Episode 20: A Date in Lu Lu World
It's been over a week since the adventure at Pentagram City, and the I.M.P team continue to go on their job routine. They get contracts to kill humans, and end up getting themselves into deep trouble with their targets. Plus, Blitz continues to go on with his, well, weird antics.
One evening, after Amara has finished work for today, Amara is cooking dinner while Roy is doing some of his work for school and listening to the radio.
Amara turns to Roy, "Dinner will be ready soon."
"Okay sis," Roy says.
Amara continues to cook some patties and fries some french fries next to it in a pot. Just then, Amara's hell phone begins ringing. Amara uses her magic to pick up the phone and presses the button.
She has the phone close to her head and says, "Hello."
"Hello Amara. It's me," A familiar voice says.
Amara smiles and says, "Aaron. What a surprise? How are you and the others doing?"
"The gang and I are doing great. Of course, we had trouble with a flaming tornado two weeks ago," Aaron says.
"Yeah. Those tornadoes are always crazy," Amara says.
"I know," Aaron says.
But then says, "But that's not why I call. I want to know if you're free next Saturday. I… um… well…." Aaron says, starting to get a bit skeptical.
"Um yeah. I'm free next Saturday," Amara says.
Satisfied Aaron says, "Great. I actually got two tickets to go to Lu Lu World and I uh, want to know if you want to come with me. Just you and me… You know like a… well… a date."
Amara stops from her cooking and is speechless. In fact, she begins to blush that her cheeks are turning red.
"Amara? Amara?" Aaron asks over the phone.
Amara quickly calms herself down and says, "Um yes. I… Yes. I would love to go out with you to Lu Lu World."
"Great. I'll pick you up at 8:30 am. We can spend the whole day together. Bye," Aarona says.
"Bye," Amara says.
Then they both hang up the phones, ending their call.
Amara squeals with glee and screams, "Eeeeee!"
She then quickly dials the number on her phone with excitement.
The one to answer the phone is Madison who is with her sister Emily, and friend, Josephine.
Madison answers, "Hi Amara, surprised you called? What…"
"I have a date with Aaron!" Amara cries out with excitement.
"Oh, he did, did he? That's wonderful" Madison asks with a grin.
"Yeah. He's going to take me out with him to Lu Lu World next Saturday," Amara says.
"Great," Madison says.
Emily asks, "What's going on?"
Madison turns to the girls, "Aaron just asked Amara out."
"Finally. I thought he would never ask," Josephine says.
Amara blushes and says, "Well um, I could use your help. I have never been on a date before and I want to look my best. You know."
"Say no more sugar. We can video phone so we can help you choose some nice clothes and jewelry to wear," Madison says.
"Thanks," Amara says.
"Okay. Make sure you have a good time with your boyfriend," Madison says.
"See you," Amara happily says, and hangs up the phone.
She calms herself down and finishes dinner for herself and Roy. She places a slice of cheese on their burgers. Then put the burgers on the buns that's been coated with mayonnaise, and the french fries in a bowl and sprinkle salt on it. She puts the burgers on separate plates and places them on different sides of the table as she puts the bowl of fries in the center. Then pour lemon-lime soda in the glasses and place them on the table.
Amara calls out, "Roy. Dinner's ready."
"Coming," Roy says, and heads to the table to have dinner.
Amara sits with Roy at the table and is having their dinner. She is very excited about her date with Roy, but is very concerned about one thing. That one thing is Blitz. She remembers Moxxie explaining to her about Blitz's history of stalking them or finding them outside of work. There is no way Amara is going to let Blitz know anything about this, so she decides to keep this her little secret.
Throughout the week, Amara has been doing her job at I.M.P, but also keeping her plans with Aaron a secret from the others, especially from Blitz. She informs Roy about it, and he promises to keep this from themselves. Still, Amara goes out to do some shopping with Roy at the district, and they manage to keep this a secret from blitz and the others. Amara is on video call with Madison and the others, and they give her some advice on the clothes, jewelry, and an idea for a style for her feathery hair. Plus, Amara has also been writing in her notebook in her room as she strums her guitar, for a little surprise.
Then, the day before the trip, everyone is in the I.M.P Office and it has been kind of slow. Amara is doing some paperwork with Moxxie and she is holding a calm smile on her face. Roy and Loona are playing a game on the computer and Millie is having a snack.
Blitz, who is looking at his phone, is bored and says, "So what are your plans this weekend?"
"Well, Moxxie and I are going out for dinner tomorrow tonight," Millie happily says.
