(A/N)Hello!
I am super excited to share with you this chapter! There's gonna be so many fun moments, and some emotional ones too.
With that out of the way, here is chapter 4 of season 1!
First Person POV (Kaira)
A lot had changed since we finished taking down Fletcher Maxwell. Hardison left to do his humanitarian work. I was sad and missing him. Breanna and Harry stayed.
Before Hardison left, he told me that he had enrolled Sophia and Nathaniel in second grade, and Eli in Kindergarten at a local school. And he also had rooms made for us and the kids. And he had a few spare rooms for if we had guests, or if Riley came over. Of course, the son of a bitch would make sure we were taken care of before leaving.
I wasn't mad at Hardison for leaving. I knew why he needed to. Doesn't mean it didn't suck. Once we were all settled, it was nice. I loved New Orleans! And the company was nice too.
One day, while Parker was giving Breanna a lesson on lifts, I was in the main restaurant, trying to get the kids calmed down cause someone (Parker and Breanna) let them get in the stash of sweets. So we were running around, playing tag, hoping/praying it would tucker them out for nap time later. Eliot was getting some groceries.
I saw Parker and Breanna walking up the steps, Breanna complaining her hand was numb cause Parker put numbing cream on the bells on the outfit she was wearing. Breanna wanted to do more, saying Hardison didn't get to stay in the van.
"Bre, it took a long time before Eliot and I unlocked the doors!" I called up to her, as they were now on the balcony.
"And I still worry about him." Parker told Breanna.
Sophie walked by as I got tackled by three hyper monsters.
"Got you mamma!" They all exclaimed.
I started roaring and tickling them.
"And I'm headed to a client intake." Sophie told us.
"Ooh! Ooh! Ooh! Okay, just give me a second." Parker got excited.
"As soon as I get these monsters off of me, I'll come too." I told Sophie.
"I'm taking our Mr. Wilson. It's his first." Sophie said.
I just kinda sat up, the kids hanging off of me.
"Well, since we've been our own, Kaira and I've been doing the…" Parker tried explaining.
"You're both busy. I got this." Sophie left.
Parker did her puppet thing with her hands. Breanna may have also fallen down.
"The numbness is in my legs!" Breanna exclaimed.
"The hell did you get that cream from, Parker?! Did Eliot give it to you?" I asked Parker.
She just told Breanna it would wear off eventually.
It was this weird limbo I was in. Cause I get why Sophie was taking the lead. She was grieving, and she needed control. And it wasn't like I could just tell her "Hey, Parker and I have been leading the team since you retired, and I know you're grieving, and we know this is helping you, but we're kinda upset you're just taking the lead without talking to us about it first." cause then that would make me the asshole, and that was the last thing I wanted to be. Well, at least to Sophie.
I focus back in after hearing Sophia ask "Are you okay, mamma?"
"Yes, my love. Sorry." I started smiling and moving a piece of hair from her face.
I then stood up, and the kids let go. We chased each other around more, which was a nice distraction. And Eliot joined in once he came home, much to our delight.
Third Person POV
Sophie and Harry went to the home of Lenore Petitpas and her 15-year-old granddaughter Ava. Someone had sent a goon, threatening to forcefully evict them from their home if they didn't pay up their loan.
Harry and Sophie were sitting at the table with Lenore and Ava, looking through the paperwork, glasses of sweet tea in front of them. Lenore said she didn't understand, and her granddaughter posted a message on Tik Tok (A/N Speaking of Tik Tok, follow me at MrsMarvel_27 for Kaira content, Supernatural content, Marvel content, and random videos! Oh god, please don't watch my videos John Rodgers. Not that they're embarrassing.) and they showed up.
Sophie explained it was more complicated, and explained how since Ava was looking for help, and Hardison had a computer program that looks for people who need help. Ava explained that she checked the clause the guy talked about, and said they could call the loan if they used the house as collateral. Harry said it was a good catch, but according to the paperwork they applied for a line of credit.
Ava argued she didn't, and it was a lie. Lenore told Ava to calm herself, and her grandfather built the house in 1901, and it survived the Depression, Katrina, and it would survive a paperwork error. Sophie noticed a large blue ball gown. Sophie told Lenore the dress as gorgeous, then asked if she made it. Lenroe said she made dresses for her daughter's, nieces, and now Ava's Sweet 16. Sophie said it was stunning and she was talented, saying she must have some designs. Lenore went to go get her sketchbook.
Ava told Harry and Sophie she didn't know how they were gonna have a Sweet 16 without a house, and it wasn't a paperwork error. She went onto explain that their neighbors left, one who got investigated by the tax board and his place seized in auction, and one got overrun with cockroaches and the house was condemned.
She was convinced someone was doing this. Harry explained if they could prove the application was fake, they could make whoever it is make a legitimate offer. Sophie explained to Harry it wasn't about the money. Harry realized they just wanted the house back.
They left soon after. Sophie told Harry he did well. Harry said it wasn't his first one, he was usually on the other side of the table.
First Person POV (Kaira)
Once Sophie and Harry returned, Breanna got her research done. Eliot and I got the kids upstairs to play so we could brief. Breanna was on the stage, and we were all at the table.
"Okay. So, Lenore and Ava Petitpa's loan got bought out by a shell company called - worst name ever - Clamshell Corp." Breanna explained.
Parker snorted. I just shook my head.
"Financing goes through this whole web, mostly in Eastern Europe so the trail's cold, but I was able to find out that the application for credit… never filed anywhere. It doesn't exist, except on one sheet of paper. Clearly they never thought anyone would look." Breanna explained.
We all looked at Breanna for more information.
"That's it? A shell company?" Eliot questioned.
"Mmm… Harry could have found that out." Parker pointed out.
"Sure, as a lawyer… oh, am I the low bar?" Harry realized.
We kinda indicated he was. I mean, he could do it easy.
"I asked you to follow the money." Sophie pointed out.
"I did! And I found out the application was fake." Breanna explained.
"Follow the money means you follow that shell company to the person who owns it, you figure out who benefits from Lenore and Ava losing their house and why. You figure out who could get a fake application into the file. I'm glad you figured out the application was fake, but if we're gonna do a con, we need all the information we can. Do you understand?" I explained to Breanna, trying to be nice about it.
"Well, whoever it is, is pulling strings at a very high level. They would have to have someone in City Hall in their pocket." Harry explained.
