He felt the last of his dreams slip away from him as the conscious world began invading his sleep. There was a familiar sound shaking him from slumber that he couldn't quite recognize in his half-asleep state. As it sounded off again his eye snapped open. It was the unmistakable sound of his alarm clock constantly ringing from him to awaken.
"Ugh... I don't wanna get up!" He stares at the ceiling "I gotta go to school though..." he sluggishly gets out bed and walks towards his bathroom.
He looks into the mirror to see his unkept black hair and tired expression, he wished that today was a half day but he knew that today was a special day.
He starts to clean himself while brushing his teeth he wanted to for once look good for today, After he was done getting himself together in the bathroom he exits to grab his phone from his bed.
"Alright let's see what time I have to be in
school"
He turns on his phone to check the time, he remains calm for a short moment.
"Well isn't that just great I only have 15 minutes to get in class"
he quietly chuckled to himself before quickly heading towards his drawer to pick out some pants along with a T shirt.
When he was done putting on his clothes, he walked out his room and closed the door behind him then he walked down the stairs heading towards the kitchen for some food before heading out. After he turns on the light, he heads inside the kitchen and walks to the refrigerator and opens it. he sees toast wrapped up in plastic foil with a note on it he picks up the note and reads it "Sorry Kane! Left out for work early. I made toast for you! Have a good day!"
He sees a heart at the end of it, he gave a smile towards his mother's note at that moment he felt appreciation towards his mother. He takes the toast and eats it while quickly walking towards the front door, he opens the door to see the sun beating down from the sky as the sounds of insects and the rustling of the trees filled the peaceful environment surrounding his neighborhood.
He pulls out his phone to see he only had 10 minutes until the school bell rings "10 minutes?" He blatantly says as if 10 minutes was a piece of cake for him to easily get to school on time, he then pulls out a circular white disk from his pocket and he lowers it to the ground. It strangely floated in the air for a short duration before it started quickly expanding transforming into a alien like hoverboard that continued to hover in the air.
He then jumps on the hoverboard ready to take off
"Sometimes I gotta love the perks of mom's stupid job"
He quipped to himself as he starts to levitate higher into the air before zooming into the sky heading towards the school at high speeds. As he was in the air, he loved the winds blowing in the face raising his adrenaline rising higher then he currently was in the clouds. he felt more alive then he ever did on the ground he constantly keeps soaring in the air he was almost at the school building.
But then he heard a noise from above him, he flies up higher to see what was the source of the ever growing noise was. his eyes slightly widen in joy as he saw 4 ships with a black and gold color pattern landing near his school, what stood out about the alien space crafts were that they each had a yellow and red banner streaking in the air as they landed. he stood still in the air for a couple of minutes staring at the ships that landed on the surface
He quickly snapped out of his stupor and and checked his phone. 4 minutes left he knew he had to hurry he can't be late especially not on this day, he zooms downwards to the building and lands as gracefully as he could. he got off his hoverboard and the device quickly shrinks down to its original form, Kane grabs the circular disk and puts it in his pocket and runs towards the doors of the school building. he opens the doors of the school to see an empty hallway
He gave a sigh of relief thinking that he wouldn't have to push aside a crowd of students to get to his first period class. he started immediately jogging to class and not directly running to conserve energy, and not look like a sweaty pig in front of everyone. He took a left and he saw his class two classrooms ahead of him, he smirked at how easy it is "I honestly don't see how I can screw up getting to class like this, what can go wrong?" He placed a high amount of confidence in himself that he wouldn't be late by the time class starts.
He walks to the classroom without any worries of being late, as he went past the second classroom the door slowly creaked behind him Kane didn't notice it because there was no noise coming from the door opening. As the door was slightly opened a hand shot out ready to grab Kane from behind, but fortunately Kane turned around and quickly reacted by grabbing the hand that was going to grab him. "Nice try Jared but you're gonna have to be better then this"
Kane pulls on the hand forcing the person out the empty classroom leading him tumbling to the ground. Kane looked at Jared with a face that said it was already done with his nonsense Jared picked himself up, and put his hands on his torn up blue hoodie flipping his platinum hair from his eyes and stared back at Kane with eyes full of pent up aggression. they both stared at each other both of them waiting for one to make a move
It almost felt like an eternity of just them staring at each other until Jared gives a tired sigh and turned his back on Kane. "I'll get you back eventually for what you did to me" he practically growled at Kane while flipping his hood over his head, he then walks away from Him and heads to his own class. when he sees Jared leave the area Kane immediately goes inside the classroom and closes the door behind him. ~RING~ he hears the bell ring and silently cheers to himself in victory that he made it on time
He slides down on the floor while heavily panting "Ah yes welcome Mr Jackson, I'm glad you finally joined us sit down" Kane immediately gets up from the floor and walks towards his seat. he sees the students around him murmuring amongst themselves, Kane couldn't make out what they were saying because they were talking too low for him to hear. Kane sits at his desk and next to him was a girl she wore a black and white shirt with stripes, she wore slim black reading glasses, her hair was tied in a pony tail and she was shooting him the usual glances he receives every time he was late
he was used to it but that didn't mean he liked getting it from her he gave a deep sigh at her stare "Don't even give me that I wasn't even late" "tu étais proche d'être en retard" he gave out another sigh at her reasoning for being upset at him he knew that he was close to being late to class but he technically made it in time "But I wasn't though I made it by a minute that's not fair of you to do that to me" Sam was about to speak the teacher coughed to bring the attention to her everyone in the class looked towards the teacher,
She smiled at the class as she sat down to give an announcement to the class "Attention class, I hope we all know today is a special day that involves our great protectors of earth. I hope you all enjoy the presentation you may all come in now"
The door opens and reveals 5 soldiers that wore similar matching colors of red and black, one of them wore a cape around them and was slightly built bigger then the rest. as they came inside the classroom the class all shout a gasp and looked in curiosity and some small few only felt absolute fear.
