I was once weak
Summery: the story of a girl who once wanted to be a hero only to be betrayed by the world at every turn. Her mother and herself abandoned her father almost killed by the man who once she idolized and the boy who once terrorized her every day being praised and called a "hero" it was to much. This is the story of how Izumi Midoriya became the villain "Osore"
A/N: there is an event in this chapter that I know doesn't match in the canon timeline but it is needed for Izumi's character and will help to develop her belief system
Disclaimer: I do not own my hero academia that would be Toho and Kohei Horikoshi. So please don't send lawyer at me or they will be shoot out of the lawyer cannon
Chapter 2
After the events that brought Izumi into her father's service she gained a proper introduction to her father's workers.
"Izumi allow me to give you a proper introduction to these two" said Hiashi gesturing to Kurogiri. "this is Oboro Shiakumo a Nomu that I had created though it was years ago the man was once a hero-in-training as UA" Hiashi then gestured to the white haired teen "and this here is my faithful student and potential successor Tomura Shigiraki" said Hiashi the part of potential successor gained the attention of the two teens.
"Sensei what do you mean Potential?" asked Shigiraki.
"exactly as I said potential as now my daughter will be working with us as of today meaning she will now be capable of succeeding me as well as you are." explained Hiashi.
"why do you need a successor in the first place?" asked Izumi.
"Izumi I'm an old man witch means I won't be around forever and someday I'll be gone, it was this very reason I recruited Shigiraki as I had to ensure one for all was one day defeated and for that I decided to adopt my brothers tactic… one day either you or Shigiraki will be gifted my quirk." that info was a bomb of info onto the young girl but she accepted the fact.
After this Izumi found herself being educated and trained along side Shigiraki by Kurogiri. During her lessons she would have an examination from the Doctor who declared her quirkless only to afterwards to reveal a fact that surprised even Hiashi.
"...I have a quirk?" questioned Izumi as she save on a medical bed her clothes consisting of a pair of sweat pants and a black tank top he father was also standing in the room.
"yes, the simple fact is the equipment I had assess to back when you were four wasn't capable of detect the quirk."
"what exactly is it and why has it never manifested before?" questioned Hiashi.
"the quirk is special truly it is similar in essence to the original version of one for all and all for one a stockpiling quirk that by itself can't manifest" Dr. Garaki stated. "and honestly her quirk makes the quirk singularity doomsday theory obsolete"
"how so?" questioned Hiashi.
"the quirk is a mutation quirk but rather then an obvious physical change her mutation makes her body constantly evolve and adapt to any energy that it is exposed to I believe that she will be able to handle and contain any quirk she would obtain making the deformities that you suffer from All for one no happen with in Izumi" stated the doctor with a girn "but there is only one way to know for certain.
It was after that meeting that Izumi would retrieve a quirk from her father the quirk called Inferno the quirk was an emitter quirk and it allowed the user to create and manipulate flames as they saw fit the quirk in essence a similar to the quirk of the pro hero Endeavor and even rivaled in with temperature the flames the girl could emit dark red flames.
It was a year after Izumi would join her fathers organization. Hiashi would often leave they main facility once ever few months to pay a visit to a facility where the theoretical experiments for the Nomus was being held the facility also housed her mother who if this continued to progress as they were would have Inko awake in a year and a half.
"brat" said Shigiraki throwing the greenette a bottle of water who stumbled to get a grip on the bottle in question.
"Jerk" said Izumi with a pout earning an eye roll, as this happened a TV mounted on the wall had a sudden news alert interrupting the program the report was stating a disaster happened due to a hero raid gone bad in a Kyoto. This catching the two teens attention the TV showed a destroyed city and heroes helping people
"this just in, we've identified a fight going on between the no. 1 hero All Might and an unknown villain!" stated a reporter the camera showed the hero All Might fighting none other then Hiashi Midoriya!
"wait, if dads fighting what about my mom!" said a worried Izumi.
"I shall go check on her condition Izumi" said Kurogiri hearing the panic in his young charge opening a portal to Kyoto "remain here" the elder villain ordered before leaving. On the TV All Might and Hiashi fought with everything they had.
"this doesn't look good" hissed Tomura
"dad's holding back also he's not making full use of his quirks" said Izumi the young girl was admittedly conflicted despite her decision to become a villain she still idolized the pro hero.
"Inko is probably close by, he cant use destructive quirk while she's near by" Shigiraki reasoned, Izumi agreed but remained silent as she watched her father fight the hero. After a moment Kurogiri's portal appeared in the room and coming thru it was Kurogiri and her mothers pod but they where not alone along with them was Dr. Garaki and a young man with burnt skin.
