OS/Ficlet - after the finale. Merlin remembers. It hurts, oh it hurts so much.

Post-Series. Reincarnation. Merthur. Arthur had never felt like a little boy, not really. He's only heard of the great sorcerer, Emrys, in the news, all pictures of him in his elderly guise. No one knows his true appearance. A lowly peasant, Arthur has no prospects other than to survive in a king-less kingdom, until he meets a familiar stranger named Merlin.

I actually wrote this before 5x13 but now it is relevant.

(FINAL EPISODE SPOILERS) Merlin gets his totally awesome destiny laid out in full ahead of time.

A continuation of the final episode and some of the events leading up to the last scene, with a snippet of things to come. Not necessarily Merthur, unless you're squinting. SPOILERS.

Fighting to keep Camlann, Gwaine is in danger through Morgana, which the only hope of saving him is Percival. Note, contains spoilers from the final episode.

AU Merlin - Arthur and the knights have left Camelot in search for the Fountain of Youth, leaving Merlin in charge of Camelot. Merlin, not feeling as if the man for the job, goes on a quest of his own to find a man worthy enough to take care of the Kingdom and loyal enough not to ruin all that Arthur has worked so hard to make Camelot into.
