Episode 17: Hanging out with the Hazbin Hotel Crew

Since Amara has to stay at the Happy or rather, the Hazbin Hotel, Amara is sitting on the couch in the lobby to think about the situation As she lays down on the bed, she can't stop thinking about her younger brother. Who knows how long is it going to be until they arrive, and what she might need or want to do in the meantime. As of now, she doesn't really have much to do.

Suddenly, something catches the corner of her eye, and turns her head to notice a small pink pig looking at her. The pig also has various dark pink and black spots on its body, large black eyes, pink spikes on its back, and two black horns on its head, and a curly tail with a quadrilateral barb at the end of it.

Amara sits up to see the little pig walking toward her with curious eyes. She suspects that she hasn't seen an owl demon like herself before. She can't help but smile to see how curious, small, and cute it is.

She says, "Hey little guy, what brings you here?"

She then scratches the little pig's ear from behind, much to its satisfaction. It lets out a snort as it wags its tail with glee.

Amara giggles and says, "You are so cute."

She then picks up the little pig and holds it in her arms. She then gives it a hug and snuggles it.

"Aww, you are so adorable. You remind me of my stuffed toy, Hooty," Amara says.

After a few moments of hugs and snuggles, Amara asks, "Are you hungry little guy? Want to grab something to eat?"

Soon, Amara is in the kitchen cutting some fruits for a snack: apples, bananas, oranges, and grapes. Once she's done cutting the fruits and place them in separate bowls. She walks back to the couch. She places one on the floor and the pig begins to eat the fruit. At the same time, Amara eats the other bowl of fruits. Amara turns to the little pig and smiles to see him eating. However, she has to wonder what a pig is doing at the hotel in the first place, maybe it's Charlie or one of the other pets.

Before she can think further, she hears someone call out, "Fat Nuggets! Where are you?! Nuggsy!"

Amara turns to the stairs to recognize the voice. Walking down the stairs is Angel Dust, who is looking very concerned. He turns his head left and right, like he is looking for something.

"Hey Angel, what's the matter?!" Amara asks.

"Hey kid, I was looking for a…" Angel says, walking down the stairs and turns to Amara.

He stops answering to see the small pig eating the bowl of fruits with Amara.

Then continues, "Oh there you are. I was looking for you, Nuggs."

Hearing Angel's voice catches the pig's attention and walks towards Angel.

"Oh, so the little guy is yours?" Amara asks.

"Yeah. This is Fat Nuggets. Cute little guy isn't he," Angel answers, picking the pig up.

"He sure is cute. My aunt has some pigs and hogs at her farm, but they're not as cute as this little guy," Amara says and taps Fat Nuggets on the snout.

The little pig snorts and shows a smile on his face.

"Nice to see you like him. Charlie loves Fat Nuggets, and Vaggie is okay with him staying, as long as I keep him out of trouble," Angel says.

"I see," amara says.

Then Angel asks, "Hey Amara, you said that you worked for I.M.P right?"

"Yeah," Anara says.

"So tell me is this true, do you actually have the book that can allow you to go to the human world? It sounds kind of hard to believe," Angel says.

Amara sighs, "It's okay, it's kind of understandable, but it's actually true. Blitz managed to get the book from Stolas."

"How did he do that?" Angel asks.

Amara thinks a little about how to answer it. However, Moxie and Millie have told her and Roy about how Blitz managed to have a passionate negotiation with Stolas to keep and use the book.

Amara calmly answers, "I don't think you want to know."

"Whatever you say," Angel says, shrugging his shoulders.

Then says, "So Amara, you told us that this is your first time coming to Pentagram City. How would you like to have a small tour of the place?"

"Really? I actually want to check out the city, but I'm not sure, especially since I have no clue when Blitz and the others are going to be here. And well, about what happened with Mirage. Plus, I don't have any money with me," Amara says.

"Oh right, that makes sense," Angel says.

Then says, "But still, since you're going to be here for a while, why not have some fun."

"Not while you get her involved with Turf Wars and your line of work," Vaggie's voice speaks up.

The two turn to see Vaggie and Charlie walking into the lobby.

"Hey guys, how are you doing?" Amara asks.

"I'm doing fine. I'm just a little bored as of now, but I met this little guy," Amara says, petting Fat Nuggets.

Then asks, "What are you two doing?"

"Not much, but I do like to get to know you," Charlie says.

"Know me how?" Amara asks.

"Well, you said that you lived in the Wrath Ring, what's your life like there?" Charlie replies.

