It's time for the continuation of A Completely Random Quirk, which won't be a sequel as much as it will be a series of one-shots, both in the timeline and not, as some events simply wouldn't happen but leave opportunities that can't be wasted...
The raid of Shie Hassaikai
(spoilers for season 4...)
As Lemillion disappears through the walls ahead of the group Izuku moves to the front.
"It feels like my quirk was created for this moment." Izuku begins. "A child needs my help, no wall will stop me."
"Oh no." Aizawa says, knowing exactly what was coming.
"Oh no?" Asks the policeman near Eraserhead.
"Oh no!" Shouts Kirishima, excited to see what was going to happen.
"OH YEAH." Izuku shouts, smashing through the walls nearly as fast as Lemillion could phase through them.
"He really is the Kool Aid man..." Fat Gum says, sighing
"Let's move, he's created an opening" Rock Lock says, but before they could move the villain Mimic drops them to the floor below.
"Oh yeah"
"Oh yeah"
"Oh yeah"
"Oh yeah"
'You would think he would give up by now, these walls'
"Oh yeah"
'Aren't slowing me down.' Izuku thinks.
"Oh yeah"
'Finally'
Izuku continues down the now empty corridor wondering how far behind Lemillion he was.
'Ah, another wall.' Izuku thinks, 'wait this one's different, it's not as smooth as the rest. This must be Chisaki's work.'
"OH YEAH" Izuku bellows, hoping this would finally be his entrance. Luckily it was, he quickly notices Lemillion leaping towards Eri, and then hears a ping as something bounces off his left shin. Looking down he notices that he had deflected a bullet from a gang member by accident as he smashed through the wall.
"Kool Aid Man?" Questions the black masked villain.
"What did I do?" Asks Izuku as he notices everyone staring at him, well more than usual.
"You blocked a bullet heading for Eri, Kam!" Lemillion says, "One of those quirk removing ones!"
"It's K.A.M, I mean, of course, surrender now villains, for I am here!" Izuku says posing like All Might.
"Disgusting." Chisaki says, "You won't ruin my plans."
"Kam, protect Eri, I've got this." Lemillion says.
"Yeah"
'The fight had been going so well.' Izuku thinks; Izuku was able to grab Eri and retreat to the hall, just in time for Aizawa and Nighteye to arrive. Lemillion had been dominating the fight against Chisaki, that was until one of his men, Chrono woke up, and managed to slow both Aizawa and an unprepared Lemilion. Nighteye then lost to Chisaki and Izuku had to jump to his aid, leaving Eri in the hall.
Despite his quirks love of breaking through walls, it still took a toll on his durability and after taking one to many stone spears from Chisaki, Izuku shattered, covering the remaining heroes in Juice.
Chisaki was now escaping through a hole in the roof blasted open by Ryukyu's team with Izuku jumping after him in his normal form.
At this moment Eri noticed Lemillions cape and leaps for it, noticing Izuku and finally deciding to believe in the heroes trying to save her.
'She jumped!' Izuku thinks, quickly moving to catch the falling Eri.
"I'm not leaving you behind again." Izuku says. 'I really need to train more in this form, I'm not moving like I want to.'
"Give her back!" Chisaki yells, leaping off his rock pillar, stone spears racing for Izuku.
'She's finally accepted my help, I can't let her down.' Izuku thinks digging deep within for the power he needs to save Eri.
In an instant he finds himself high above the city, transformed into his heroic form.
"Oh yeah?" he says out of reflex, landing nearby confused.
"Where is Eri." Chisaki says raising himself out of the hole, his upper body connected to a monstrosity of flesh resembling his minions. "And what's with the color change?"
'Color change?' Izuku thinks before raising his hand, noticing his usual red was now white. 'Eri?'
'Hello?' Eri says in his mind.
'Wait, where are you?' Izuku thinks.
"Where is SHE!" Chisaki yells, attacking Izuku who dodges into the air.
'I'm here' Eri says.
Izuku then senses Eri's presence next to him floating in his mind.
'Is this your power?' Izuku asks, dodging another attack from Chisaki.
'No. I make people disappear' Eri replies.
'It's me then, another strange ability.' Izuku says. 'But what's this cold sucking blob next to One for All.'
'One for All?' Eri wonders. 'My curse has a cold sucking feeling, it's next to the zappy ball of warmth.'
