?"

Seeing Dahlia flirting with Aaron makes Amara's blood boil. The red aura surrounds her body and her claws like she's about ready to explode.

Aaron quickly says, "No thanks. I'm good. I would rather hang out with my friends."

"Whatever you say. I'll see if you change your mind after the talent show," Dahlia says.

Then turns to the group, "Come on girls."

Then the group walks away.

Loona mutters, "Huh, that Dahlia might have something on you."

"More like I'm about ready to tear that bitch to pieces!" Amara angrily says.

Cody leans back from Amara's furry, "Yikes! I think she's about ready to pop!"

"You sure you don't need us to off this chick?" Blitz asks.

"I would rather not. Killing her is too good for her," Amara says.

Aaron places his hand on Amara's shoulder, "Let's just have our instruments and song ready and forget about Dahlia. She isn't even worth the time of day."

"Okay," Amara says, feeling calm.

Soon, the group heads off to watch the show. They soon see many different Imps young and old do some kind of weird performance one way or another. Some sing, dance, perform crazy and over the top performances that end up leading to injuries or worse.

Soon enough, they are watching Dahlia and her little group do a performance. Dahlia's routine involves rope tricks, dancing, and surprisingly a little bit of can can dancing. They also wear mini skirts that male Imps are practically all over them. The I.M.P crew. Amara, Roy, and the others are watching from the side, waiting for their turn.

Amara groans, "Should have known Dahlia would do something like this."

"Yeah. Can she be more obvious?" Emily says, annoyed.

"It's kind of boring that we had to go last," Greg says.

"Well, you were the last the sign up, so it's no surprise," Moxxie says

"You have a point," Madison says.

Soon enough, Dahlia and her group finishes the performances and the Imps, mainly the boys and men cheer with excitement. Dahlia and her group bows down and walks off the stage. Soon, they walk past Amara and the others with stern stares.

"Let's see you try to top that. There's no way you can beat me," Dahlia says.

Soon, she and her group walk behind the stage.

Emily says, "I can't help but get the feeling they're up to something."

"I'm getting the same thing. I barely know this Dahlia and I already hate her guts," Millie says, crossing her arms.

Loona turns to the group, "You wait, here. I think I'm going to check it out."

"Alright but remember… no killing," Amara calmly says.

"Whatever," Loona says, and walks away.

Blitz follows, "I'll go too. I don't trust those girls."

Aaron turns to the others, "Well, It's time for us to get on stage."

Everyone nod their heads and walk on the stage, Moxxie and Millie remain behind to watch the show.

"Do your best, Amara?" Moxxie says.

"You can do it, sis!" Roy cheers.

"Knock 'em dead," Millie adds.

Soon, Amara and her friends take the stage. Aaron holds his guitar. Greg is holding a cello. Cody is holding a banjo. Cyclone is at drums, and Madison is playing the fiddle. Josephine and Emily are standing in front of the microphone stand. Amara is at front center stage holding a microphone.

Amara holds the microphone and says, "Okay everyone, this Hoedown is going to have some Hip Hop to this song."

That peaks many of the Imps interest.

In the back stage, Dahlia turns to the girls, "Got everything."

One girl has two buckets of marbles. The second girl is holding two buckets of strange red liquid. The last girl is holding two buckets of feathers.

"Good. We're going to turn that feathery bitch's hoedown and a very bad throwdown," Dahlia says with an evil smirk.

"Yeah. Like hell we're going to let that happen," Blitz's voice says.

The girls quickly turn to see Blitz holding a gun and Loona is about ready to pounce at them.

"Oh great, It's Amara's Jester looking clown and his Gothic Depressing Hellhound," Dahlia says, annoyed.

"Watch it, bitch!" Loona angrily says, and flips her finger at Dahlia.

"Yeah. We can tell you bitches are planning on messing with one of my employees and her friends. If you plan on being shitty to my employees, then you're gonna gets what coming to you" Blitz says.

With that, Dahlia and the girls begin to glare at Blitz and Loona, and vice versa. Soon, the girls put the buckets down and bring out dangerous guns and weapons. Soon, a fight begins to break out.

Meanwhile, Amara begins to clap her claws together and begin to sing, and soon enough, everyone begins to clap along. Moxxie uses his phone to record the show as Millie and Roy clap their hands to the beat. Soon, Amara begins to sing.

Amara:

Boom Boom clap

Boom de clap de clap

Josephine, Emily, and Madison:

Soon enough, Amara begins to count and sing.

Amara:

1,2,3,

Everybody come on, off your seats

I'm gonna tell you about a beat

That's gonna make you move your feet

I'll give the Bar-be-que show

And tell you how to move

If your five or eighty-two

This is something you can do

Josephine, Emily, and Madison:

(woah-woah)

Soon enough, Amara begins to perform dance moves as she sings along to her lyrics.

Amara:

Pop it, lock it

Polka dot it

Countrify then

Hip-hop it

Put your hawk in the sky

Move side to side

Jump to the left

Stick it, gliiide

All the imps and a few other demons begin to cheer. Many even leave their seats to dance along to the music.

Amara calls out, "Alright, one more time!"

Amara:

Amara takes the microphone from the stand and dances as she sings through it. And dances the same movement matches the lyrics.

Amara:

Zig-zag cross the floor

Shuffle in diagonal

Hands on your hips

One footed

180 twist

and then a,

Zig-zag, step n' slide

Lean it left

clap three times

Shake it out

Head to toe

Throw it all together

That's how we roll

Soon, more Imps get out of their seats.

Amara then walks off the stage to the crowd.

Meanwhile, Blitz and Loona continue to throw their punches at Dahlia and her friends. Blitz grabs the buckets of marbles and throws them at the girls. Soon, the girls are tripping their feets over them. However, so are Blitz and Loona. One of the girls trips and the red liquid has spilled all over them.