"Okay. Uh, I can find out who at City Hall is living above their means, and hack into the system, see who we're dealing with." Breanna explained.
Harry clicked his tongue and I nodded.
"Although, just a fair warning, some of these municipal systems are so old, they still run on COBAL, so I may have to crash the whole city network for a while." Breanna pointed out.
Eliot rubbed his face and Parker and I just shook our heads.
"You're gonna crash the whole city." Eliot said.
Sophie stood up and walked behind us.
"Okay." Sophie exhaled out.
"I said might." Breanna pointed out.
Sophie started walking to the steps.
"Breanna, find us our overspending city official. For the rest, we're gonna go old school. I'm thinking a Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolfe? " Sophie suggested.
"Oh hell no." I quickly put my finger to my nose.
Eliot, Parker, and Breanna did the same, leaving Harry the lone one. Parker started giggling as Harry realized he probably should've participated in noses goes. I feel a little bit bad for Harry.
Third Person POV
Harry and Sophie went to City Hall Bureau of Records. As they were walking to the suspected office, Sophie was explaining to Harry about grifting, and how it was about the emotion, not detail, and you draw from personal experience. Sophie reminded Harry he's been on the merry-go-round before. Harry asked how thorough that background check was on him.
Parker and Breanna were at the table, looking at Breanna's laptop. Kaira would be there, but her and Eliot were currently playing another game of tag since apparently, seven and five-year-olds don't run out of energy.
Breanna introduced them to Billy Barnes, the only city employee in the permits office with a new Benz and a condo in Aspen. Breanna added that whatever real estate corruption was happening, it likely flew through him.
Harry and Sophie entered the office. Sophie got into cover, telling Marlon, aka Harry, she wasn't gonna be fooled this time, putting on an exaggerated Southern accent, and accused him of hiding something. Billy boy asked what was going on, looking at Harry, which caused Sophie to quickly play the sexism card. Harry said him and his "wife" were divorcing.
Billy tried explaining that divorce petitions were down the hall, but Sophie cut him off, accusing "Marlon" of hiding assets, specifically a lien on a property he didn't disclose, and Billy could prove it. Harry just kept shaking his head no. Sophie said she wasn't moving until she proved what she knew. Billy asked what the address was, and Sophie told him, and gave Harry's alias. Billy revealed it wasn't.
Harry rubbed it a bit in Sophie's face. Sophie argued it wasn't possible. Harry told her he wasn't hiding anything. Then went into how maybe he worked too much, or never home, only cause he was working his fingers to the bone trying to give her the life she deserved. Cause all he ever wanted to do was love "Ilsa". Sophie was a bit taken back, but went back into cover, yelling it was too little too late, and she'd see him in her lawyer's office. They both left.
Sophie left a cell phone on Billy's desk. Harry was still hyped on the adrenaline. Sophie told Harry his merry-go-round was manic. Harry reminded Sophie she told him to draw from life experience and asked how many times she's been on the merry-go-round. Sophie told Harry she lost count of her marriages, but she only had one husband.
Breanna used the phone to try and pair it with Billy's phone so she could hear his phone calls, but she had a little problem. Parker told Breanna she could call Hardison, but Breanna dismissed the idea, and that Hardison had been blowing up her phone just checking in, assuring Parker she was fine and read the manuals. After getting a look from Parker, Breanna fessed up to only skimming through manuals one to three. Parker told her there were 15.
Over the laptop, a pearl was mentioned, piquing Parker's interest. Breanna finally got in, and another male voice on the other side of the phone call said they'd expand as planned. Breanna found who was on the other side of the phone call.
First Person POV (Kaira)
Finally, Eliot and I got the kids tuckered out enough so they would get ready for bed. This gave Eliot and I enough time for us to head to Breanna's briefing.
We were all at the table, and I was sitting on Eliot's lap. Breanna had his photo pulled up.
"Austin Chaudry. First-generation son of immigrants and single-term ex-congressman. Resigned after rumors circulated he took bribes." Breanna explained.
Sophie walked up on the stage.
"Chaundry's desperate to…" Sophie liked the stage aspect.
"... regain some sort of status." Sophie got loud.
We signaled for her to tone it down a bit.
"His parents were in the hospitality business, uh, well, until the IRS caught up with them, and now he's bought himself a riverboat casino, The Mississippi Pearl ." Sophie explained as Breanna pulled up the image of the riverboat.
"It's not a real pearl? Bummer." Parker complained.
"I kinda wanted to steal the pearl." I whined a bit.
"Oh, there's a pearl, girls, a big one, on display, on the boat. Think the gold nugget at The Golden Nugget!" Sophie exclaimed.
"Gold nugget!" Parker exclaimed, hitting Eliot in the chest.
"I wanna steal the pearl!" I exclaimed.
I just chuckled as Eliot stammered.
"I don't understand, why would he want to take Lenore and Ava's house?" Eliot asked.
I noticed Harry looking through his bag.
"Where the hell is it?" Harry asked out loud.
"Missing something?" Breanna perked up.
"The little thumb drive that's got my slides on it." Harry said.
"Gosh, maybe somebody stole it. Maybe somebody lifted it right…" Breanna searched her pockets.
I just lifted the drive and held it up.
"But I took it out of his pocket. What - what did you - how did you-?" Breanna kept questioning me, causing me to chuckle.
"I'm Kaira Spencer. Second rule of crime, always pay attention." I handed Breanna the drive.
"But…" Breanna grabbed the drive, confused.
"Well, if we're all done picking pockets, may we continue?" Harry asked.
"Please." Sophie gestured to Harry.
Sophie and Harry switched places.
"Riverboat casinos. Used to have to ride the river to be allowed to gamble, but now the law's all changed, so if you jump through the right hoops and you apply for a new gaming license, you can expand onto land. You can open a hotel, restaurant, whole complex." Harry explained.
"And according to Chaundry's bank records, he's put everything he has into that expansion, and then some." Breanna explained.
"If he fails to get the license, though, it's goodbye complex and hello bankruptcy." Eliot pointed out.
"Who decides if he gets the license?" I asked Harry.
"Lloyd Van Winkle, Gaming Commission. My firm had a few dealings with him. He actually, believe it or not, is about as honest as they come." Harry explained.
"So Chaudry can't bribe him for the license. He's gonna have to get it legitimately, and we're gonna have to stop him from doing that." Sophie explained.
"I got it. Get him on a misdemeanor. I looked it up. You can't hold a gaming license with one of those." Breanna explained.