"That sounds boring if you ask me," Blitz says.
Moxie firmly says, "Well, it's going to be just Millie and Me so we get to choose what we do."
"Whatever," Blitz says, shrugging his shoulders.
Then turns to Loona, "So Loonie, what are your plans?"
"Just doing stuff that is none of your business," Loona says.
"Alright," Blitz replies.
Then turns to Amara and Roy, "What about you kids?"
Amara and Roy look at each other and remember their little secret.
Roy answers, "Well, I'm going to spend the day with Octavia this weekend."
"Um yeah. I have to run a few errands," Amara says.
"Errands? What kind of errands?" Blitz asks.
Amara sighs and says, "Is it really something for you to know about? I'm just going to go out and do some stuff, and that's it."
Amara turns to Roy and asks, "Are you ready to head home?"
"Yeah," Roy happily says.
Roy and Amara grab their bags and leave the office to head home.
Blitz arches his eyebrow and asks, "Is it just me, or is Amara acting weird this week?"
"Well sir, it's obvious that Amara wants to keep her personal stuff to herself. And she has the right. You don't have the right to know everything about her personal life," Moxxie says.
"Maybe, but I have to admit, earlier while Moxxie and I were at the mall, she was on her phone as she picked out some clothes. I think she was talking to someone," Millie says.
"And she keeps humming an annoying tune as she helps Moxxie with the paperwork. She is being so weird," Loona says, rolling her eyes.
"I don't see the problem. I don't mind whistling a tune when she cleans up her gears," Moxxie says.
"But does it also occur to you that she's been wearing her feather hair down. She usually has her in a ponytail, and she's been strumming a lot more with that guitar and writes in that notebook. Like she is very focused on something. Not to mention, she hasn't been fully focused on her job," Blitz says.
Millie then wonders, "You think she has something else going on."
"Well, I think we should find out," Blitz says.
"Sir, I don't think Amara will appreciate you trying to stalk her during her personal life. Unless you want her to throw you in the dumpster again," Moxxie says.
"Alright one: Do not remind me. And second: I'm not doing this alone, you, Millie, and Loonie are coming with me," Blitz says.
"Sounds fun," Millie says.
Loona shrugs her shoulders, "Whatever."
"This is going to end badly," Moxie says with a groan.
Early the next day, Amara flies in the air with Roy in her arms, and with a backpack with some stuff the little Imp is going to need. Amara flies to a small balcony and lands on it. Then places Roy on the ground.
Amara knocks on the window door and hears Octavia's voice, "Coming."
The door opens to reveal Octavia who is all dressed, and is actually looking less depressed.
"Hey Amara, here to drop off Roy," Octavia says.
"You know it. Thanks for watching him for the day," Amara says.
"It's no problem. Well, I actually like having Roy around. It's a good distraction from the fights my parents have," Octaiva says.
"Still going at it?" Amara asks.
"Yep," Octaiva says.
Roy turns to Amara, "I hope your day goes well."
"Thanks Roy," Amara says.
She gently pats his head and says, "Be a good boy and behave for Octavia. Make sure you eat your meals, ask if you need anything, and I'll be back late tonight."
"Okay," Roy says.
Amara levitates herself in the air, "And don't forget to have fun. Bye."
"Bye," Roy says.
Amara then flies back to her apartment and goes into her bedroom. Seeing that it's 7:15 in the morning, Amara works fast, she takes a quick shower, dry and preen her feathers. She fixes her feathery hair so it won't be in a ponytail, but down and a little stylish. She then puts on black tights, a jean skirt with loop de loop patterns on the ends with black tights under it. She is also wearing a red well dressed button up shirt with a pocket on the right side of the chest, and a blue ascot under the collar of the shorts. She puts on her special pendant, a braided bracelet, and wears a black hat with a rose on it that has a gem band around it. She then grabs her handbag and looks at herself in the mirror.
"There. I'm all ready," Amara says.
Suddenly, she hears the door knocking. Amara calls out, "Coming!"
Amara walks over and opens the door as she grabs her guitar. There she sees Aaron. Aaron is wearing a white white t-shirt with a black jacket, blue jeans with a brown belt, black boots, and has a backpack. Aaron and Amara look at each other and are blushing a little bit.
"Hi Aaron," Amara says.
"Hey Amara, you… you look great," Aaron says.
Amara blushes and says, "Thanks. You look great too."
"Thanks. We uh, better get going. We should get there before the park opens," Aaron says, embarrassed.