Izumi didn't know the boy and hissed activating her quirk and used it to form a wall of red flames between her allies and this stranger the older boy stepped back and turned to look at her, her eyes while green seemed to have a dangerous edge to them.
"stay back!" she ordered
"Izumi, stop!" commanded Kurogiri catching the girl off guard. "this man helped keep your mother alive" hearing this she dropped her flames and ran to the pod to check on her. The ground shook as a large man entered the room this man was Gigatomachia a faithful servant of Hiashi.
"Giga, help us!" called out Izumi getting the giants attention.
"the master's daughter needs help" said the large man who with instructions from Kurogiri brought the pod to where it would need to be connected
"All Might has just been critically wounded!" shouted a reporter from the TV looking towards the TV her father's right arm had changed into a grotesque mess of muscles gears and spikes and this arm had skewered All might, making the girls eyes widen as she saw All Might raise his right arm up and bulge making tears spring to her eyes
"DAD!" she shouted as the hero brought it down on Hiashi with a resounding
"UNITED STATES OF SMASH!" being announced the fist connected with Hiashi's face the following explosion destroyed the surrounding building even more and as the smoke cleared her father was on the ground his entire head looking like it was destroyed and there was so much blood! And All might stood over him with a raised arm and a triumphant grin on his face.
Seeing this many thoughts buzzed thru the girls mind as teared freely flowed down her eyes and then as Tomura took a step towards her it triggered something as Izumi's quirk activated and she screamed as a blazing red twister formed around her.
"No! Heroes just take everything! They refused to save my mom, they make this world corrupt! THEY! TOOK! MY! FATHER!" the girl screamed as the TV reporters began to celebrate All Might's victory "THIS WORLD NEED TO BE ERASED ALL OF IT!" she continued to shout. She continued to rage with her inferno quirk going out of control. Eventually her quirk ate up all the oxygen within it and the girl eventually passed out from there being no oxygen to breath.
When Izumi woke up she found herself in her bedroom with a splitting head ache sitting up she found a tray on her night stand with a glass of water and what looked like some pain killers. Swigging her legs over the side of the bed she took the medicine that had been left for her before her eyes looked up to where a poster of All might was stuck to the wall, this causing the memories of the day before to flash thru her mind. If a sudden spike of anger she thrust one of her hands out making the poster to be engulfed in flames.
Giving herself a moment to clam herself and get changed into clean clothes Izumi came out dressed in a pair of shorts and a black v-neck. Walking thru the halls she came to the large room that served as the room where she and Shigiraki trained she found a large circular scorch mark on the ground and also the TV that had displayed the hero's attack was gone with wiring and the mounts still being there it seemed like she wasn't the only one to let out their aggression.
"oh its you." said a unknown voice. Izumi turned making her see the older when you help Kurogiri save her mother.
"Thank you" said the girl her eyes never leaving the teen
"huh?"
"thank you you helped save my mother" said the girl heading to go in the direction she save Gigatomachia carrying her mothers pod yesterday.
"wait, that Kurogiri guy said her needed to speak with you" stated the stranger.
"where is he?" asked the girl.
"he said he'd be in All-for-one's office" he stated with his hands in her pockets. The greenette thanked him once more before returning to the hallways and towards the office of her father.
"Kurogiri you want…ed…" said the girl as she opened the door her eyes widening as what she saw. In her fathers chair was a man his head encased in a casing with tubes and cables connected to a few medical devices; Izumi recognized a life support, a heart monitor and a few others she didn't know right away.
"Izumi…" the man's voice despite being distorted and strained by the head case was recognizable as the voice of her father Hiashi Midoriya!
"Dad!" Izumi shouted running to his desk with tears in her eyes. "But how all might's punch-"
"it was a close call but Master survived thanks to the actions of Dr. Garaki but your father is still in a precarious condition." stated Kurogiri.
"Izumi, It'll be difficult but we won't let this stop us." said Hiashi, receiving a nod from his daughter.
1 year later
After the battle with All might in Kyoto things had changed Hiashi couldn't be as mobile as he once had been and so he had gone to the Nomu production facility in Kamino ward where Inko had also been moved. Inko's pod while not connected was limited in what it could do for the woman as a result it had caused her recovery date to be pushed back even more by a full years. The boy that had assisted them in the chaos who went by the name Dabi had been offered a position with them but he turned it down though he would do the odd job for Hiashi. During the last year Izumi had taken an active role as a Villain taking on jobs or even acting as a stand in when Hiashi would be needed these jobs she would end up sharing with Shigiraki. Dabi had also formed a friendship with the younger girl the two bonding over their similar quirks. Then about three months ago Izumi had been given a second quirk this quirk was called Analysis.