Harry laughed.
"Uh, no. No, no, no, no, no." Harry walked up to the table.
"Uh, you see, people like the Chaudry's, they think that the laws don't apply to them because they usually don't. Back when he was accused of bribery, there were about a half dozen pending charges that just - poof! - disappeared." Harry explained.
"He's got some high-up pull somewhere. Misdemeanor would just disappear into the air." Eliot explained.
Breanna lowered her head.
"Hey, if it was any other mark, that would work. Good job finding that out." I gave Breanna a soft smile.
"We're gonna have to rob the vault." Sophie told us.
"Yes!" Parker exclaimed, smacking the table with her hands and turning around to face Sophie.
"Hell yes!" I turned the chair and got off of Eliot.
I felt him put his hand on my lower back.
"If a casino can't pay out at the end of the night, it violates their license." Eliot explained.
"And if he doesn't have his license, he loses the casino he has and bye-bye expansion." I had a wide smile on my face.
It's always fun to rob a vault.
"Uh… I assume it's rather difficult to rob a casino in general?" Harry questioned us.
I turned to face him and shrug my shoulders.
"Eh, kinda." Parker told him.
"Now you want to rob one on the river." Harry pointed out.
"Well, it's the same principle." I added.
"Fact is, if Chaudry gets his way, in one week, Lenore and Ava's home, and all the others, are gonna be bulldozed into a casino carpark." Sophie pointed out.
"And Ava and Lenore end up hauling their clothes in trash bags from couch to couch, which sucks." Breanna said.
She lowered her head again, and I shoot her a soft smile again.
"You got a plan?" Parker asked Sophie.
"Let's go steal a riverboat casino." Sophie said.
I smiled and heard Harry drumming before meeting us.
"You-you have to walk away when you- you gotta walk o-" Eliot tried telling Sophie before Parker just started moving Sophie.
We all left to start to plan a heist. This was right up my ally, as my uncle has a casino, which I may have learned how it ran, which is good for planning heists.
At one of our tables, we had the blueprints to the riverboat and held it down with beer mugs. We were gathered around. "Robbing a casino is never simple, as our Mrs. Spencer will explain." Sophie explained, nodding to me to go ahead.
"Even the seediest have top surveillance, precision shift changes, and eyes always are on the money." I explained.
"And how do you know this?" Harry asked.
"My uncle has a casino in New York. One of his more semi-legitimate businesses." I casually explained.
Harry just rolled with it.
"To do this properly, we're gonna have to cover every angle. Babe, you are gonna work the boat from the inside." I explained the plan, nodding to Eliot.
"We're also gonna need cover for when we break into the vault. And Chaudry's gonna provide it." I continued explaining.
"Curious as to how." Breanna questioned.
"The only thing that Chaundry's thinking about is the license, and the best way to control Chaudry is by convincing him he's got competition for it." I continued explaining.
"By getting to Van Winkle." Parker realized.
"Very good, Park." I shot her a quick smile.
"Breanna, we're gonna need an appointment at his office." I told Breanna.
"Well, Van Winkle doesn't do business at his office. No, if you want to get one on one with him the way Chaundry does, you should go to the gun club." Harry pointed out.
"How do you propose we infiltrate said gun club?" Sophie asked Harry.
"Well, it is members only, but fortunately, you have an in." Harry explained.
"Huh." Sophie muttered.
Eliot and Breanna went to get Eliot established inside the boat.
Which left Harry, me, Parker, and Sophie to head to the gun club. Harry was at the outside bar, listening to Chaudry. I was inside with Sophie, and Parker was getting to Van Winkle. Parker was playing Belle St. Claire, a southern belle with a hotel empire. Sophie was Valerie Davis, a whale hunter, and I was Trish Heart, an exclusive party planner. And Harry was himself.
Yeah, Parker playing the southern belle was interesting. She had flashcards, that Hardison helped make, to guide her, which actually worked, much to Sophie's confusion.
I moved outside and sat next to Harry, acting like we were chatting about some party. I overheard Parker telling Van Winkle they'd meet later to discuss gaming licenses. She really has grown with her long con abilities.
"Oh my goodness, Harry Wilson! And is that Trish Sweetheart herself?!" Parker exclaimed as we got up.
"Ahh! Belle, I thought that was you." Harry stood up and greeted Parker by kissing her cheeks.
"Ah, why isn't it the lovely Belle St. Claire!" I exclaimed, hugging Parker.
"Oh, stop it!" Parker hit my shoulder mockingly.
I didn't use an accent, as my low New York accent worked for the cover.
"Sazerac?" Harry questioned Parker, handing her a glass.
"You remembered." Parker told Harry.
"You are memorable." Harry told Parker.
"Now, Belle, about this party." I tried talking to Parker.
"Trishy! Please, that's your job." Parker acted dismissively.
I saw Sophie tapping on the glass.
"That's my secret weapon. Valerie Davis." Parker told us.
"You head about my party. Event of the season." Parker questioned Harry.
"I wouldn't miss it." Harry told Parker.
Then Sophie walked up to us.
"Oh, Valerie. Mmm." Parker called Sophie over.
"Thank you for meetin' me here. Now, the guest list is…" Parker tried telling Sophie.
"Uh, you're jumping the gun a bit, Belle. We have to agree on mine and Trish's fee first." Sophie told Parker.
"Oh. Walk with me. Do you shoot?" Parker walked with Sophie.
I stayed behind with Harry. We sat back at the bar, waiting for Chaudry to approach us.
"Excuse me. Congressman Austin Chaudry. Who was that woman you two were talking to?" Chaudry asked us.
"Oh, I didn't think there was a soul in New Orleans that didn't know Belle St. Claire. Kinda Miss Richer Than Midas." Harry told Chaudry.
Harry was also getting good. Chaudry pulled up "Belle's" Twitter account.
"Why can't I get verified?" He asked himself.
I tried not to react.
"Belle's traveled for years, looking after her family's hotel interests. Dubai, Tokyo. But now that her, uh, trust has matured, she's more interested in starting up a little gaming enterprise here at home." Harry told Chaudry as we walked to the railing.
"Gaming? What, she wants to put video poker machines in her hotels?" Chaudry asked us.
I chuckled.
"Belle thinks bigger than that. Try a whole casino complex. That's why she hired me and Valerie." I chuckled, sipping my drink.
"Could you introduce me?" Chaudry asked.