"Yeah," Amara says.
The pair soon leave the apartment and go inside Aaron's truck. The truck has two row seats that can fit six people and a long trunk that has wooden bars on it, and it has four wheels too. Aaron opens the passenger side and Amara climbs inside, and Aaron closes the door. Aaron goes to the driver seat and closes the door. The two buckle their seat belts, and Aaron inserts his eye and turns on the car.
"Ready to go?" Aaron asks.
"Yeah," Amara happily answers.
Aaron then begins to drive the truck away from the apartment and towards Lu Lu Land for their special day together, just the two of them. However, unknown to the pair, they've been beaten by Blitz and the others who have been hiding in the company van that is in an alley.
"Well well, looks like Amara and Aaron are going out somewhere," Blitz says.
"Aww, that is very sweet. Amara and Aaron are going on a date," Millie happily says.
Moxie turns to Blitz, "So remind me why we decided to spy on Amara?"
"Because she was hiding something from us and I have the right to know. And now that we know, we're going to spy on their little date of theirs," Blitz answers.
"Excuse me… WHAT?!" Moxie asks, shocked in disbelief.
"What? I want to see how those two are doing on their date and as her fellow employees, we have to make sure no mistakes happen," Blitz says.
Moxxie facepalms his forehead, "I don't even want to know what you're thinking."
"Are you sure that's a good idea, Blitz?" Millie asks.
"I have to agree. Amara will not like it if you interfere with her and who she decides to be with," Moxxie says.
Typing on her phone, Loona says, "Yeah. I'm going to have to agree with the Imp couple on this one. Remember the last time you decided to invade her personal privacy?"
Blitz groans and says, "Don't remind me. I've never seen her that mad and she practically chased me all over the city."
"Yeah. Not to mention she caught you and got you stuck in a hogtie," Loona adds.
Moxxie and Millie cover their mouths and try their best not to laugh.
"Okay, let's just drop it," Blitz says, rolling his eyes.
Then begins to drive the car, "Let's go find the two love birds and see how their date goes."
Moxie mutters, "This is going to end badly."
Sometime later, Aaron drives the car to Lu Lu World which is a large amusement park. There is a large darkish castle that seems to have trees, and a lot of different rides, game booths, attractions, and food places. Since they are able to ride early, Aaron and Amara soon arrive in Aaron's truck. As they arrived, the park opened not long ago.
"Wow. This place looks amazing, I've never been to Lu Lu World before," Amara says.
Then turns to Aaron, "This is exciting."
"Yeah. And I'm very happy to be spending the day with you," Aaron says.
"Me too," Amara happily says.
"Come on, let's head to the gate before the line starts," Aaron says.
With that, Amara and Aaron head over to the gate to get into the park. However, close behind and hiding in the bushes close by, Blitz and the others see Amara and Aaron heading to the park.
"Aww, they're going to Lu Lu World. That's so romantic," Millie says with hearts in her eyes.
"Huh, guess they're going to have fun on this trip," Loona says.
Then Moxxie says, "Alright, so we saw where we're going now, let's go before they notice us."
"What? Why would you want to leave? We just started," Blitz asks.
"Because Amara and Aaron are going to see us. They're not going to be happy about this when they find out," Moxxie says.
"I got that covered, Mox. Now come, let's go before we lose them," Blitz says, and heads to the gate.
Millie and Loona follow them.
Moxie reluctantly follows, but also mutters, "Urgh fuck."
Soon enough, Amara and Aaron enter the park and begin to look around.
"Wow. This place is even bigger than Loo Loo Land," Amara says.
"Yeah. I've been to both with my parents, and this place is a lot better," Aaron says.
"Trust me, I remember you and me going there with our friends once, and one of my experiences there… It was awful. At least I don't have to see that creepy clown, Robotic Fizzarolli," Amara says.
"Yeah. I remember you telling me your first experience left a bad impression on you," Aarons says.
"You have no idea," Amara says with a sigh.
Then asks, "So what do you wanna do first? I really like to go check out the rides."
"Yeah. Let's go. There are some cool rides for you to see," Aaron says.
The two then begin to walk around the park to head to the first ride with Blitz and the others not far behind. And to make sure Amara and Aaron don't recognize them, they hurry to the nearest store to buy some clothes and other stuff to disguise themselves.
Soon, Amara and Aaron are now in line for a large roller coaster called 'Lawsuit.' Luckily, the line isn't long so they don't have to wait this long. Aaron and Amara are excited to get on the roller coaster.