"I would like to present the Galactic power force aka the G.P.F" The teacher announces the elite soldiers with admiration and respect,
"What do these guys do again? I can't really remember" one of the students questions the teacher was about to respond when one of the soldiers came up."Well you see little guy we're the type of unit that specializes in battles no other soldiers can fight in without it quickly being turned into a suicide mission" Kane was very interested in this elite unit and how they operated and functioned. he rose his hand and the G.P.F soldier noticed his hand and pointed at Kane "Yes you kid what is it?"
"Well I actually have two questions, my first one would be are you guys skilled enough to take on a Vaxasaurian?"
"Yes we are capable of taking down a single Vaxasaurian especially the stronger bigger version"
"One more question sir who's the leader in your group?"
The elite member simply chuckles at the question Kane gave him like it was obvious who it was
"Kid it's clearly me I'm the taskmaster leading the group of wild Vulpimancers"
One of the soldiers with the cape comes up from behind putting their hand on his back
"It's obvious you've forgotten your place Vulpimancer here let me help you back to your herd"
The soldier behind him takes hold of his hand and twists his arm, the supposed one in charge squeals in pain as the class laughed at his pain. the other soldier that was behind him forces his teammate to turn around, and pushed him towards his other teammates
"Now then to answer your question I'm the one that's actually in charge I am designated as Atom smasher" he presented himself with a clear superior tone amongst everyone else.
"And the rest you can just address them by unskilled Calvary Now enough questions let's get to the story of how peace day was created and why we should celebrate it every year"
He explains to the class as he motioned to his fellow team members to grab the screen projector and put it in front of the teachers desk and turned it on as it was starting to play a video
Greetings other life forms of other planets and earth my name is professor Zaydon Smith and I am going to tell the story of why going off planet is prohibited and why peace day is an important yearly event. Now before the universal law was created there were wars across the universe planets battling it out with other planets, Annihilation on a galactic scale*
warlords and crime lords alike conquering weaker planets to rule over ones who couldn't fight back, otherworldly drugs delivered planet to planet that almost destroyed planets such as Prypiatos and Aldabra, slavery over 10 planets by the planet conquerers themselves.
the council has had enough of the unnecessary cruelty across the universe and has put up a poll seen in all corners determining whether to either put all planets in a permanent stage of lockdown from each other so the wars and chaos could be put to an end, or {REDACTED}.*
Once the votes have been tallied and the majority outclassing the minority the galactic council has decided to lock all planets from each other and to keep the current species in their natural born habitats. and peace and stability was brought into the universe*
The teacher turns off the projector and turns to the class.
"Do any of you have any questions about the presentation?"
The G.P.F member asked to everyone in the class, Nobody responded the room was silent for a few moments.
"Well I have great news for you all tomorrow we will take a trip to the desert"
"Why the desert? Isn't that the most boring and humid place on earth why would I wanna go there?" A student said amongst the other students. some thought the same thing as of why the desert of all places,
"Well if you don't wanna see all the cool wreckage and ships laying around the place then I guess you don't have to go"
"Now hold on I never said I didn't want to go"
The student corrected himself quickly realizing how cool it would be to be inside an abandoned space ship.
Sam rose her hand for a question
"What's your question girl?"
"I just wondered if there won't be any eventful accidents like last year where students rode into that big gorge and nearly died?"
The Elite soldier cleared his throat so Sam could properly hear his answer better.
"Well unlike last year Sammy hopefully the students here aren't brainless cattle riddled with brain tumors does that answer your question?"
The entire classroom turned silent at what he just said including Kane who was shocked to hearing that from there supposed kind protector maybe he meant that as a joke? a really bad one? his brain came up with poor excuses as to why he said that
"Well I hope you all have a nice day today cause tomorrow is going to be the best one of your lives...let's move it troops!" He commanded his teammates to leave the classroom and slam the door behind them, the classroom was filled with silence although they were excited for the trip they were a bit wary of the G.P.F and how their leader acted. someone from the back of the rose their hand the teacher noticed them
"Yes you Mika what's your question?"
"Um yes did anyone else notice that guy had a really tight ass?"
The entire class stared at her with a questioning look
"What I say? we all saw his ass and how tight it I wasn't the only one"
"Please just shut up Mika why would you even bring that up?"
Sam questioned her logic as to why would she say that
"Because it looked so-"
"Go to the principal office Mika"
"But-"
"Go now before I have you suspended"
