Anonymous asked: no humanity caroline chilling in klaus' room/studio and the others questioning why klaus isn't screaming bloody murder
"You've caused quite the stir, love."
Caroline shrugged, only to smirk at the small growl of warning for moving too much. "Don't try to tell me I'm the first girl looking for a hookup, I won't believe you."
Barely glancing up from the canvas, Klaus scowled at whatever he was painting, though she knew it was really directed at her. "As if I would underestimate you in any capacity," he grumbled. "Though I argue against being considered a mere hookup."
"It is what it is," she replied in that bright tone of hers. "I guess I could leave and settle in somewhere else. You wouldn't have to worry about me, and future me won't have to deal with your hurt feelings whenever I flip the switch back on. Do you have any tips for Miami?"
But before she could bounce off the couch and carry out the plans already forming in her mind, Klaus flashed over to settle her back into her pose, his hand warm on her bare shoulder. "My feelings can take it, I assure you. Stop moving, please."
Her smile sharpened predatorily. "Gonna tie me up if I don't?"
His answering smirk revealed a wicked dimple as he walked back to the easel. "Tempting, but I want to finish."
"Oh, you'll finish." It wouldn't hurt to get him started, though, and her hand slowly moved lower down her torso. This was more how she expected their little art session to go when she first stripped in his studio, despite his stubborn insistence he actually paint her. Tracing the line of her hipbone, she felt sheer pleasure at the dark look he gave her, full of want. Without fear of consequences, it was amazingly easy to enjoy her time with him. "Hurry up, and I'll help you."
Rather than staring at her hand as it moved lower still, Klaus met her eyes with a surprising tenderness. "I'm happy to take my time, sweetheart.
If her heart beat a bit harder and she clenched her teeth onto her tongue to hide a gasp, that was her business. She was going to get her year with no regrets, and like hell was his humanity allowed to bring hers back. To distract herself — and hopefully him — she rolled her hips up to meet her fingers. "Don't mind me, then, I'll keep myself entertained."
"Stop moving," he reminded her.
Caroline let her fangs drop, her monster's face challenging as she bit her lip to taste blood. She knew coming here was a good idea. "Make me."