Harry smiled and nodded his head yes.
Third Person POV
Eliot went to his interview for the job of a security guard. He told Dennis, the one interviewing him, he wanted to slow down. Dennis told him a casino wasn't a slow place, and it was full of trouble.
Then Eliot saw a police cruiser on the shelf, so he started with an alias that he was a cop who got fired from the force, freaking Breanna out, as she didn't put that on his application. Though, Breanna did help Eliot. And Eliot got the job.
First Person POV (Kaira)
I had walked down to meet Sophie and Parker first. I heard Sophie tell Parker that if she didn't pay what was promised, she was gonna fly everyone to Monte Carlo for the weekend. I walked away with Sophie, acting like I was pissed.
Then Parker got to work priming Chaudry, first by insulting the face he kept introducing himself as Congressman Chaudry. They got into a friendly competition, shooting clay pigeons. Then Parker talked to Chaudry about the party. Chaudry questioned if Parker was interesting in investing in casinos, talking about his own. Parker then said the St. Claires didn't rent, they owned.
Chaudry told Parker she needed a gaming license, but Louisiana didn't have a spare license, and a good lawyer would have told her that. Parker said she had one, and then suggested that gaming licenses could always become available.
Then Harry switched out the clay pigeons, making it seem Chaudry missed. Parker then told Chaudry he didn't stand a chance, using the fact he was a first-generation son of immigrants to get him primed. As Parker left, she shot me and Sophie a look as we left. And I saw that Sophie and I were being tailed.
Third Person POV
Eliot got changed into his outfit and saw two guys in suits pushing a grey crate, which was the money. Eliot asked Dennis who they were. Dennis told Eliot that a private security detail handled the money, and they didn't allow anyone else near it or the count room. Eliot then asked what they did. Dennis said they looked for trouble and gave directions to the bathroom. Eliot noticed the guards go into the count room.
First Person POV (Kaira)
Sophie ended up going to another place and I went back to the jazz bar, making sure to lose the tail. When I got back, I made sure to put the kids to bed, then met Eliot and Parker at the door. Eliot, Parker, and I were walking up the steps.
"I don't like these suit guys. They don't look like casino security to me." Eliot told us.
"Yeah. Chaudry's got his suit guy, too. Jake. Frowny forehead lines." Parker described him.
I saw Breanna sitting in the living room on the couch.
"Well, we need to know exactly where the money is moving throughout the ship. And since Eliot can't get close to the money…" Breanna cuts me off.
"Guys. Why bother following the money when you can be the money?" Breanna asked us.
It actually wasn't a bad plan.
In the morning, Breanna got to work on the tagged bill, and I stayed put, since Sophie had a tail on her morning walk.
Third Person POV
Sophie was walking down the street, stopping to look through a window, when a black car pulled up. Chaudry asked Sophie to join him. She got in the car.
First Person POV (Kaira)
Now that the tail had been cleared, thanks to Sophie, I was in the truck close to the riverboat.
Eliot and I sent the kids off to school. The twins were in second grade, and Eli was in kindergarten. Honestly, it was kinda bittersweet seeing them get on the bus. God, why can't they stay little forever?
Eliot went in as his security guard alias, and Breanna walked in as a customer. Luckily, Hardison taught me how to run software, and I had access to the security cameras. Ha! And I had comms on.
"No wonder Chaudry needs help getting players in here. This place is dead." I saw on the security cameras Breanna walking in.
"So, I've been thinking about my character. Think I'm a silverspoon rich kid tryin' to front like she's tough." Breanna said over comms.
Parker was back at the jazz bar.
"That's too many layers." Parker told Breanna.
"Says the undercover tourist cop." Breanna quipped.
"Breanna, keep it simple. Drop the tagged bills into the system, and get out. We'll let the money work for us." I told Breanna.
Third Person POV
Sophie walked along the river beside Chaudry. She asked what she could do for him, calling him Congressman. Chaudry said it was nice to be recognized. He asked Sophie why "Belle St. Claire" thinks one party was gonna earn her a gaming license. He told Sophie he saw how she treated her and "Trish", and she had the power. He then asked what they did.
Sophie said she was a whale hunter, and Trish was a party planner for an exclusive clientele, and they worked casinos from here to Monte Carlo. When she called, all the biggest gamblers in the world came running and they had a blast losing a fortune at one of Trish's party's. Chaudry summed it up as Sophie brought in the big fish, Trish planned the parties, the big fish dropped cash at her tables, and it shows Van Winkle she'll attract the high rollers.
Sophie said if Chaudry's gaming license not get approved, and he's so overextended he had to shut down, Belle would take it from him. Chaudry said she couldn't stop Van Winkle from approving his application. Sophie said she could whisper in the right ears that if someone with Chaudry's history were to get the license, it would look bad.
Chaudry realized people would assume he bribed his way in. Chaudry went into his evil speech of evil, saying people like Belle, everything handed to them, and his parents came here scraped to build a hotel, but there was always palms to grease. But it wasn't the St. Claires who got caught. He said he was building his empire and no one was gonna stop him. (A/N I mean, I get what he's saying, but it doesn't excuse trying to take people's homes.)
Sophie questioned what he meant by empire. Chaudry revealed he wasn't stopping at one casino, and he was gonna have casinos up and down the river, and everyone was gonna know his name. Sophie asked how he was gonna get the land. Chaudry said land was cheap if you didn't know how to protect it. He told Sophie she should bring her whales to him, and show the bullies they couldn't push them around.
First Person POV (Kaira)
Eliot was shown the surveillance room. Eliot asked about a button. Dennis told Eliot not to touch it, explaining it only opened by the master code, which they didn't have. Great. I cycled through the cameras, not seeing one for the vault.
Eliot asked Dennis about it. Dennis said there were cameras in the count room, and it was the only way in and out of the vault. Eliot then got himself alone. I got the notification on the screen that Eliot had installed the device we were gonna use to loop the feed.
"Got it. Thanks, babe." I reported.
Eliot and Dennis got to talking.
"Eliot, we are in and recording some nice empty hallway footage." Parker reported.
I saw the tracker on the bills come up on the blueprints.
"RFID tape is working." I reported.
"Breanna, you're good." Parker told Breanna.
I then saw on the feeds someone removing the glass case from the pearl to clean it.
"Remember the pearl? They just took the sensors off to clean it." Breanna said.
"No." I tried warning Breanna.
