The Day Dream

This is a very short update . Hope you will enjoy. I believe this is the shortest chapter I have written.

Apologies in advance for any grammar mistakes and for possible typos. Its just past mid night and I really wanted to get this out of my head.

The darkness was fading, the birds are starting to sing as if telling the world that it was a start of another beautiful day. Sun started to take a peak, greeting rest of the world.

What a beautiful morning! The surrounding was still cold and green because it was a morning after a rainy day. You still can feel the morning breeze and cold.

A certain king was fast sleep in his quarters. A door slowly opened and a person started to take very careful steps, afraid of making any noise. The said person was leaving a trail of small water droplets on the floor; as it was just after her morning bath. The Gentle Queen had a wicked smile on her face as the king was sleeping. She holds her long hair and started to shake, so that small water droplets would fall into a certain king's face who was sleeping peacefully.

Caspian suddenly woke up, feeling water spraying on his face and sees the most beautiful thing in the world. He smiles and grabs her hands and pulls her to him. She playfully struggles to get away from him, but he does not let her go. After a while they stop and started to look into each other's eyes. Slowly…. very slowly both are leaning into each other. Then suddenly…THUD! Both of them fell out of the bed and finally Caspian woke up.

The young king is trying to find his surroundings. Where is Susan, why its so bright. He thinks and finally realizes it was just a day dream.

Earlier that day he was taking a walk, after the breakfast, and has fallen sleep on a rock. Caspian checked his surrounding again to make sure that no one saw he falls. He smiles at his silliness. Even in his dreams; Gentle Queen is the only thing he can dream of. However, he still could feel coolness on his face; he checked it was a dream then how his face was wet? Then he saw a bird… no it couldn't be. He again takes a look at the birds. He sees some more bird dropping. Nope. that did not happen. He shakes his head and started to walk back to the castle.

Two Kings were having the best time of their lives. Edmund and Peter were laughing at Caspian for the last hour or so. Caspian was growling.

"It's not funny Ed" Caspian is frustrated now.

"You are right Caspian it's not funny, it's hilarious. Wait till I tell this to Susan" Edmund says laughing harder than he did before.

"What is hilarious?" Susan and Lucy also joined the three kings.

"Ah nothing." Caspian said.

"Yeah nothing. Its just bird's droppings" Edmund stated giving a wicked smile.

Caspian gave a stern look at Edmund. Thank God I never mentioned the entire dream to them. He thought.

Susan took a seat next to Caspian and gave a quick kiss on his cheek. His entire expression changed.

"I just threw-up inside my mouth. You two are sickeningly sweet. If that is a word" Edmund said.

"Shut up Ed! Leave them be. We can see when you fall for someone" The eldest finally spoke.

"Oh yes. That day I will have my revenge" Susan said smiling.

"Yes Ed, what goes around comes around. You should really remember that" Lucy said agreeing with others and smiling.

"As much as I love this union I have a meeting. Come on Ed." Peter stood up , calling his younger brother and sister.

That left the young lovers alone.

"Only you Caspian" Susan said laughing.

The young king finally told Susan about his crazy dream and she too thought is was the funniest thing. He didn't mind she was teasing him. but was thrilled young queen found it was a fascinating story.

"Well what can I do? I am hopelessly in love with you. That's why these things are bound to happen to me." He said joining her laugh.

He gives her a small kiss which she returns.

In the background the sun was going down. Indeed it was a beautiful day irrespective of certain bird and a day dream.