"Wow. This roller coaster is a lot bigger than the one at Loo Loo Land," Amara says.
"Sure looks like it," Aaron says.
Amara says, "Still, I'm very excited about going on the roller coaster. I just know that…"
However, Amara stops to notice four familiar figures wearing hats, sunglasses, covered clothes, and such. And yet, it doesn't help that Amara knows who they are. What's more, they're also in the same line to get on the ride.
Amara turns back to Aaron with a small frown on her face.
Aaron notices, "What's wrong?"
Amara whispers, "Sorry about this Aaron, but I think I should have warned you about a little… problem."
"What problem?" Aaron asks.
Suddenly, they hear someone shouting, "Next."
"Oh, looks like we're next," Aaron says.
"Cool, let's go!" Amara says, feeling excited.
However, is worried about who she has seen. Aaron and Amara walk to the third car of the roller coaster ride and the rest of the attendees get on the ride. Blitz and Loona along with Moxxie and Millie sit in the back cars, much to Moxxie's dismay, considering what happened back at Loo Loo Land. Aaron and Amara sit down and the ride starts and begin to climb up the steep hill of the tracks. When the ride goes up the hill it soon begins to travel towards a steep downhill. Just then, it goes down at top speed. The two teens and everyone else on the ride scream with excitement. They go up, down, around, and loop de loop. Soon, the ride stops at the station and the ride comes to a stop. Once the ride comes to a stop, everyone climbs out of the ride and either laughs with excitement or frightened that their skin can turn white. Aaron and Amara climb out of the ride as well.
"That was really fast!" Amara says.
"I know! I love roller coasters!" Aaron says.
Amara says, excitedly, "Let's go on another one."
"Yeah. There's this cool drop ride close by," Aaron says.
The two then run off together with excitement. The rest of the I.M.P crew comes out of the ride, but Moxxie rushes to the trash can and starts throwing up in it. Millie walks over to comfort him.
"Come on fam, we're going to lose them," Blitz says.
Millie turns to Moxxie, "Uh yeah, I don't think Moxxie is fit to continue, you go on ahead."
"Fine," Blitz says.
Then walks away, "Come on Loonie."
"Whatever, but I still think Amara is going to notice us, despite our disguise," Loona says, walking with Blitz.
"We'll see you later," Millie says.
Millie continues to comfort Moxxie as he vomits in the trash can.
Meanwhile, Amara and Aaron continue to have their fun as they go on the rides. They go ride on the bumper cars and are having a blast. Of course, Blitz and Loona are in there as well. Amara then drives the bumper cars to hit Blitz's car from behind. Then have fun with Aaron. They also ride on a tilt-a-whirl ride, and then a scamper ride, along with other rides with fun attractions. And through it all, Blitz and Loona continue to follow them to spy on them and to make sure no 'mistakes' have been made.
After going on the rides, Aaron and Amara head to see some of the gaming booths at a certain section of the park. The first place they stop at is a balloon popping section.
"Step right up! Pop three balloons and win a prize!" The vendor calls out.
Aaron walks over and says, "I'll give it a go." and pays the vendor some money.
Then the vendor gives him three darts. Aaron takes them and throws the darts one at the time, and all three balloons pop.
"Dang, got some good skills there, man! You just won yourself a Thing!" The Vendor says, and gives him the 'Thing.'
It kind of looks like the same stuffed toy from Loo Loo Land.
Aaron then passes to Amara, "Here you go. It's for you."
"Thanks Aaron," Amara says, taking the doll and hugs it.
Aaron chuckles and says, "So like you, you're tough, but you also have a soft side."
"Hey! Am not!" Amara says, and puffs her cheeks.
"I didn't mean it was a bad thing," Aaron says.
Then says, "Come on, let's see if there's any more games we can play."
Aaron and Amara head off to enjoy their day. Of course, Blitz and Loona are not far behind. Millie and Moxxie join them later on as Aaron and Amara play some games. They even play a shooting game, which Amara won with ease. They also shoot some baskets. One of the basketballs bounces off the rim and ends up smacking Moxxie in the face by mistake. They also play a water squirting game, and have all kinds of fun.
After the many games and rides they go on, the dating couple are having lunch for the day.
"I'm really having a great time, Aaron. Thanks for inviting me here," Amara says.
"It's no trouble. I'm really glad you're able to come. I really wanted to come today," Aaron says.
"And why's that?" Amara asks.