"Really? Breanna, no. Stay on mission." Parker told Breanna.
"I took that drive off Harry." Breanna said.
"No, you were spotted." Parker told Breanna.
I could see her on the security cameras.
"Breanna, no." I warned Breanna.
"Don't do it, kid." Eliot warned as well.
I then heard Parker yell Breanna's name. Thank god Eliot stopped her and got her out, telling her to meet me in the truck. Eliot distracted Dennis. Breanna did the walk of shame walking into the truck. We sat in silence.
We got back, and I stood with Eliot, and Sophie as Parker and Breanna came down the stairs, Parker scolding Breanna for her stunt. Breanna argued Parker and I would've done it.
"Yeah. I'm Parker, the greatest thief in the world." Parker told Breanna.
"And I'm Kaira Spencer, the best jack of trades in the world." I argued.
"Hey, kid." Eliot got her attention.
Breanna sighed.
"It just takes time. You gotta know when to and when not to. I wouldn't have gone for it. Kaira wouldn't have gone for it. Your brother sure as…" Eliot argued.
"I'm not my brother!" Breanna yelled.
"Yeah, no kidding!" Parker exclaimed.
"Hey!" I pointed to Parker to warn her to back off.
I looked at Breanna, pointing at her.
"Rule 3, Bre: Don't have a bravado unless you wanna get killed or ruin the con." I told Breanna.
"Enough with the stupid rules!" Breanna exclaimed.
"Hey! Those are the rules we all have to follow. They're not just exclusive to you, Bre. They are so we don't get each other killed! If you get killed, I'm the one who has to make the phone call to Alec saying his little sister is dead! And so help me God, I am never making a phone call like that, cause I am not gonna lose you like I've lost every other godforsaken thing I love and I am not failing your brother!" I realized I was yelling.
"And it would kill me. So don't you dare put me or anyone here in that spot." I managed to slow my breathing down enough to calm down.
"Listen! Every person on this team has made mistakes. Having said that, we can't risk you being recognized from today. I'm sorry, Breanna, you're back in the van." Sophie told Breanna.
I could tell Breanna was pissed, but my adrenaline was still pumping, and a gentle touch on my hand from Eliot calmed me down more. Sophie faced the screen. We started walking to the screen.
"So… Chaudry, he's not just stopping with Ava and Lenore. He's gonna be stealing homes up and down the river if he gets his way. What do we know about the boat?" Sophie told us.
I saw Breanna leave, throwing her hands up. I'm still too wound up to face her right now.
"Well, the money's run from the floor to the counting room every 20 minutes. Then it's counted for 10 minutes before being loaded into the vault." Parker explained.
"Which means we have 10 minutes to crack the vault, grab the money, and get out." I explained.
"Mm-hmm. Only way on and off is the gangplank, unless you wanna jump in the river. Gettin' off with the money's gonna be harder than grabbing it." Eliot said.
"I have an idea about that." Sophie said.
Sophie gave us her idea, which was putting the money underneath a dress.
Since it was night, the kids were asleep, so I was watching them sleep. I feel shitty about yelling at Breanna like I did. I wasn't trying to get angry. I guess I got scared.
Third Person POV
Breanna was out in the courtyard, leaning against the wall. Harry me up with her outside. Breanna guessed he was there to make her feel better. Harry said he'd be the worse person in the world for that job.
Breanna asked why, since he got to sip cocktails at the club while she was stuck in the van. They started walking. Harry said he had that life, and he left that life, and now it was the only thing he had to offer. Breanna wasn't sympathetic, calling Harry a baby, saying all he had was money, good looks, and privilege, and access.
Harry asked about Breanna, saying she could do just about anything, and all of it was scary, and asked what she wanted. Breanna told Harry she wanted the world to stop sucking, cause it sucks. For her, for people she cared about, for Ava and Lenore. She didn't want them to lose their house. And this team said it could make a difference, and it was fine, she'd give it a shot because she loved her brother and she was desperate, not because she believed in hope or something stupid like that.
Harry said he hadn't relied on anyone for a long time, but he was relying on her. And so was the team. And if she wanted to be part of the team, she actually had to be part of the team. Even if it meant listening to Kaira's rules.
First Person POV (Kaira)
Eliot had gone to bed, and here I still was, watching my kids sleep. I was scared. I've known Breanna since she was 11. She's like my little sister. And right now, she probably hated me. If something happened to Breanna, I would blame myself because my job is watching their backs, and the guilt would kill me.
I then heard footsteps coming outside the hall, and I recognized them as Breanna's. She quietly knocked on the door. I turned to see her. I stepped outside and shut the door to the room. I leaned against the wall, exhaling, rubbing my face.
"Go ahead. Scream, hit me, I don't care. I was an ass, and I deserve it." I told Breanna.
"Kai, I'm not gonna do that. You were just looking out for me. I was just too stubborn to realize it." Breanna admitted.
"Well, you do get it honestly." I nudged Breanna a little.
She just chuckled. But her face dropped.
"What did you mean by you didn't want to lose me or fail Alec?" Breanna asked me.
I pursed my lips and took a breath.
"My whole life, I've lost people I've loved. My sister to cancer, my mom and dad cause my dad killed my mom then himself, my Nonna and Nonno from heart attacks, Nathan Ford." I said.
"I'm sorry." Breanna said.
"It's okay. My sister, parents, and grandparents have been gone a while." I said.
I took another breath.
"I don't want to lose anyone else. That's why I have the rules." I explained to Breanna.
"And failing Alec?" Breanna questioned me.
"Alec, Parker, Eliot, Sophie, you, you are the most important people in my life. But what would be worse than losing any of you is failing you as a protector. Cause it's my job. And I know you're a grown adult, but you're still my best friend's little sister. So I'm gonna protect you cause he's not here too." I told Breanna.
She just hugged me.
"I'm sorry I got upset, Kai." Breanna apologized.
"And I'm sorry for yelling." I apologized.
We let go.
"Just promise me you'll be more careful." I asked Breanna.
"I will." Breanna said.
She went back downstairs and I went to bed.
Third Person POV
Breanna made bundles of fake cash, and Parker was trying to strap them onto her legs. Sophie was timing her, and unfortunately, Parker was having trouble getting the bundles to stick.
Parker complained it was difficult, leading to Breanna sassing Parker, asking if it was impossible. Parker dismissed Breanna, so she left.