As Izuku considers this he loses an arm 100% smashing Chisaki.
"You dare use a little girl for your quirk erasing bullets!" Izuku yells at Chisaki, hoping to goad some information on Eri's quirk out of him.
Lucky for Izuku, Chisaki was too angry to realize the problem with giving away crucial information and explained Eri's quirk in great detail.
'Can I use it?' Izuku thinks
'You can't.' Eri says back, scared of her power.
'I'm going to lose otherwise, might as well' Izuku thinks, breaking his other arm to buy time. 'Too bad this form is terrible for kicks'
Starting the figurative vacuum that was Eri's quirk Izuku's arms healed, but he could almost feel his glass growing weaker, and stopping the vacuum was more difficult than controlling One for All.
'I'll just have to break myself faster' Izuku thinks, leaping into a powerful offensive against Chisaki.
"Just when you think you've seen everything." A local grandpa says from his patio. "You see the Kool Aid Man flying through the sky beating up a monstrous villain like All Might 15 years ago."
Soon Izuku had beaten Chisaki but now as he stands triumphant he can't stop Eri's quirk.
'Together Eri, we have to shut off the vacuum.' Izuku thinks.
'Ok!' Eri says, as focused as she could be.
They managed to slow the power to a trickle but at this point it was like they hit a brick wall and a slight sucking feeling remained. Desperate to end the quirk, Izuku searches for Aizawa. Noticing him he leaps to him.
"Izuku when did you turn white?" Tsu asks, holding Aizawa's injured form.
"No time to explain." Izuku says. "Mr. Aizawa, use your quirk on me."
As Aizawa did, Izuku transformed and Eri fell into his arms.
"Did she just appear out of nowhere?" Tsu asks.
"We merged somehow, probably my quirk, that's why I was white, was able to use her quirk" Izuku began before moving into a stream of less intelligible muttering.
"That's enough for now." Tsu says, using her tongue to smack him back to reality. "We can discuss later. Are both of you alright."
"Eri seems to have fallen asleep, and on that note I'm exhausted." Izuku replies. "I'm going to check on Sir Nighteye before the ambulances arrive."
Still carrying the sleeping Eri, Izuku moves to where Ochako is trying to take care of the impaled Nighteye, suit red from blood and juice.
"Nighteye..." Izuku says kneeling in front of the injured man. "It's not an emergency heal, but have some juice to help with the blood loss."
Izuku conjured a glass, which was somehow full of the same white color he transformed into earlier.
'I haven't let go of Eri yet, maybe the effect persists?' Izuku thinks.
'White?' Ochako thinks, 'He was white earlier too. An evolution maybe? We'll have to talk about it later'
Giving Nighteye the new colored juice probably wasn't the smartest idea, but Izuku tried it anyway and he was glad he did. When the full glass had been drunk the concrete spear in Nighteye's gut slid out and his arm returned.
'What?' Izuku thinks. 'Eri's quirk must still be in the juice.'
'We really need to talk.' Thinks Ochako.
"Midoriya?" Nighteye mutters, focusing again. "Did you just test an unknown product of your quirk on me?"
"U-um, yes." Izuku replies.
"Don't do that again, but thanks, it seems you've saved me this time"
"Your welcome sir." Izuku almost shouts
"But don't think I'm not telling your teachers about it. I'm sure Recovery Girl will have interesting things to say."
Izuku immediately hid behind Ochako and the sleeping Eri, hero he may be but facing down an angry nurse was a different kind of courage, also known as stupidity.
"You somehow changed the future today Midoriya, defied fate." Nighteye says before falling asleep, Ochako barely managing to catch him.
"Thanks for inviting us Momo, we all need to decompress after that." Izuku says as he rests in Momo's dorm room with Tsu and Ochako not long after finally returning to the dorms after a long night at the hospital and a longer day filing reports.
"Shouldn't we have invited Tenya." Ochako asks.
"It's past curfew, he would make us return to our rooms and sleep." Tsu says.
"I'm exhausted yet I don't think I can sleep." Ochako says.
"Same here." Izuku says.
"I wish I could have been there to help." Momo says, "even just for moral support after the fighting finished."
"We would have gladly had you there." Tsu says, "It was strange how they didn't allow any visitors at the hospital afterward and now with the exception of a quick talk with Aizawa, they haven't even offered any counseling or other support."