Analysis wasn't flashy like Inferno but Izumi came to consider this her favorite quirk it was a visual quirk that once activate she would need to see a quirk and even at a glance the quirk along with her mental capabilities would be able to understand the quirk in full and in some cases understand it better then the person who owned the quirk. Izumi had also taken on an alias at this time.
"Osore!" said a man his face and bald head was heavily scared dressed in a gray turtle with a long black leather trench coat and lastly black slacks. Before the man was a girl dressed in a dark green hoodie with her long mid back length hair tied back into a pony tail her face hidden but some kind of metallic face mask with a design that makes the mask mask look like a green mouth with a pair of filters on the mask, she also wore a pair of black slacks with knee length boots that had clasps on the side the boots also had a slight hell and where steel toed. Beside her stood Dabi.
"Ibiki" said a distorted feminine voice as she approached the elder man her eyes no longer holding the hopeful green now replaced by dull and calculating red orbs. "Do you have the information I requested for does Dabi need to make a visit your your wife"
"HA that's why I like you Ms. Osore straight to bossiness and no bullshit" said the man pulling out a tied up folder and handed it to the young woman who untied it and began looking thru the papers and documents
"thank you you'll get your payment in the normal fashion" said Osore turning to leave
"one more thing." he said making the girl pause. "when I was looking into this I kept running into an underground hero."
"whats your point?" asked Dabi with Narrowed eyes.
"nothing, just letting you know. the last thing I need is my best client to be arrested" stated Ibiki before melting down into the shadows of the building they were meeting in
"let it go Dabi, if there is a hero we'll see where he stands" said Osore continuing on her way out.
"why are you so interested in this hero killer any way?" asked Dabi as he followed Osore out and into the night air where Osore removed her mask and let out a sigh
"a few reasons actually" replied Izumi pulling her hood up as she placed the mask in a pocket on the inside of her hoodie. "firstly I want him to join us when father gives the word for us to hit the heroes, secondly right now he's little more then a rumor with no hard facts linking his killings together once people know for a fact the hero killer exists Tomura will want to recruit him witch I want to beat him to, and lastly I need someone that can teach me."
"teach you?" questioned Dabi with a raised brow.
"Kurogiri has helped in the basics of training and master our quirks but he can only go so far. Shigiraki believes he doesn't need to know how to know how to properly fight, that's going to come and bite him in the ass one day" explained Izumi.
"so you want this guy to train you how to properly fight?" he asked
"correct" said Izumi with a smile on her lips
"so you don't want him as a subordinate?"
"nope" Izumi said popping her P. "if I'm correct in what I'm guessing and in what his goal is he's sooner to want Shigiraki or even my father dead then want to work with us so I'll ask him to train me as a student and I'll show him I want true heroes also not… that" said the girl spitting the last word out as ahead of them was a fairly new hero Kamui woods said hero was showing off and just seeking attention. Just seeing this man reminded her of the hero who had left her and her mother to die all those years ago. A part of her wanted to attack the man and kill him as a message to the world but she knew it wasn't a time and doing so to a newly minted hero wouldn't make the impact needed and the media would be over the man's death in a few days.
"lets get going or we'll be late" said the girl crossing the road and took an alley to reach their destination in time. After about half an hour they arrived at the warehouse where the meeting was to take place. Entering Izumi with her mask in place could see Shigiraki with Kurogiri where waiting across from the four of them stood a man that the daughter of All-for-one grew to dislike due to his "professionalism" yet Shigiraki and her father both made use of the man. By the man where a couple of me in suits possibly being body guards.
"Giran, do you have the information?" questioned Shigiraki.
"Hmm, I do but I'm afraid what your asking wasn't easy to track down, so I'm afraid I'll need more then just money" stated the man with a leer.
"adding terms to the deal isn't smart Giran" stated Izumi making her presence known.
"About this you got here brat" said Shigiraki speaking as if Izumi was a subordinate
"Shigiraki we're allies, I don't work for you" said the girl with a threatening tone before her eyes returned to the Giran. "Giran you've done business for us for a long time, Sensei and Shigiraki value you" said the girl closing her eyes. "but your mistaken if I do" with this she snapped open her eyes making crimson flames you ignite around the older man and his body guards.
"Izumi!" growled Shigiraki, angered at the girls actions something she'd deal with later.
"O-Osore now there no need for that" said the man realizing he wasn't expecting this.