Sophie told Parker Breanna took the pearl to impress her, and for better or worse, Breanna was with them now, and they had to help her grow. Parker said like Sophie did with her. Sophie said like they all did with each other.
Parker then had an idea of laying the cash out in a line, and then rolling the tape over it. Parker pointed out it could work. Sophie said it was a shame the dress wasn't bigger. Then Sophie had an idea.
First Person POV (Kaira)
The next night was the party. I was wearing a slim red, strapless dress with red heels. I also had on simple makeup and red lipstick. I had Eliot stash me a bag to put my heels in when we went after the vault. And I may have been teasing Eliot since he hadn't seen me yet. Parker was wearing Ava's sweet 16 dress, which was blue, and very poofy, making Parker look like Cinderella.
I was walking beside Sophie, who was wearing a pink, ruffled-shouldered, dress. I heard Harry chortling over comms.
"Correct me if I'm wrong, but wouldn't you not want to attract attention to yourself?" Harry questioned.
I grabbed a champagne flute.
"You don't like my dress?" Parker questioned.
"You look amazing, Park!" I complimented.
"Sometimes the best way to hide is to blind them with your brightness." Sophie explained.
"Heard the expression, hiding in plain sight?" I questioned Harry, winking at the security cam, since I knew he was in the van.
"Kaira, I mean this is the most respectable way, you look amazing." Harry complimented.
I chuckled.
"Thanks. Not gonna lie, I have not worn a dress like this since before I had kids." I took a sip of my champagne.
I saw Parker walk up to one of the tables. I was walking with Sophie, and Chaudry joined us.
"Congratulations! You're a big hit." Sophie told Chaudry.
Parker spilled some champagne, acting slightly drunk.
"Remind me again why we invited her." Chaudry questioned us.
"You want Belle to know she's not gonna get your license. When she sees the money you're gonna rake in tonight, she's gonna fold like a stack of cards." I shot Chaudry a smile.
"Your whales will lose that much?" Chaudry questioned Sophie.
"Not in here. In the high rollers room." Sophie said.
We walked over to the room, where it wasn't as lively.
"These whales aren't very exciting." Chaudry said.
The dealer told the players the game was blackjack, and buy in was 50,000.
"They'll lose a million at the tables without even flinching. That's pretty exciting." Sophie told Chaudry as we sat at the bar.
I heard Eliot get Dennis out of the surveillance room. And he was eating cake.
"All right, Dennis is gonna be back soon. Now's our window." Eliot reported.
I got up and started walking.
"Breanna, deploy the loop." Sophie ordered Breanna.
Breanna reported she did it.
"And Kaira, mama, you look gorgeous." Eliot was flirty, and I could hear that smile.
"Thanks, baby. Though I still feel ridiculous. I do not have the body like I did eight years ago no thanks to you." I told Eliot, smirking at the camera at him.
"Hey, sweetheart, you agreed to it, so don't blame that all on me. It's partially your fault too." Eliot started laughing a bit, and I know he winked and smirked at me.
"Wipe that damn smirk of your face, Cowboy." I warned him, cocking my head at the camera.
"How the Hell?" Eliot started stammering, and I just started chuckling.
"I know your tricks, Cowboy." I smirked at the camera.
I slowly made my way to the side of the room.
"You know, sweetheart, with that ass lookin' fine as hell, I wouldn't be opposed to makin' baby four." Eliot came on comms.
I mocked laugh.
"Screw you." I told Eliot off, which I immediately regretted because I somehow forgot about my husband's sense of humor.
"Just say the word, babe." Eliot chuckled.
"Your ass wanna sleep on the couch, Spencer?" I threatened.
"Lovebirds! Bloody hell, tone it down!" I could see the look Sophie was giving me from across the room.
"And this is an open comms line. And y'all nasty." Breanna came over comms.
"Oh shit." I muttered as I quickly left the room.
"Do they do that all the time?" Harry asked, presumably to Breanna.
"By what Alec tells me, Hell yes." Breanna told Harry.
"What the hell?" Harry was confused.
I groaned.
"Lovebirds, Cinderella, you have 10 minutes." Sophie told us.
"And for the love of God, keep your flirting off comms." Breanna warned us.
"Shut up!" Eliot and I groaned.
I left the room, hearing Parker over comms get held up.
Third Person POV
Chaudry was talking with Sophie, calling her a genius and how incredible the party was. She then signaled to two players by twisting her wedding ring.
They then started winning. A lot. They were friends of Nate and Sophie who she met with earlier, telling them when she gave the signal, to start winning. Just like with Nate in Budapest (A/N 1.) it's Budapesht 2.) WHAT HAPPENED IN BUDAPEST?! Please tell me someone gets that!).
Chaudry got upset, but Sophie passed it off as it was just one hand, and it kept them playing.
First Person POV (Kaira)
Eliot and I meet up first in the hallway before we get to the vault.
"Hey babe." I cock him a smile.
Eliot grabbed my hand and kissed it, causing me to chuckle. He motioned for me to mute my comm while he did the same. Eliot luckily had my bag that had my flats in it, so I used him for support, changing from the heels to flats, then muting my comm.
"Now that we're alone." I smirked at Eliot, loosening his tie.
He held my waist while I held his face and we started kissing. After letting go to get some air, I pushed Eliot against the wall, and he lowered just a tad so he was in line with me and we couldn't keep our hands off of each other. And Eliot made sure my top didn't slip, which was chivalrous of him.
At one point, Eliot had me up against the wall, lifting me up by my ass. Hey, boy was strong. And we may have left small hickeys on our necks. Eliot then put me down, and I backed up into the other side, pulling Eliot by the tie.
"You doing okay, Princess?" Eliot asked me, both of us getting our breath.
"Never better, Cowboy. You?" I smirked at Eliot.
"Never better." Eliot smirked back.
We just started kissing again, my hands through Eliot's hair when I catch sight of Parker just in the corner of my eye.
"Son of a bitch!" I exclaimed, horrified.
I very quickly let go of Eliot and turn him around.
"Dammit Parker!" Eliot and I both exclaimed.
Parker was just standing there, confused. She then blushed, seeing how embarrassed we were and smirking.
"How long have you been watching us?" Eliot asked Parker.
"Long enough. I didn't know you both moved like that." Parker turned away.
"What the Hell?!" I exclaimed as Eliot and I fixed ourselves, unmuting our comms.