"What the fuck?!" Blitz exclaims in rage.

Loona sniffs it and says in disgust, "Fuck! This is blood!"

"And it reeks!" Blitz adds.

Suddenly, they turn to see the four girls viciously glare at them. They realize that they are in deep shit now.

Meanwhile, everyone else is enjoying the show and watching Amara sing and dance. Soon, Amara dances with the crowd, Roy and some of the younger Imps join in on the fun. Millie and Moxxie watch and record the performance.

Amara:

Meanwhile, Blitz and Loona continue to fight against the four Imp girls who are in full rage cause their outfits have been ruined. Blitz acts fast by throwing the buckets of feathers at them, blinding them. Then Loona grabs the rope and lasso them. After that, Loona is able to tie them up and the girls are unable to move.

Meanwhile, Amara is walking in front of the stage as she sings.

Amara:

Amara and Roy stand close to the crowd as she dances and the crowd follows along.

Once Amara has finished her song, all the Imps on stage clap and cheer for the performance. Meanwhile, Dahlia and her entourage are tied up and still struggle to break free. They are displeased as they are covered in blood and feathers. They continue to struggle as they manage to break free and feel disgusted and humiliated.

Long after the show, everyone is at Eda's house for a special celebration. They all tap their glass of drinks together in the middle.

And shout, "Cheers!"

"And it's worth celebrating for winning first place in the Wrath Ring Talent Show," Eda says.

"And also kicking that bitch's ass," Blitz says, still rubbing his head with a towel.

"Yeah. Sorry about that mess you got into," Amara says.

Then turns to Loona, "How are you feeling?"

"Still disgusted by the smell of blood. At least I was able to wash all of it off," Loona says, cleaned up from the blood.

"I say she and her annoying friends deserve it. It's what she gets for trying to mess with us or sabotage us," Madison says.

"I couldn't agree more," Emily says.

"Still, what matters is that we were able to go through the show and we won it too," Cyclone says.

"And we were able to celebrate it," Greg says.

"Yeah," Cody says.

Aaron turns to Amara, "I just hope we don't have to see her and her annoying friends anytime soon."

"Knowing Dahlia, she's not the type to give up. She is far too stubborn," Aaron says.

"True about that," Amara says.

"Aww, forget about that asshole. Let's party the night away!" Eda says.

And party they do, they drink some beverages, of course, Greg and Cody decide to drink alcohol, and get drunk from it. Amara and Josephine make different food for everyone to eat. They also sing karaoke, and Blitz plays and sings to loud heavy rock music that everyone covers their ears. All except for Cyclone who is singing along. As it turns out, they end up with a fun night.

The next day, it's time for I.M.P to head back to Imp City and get back to work. They put their suitcases inside the van and make sure they have all their items. At the same time, Amara and Roy are saying goodbye to their friends.

"Are you sure you can't stay for a few more days?" Madison asks.

"I know, but we have to get back to work. We can't let the business sink," Amara says.

"I suppose, but think you can get us some souvenirs from the human world? I love to see the kind of clothes they have," Madison says.

"And a cookbook too," Josephine says.

"And how about some heavy rock music," Cyclone says.

Amara chuckles and says, "I'll see what I can do."

"Now it's our turn to visit you," Greg says.

"I'll be glad too. I like to introduce you to Octavia sometime. I'm sure she'll like you," Amara says.

"Hopefully Octavia is as fun as you," Cody says.

Amara chuckles, "Oh Cody."

"Well then, we hope to see you around soon," Madison says.

"Bye," Roy says.

Amara softly smiles and says, "Bye."

Soon, Roy heads over to the I.M.P van while Madison and the others head back to their homes. The only ones who remain where they are are Aaron and Amara.

Aaron feels embarrassed and says, "Yeah. I guess it's time for you to get going. I uh, do hope you'll come back sometime."

"Yeah. And I do hope you can come to my apartment and visit some time," Amara says.

"Yeah…" Aaron says blushing.

He then says, "Hey Amara."

"Yeah?" Amara replies.

Aaron then asks, "I know you will be busy with your job, but I, uh… I was wondering if you and I can uh, hang out sometime… you know, just the two of us. You know, go out one night, and such."

"You mean… like a date?" Amara asks, blushing a bit.

"Um yeah. If you want, cause I know you'll be busy with work, and taking care of Roy, so uh," Aaron says.

Amara smiles a bit and says, "I think I like that. I'll let you know when I have some time off and yeah, we can have it from there."

"Great…." Aaron says, excited.

But quickly says in a calm tone, "It's uh, cool."

"Yeah," Amara says.

Then smiles, "I'll be waiting for when it comes."

The next moment she ends up kissing Aaron on the cheek. Aaron looks at Amara looking surprised. Soon, they both begin to blush that their faces are practically turning red. It doesn't help that Amara and Aaron's friends, Blitz and the others, Eda, and Roy see everything.

Eda crosses her arms with a smile and says, "Bold move, Amara."

The two are so shocked, blushed, and embarrassed that they can't say a single word.

Amara quickly says, "Well, okay, I better get going. And I'll make sure to call," Then leaves to the van.

Blitz and the others, including Roy hop in the van.

Amara climbs in the van as she mutters, "Oh, why did I do that? Why did I do that? Why did I do that? Why did I do that?"

Amara then hops in the van and it drives away. Aaron watches as the van is getting farther out of sight. He then falls to his knees and is blushing like crazy.

In the I.M.P van, Amara can't stop blushing. She then opens the window and turns her head back to see Aaron and the others getting smaller as the van drives father. She can't help but smile and waves goodbye to her aunt and friends, especially Aaron. She happily sighs as she feels her heart skipping a beat.