"Yeah. And how did you work for those Imps at their assassinating business," Angel adds.

"Do you also have any hobbies?" Vaggie adds.

"Oh yeah. Well, my life in the Wrath Ring was alright, as much as living there as it goes. As I already mentioned, I was raised by Imps. They found me in their farm when I was two years old and decided to raise me. I lived a good life. My parents taught me a lot and I worked at the farm like some living in the Wrath Ring," Amara says.

"What were you taught there?" Vaggie asks.

"Anything that farm work goes, like cooking, herding, horseback riding, rope tricks, and use of a dagger. My pa even taught me how to work with my physical strength, and a gun. Even though I have magical powers and all that, but my pa told me that it's important for me to rely on my physical strength," Amara says.

"Really? You must be pretty strong," Charlie says, interested.

"Trust me, I'm pretty strong. I actually won the Pain Games with my boss at the Harvest Moon Festival not long ago," Amara says.

"The Pain Games? What the fuck is that?" Angel asks, confused.

"It's a competition that shows who is the roughest toughest bastard in Wrath!" Amara says.

Angle chuckles and says, "Roughest toughest huh. Sounds like one hell of a game."

"Yeah. The games are awesome. Of course, my parents told me there were those dying in the games a few times, but my friends and I survived it," Amara says.

"Sounds like the games are tough," Charlie says.

"Sure are," Amara says.

"Sounds really tough," Nifty's voice speaks up.

The group yelp in surprise and turn to see Niffty

"Fuck Niffty, someone oughta put a bell on you!" Angel angrily says.

"Sorry, but I heard you listening to Amara's story and I want to hear too," Niffty says.

"Um sure," Amara says.

Then Niffty asks, "So Amara, what's your hobby? What's your favorite color? Favorite food? Favorite stuff and your other interests. Plus, I would like to know what your life as an assassin is. Do you have brothers and sisters? What's it like in the human world nowadays? Maybe even know what kind of amazing stuff they have? Do you have friends where you live, or even a boyfriend?"

"Okay Niffty, you can stop now. I don't think Amara can keep up with your questions," Charlie says.

"Sorry," Niffty says.

"It's okay. I don't really mind it, but I did go through some tough situations and some pains. Of course, there were a lot of good things that happened as well," Amara says.

"Like what?" Vaggie asks.

"Well, back at home, one of the things I love to do is sing, dance, play my guitar and do tricks with my magic, lasso, gun, and dagger. I performed a show with my friends when I was younger and we won first place. That made Dahlia, a girl from my class, annoyed and very jealous. At least that's what my friends said, of course it's obvious. Of course, before that, I was singing one day and a music teacher came up to me and decided to teach me more about music. I became his favorite pupil and encouraged me and my friends to perform," Amara says.

"So what's your teacher's name?" Angel asks.

Amara thinks about it and says, "To be honest, I… I don't remember… I don't even remember what they look like, but I know he's male. He disappeared two weeks before my parents died, so it was still hard to deal with so much happening."

"Yeah. Josephine, who is a Hellcat. Cyclone, a HellHound. There are a few Imps, Cody, Greg, Madison, and her sister, Emily who is a Succubus. And finally, there's Aaron who is a young bat demon from the Chandra family," Amara explains.

"Wow. I met Aaron, he's actually somewhat like me, but can have a bit of a good, tough personality," Charlie says.

"Yep. That's Aaron alright," Amara says.

Amara then sighs and says,"And for a long as I can remember, my parents, Aunt, Eda, my friends and I had somewhat of a good life. I was even happy when Roy was born, and that I became a big sister. Right away, Roy and I became attached to each other soon enough. Until… the incident…"

"Incident? Did that have anything to do with your parents' death?" Vaggie asks.

Amara slowly nods her head in sadness, "It was… they didn't just die… they were murdered."

"Murdered?" Charlie asks, shocked.

"Yes. A group of Imp invaded our home out of nowhere. We didn't know who they were and what they wanted. I tried to protect them, but… one had an angelic weapon and shot me on my stomach and was in terrible pain. My mom quickly put us in the secret room of our home while our father fought against them. Our mother left and closed the door to help. When it was all over, I found our parents dead. I was so devastated that I was knocked out. I almost died, but I was able to have the medical treatment from the wound," Amara explains.

"How awful," Charlie says.

"How can a group of Imps get an angelic weapon?" Vaggie asks.

"I don't know to be honest. I honestly don't fully remember the incident, or remember their faces," Amara says.