"Oh? I beg to differ. For years now Sensei has allowed you to operate unchecked, but I'm afraid I don't have the patience for a scum bag like you who thinks he can cheat All-for One!" said the Izumi. "so this is whats gonna happen: your gonna give us the information and for your insolence you'll only get half of what was originally agreed on"
"O-of course Miss Osore" said the man shivering.
"Good." said the girl in a calm voice the flames instantly extinguishing. Giran let out a sigh in relief and retrieved a folder from a suitcase he had with him and handed it off to Kurogiri who gave Giran a brown bag full of cash. "Now leave and don't repeat this mistake." once Giran had left the warehouse Shigiraki marched up to the girl who removed her mask.
"Izumi why do you continue to act this way Giran-" began the older teen
"Is a worm" stated Izumi retrieving a lollipop from her pocket before putting it in her mouth. "since Dad was injured and become not as active his allies" the girl saying like it was a foul taste in her mouth. "they have been acting bolder each passing month, they think since dad can't go to them and punish them they can get away with anything they want." said the girl.
"threatening our allies isn't going to help things" stated Shigiraki.
"correct but if we don't lay down the law they will lose respect for us and that is worse, now Giran will report this and the word will get out and the smart one will fall in line and the stupid will act out and that is when we put them down"
"that is sensible" commented Kurogiri gaining the attention of the two proteges.
"thank you Kurogiri" said Izumi with a smile.
"Shigiraki you need to understand there is more to running the master's empire then just maintaining alliances." commented Kurogiri as he opened a portal "are you coming Madam?"
"No I have another meeting to go to before I head back" said the girl with a wave before turning to Dabi "You should go and get your payment"
"Hmm fine." said the brunette as he strode to the portal along with Kurogiri
"Brat." said Shigiraki to get Izumi's attention
"Yes, Tomura?"
"be safe"
"hm, I could but there is no fun in that" this getting a chuckle from the older student before he entered the portal back to the bar.
Izumi has been stalking a hero on patrol for the past few hours the hero in question was an established hero who was well liked, flashy, and some one the girl never expected o see again after two and a half years. The hero was called Bestial and his quirk was Animalia the hero able to take on the features of an animal if he eats the meat or blood of said animal… his favorite being wolf. She did her research and what she found enraged the girl he had started to gain his popularity two and a half years ago when he saved people from a rock slide from there he had rose quickly. She honestly wanted to kill him but this man was the perfect target to draw out the hero killer.
"Thank you, now get home safe!" the hero said with a laugh before continuing on his way he would take a turn into an alley and so Izumi followed the hero upon entering the alley she noticed the hero was gone.
"did he notice he had a tail?" asked the girl as she walked further into the alley. "hm if he did I better get go-" began the girl before feeling someone behind her
"why have you been following me?" demanded a deep voice it was the voice of Bestial! "did a villain hire you?" Izumi's mind was racing for what to do but then she thought to see if she could scare him.
"no one hired me" she said before lowering her hood and turning to face the hero who upon seeing Izumi's face gasped and backed up.
"N-no it cant be!" said the hero his eyes wide and panicked.
"Oh do you recognize me?" asked the girl tilting her head like she was an innocent girl. "could it be from an autograph meet, a QnA?" asked the girl walking toward the hero positioning herself to make the hero walk deeper into the alley. "…or was it the day you left me to die!" Izumi finally announced. The hero falling back on her butt as the girls eyes glowed with her anger!
"but-"
"No buts! You saw me I called for help and you ignored it and covered it up!" Izumi shouted "you left a little girl and her mother to die at the bottom you made me die!" she howled the last part of flames ignited around her and the hero. The hero began blubbering in attempts to ask for forgiveness.
"I had plans for you dear hero" the girl spiting the word like it was venom. "I was going to leave you to draw out someone I needed, but plans change you deserve to be punished for what you did to me and my mother!" the Girl attacked the hero tearing into him with her quirk and also a dagger she withdrew from her hoodie. Unaware that the girl was being observed from above eyes that watched the girl's action with attention and a manic grin.
"hero…" said the voice full of amusement.

That's it for this chapter we got some character development and learning of dynamics an hey Dabi has become involved with the league of villains sooner then canon now some clarification Izumi has two quirks that are not her natural quirk both gifts from All-for-one witch have been explained they will be growing and developing as the story goes on also she will get more as time goes on.
I read the reviews and love them now one of my reviews got my attention was asking what Izumi's Alias "Osore" mean. To answer that question it means "fear" I spent a lot of time on deciding on Osore.
