Hello, everyone. This is Raychiu and I am bringing you a new story called Ash's Ceolis Story. If you want to know, this is a fangame called Pokemon Spork and the creator is called Ice Cream Sand Which. If you want to know more about this game, check out the Pokemon Reborn website. Anyways, let's get to the story.
Chapter 1 A New Beginning
Ash Ketchum is a trainer who has just won the World Coronation Series against Leon, the Galar Champion. After a day of celebration, he is approached by his younger sister Emily. Unlike Ash, Emily only has a Buneary and she isn't a trainer yet, but she aims to become the Champion of the Ceolis Region. Hearing about this region, Ash decides to challenge the place as well since he wants to have a vacation from the 8 regions he has traveled to.
While riding the boat there, Arceus has given Ash a dream, telling him that Ceolis Region might be plagued by an evil organization similar to Team Rocket, and Ash knows that as the Chosen One of Arceus, he has to stop them. In return, Arceus gives both Ash and Emily the ability to talk to Pokemon, much to their delight.
After arriving at Virima Hotel, Ash and Emily are now having a rest that night.
?: Hi there!
Ash is now in a black room as he looks around, he finds a Litwick greeting them.
Ash: (In a scared tone) A Litwick? Don't tell me you're here to suck my life force...
Litwick: (Chuckles) I can see that you're a sleepyhead! Do you need help remembering anything, sleepyhead?
Ash: (Confused) Remember what? I don't think I have gotten Amnesia."
Litwick: You and your little sister, Emily, are on vacation in the Ceolis region. Both of you have Pokemon, but neither of you has battled against each other before.
Ash: (Annoyed) I know I haven't battled my little sister before, but that's because we just got reunited.
Litwick: This vacation could be a good opportunity to start. The beginning of a new adventure! Which of these are you?
Ash sees that there are three figures in front of him, one is himself, the second one is the time when he was forced to wear a maid costume in the Sinnoh Region, and the final one is obviously a female version of him.
Ash: (Feels offended) I am a boy, thank you. Just why do you have those pictures of me?
Litwick: Great! So what's your name? Or should I just call you Sleepyhead?
Ash: I have a name and it's Ash. (Now really annoyed and wants to strangle the Ghost Type Pokemon.)
Litwick: Alright! Just one more question. I remember that Emily has a Buneary, but... I can't seem to remember what Pokemon you have. Could you remind me?
Ash is suddenly taken to a place with eight rooms, each of the rooms represent a region, Ash says, "I only have Pikachu with me, so I should go to Kanto section..."
But as he goes to Kanto Section, he can't believe there are a total of 151 Pokemon inside.
Ash: (Looking for Pikachu) I could just choose a Legendary Pokemon, but Pikachu is my Pokemon.
After finding Pikachu, it suddenly comes alive and jumps onto Ash's shoulder.
Litwick: Alright! And with that, I think it is time for you to get ready! Have fun and be safe in your travels! Maybe we'll meet again!
Suddenly, Litwick disappears, and a bright light envelops Ash. When he wakes up, he finds himself on the bed with Pikachu sleeping beside him.
Ash: (sighs in relief) So it is a dream...but it feels so real...
At the same time, Emily is already wakened up and she opens the window, happy to see the view of Virima City.
Emily: (Breaths in the air) Okay, I think I'm all packed now...now I just have to wait for Ash to wake up.
She turns around and sees Ash sitting on the bed thinking about the Litwick in his dreams.
Emily: Oh hey, Ash! I was so busy packing I didn't notice you were up! Did you sleep well?
Ash sighs, as he knows that he should be the older sibling here, but Emily likes to act like she is the older one, but Ash doesn't mind at all.
Ash: Other than a talking Litwick in my dream, everything is fine.
Emily: Huh? You had a dream about a Litwick that seemed to know who we are? That's so silly! (Laughs)
Ash: (Laughing with her) I know, it sure is silly.
Emily: Although I wonder if it could've been real...some Pokemon have pretty amazing powers, so you'll never know! Just like Arceus that we met the other day, right?
