The main characters are Commander Angel Sun Shepard, Kaidan Alenko and Thane Krios. The time stamp of the Creeping Black is set to 2183 - 2185 (time of ME1) and follows the romace between Shepard and Alenko, and at times casts spotlight to Krios.