"After I was released, my friends did their best to help me with medical rehabilitation and help with my chores and take care of Roy. My aunt Eda tolk me and Roy in and we continue living there happily," Amara explains.

"What made you decide to leave?" Angel asks.

"Just thought it would be good to see more of the world, as well as have other working experience. I tried to apply for a few jobs, but no one will hire me, for odd reasons, even resort to insulting me. So, I decided to use my talents with music, magic, and my tricks to get by. I earn a good amount, and still try to apply for jobs. It was when Moxxie and Millie came along and told them that I plan to apply for I.M.P. Since they worked there, they were more than eager to help. So I applied and ended up having my first assignment test. I killed the creep scientist in the human world and was hired after that," Amara explains.

"Sounds like you lived a rough life, but you also had some good points in your life as well," Charlie says.

"And you had to be one sturdy bitch to survive two different shots from angelic weapons. Not just anybody can survive shots from those kinds of weapons," Angel says.

"Uh thanks," Amara says, feeling a bit flustered.

"If you don't mind me asking, why did you become an assassin?" Charlie asks.

Amara thinks about it and says, "Well, I thought I could handle it. Plus, I don't seem to mind. This is Hell after all."

"I suppose as long as you're making a living, even though I don't seem to approve of it," Charlie says.

"It's Hell Charlie, killing people is what we do," Angel says.

Vaggie glares at angel Dust, "Says the one asshole who got himself into a Turf War and make us look like a fuckin joke!"

"What?! Are you still bitchin about that?!" Angel angrily asks.

"Mad doesn't begin to describe it!" Vagge angrily says.

"Yeah. Well Miss Eyepatch, just be glad I'm staying in this hotel," Angel says.

"You're supposed to try to redeem yourself, not go out drinking, fighting, killing, or having sex, you Slutty Spider!" Vaggie shouts in anger.

"Stupid Moth!" Angel shouts.

Then Vaggie shouts, "Cabron!"

"Psycho!" Angel shouts.

Soon, Vaggie and Angel begin to shout and at the moment, they both begin to retaliate at each other. Amara, Charlie, and Niffty step back to see the two are brawling with one another.

Confused, Amara asks, "Are they always like this?"

Charlie sighs and says, "Yes. Yes they are."

"Pretty much," Nifty replies.

Amara turns to see Fat Nuggets sitting on the couch and watching his wonder and Vaggie fighting each other.

"Glad to see you're not letting this affect you," Amara says to the pig.

Fat Nuggets simply snorts with a curious expression.

Charlie turns to Amara, and asks, "So Amara, I heard you want to go check out the city."

"Uh yeah. I have never been in a city like Pentagram City before, so I'm interested to see what the big city has to offer," Amara says.

"You're going to love it. You know, you just have to meet Mimzy, she loves to sing and loves music. I'm sure you will love her. Oh, and you got to meet Rosie, she's an Overlord, but she owns an emporium, I think you'll like it. Plus, there is this cafe, you gotta try out and there's also…" Nifty continues to talk fast that it's kind of hard for Amara to keep up.

Amara sighs and decides to take her leave, but ends up bumping into someone, and it's something red. She looks to see the Radio Demon, Alastor.

"Hello my dear little bird, how are you feeling today?" Alastor says with a grin.

Aamara steps back a little.

"Oh don't be afraid. If I want to hurt you, I would have done so already," Alastor says.

"I… I see your point," Amara says, looking skeptical.

Charlie says, "It's okay, Amara. I promise that Alastor is not going to hurt you."

Then whispers, "But it will be best not to do anything to get on Alastor's bad side."

"Um okay," Amara nervously says.

"So Amara, is it? I couldn't help but overhear the conversation, so I was able to hear a lot about myself. A young Owl demon, raised by Imps in the Ring of Wrath, has talent as a performer and unique magical abilities, only to have tragedy strike and have lost the parents and was shot by an Imp with angelic weapon, along with your Imp brother became the sole survivor of the attack. Then with support and devotion, able to gain back on her claws, and became an assassin for a company run by Imps. Ha ha ha!" Alastor says with laughter

Then says, "And yet you were abducted and escaped, despite having another shot wound be an angel's weapon. Quite a fascinating feat."

"Uh yeah. Thanks," Amara says, feeling very uncomfortable.

"However, that has me curious as to what a demon of your appearance and status is doing with a bunch of Imps," Alastor says, leaning toward the young Owl girl.