Aaron chuckles and says, "You'll have to wait until tonight."
Then asks, "So, how are things going in Imp City. The business hasn't become boring yet?"
"No. It's been good. We've been getting a few kills, even from those in the human world and hell. Some of them were hard and well, the humans can be a bit crazy. But still, despite the difficulties, I've managed to do well. Roy has been doing fine and been doing well at his school. We were very happy there, and the others were good to be with. Despite a lot of the hitches," Amara explains.
Then begins to feel uncomfortable and looks down feeling sad.
"What's wrong, Amara? You don't look so good," Aaron asks.
Amara weakly smiles and says, "It's nothing, just a little tired from work."
Aaron narrows his eyes and says, "I'm having trouble believing you. You kind of make the same face when something's bothering you and you have trouble answering."
"Yeah. I knew you would notice. Just recently, I had an incident," Amara sadly says.
"Go on," Aaron says, concerned.
"I've told you this because I didn't want you to worry, but there was this odd Imp called Mirage, and twice that freak cross dressing Imp tried to capture me. He and his weird crew even trashed the office, it took weeks to get the office fixed up. And after the little incident with those demon hunting loons, Mirage kidnapped me from my apartment," Amara says.
"He what?! He didn't hurt you?!" Aarron asks, shocked.
"I don't know if hurt is the appropriate word, but more like bite and mentally scar me by shooting me," Amara says, as she groans as she places her hands on her face.
"He bit you? And shot you?" Aaron asks.
"Yeah. It's weird. I mean, I know Imps can bite people because of his sharp teeth, but this Mirage sucked my blood, like one of those vampires that human sinners talk about," Amara explains.
Aaron scratches his chin and says, "An imp sucking blood? I never heard of an Imp being able to do that before."
"Me either. Mirage did the same thing to me again and had these off cuffs that are made by angelic weapons that prevent me from using much of my abilities. And well, I managed to escape, but um…" Amara says, but remains silent.
Amara then lowers her head a bit and turns away. Aaron can see the fear in Amara's eyes and has deep sadness. Aaron then places his hand on Amara's left cheek and gently turns it for her to face him. There, Amara sees a kind and gentle smile on his face.
Then says, "You can trust me, Amara."
"Thanks Aaron," Amara sadly says.
She takes a deep breath and explains, "You see, when I tried to escape, Mirage was able to corner me and well… he shot me with an angelic weapon… and I… really flipped out…"
Aaron eyes wide in shock, "He shot you with an angelic weapon?! How… how the fuck did he manage to get something like that?!"
"I don't know. Being shot with that weapon again, it made me freak out. I nearly went into shock since, you know…" Amara says, frightened.
"Since the incident with your parents," Aaron adds.
Amara sadly nods her head, "Uh huh."
"Trust me, I remember it all too well…" Aaron says, narrowing his eyes bitterly.
Flashback: Six Years Ago
Since the incident with her parents and after being treated by the doctors of the clinic, Amara is laying in the bed of the guest room that belongs to Aaron's family, who offer to provide Amara with medical care and shelter until she is back to full strength. Aaron holds Amara's claws while Eda is holding baby Roy in her arms. There are also two grown bat demons similar to Aaron.
The first one is a female that has long elegant black hair, light gray skin, and crimson red eyes. She is wearing a western style outfit: A white long sleeve button up shirt with a jabot tie that has a purple gemstone on it, long black skirt and boots. The woman is Aaron's mother, Juniper Chandra.
The second bat demon is male. He has white hair and a slightly darker gray skin and purple color eyes. He is wearing a red button up shirt with a black vest, and black necktie, dark blue jeans with a brown belt, and gold buckle, and cowboy brown boots. He is Aaron's father, Jace Chandra.
There is also another demon that is a Hellcat with black fur all over his body and green color eyes. He is wearing a white button shirt with a black vest, jacket, and black pants with black boots, and has a black ribbon neck tie, and cowboy hat. He is actually Josephine's father, Dustin.
Dustin asks, "An Angelic weapon?"
"Yes. I remember one of them is holding an angelic weapon because of the glowing white pattern on the black gun. They barged into our home and well, they attacked us…" Amara says, sounding very weak.
"Yes. We have some witnesses who heard gunshots from a short distance. Do you have any reason why" Dustin questions.
"I… I'm afraid I don't remember. I… I don't even remember what they look like, especially the one with that weapon. I tried to stop him, but he shot me with that weapon and I was badly hurt. Pa told me to get us up stares while he held them off. Ma told us to a special room that was in the house and hid us in there. She let me hold Roy, and closed the door to help pa," Amara explains.