"All the more reason to have a strong team." Izuku says.
"Well, I think the best place to start would be to talk through the whole story" Momo says.
"Well it began when Sir Nighteye invited several heroes to a meeting about Shie Hassaikai." Tsu begins.
"And when I arrived at the surface with Nighteye I saw what looked like Izuku but white flying through the sky in a surprisingly one-sided beat-down of Chisaki." Ochako says.
"Later we found out Izuku somehow merged with Eri." Tsu says.
"That's what happened?" Ochako asks, "I thought it was a mutation of some type especially after the juice he created for Nighteye wasn't red and healed him quickly."
"I'm not sure how I combined but the effect remained until I let go of Eri." Izuku says.
"You just keep gaining new abilities Izuku." Momo says, "Is there a limit to your quirks abilities?"
"That I don't know, I recently found some pre-quirk comics of a Kool Aid man, apparently he was a hero even before I became one." Izuku says, "I might gain all the abilities he had there."
"Can we test the combining ability?" Ochako asks. "I want to see what colors we can turn you into."
'For the colors.' they think, 'typical Ochako.'
"Might as well." Izuku says, "I was carrying Eri at the time, but maybe just contact will work?"
"Alright then hold hands." Tsu says.
"Umm..." Izuku mumbles, suddenly less enthusiastic.
"..." Ochako freezes.
Sighing Momo grabs both their hands and brings them together.
"Just don't break my room." She says
"Alright!" Izuku says too loudly.
"I'm ready." Ochako replies.
Without much fanfare Izuku activates his quirk and somehow ends up pink.
"That's a great color for him." Tsu says. "And have you really never transformed holding someone before?"
"It's not really just him anymore though?" Momo says, noting that Ochako was gone.
"Uh no, also this is weird" K.A.M says
"What's weird?" Momo asks.
"When Eri was here it was like she was just a spectator, but Ochako is able to control me." Izuku says.
"Probably has to be related to will power, Eri just wanted to be saved. Ochako is a hero as well." Tsu says.
"That makes sense." a bubbly version of K.A.M's voice, obviously Ochako says.
"Well, use your quirk." Tsu says.
"Fine." Ochako says, touching Tsu, who immediately floated away.
'It seems to work fine' Izuku thinks.
'Yeah,' Ochako thinks, 'are we stuck hearing each other's thoughts'
'Yes we are.' Izuku thinks
"Oi! You two!" Momo loudly says, knocking on their body.
"Sorry, we were talking." Ochako says.
"We hear each other's thoughts." Izuku explains.
"Well, let's test the juice before you two go off on a long think." Tsu says.
Accepting the glass of pink juice Tsu instantly feels lighter as she drinks but doesn't float away.
"So it's a weaker effect of the joined person's quirk." Tsu says
"Seems like it, Eri's didn't reverse Nighteye out of existence, just undid a few minutes." Ochako says.
"Do you think multiple people could combine?" Momo asks "Also since you hear each other's thoughts, you have to be careful about secrets right, so don't combine with anyone you haven't told about One for All."
"Oh shit, Eri knows." Izuku says.
"Language!" Momo complains.
"Not now Momo." Tsu says, "You should talk to All Might soon."
K.A.M then floated off the ground.
"It seems that without inner ears to bother, my side effect isn't a problem." Ochako says, instantly noticing the lack of nausea.
"We're going to All Might now!" Izuku shouts, opening the door to the porch and flying off. "We'll be back soon!"
AN: Hopefully I will as well...
How about that, not exactly as I intended but having the Kool Aid Man smashing through walls to save Eri was one of the moments that inspired me to write this character, that and the entrance exam scene. If this was to be cannon I would have Izuku not meet Eri on the street, since this version of him would definitely bring her to the police. I guess I would write him helping an old lady cross the street or something...
Also the combining ability was something I was originally going to add at the USJ, but it felt to OP (not that it isn't now) don't expect to see it much. And in my alt world Izuku tells his friends about One for All instead of his bully/rival...
I will finish by referring you to a video by Mat Pat (The Food Theorists) I saw about how Kool Aid Man is becoming all powerful. I might just use some of those abilities to justify some crossovers... oh boy what a can of worms that video opens.