We were semi-together and rounded the corner, meeting with a guard, who looked Russian maybe. He of course asked us what we were doing there, which Parker swiftly kicked him, and Eliot and I body-slammed him into the wall. I moved so Eliot could pick him up over his shoulders. Parker grabbed his key card and opened the door to the count room.
"I knew I wore flats for a reason." I muttered as we walked in.
Eliot laid the guy on the table. I helped Eliot take care of the goon.
"A Boyle & Kim 500. How adorable." Parker commented as she started cracking the safe.
I used the knife I had in my bag to cut some chords so Eliot could wrap it around the goon. Eliot tightened the chord around the goon's hands as Parker opened the safe.
Then, of course, something had to go wrong. First, I saw Eliot's confused face, looking at the wrist of the goon. Then Parker's silence began to worry me.
"Um… guys… three is a lot of money in here." Parker said, nervous.
I walked over so I could see inside the vault. I gasped a bit.
"Isn't that kind of the point?" Breanna asked over comms.
"No, like, too much money. Like, tens of millions too much. Um, there's no way it's all gonna fit under this dress." Parker pointed out.
"Guys, we got another problem." Eliot said.
"You gotta be shitting me." I groaned and walked over to the table.
Eliot showed me the goon's wrist, and I recognized the mark.
"Shit!" I groaned.
"These guys are Russian mob." Eliot reported.
Eliot and I got the goon on the ground against the wall. Eliot was down while I tried putting the pieces together.
"Russians? How do you know they're Russian?" Harry asked us.
"Because it's a very distinctive…" Eliot stopped once the goon started groaning.
I groaned in response and kicked the goon in the face. Parker walked back into the count room. Then it hit me.
"Son of a bitch! Chaudry's laundering money for the Russian mob. He uses his casino to provide cover, and in exchange the Russians probably give him a cut of the money for his services. It's how he's financing his empire." I explained.
"Jake's not an employee. He's protecting money for a Russian oligarch." Harry realized. "Precisely. It's what my uncle did." I said.
"The plan depends on us emptying the vault." Sophie told us.
"Yeah, we know, Soph, but unless we can somehow shrink money, I'm not seeing another option." I pointed out.
"We may have to regroup." Sophie said.
"Yeah, if we leave now, though, Lenore and Ava are gonna lose their house." Harry pointed out.
"Uh, guys… I have an idea." Breanna said.
Breanna gave us her idea.
"Will it work?" Harry asked.
"Did the math twice." Breanna told us.
"Kid, this ain't a dry run." Eliot reminded Breanna.
"If Breanna believes it can work." Sophie said.
"It'll work. And we won't sink. " Breanna insisted.
"Parker, Kaira, what do you think?" Sophie asked us.
We were standing in a triangle.
"I trust you, Bre. Parker?" I looked at Parker.
Eliot gave a nod to show he was good with it.
"Trust the newbie." Parker said.
"Yes? Yes? Yes, yes! Okay, okay, all you have to do is maneuver through some heavily patrolled areas and grab what you need." Breanna told us.
I gave Eliot a kiss on the cheek.
"Don't be late, Cowboy." I warned him.
"I won't." Eliot kissed my cheek.
I nodded for him to go as Parker and I went to the vault to prepare. Parker took off the skirt, just wearing the top and bloomers.
"And Eliot… you better hurry up too." Sophie warned Eliot, nervous.
A bit later, Eliot came in on comms.
"I always get the fun job, don't I?" Eliot complained.
Parker was covering a vent with duct tape.
"Ah, that's nothin'. You cut your way out of an ice cave. You escaped a gorilla enclosure. And… you catered a wedding for the Mob." Parker told Eliot.
I heard him knocking people out.
"It wasn't catering. It was a food sensory experience." Eliot argued.
"It was really good. And don't act like you don't have fun when you punch a goon, babe." I argued.
Eliot got directions to the next place he had to go.
Third Person POV
Harry gave Breanna two thumbs up.
Eliot found his way to the workshop. Where he was met by Dennis. Eliot told Dennis to go back upstairs. Dennis then asked if Eliot was going renegade. Eliot said he was. He then told Dennis the guys in suits were Russian Mafia. Dennis got excited that he knew. Eliot told him to go upstairs, but a goon came up from behind, and Dennis warned Eliot to look out, then moved him out of the way, causing him to get punched in the face, going down hard.
Eliot back kicked the goon, then grabbed a crowbar. He twirled it around, telling the guy it was a big mistake. Eliot used the crowbar to block the punches, then used the crowbar to hit the guy in the neck, knocking him out.
Eliot then tossed the crowbar aside and made sure Dennis was okay, putting his head on a life jacket. Eliot asked if Dennis was okay, getting a thumbs up in response. He left with the cart.
First Person POV (Kaira)
After Parker and I got the finishing touches done on the vault, Eliot came back with the cart of things. I could still hear Sophie trying to keep Chaudry calm with all the winning. Then the vault locked.
"That's it. Next time that door opens, cops'll be on the other side." Parker told us.
"Let's get to work then." I said.
Third Person POV
Sophie came on comms after hearing Chaudry say the cops were gonna get there any minute, asking if Eliot, Parker, and Kaira were out yet. Sophie saw the cops coming, and Chaudry left with a warning to make sure people started losing.
Sophie signaled her friends to stop and cash out. Sophie warned the trio in the vault that the cops were on their way.
What Chaudry found was an empty vault. He tried warning Sophie to not let the players cash out. Right in front of Van Winkle. Chaudry tried to get Sophie to take the fall, but Sophie turned it around by accusing Chaudry of running a rigged game.
Sophie told Chaudry his Russian friends weren't gonna be happy with him, and to look on the bright side cause everyone was gonna know his name. And Sophie discovered the pearl was stolen.
First Person POV (Kaira)
So, when you're on a riverboat and have too much money to carry off or hide under your clothes, what do you do? Well, if you're us, you listen to the person in the van.
First things first, we loaded up all the cash we could into garbage bags. Maybe sticking a few stacks into mine and Parker's bras. By making the vault airtight as possible, and filling it up with nitrogen, the room became pressurized, and water stayed down. As Breanna explained to us, it was the Ideal Gas Law.
So, we attached the garbage bags to lights and life jackets. Eliot was able to roll up the carpet, cutting a whole large enough for us to stick the bags under the boat, and for us to go under.
So some distance away, at night, and soaking wet, Eliot, Parker, and I hauled in the bags of cash. We then saw headlights, and I saw the rest of the team join us. Harry started laughing.