Tears began to fall from her face, "There were… multiple gun shots from downstairs. I was so frightened I was clutching onto Roy and my pain. When the noise stops, and footsteps go around the house, I remain quiet the best that I could. When he heard no noise, I thought no one was around, but worried to come out in case they're there. That's when I decided to come out, despite my wound, and walked down stars. And then…" and soon begins to shed more tears.
Aaron holds Amara's hand in concern, "Amara…"
Dust finishes writing the statement and says, "Alright, we'll do our best to look into it, although, there isn't much we can do."
"I'm sorry Mr. Wade, I only wish I could remember more about what happened, or what they look like," Amara says.
"Do not worry. It's understandable that you've gone into a deep shock from the incident, so it's no surprise that your memories were repressed from the shock. Still, it's rather odd for Imps to require those kinds of weapons, I'll do my best to look into it," Dustin says.
Jace walks to Dustin and says, "We'll be in touch Mr. Wade."
The two then shake hands and the two demon men leave the room. Amara then begins to cry as Aaron pulls her to a hug to comfort her.
Flashback Ends:
Aaron's face looks serious and says, "I can never erase the memory of what happened, and how broken you were. I've been helping Dustin work on this and try to figure more about the incident. You also remember the promise I made once you're better?"
"Yes. I do," Amara answers.
Aaron nods his head, "I promised you that I'll do whatever it takes to figure out who did it, and make them pay for what they did. You're my best friend, and I'll do whatever I can to help you. If you know anything, maybe I can help you."
"Thanks Aaron, I'm actually going to need all the support I can get, especially what Mirage said," Amara says.
"What did he say?" Amara asks.
"Mirage… he… he knows my parents names. He even said their names. And he said his boss, who he called Orpheus, wanted me for my power, ability and beauty. And said that he has wanted me for a long time, and… he'll do whatever he can to get what he wants," Amara explains.
Aaron becomes stunned to hear this. This guy, Mirage, knows her parents name and this guy Orpheus seems to want Amara for some reason and will do anything to get it.
"Amara are you saying that…" Aaron asks.
Amara sadly says as she wipes the tears from her face, "Yes. Mirage and this boss Orpheus knows more about me and my parents. They might be the key to knowing what happened to my parents. They might be the reason why my parents were killed for all I know."
Aaron hugs Amara as the poor owl girl whips on his shoulder
"It's okay Amara. It's going to be alright. I can talk to Dustin and see if he can look into it. You can even give a description on this Mirage. If what you're saying is true, he might be the key to your parents death," Aaron says.
Then Amara asks, as she lifts her head to face him "What about this Orpheus?"
"Well, I never heard of him before, but maybe my parents have an idea," Aarons says.
He then wipes the tears from Amara's face, "And I'll do what I can to help. I did promise I'll do whatever I can to help you find your parents' murderers."
"Thanks Aaron. You're the bestest friend I've ever had. You've always been with me through everything," Amara says, happily.
Aaron smiles, "Yeah, but you've also been there for me as well."
"Thank you, Aaron," Amara says.
Then asks, "And um, can you also help me out with something?"
"What's that?" Aaron asks.
Aamra leans to Aaron and whispers to him, "I'm sorry about this, but my boss has decided to get the others involved in our date. I should have known Blitz would find out."
"Your boss?" Aaron whispers, confused.
Then Amara whispers, "Blitz has the habit of stalking me and sneaks into my apartment. He does the same thing to Moxxie and Millie. He's really annoying when he does it. Plus, he has dragged the others into it."
Aaron and Amara turn their eyes to see Blitz and the others in not very good disguises.
Aaron whispers to her, "I might have an idea on how to get them off our backs."
"What do you have in mind?" Amara asks.
"You'll see," Aaron says and winks with a smile on his face.
Amara smiles, knowing she can trust him.
Soon enough, Amara and Aaron find themselves in front of a large Haunted House.
"The Haunted House?" Amara says, confused.
Then whispers, "How is that going to help us get rid of them?"
"You'll see, just trust me on this one," Aaron says.
"Alright, I trust you," Amara says.
Amara and Aaron begin to walk into the haunted house. And right on cue, Blitz and the others take a peek as they walk to the Haunted House.
"A Haunted House? Why go in there?" Millie asks.
"Well, what some do on dates, is to get a girl scared so she'll cling on to her boyfriend," Blitz says.