Ash: (Thinking) Yeah...Arceus is not weird as Litwick.
Emily: For now though, I think you should start getting ready. You wouldn't want to leave without your shoes and Pokegear, would you?
Emily hands over the Pokegear to Ash, who accepts it without hesitation, then Ash also wears his own running shoes.
Emily: And here's Fresh Water! I got one for each of us.
Ash takes the bottle and drinks some, he doesn't forget to give some to Pikachu, who is drinking happily.
Emily: By the way, I was wondering...we've never battled before, and we're about to start our vacation here in Ceolis. How about we kick off our vacation with our first battle?
Ash: Here in our room? I guess it's fine for me.
Ash has Pikachu prepared for the battle, and it is sparking electricity on his cheeks. As for Emily, she sends out her Buneary.
Ash: I'll give you the first move, think wisely, Emily.
Emily: Thanks, Ash. Buneary, let's use Pound!
Buneary charges at Pikachu and uses its ears to slam Pikachu, Pikachu is blocking the attack, and he can feel the damage from the Pokemon as well.
Ash: Pikachu, use Double Kick!
Pikachu, being the one who defeated a lot of Legendary Pokemon, even the Champion, uses a weak Double Kick, and it defeats Buneary with ease.
Emily: (Recalling her Buneary and using the Heal Machine beside her) Wow... my heart is racing after that. I kinda figured being your younger sister would give me the edge, but you are so strong! I wasn't sure if I'd win. I guess me being the younger sibling doesn't really matter that much when I am just inexperienced, haha.
Ash: (Pats her head like she is a younger child) Don't worry, sis. You'll become better than me in the future.
Emily: (Sigh) Win or lose, I'm happy my first ever battle was against you, Ash!
Ash: (Chuckles) I'm glad to be your first opponent. So what are you going to do now?
Emily: I guess I'll be heading out now. Meet me at the tourist info center! Also, the Tamato Berry on the table is for you. See you in a little bit!
After that, Emily rushes out of the Hotel Room, and Ash turns to Pikachu.
Ash: What do you say, buddy? How about we explore the Hotel?
Pikachu gives a thumbs-up as they start to explore the whole hotel.
As they go into other rooms, they have battled some of the tourists in the area. But when they go into an empty room, they find an Espurr who is staring at Ash endearingly.
Ash: Do you want to come with me? (Noticing her eyes)
Espurr nods as Ash takes out a Pokeball, capturing the Espurr. Then he goes upstairs and continues to battle other people. But when he goes into the final room, he sees a tourist who is reading books while leaving the PC on. Ash notices the PC website says the Underwater Hotel.
Tourist Jordan: (Notices Ash and Pikachu looking at the website) Oh hey! I meant to clear the history on that computer earlier today, but I forgot to. I'm a hotel connoisseur. I've always wanted to visit the Underwater Hotel, but I kind of needed to stay here for a while as a starting point.
Ash: (Confused) But why? I mean, can't you just go to the Underwater Hotel?
Tourist Jordan: Don't get me wrong, I have no complaints about this hotel. I just don't want them to think there's something wrong with it because I was looking at another one. Since you're already over there, would you mind clearing the search history?
Ash nods as he cleans the search history on the website, and Jordan takes out something blue and shiny from his bag.
Tourist Jordan: Thanks, friend. You can have this. (Hands over the Marble)
Ash: (takes the blue and shiny marble and he just looks at it.) What is this? What can it do?
Tourist Jordan: I found this here yesterday. There's apparently a hunt all across the region for these, but I'm not interested in it.
Ash: I see...maybe I'll try to hunt them all.
Then he walks downstairs to the first floor, as they see some people gathering around talking, and in front of them is a talking Mr. Rime.
Mr. Rhyme: Mic check 1 2, it's Mr. Rhyme coming through. To the Ceolis region I'm here to welcome you. Whether you've been here before or this is your first tour I hope you'll love everything from the mountain to the shore. Thank you for choosing us as your destination. I'm sure you have a fantastic vacation. And if you like this hotel, let them know about your day. They work hard so you'll have a wonderful stay. Maybe on your trip, we'll cross paths again. Until then hang ten like Darmanitan Zen.