"Uh, what do you mean by that? I don't see that as a problem," Amara says, starting to not like how Alastro is going with this conversation.

"You say you have unique powers, and I can sense that you are quite a powerful looking demon, and yet, you were raised and work alongside Imps who are considered to be the lowest class of demons. With that power and talent, you might have the same status as an Overlord, maybe even those of Charlie's status. I'm curious to know how your life continues the way you do, and what potential you have," Alastor says, giving Amara an evil grin.

Amara becomes so nervous and uncomfortable that her body begins to shake and is about ready to use her powers on him.

Luckily Angel cuts in as he places his hands on Amara's shoulders, "Alright Smiles, you're really starting to creep her out. I'm going to head out so I'll be taking the kid out of your hair now."

"Come on. I'll show you what Pentagram City has and you're going to have some fun," Angel says, and drags Amara away.

He then picks up Fat Nuggets as well and leaves the hotel and closes the door, leaving everyone else dumbfounded.

Charlie soon hurries after them, "Angel waits for us. I want to come give Amara a tour too."

"Charlie, wait!" Vaggie says, and follows after her.

Vaggie and Charlie are soon gone, leaving Alastor, Nifty, and Husk alone. Well, Husk has been drinking his Booze throughout the conversation and hasn't said a word.

Alastor chuckles and says, "Sounds to me like this girl will make quite an addition to our small group."

"If you don't scare her off first," Husk says, and starts drinking his Booze again.

After leaving the hotel, Charlie and Vaggie are able to tag along with Angel and Amara, and have the limo pick them up. And so, they ride in the limo to a certain destination. Amara is relieved, but feels a bit tired.

"Are you feeling okay Amara? You look exhausted," Charlie asks.

"Not really. That Alastor gives me the creeps," Amara says.

"You're not the only one who feels uncomfortable around him," Vaggie says.

"How are you okay letting him stay at the hotel? He doesn't seem that interested in your program," Amara asks.

"Well, he did say he wanted to help for his own satisfaction, but as long as he doesn't give us problems, things will be fine," Charlie says.

Amara sighs, "I don't know if I can be in the same building without him giving me the creeps."

"Eh, you worry too much about it. Besides, we're here to have some fun and show you what the big city has," Angel says.

Vaggie firmly says, "For the record, Charlie and I will be picking the locations, you'll just just get Amara involved in one of your bullshitted antics."

"Fine, fine, we'll just get the kid some clothes and drinks and go back to the boring hotel," Angel says, annoyed.

Then mutters, "And here I thought we could have some real fun."

"I heard that," Vaggie says.

Amara turns to Charlie, "So Charlie, where exactly are we going?"

"The shopping mall of course," Charlie happily says.

Soon enough, the group arrives at the shopping mall, and there are a lot of stores that sell clothes, drugs, weapons, and a lot of illegal stuff to satisfy some sinners and demons desire. There are some bars, a food court, and other stuff.

"Wow. This shoppin' center is a lot bigger than the shopping district in Imp City," Amara says.

"That's because Imp City doesn't have the cool stuff like Pentagram City does," Angel says.

"So then, where do you want to go first?" Charlie asks.

"Well, I guess getting some clothes will be a good idea," Amara says.

"Come on, I know the perfect store to go to," Charlie says, and drags Amara away.

Soon, the group are in a large store and look around.

"Wow. This store is really huge," Amara says.

"I know. Vaggie and I love shopping in this store," Charlie says.

"Yeah. They actually have nice stuff here," Vaggie says.

"Gotta admit, the clothes ain't half bad," Angel says.

"I have to agree. These clothes are actually pretty good," Amara says.

Charlie giggles and says, "Come on, let's try them on."

And that's what the group does. They look around and pick up all kinds of clothes. They first dressed up in casual wear. They all look at each other and let out giggles. Then they change into different kinds of style, business casual, sports wear style, and holding sporting stuff, a Gothic fashion, swimwear, Wild West Style, punk style, vintage fashion, preppy fashion, even a Lolita style. Of course, Angel Dust likes to have the sexy fashion style or anything related to his porn stuff much to Vaggie's annoyance.

Lastly, Charlie and Vaggie has Amara two specific outfits. The first one is a navy blue tunic with six buttons, black trousers, a dark blue cloak, and a small black top hat.

"Wow. You look so pretty," Charlie happily says.

"Huh, that;s a actually a good style on you," Vaggie says.

Angel chuckles and says, "You look a lot like a boy with that outfit."

"Let's try on the next one," Charlie happily says.

