When a company of ODSTs drop on New Mombasa to reinforce the ground operations against the Covenant, they are caught in an inter-atmospheric Slipspace jump. Where that jump leads will take those men from notoriety, to legend.

Tonya B-312 is saved from her death by a team of Spartans. That is where she meets Kelly S-087. While they are on patrol in the tunnels under Castle Base they find a what looks like a slip space portal. They are sucked into it before they have time to tell anybody about it and they find themselves on Eden Prime while Shepard is looking for the Prothean Beacon.