"I don't think that's going to do the same with Amara," Loona says.
Moxxie sighs, "I still think we should call off this stalking. Amara and Aaron are going to be displeased about it."
"Come on, we're doing good so far, and we're not going to stop. Come on, let's go follow them," Blitz says.
The group then head to the Haunted House, and Moxxie follows with a guilty expression on his. Amara and Aaron are the first to enter the house as they see the entrance head's eyes looking down on them. Then they both enter the house.
"Hmm, that doesn't look scary," Aaron says, looking at the first display.
Amara looks and is surprised to see a mermaid that has red skin and black hair. It has a white fish tail and white shell covering a D cup breast. Soon, the water drains from the cool.
"What a pretty mermaid," Amara says.
Suddenly, the face changes to a fighting and ugly feature like a sea witch and spray water at them. The two laugh and scream in fright as they get wet. Blitz and the others enter the house to see the mermaid and spray them too. Soon, the separate groups continue on to see frightening shadows and figures flying around. There are even some flying dishes heading at them, or at least around them. Aaron and Amara are still walking in the haunted house, and turn their eyes to see the disguised group are still following them.
Aaron smirks and says, "I think it's time for us to pull our little trick on them."
Amara snickers with a grin, "Yeah. Time for a little payback."
Aaron opens the door and says, "Come on. I think this is the perfect place for us to go to."
The couple then enter inside and the door closes by itself. Aaron and Amara look at each other and ready for their hoax.
Meanwhile, Blitz and the others are heading towards the same door.
"You think they headed in there?" Millie asks.
"I remember them coming in here," Blitz says, and opens the door.
With that, he and his colleagues and daughter walk inside. The two then walk around as they try to find the couple.
"Where the fuck did they go? Are you sure they came in this room?" Loona asks.
"I could have sworn they did," Blitz says.
Suddenly, they begin to hear strange sounds, almost like growling sounds. Millie and Moxxie hug each other in fright.
Millie asks, frightened, "Wha-what was that?!"
Calm down Mills, it's just some cheap ass junk they do in haunted houses. It is supposed to scare people. Suddenly, the lights begin to flicker on and off rapidly as animated objects like candle holders, plates, cups, tea pots, and other stuff begin floating in the air. The objects begin flying around like crazy. One even strikes Loona on the head, causing her to fall to the ground.
"Fuck! What the hell is going on?" Loona asks.
Suddenly, four chairs fly towards the I.M.P Crew and force them to take a seat. Then, the chairs fly all over the place with the Imps and Hellhound on it. They all also scream in fright and the chairs drop them to the ground.
"What's going on?" Moxie asks, frightened.
"I'm getting a really bad feeling about this," Blitz says.
Suddenly, Millie and Loona scream in fright. Blitz and Moxxie turn to see the two girls shaking.
"What's wrong with you two?" Blitz asks.
"What is it?" Blitz asks.
"There were… red eyes…." Millie says, frightened.
"And I think there's a dark figure," Loona says.
Blitz and Moxxie along with the others turn to hear maniacal laughter. They soon have fear on their faces to see a giant monstrous bat like demon with glowing red marks all over its body, large ears, and big sharp fangs approaching them with sharp claw feet. The demon lets out a monstrous roar in anger. With that, the four let out a scream in fear that can be heard outside of the Haunted House. Soon, they run away screaming like they've seen a ghost. In fact, they run away out of the park like scared little girls.
In the haunted house, the monster bat demon shrinks down to reveal Aaron.
He clears his throat and says, "Alright Amara, you can come out now."
Amara walks out and with her arms lifted, she uses her magic to place the objects and the chairs down on the ground.
"Now that was really cool," Amara says.
Soon the two begin laughing with grins. They can imagine that they scared Blitz and the other so bad that they're probably not going to be coming back anytime soon.
After practically scaring Blitz and the others away, Amara and Aaron continue to spend the rest of the day and into the night. Before the park closes, Amara and Aaron decide to go on one last ride together. A large Ferris wheel with color lights that changes its patterns frequently. The young couple are sitting in one of the passenger cars as it rides to the top of the Ferris Wheel.
"Thanks for helping me get rid of our little stalkers," Amara says
"It's no trouble. I can understand why you were a little skeptical to tell me sooner. I'm okay with your boss, but he could try to respect someone's privacy," Aaron says.
"Yeah. I actually threw him out of my house multiple times and he still won't quit," Amara says.
"Talk about persistent," Aaron says.
"Yeah," Amara replies.