"Whoo! Looks like you caught a big one!" Harry joked.
Parker walked up to Breanna, giving her a shove.
"Ow! What?" Breanna questioned Parker.
"Good job." Parker told Breanna, smiling.
"Seriously, kid. Good work today." I shot Breanna a smile.
"You too, Parker and Kaira. And the dress was amazing!" Sophie complimented Sophie.
"A little water probably came in once the vault wasn't airtight." Breanna said.
"Yeah, that was your big mistake, ruining Chaudry's throw rugs. Very disappointed in you." Harry joked around with Breanna.
Parker started laughing, leading to us all laughing.
"Okay, please tell me I have spare clothes, cause I am not staying in this soaking wet dress." I started walking to the truck.
"If you want, sweetheart, I can help take that sexy dress off and let you borrow my clothes." Eliot offered, a flirty smirk on his face.
I just nodded my head for him to come inside, hearing the eye rolls from the team. Once I was sure we were alone, I turned away from Eliot.
"Care to undo the zipper, babe?" I asked him.
Eliot was glad to.
"Been wanting to do this all night." Eliot teased as he undid the zipper.
He tossed me some spare clothes of his and just looked. I just chuckled and motioned for Eliot to turn around. He did, and I quickly changed.
Once I was ready, I helped load up the truck and we went back home, where Eliot and I enjoyed a nice steamy shower to get the river water off us. And yes, making out was involved.
Third Person POV
A bit later, Sophie and Harry met with Ava and Lenore and gave them the deeds to their house, free and clear, and paid off. Lenore tried saying she couldn't accept it, as it was too much, but Ava convinced her too.
Sophie said they had arranged the same for any neighbors still in the area, and Harry told them that anybody who got forced out got fair compensation. And Harry revealed that he got historical status on the whole neighborhood, so nobody could force them out. Lenore said it was more than she had hoped for, calling them angels.
Sophie told Ava she wanted her to have the best Sweet 16 in history, though she was gonna need a new dress. Lenore very willingly said she could take care of that.
First Person POV (Kaira)
Now that we were dried off, and the job was done, we were back at base. I was sitting at the table, eating some chips next to Breanna. I heard Eliot on the phone, talking to Dennis, assuring him he would pass the entrance exam this time, and offered to help him study. Eliot then ended the call by saying he'd see him at game night. Eliot hissed and put his phone on the table, and took a swig of beer.
"Aw, you made a pal." Breanna teased Eliot.
"Don't do that. This guy got punched in the face. He lost his job. He deserves a break." Eliot told Breanna.
"I think it's sweet." I shot Eliot a smile.
"And he makes really good carrot cake." Parker sat down beside me.
I tried not to laugh as Eliot's eyes got so wide and he got upset.
"That was… my cake, Parker! He made it special for me." Eliot was pouting as he walked away.
Breanna turned to me and Parker, clearing her throat.
"Why did you two decide to trust me on the boat?" Breanna asked us.
"Hardison, he put it in the binders, volume ten, "When in doubt, trust the person stuck inside the van. They can always see the big picture."." Parker told Breanna.
"I always trusted you, Bre. You're a genius. You just need to channel it all in your own way." I told her.
"Sucks he's not here." Breanna said.
My face dropped a bit.
"Yeah. Really does." Parker said, quiet.
"I miss that cocky son of a bitch." I let out a small smile for a moment.
"But we have you." Parker told Breanna.
"More suckage for you." Breanna told Parker.
"No. Mnh-mnh. I'm glad you're here. You're an incredibly gifted hacker, and we need you. Why not leave the other stuff to us?" Parker told Breanna.
"I want to take on the bad guys. I have to learn everything." Breanna said.
"Bre, these bad guys are worse than ever, okay? Hardison trusted us with you. I'm not gonna let him down, and I'm not gonna let anything bad happen to you." I tried telling Breanna.
"Parker. Kaira. My first memory is of 9/11. I've lived through endless war, two economic collapses, and the return of actual Nazis. So this "worst world ever" thing you see… it's the only world I've ever known. I'm not scared. I'm kinda ready to kick it in the junk." Breanna said.
"Okay. Training starts tomorrow." Parker told Breanna.
She went to walk away, but then stopped.
"Ooh. Almost forgot." Parker tossed Breanna the pearl.
"Your first trophy. You earned it." Parker told Breanna.
"Dammit Parker! I wanted to steal it!" I whined a bit.
"But you were nowhere near the… When did you - how did you…? How did you…?" Breanna stared at the pearl, confused.
"I'm Parker." Was all Parker said.
I chuckled and looked at Breanna.
"Hey. I mean it. I am proud of you. And for what it's worth, whether you believe it or not, I do get what you mean. I look at these news stories of another bad thing happening, and first comes the sadness for everyone involved. Then the anger that it was allowed to happen. Then the guilt that this is the future I'm gonna have to raise my kids in. Where Sophia's gonna have to work twice as hard cause she's a girl. Nathaniel and Eli, told to hide their emotions. Where Sophia could get attacked just cause she said no to a guy. But your generation, Bre? You're gonna be the ones to change the world. And that is what keeps me afloat when I feel like drowning." I admitted to Breanna.
Breanna put her hand on my shoulder.
"I really do appreciate it, Kai. And you shouldn't feel guilty. Cause you're a good mom, Kai. You and Eliot really are the best parents. You should be proud, Kai. You and Eliot have amazing kids." Breanna said, giving me a smile.
"Thanks. Speaking of which, I should probably go get them from the bus stop." I shot Breanna a smile.
I left to go get the kids.
I missed Hardison. But Breanna was starting to fit in perfectly. And it felt good to be back in the game with my family again.
(A/N) Thank you so much for reading this chapter! I hope you enjoyed it as much as I enjoyed writing it! Now, the song for this chapter:
watch?v=nd1KkVLbrUc&ab_channel=Ez (Lisa Berry performing "Proud Mary" at SPN Seattle 2018)
I mean, this song is literally where the title of the episode comes from, so how could I not? And this is my favorite version of this song, performed by the lovely Lisa Berry, who plays Billie on Supernatural, at a Supernatural Con in Seattle in 2018.
Well, I don't have too much more. The next chapter will be based on "The Tower Job", which will be very interesting, so I can't wait!
Stay tuned! Remember to favorite this story and share! Thank you so much for the love! Remember to comment too! Much love to you all! Stay safe!
