"And the student in last place will be expelled." Aizawa says as his ears ring from Bakugo's explosive throw.

"But that's not fair." Ochako says.

"Being a hero isn't fair." Aizawa says before going on a spiel about all the terrible things that could happen.

'Aren't you supposed to teach us to survive that.' Izuku thinks, feeling some dislike towards this teacher.

"Any other useless comments?" Aizawa asks.

"I wouldn't call it useless, but my quirk can take some time to set up, can I start now, or should I do these tests without it?" Izuku says.

"I've seen your file, you can get started" Aizawa answers.

"Erecting a Dispenser." Izuku says, building behind the class, who all turn and stare at him, "Sorry 'bout that, quirk habit."

Before starting the 50 meter dash Izuku tossed a now familiar red tool box to the finish line, before moving into position next to Bakugo and placing another red tool box. "That was gettin' heavy."

At the starting signal Izuku steps on the now glowing red circle and instantly appears on the other side.

"0.5 seconds." The machine states.

"Now that's how it's done." Izuku says.

"You're nothing without your toys!" Bakugo yells as he finishes blasting Izuku's teleporter exit.

"Teleporter down!" Izuku cries, looking at the remains of his construct.

"Bakugo, we do not use our quirks to attack others." Aizawa says.

"Tsk." Bakugo growls.

"Hey Izuku, where did the broken pieces go?" Ochako asks when she notices the disappearance of the destroyed teleporter.

"I picked 'em up as scrap, can use it again later." Izuku says.

"Ah recycling, wonderful." Ochako says.

"It's actually part of my quirk. I turn metal into the buildings you see." Izuku explains as the class begins the grip test.

"Cool, wait is that a wrench?" Ochako asks, noticing the cyberpunk esque tool Izuku had pulled out of nowhere.

"Yep, part of my quirk, this one's called the Eureka Effect, it has a teleportation device inside it for quick escapes." Izuku explains as he slowly closes his tool around the grip strength tester.

"That's quite impressive." Ochako replies, attempting to improve her score.

"Ah, it broke." Izuku says, stepping away from the broken remains and noticing another student had also broken their tester, but with a vice instead of a wrench.

"Midoriya, if you pull the same trick with the teleporter, I'm giving you a zero for this test." Aizawa says as the students prepare for the long jump.

"If you say so." Izuku says, before picking up the most dangerous looking of his buildings and walking to the start line.

"Sentry going up." Izuku says, placing his gun near the jumping point and pulling out what looked like a radar dish with a joystick on a pistol grip.

'I have a bad feeling about this.' Aizawa thinks, noticing the bubble shield and laser appearing on the tripod mounted dual miniguns with the suspicious box above.

Izuku seemed to control the gun with his tool and pointed it at the ground in his running path. Charging towards the sand pit Izuku jumps as he hits the secondary fire button on his device, launching rockets at the ground below his feet and launching himself well clear of the sand pit.

"Yee-haw!" Izuku yells as he soars through the sky, followed by a grunt of pain as he lands.

"Did he just rocket jump?" Mina asks.

"Yes, yes he did." Jiro replies.

"That was awesome." Sero says.

"He seems to have injured his legs though." Kaminari observes as Izuku limps back to the group.

"It's actually called a sentry jump." Izuku says, walking to his dispenser while taking out a strange looking shotgun.

"Whoa, we didn't offend you that much did we!" Sero shouts.

"Nah, just look." Izuku says pointing his gun at the sentry he left behind, before it disappeared and a familiar looking toolbox appeared on his shoulder.

"Teleportin' building's, for when you don't want to walk." Izuku explains before placing the sentry back in his nest.

"You are full of surprises aren't you." Sero says.

'What did I do to deserve this.' Aizawa thinks. 'How could someone actually fire rockets at themselves just to jump.'

The rest of the tests went well for Izuku, his wrangler aim to be exceptional as he launched the ball further than Momo's cannon by a significant amount by hitting the ball again with rockets before it could hit the ground. Of course he was just average for the side steps, toe-touch, sit ups and distance run, but Izuku was confident he was near the top of the class.

"I'm not wasting anymore time, just look yourselves up." Aizawa says, displaying the results for all to see.

"Now that's some tactical problem-solving!" Izuku announces, noticing his position at the top of the class.

"Stupid toy using weakling!" Bakugo yells, angry about his 'loss' to Izuku. "Deku! You're dead!"

Bakugo charges into Izuku's nest and before Izuku could get out of his recently deployed chair, Bakugo explodes all of the buildings.

"Bakugo!" Aizawa says, using his capture tool to grab the rampaging student. "I wasn't going to expel anyone today, but you've crossed the line with your rampant destruction of other people's things. A hero that can't respect people's property isn't one, leave us and never come back."

"You can't do that, I'm the next number one hero!" Bakugo yells.

"If you don't calm down and leave this instant, you'll be the 'number one' UA student to go to prison on the first day." Aizawa says, silencing the blond.

"Fine, see if I care." Bakugo says, leaving with his hands deep in his pockets.

"You will all stay out here for fifteen minutes to let him leave before collecting your syllabi in the classroom." Aizawa says before walking off to make sure Bakugo didn't do any more damage.

"You ok Midoriya?" Ochako asks, approaching Izuku as he falls to his knees weeping for his lost buildings.

"I'll rebuild them." Izuku says between sobs.

"I'll help collect the scrap." Ochako says.

"Yeah!" Kirishima says, "It wasn't manly to destroy all these creations, so let's all help clean them up."

"Howdy, Yaoyorozu was it?" Izuku asks as he approaches the second place finisher.

"Yes, hello Midoriya." Momo says.

"I noticed you've got a quirk similar to mine, perhaps we can work together to find ways to improve?" Izuku asks.

"You outdid me on most tests though, how could I help?" Momo asks, confidence shaken by her consistent loss to a similar quirk.

"We can start by explainin' each other's quirks and finding common ground." Izuku says, his somehow Texan sounding Japanese soothing Momo's nerves.

"I convert the lipids in my body into any non-living item that I understand." Momo explains.

"Well, I use a supply of metal scrap I have in a sub dimension to create a device based on any blueprint I can see. I also have some tools I can call up." Izuku says, "It seems that while our output is similar the driving force is quite different."

"Indeed, that explains the device you keep pulling out of your pocket." Momo says.

"Yep, that's my PDA, it holds blueprints for the common devices I create, along with a switch to destroy them, and other controls." Izuku explains.

"Interesting, I think this will be the beginning of a wonderful partnership." Momo says, "We need to discuss this further."

"We can have a chat after school, I'll bring Uraraka, she seems to be interested in my quirk as well as my accent." Izuku says

"Excellent."

"So, one of your students rocket jumped?" Powerloader asks.

"Yes, they did." Aizawa says, looking like the whole world was out to get him.

"Never let him visit the support studios, if he meets Hatsume, I have a terrible feeling about the future of this world." Power Loader says, with increasing despair.

"What did she do?" Aizawa asks, regretting the reflexive question immediately.

"Somehow rigged a name-tag to explode." Power Loader says, "on the first day! It normally takes the crazy one at least a week!"

"I agree with your choice to keep them separate." Aizawa says, "I also propose to never discuss this within hearing range of the Principal.

"Amen."

AN: Another random idea from the terrifying depths of my mind. While this probably won't become a story, any TF2 related ideas will be written here.

I somehow always like to start on the quirk assessment test, it just feels like a good way to introduce a new quirk idea, better than an exposition dump to All Might or something. action instead of words, show instead of tell and all that.

I'll see you all later, I'm off the Rancho Relaxo in the skybox.