Then the people disperse and Ash is just thinking "What the hell."
Receptionist: (Notices Ash and calls him) Summer is our busy season, but we've been doing our best to keep up with everything!
She gives Ash an item known as Quick Claw, and Ash just puts it into his pocket.
Receptionist: With one of these, you might be able to keep up no matter how fast-paced or hectic a situation is!
Ash: Thanks for the gift.
He also notices a swimming pool, and he finds another Marble in the middle of the pool, since he just got one, why not get another one. And he also gets to a small cafe and he orders some Lava Cookies and a cup of Moomoo Milk.
Once he is finished with the meal, he notices the Training Room, where there are six sections, and each section has 8 different Pokemon as well.
Ash: Since we are here, how about we try to capture some Pokemon? Pikachu?
Pikachu nods as they first go into the HP Room. There are Caterpie, Wurmple, Hoothoot, Bidoof, Whismur, Munna, Igglybuff, and, Azurill. Ash already has a Butterfree and a Shiny Noctowl, so he decides to catch other ones, and he decides to capture a Wurmple, thinking of what it will evolve into, and he also captures a Munna, considering he is lacking Psychic Type Pokemon. Fairy Type is also what Ash lacks, so he captures an Azurill.
In the Attack Room, there are Pidove, Spinarak, Sentret, Patrat, Bellsprout, Paras, Lillipup, and Teddiursa. Ash already has an Unfezant, but the Pokemon is handed over to his mother. After learning how Delia is the Kanto Champion, Ash decides to transfer some of his Pokemon to his mother so that she can train them to become stronger. He captures a Spinarak and a Lillipup.
In the Defense Room, there are Scatterbug, Kricketot, Nincada, Sewaddle, Bonsly, Seedot, Pineco, and Exeggcute. Ash already has a Leavanny, but he decides to capture a Scatterbug, a Nincada, a Bonsly, a Seedot, a Pineco, and an Exeggcute, as they are interested in joining Ash.
In the Special Attack Room, there are Sunkern, Cherubi, Budew, Oddish, Petilil, Mareep, Psyduck, and Natu. Ash decides to capture a Budew, two Oddish, a Petilil, a Natu, and a Mareep, with them also wanting to come with Ash.
In the Special Defense Room, there are Hoppip, Ledyba, Lotad, Venonat, Burmy, Flabebe, Swablu, and Cleffa. Ash captures a Lotad, a Venonat, a White Colored Flabebe, a Swablu, and a Cleffa.
And finally, in Speed Room, there are Pidgey, Wingull, Taillow, Spearow, Zigzagoon, Rattata, Cottonee, and Pichu. Ash already has a Pidgeot, a Swellow who is with his mother, and Pikachu of course, so he captures a Spearow and a Cottonee.
Ash: We did have a lot of good training, I guess it is time we should go out of the hotel.
Pikachu: Of course, let's go!
Ash and Pikachu then check out their hotel room as they step out of the hotel, going to find what is out there in the world.
At the same time, Lillie and Gladion are riding on the ship, and Lillie has her Snowy evolved into Ninetales, as she feels like it is ready. The two Aether siblings are here for the vacation, as they finally find their father.
Lillie: Look Snowy, that is the Ceolis Region! (Points at the land in front of them)
Snowy looks at the place with a smile, and at the same time, Gladion walks towards them.
Gladion: Lillie, we are going to arrive, shouldn't you go pack your stuff and return your Pokemon?
Lillie: I'll go do that.
Lillie and Ninetales rush back indoors, smiling as she notices a picture on the table.
Lillie: Ash...I hope I can see you again...
So here is the first chapter, and I'm trying to do this kind of writing since I have never tried it out before. I also rewrite this whole story so that it will be Ash and Lillie pairing, and Gladion and Emily pairing. I hope you like it and please comment on the chapter.