Soon, the two begin laughing with smiles on their faces.
Amara asks with a grin, "So, why did you choose this specific day to go out together?"
"Well, I know we don't think too much about it and such, like an anniversary, but today is the day that you and I actually first met, the day we first became friends. And the day I gave you your nickname, MarMar," Aaron says.
Amara blushes and says, "Yeah. You're right, but that happened when we were kids. And make sure my colleagues don't know that. Blitz will call me that endlessly."
"I can picture it," Aaron says.
He then brings out a box, "By the way, I got you a little something."
Amara takes it and opens it. To her surprise, it's a red cactus flower, but it's face, and it has a yellow gem inside. The flower is also attached to a black bracelet.
"Oh Aaron, it's beautiful. You even remember my favorite flower," Amara says.
"Somehow I knew you loved it," Aaron says.
Then Aaron takes the bracelet out of the box and offer's Amara's claw. Amara allows Aaron to put the bracelet on and the young owl girl loves it.
Amara then brings out her guitar and says, "I actually have a present myself."
With that, Amara begins to play her guitar.
Amara:
We're far apart in every way
But you're the best part of my day
Flashback: Months ago
Amara is sitting in her apartment until she receives a letter. She opens it and smiles to see that it's from Aaron with a picture of him and the others. That makes Amara smile.
Amara:
And sure as I breathe the air
I know we are the perfect pair
Flashback: Months ago
Aaron soon receives and opens it to see his letter to Amara. To his laughter he sees a crazy picture of Amara and Roy with Blitz and the others.
Amara:
On a prickly path that goes on for miles
Flashback: 9 Years Ago
Young Aaron is walking down the path with his parents and turns his head to see young Amara in the field, picking vegetables with her parents, Jake and Cassandra. As young Amara picks the vegetables and puts them in the basket, she turns to see young Aaron. The young friends happily wave to each other with smiles.
Amara:
But it's worth it just to see you smile
Flashback: 7 Years Ago
Then the young friends are sitting at the table as they have some apple juice, and some corn.
Amara:
And I cannot be pulled apart
From the hold you have on my heart
Flashback: 6 Years Ago
Months after the death of her parents, Aaron has been helping her with her rehabilitation for her mental and physical help. Even though her friends help with the process, but Aaron is the one who helps her the most.
Amara:
And even if the world tells us it's wrong
You're in my head like a catchy song
Amara then collapses to the ground and falls on her wound. Aaron helps her up and the two look at each other. The two give each other smiles on their faces.
Flashback Ends:
As Amara strums her guitar, Aaron is amazed and says, "Wow. It's just... wow."
"Do you like it? Be honest now," Amara asks.
"It's the best gift you could've given me!" Aaron happily answers.
Amara then continues the next verse of the song.
Amara:
The seasons change and leaves may fall
But I'll be with you through them all
During Amara's life in the Wrath Ring, Aaron and Amara walk together with smiles on their faces. They look up to see the hot hell sun starting to increase.
Amara:
And rain or shine, you'll always be mine
During one of the hotter days, Aaron takes Amara to a Salon where they hang out with their friends, and have some root beer.
Amara:
On a prickly path that goes on for miles
You're the only one who makes it all worthwhile
Then, in the barn where a dance takes place, Aaron and Amara dance together. They dance with their hands together as their faces lean close together.
Amara:
And you should not blame me, too
If I can't help fallin' in love with you...
Amara then stops singing and covers her mouth in shock. She actually never meant for that verse to be part of the song. Aaron is also surprised that Amara sings. The two then look at each other with their cheeks red. They soon look at each other and smile. They both lean to each other as Aaron wraps his arm around Amara's shoulder.
After a long day and evening at the park, Aaron and Amara pick up Roy from the Goetia mansion and the two arrive in Amara's apartment. Amara puts Roy to bed because he's already asleep.
Amara smiles and says, "Thanks you for a wonderful time Aaron."
"It's no problem. I'm glad that we're able to spend time together, just like we used too," Aaron says.
"I'm very glad. I hope we can hang out again, and with the others too," Amara says.
"Yeah. Let's do that," Aaron says.
Amara smiles and feels that she can't hold back her feelings anymore. Aaron feels that he can't hold back his feelings either. The two lean to each other and give each other a passionate kiss. Soon, their lips pull apart from each other and are surprised to find out they kissed.
They both say, "Oh my god!"
However, they smile again and give each other another passionate kiss, and their love is starting to fully bloom between them.