Moments later, Amara changes the clothes and opens the curtains to reveal herself wearing a black and blue elbow length sleeves, long and elegant princess gown, with silver color beads design on it. And a gold tiara on her head, and her feather hair is let down.

"That dress looks good on you," Vaggie says.

Charlie happily says, "I know. You look just like a princess."

"I have to agree, but you sure don't act like one considering your personality," Angel says.

"Oh ha ha," Amara says, a little annoyed.

Charlie giggles, "Well, if you decide what you wanna buy, let's go to more stores."

Thanks to Charlie paying for them, Amara has some clothes for the time behind, it will be for a few days or so. Much to Vaggie's objection, Angel decides to take Amara to a weapons' store. She doesn't mind cause she needed some while living here. The only reason why Charlie and Vaggie end up agreeing is because Amara is able to convince them. She explains that she wants some extra defenses in case Mirage or anyone else working for Orpheus tries to capture her and from any sinners who might try to lay a hand on her. And so, Amara buys a few daggers, pistols, revolvers, and a few bullets in cases, and a sturdy, thick rope.

After doing some shopping, the group is still walking around the mall.

"I have to admit, the mall looks amazin'" Amara says.

"Glad you like it. I do wonder when your work buddies are going to get there," Angel says.

"I'm sure they'll be at the hotel as soon as they can," Charlie says.

"I agree. Besides, I'm sure Roy has been asking them how I'm doing and such by now. Still, I'll be glad to see him," Amara says.

"I still find it odd that an Owl Demon and an Imp are siblings," Vaggie says.

Amara shrugs her shoulders and says, "I don't think it really matters. We're both very close and even though we're different, we still care for each other."

"I think it's sweet," Charlie says.

"Sounds a bit sappy if you ask me," Angel says.

"Don't be like that. I think it's sweet and carrying," Charlie says.

Suddenly, they hear loud explosions from close, causing everyone to come to a stand still.

"What the fuck was that?" Angel asks, confused.

"I don't know. It seems to be coming from close by," Amara says.

"Which means, there's trouble," Vaggie says.

Just then, part of the wall of the upper floor bursts and explodes into the mall catching the sinners and demons in the explosion, destroying some stores, and sending debris flying.

"Incoming!" Vaggie calls out.

Vaggie quickly drags Charlie away. Angel does the same for Fat Nuggets Then Amara quickly moves out of the way with her speed and dodges the debris.

"What the fuck is going on?" Amara asks.

"I think it looks like we're going to get ourselves involved in a Turf War," Angel says with a grin on his face, eager for some action.

Vaggie groans and says, "Oh no."

"This is not good," Charlie says, worried.

Suddenly, they hear the sounds of more explosions and loud crashing sounds. Just then, something flies through the opening of the hole and lands before them.

The demon is a one-eyed demon. She has blonde hair, with pink and white accents, a ponytail, and wears a large amount of mascara. Her eye has a bloodshot pink sclera and a pale yellow X-shaped pupil. White skin with pink freckles on her face and right shoulder. She also has a tattoo along her right arm that changes with different artists' interpretations.

She wears a grey, fingerless satin glove on her left arm and appears to have a tattoo sleeve on her right arm. She also wears a red off-shoulder crop top, a black bra, a reddish, torn-up miniskirt with two buttons on the front and black, ripped leggings underneath. Along with a red and white boot on her left foot, while on the right, a white and red sock, suggesting that she lost her other boot.

She appears to be holding a red bomb in her hand and has an evil grin on her face.

She then says, "Hi Angie!"

"Hey Cherri, you started to have some fun?" Angel asks with a grin.

"You know it. Since you're here, wanna join me for the fun?" Cherri says, twirling the bomb on her finger.

"You know it, sugar tits," Angel says and brings out his gun.

But Vaggie cuts in, "Hey hey hey! You are not going to be involved in another fight! Besides, we're supposed to head back to the hotel!"

Aww, don't be just a killjoy about it," Angel says.

"I really think we should get out of here before something happens," Charlie says, concerned.

Amara soon notices something, "I think we're a little late on that."

Before the group can answer, another explosion occurs. They look to see a large zeppelin flying in the sky that has ray guns, and other weapons hanging out and firing everything at site.

"It looks like we're not going to get out of this one," Amara says.

Vaggie groans and mutters, "God fuckin' dammit."

Seeing the zeppelin with weapons, and big enough to hold a lot of demons. Amara and the others can see that they are not able to get out of this one.
