Chapter 53 Dark Dungeon Part 1
Ash and Lillie are now down the Norall Mountain as they arrive at the entrance of Dark Dungeon, and it seems like not only Draga is here, but also another person who is trying to comfort her.
Natalie: Hey, are you okay? You've been standing completely still here for a while.
Draga: (Surprised at the sudden appearance) Oh, s-sorry… was I in your way? I'm just really scared of this cave...I'm scared of things in general, but especially this cave...It's so dark in there...Every time I leave Tullborn, this happens...I could just fly over on one of my Pokemon, but I'm afraid of heights too...
Natalie: Well, then I'd be the perfect guide! Whether it's the open sky or a creepy cave, I enjoy being in both.
Draga: (Delighted) R-really? You'll help me?
Natalie: Of course! I couldn't just leave you like this.
Draga: (Notices Ash and Lillie) Oh, hi Ash and Lillie! Thanks again for your help with the bridge and cave! You can probably tell, but Jangmo-o evolved during our journey!
Ash: (Notices the Kommo-o) Congratulations. But what are you doing here?
Draga: Kommo-o needed to stop and rest here, so I've been waiting for it.
Natalie: Ash and Lillie! Are you headed through here too? That means you'll have three bodyguards now! I can speak from experience that Ash and Lillie are good trainers, but I see you've already met, too.
Draga: That makes me feel better! (Turns to Kommo-o) Kommo-o, I know you were going to go home too after we got to Tullborn, and Premoggin is in the other direction. You're probably eager to let your family and friends know you've evolved too. If you wanted to go home from here, I think I'll be okay getting through with Ash, Lillie, and Natalie.
Kommo-o gives a roar and leaves, Draga waves her hand at the Dragon Pokemon.
Draga: Have a safe trip back home! I'll be sure to visit someday!
The others are doing the same as they wave goodbye to the Kommo-o.
Draga: Ash, Lillie, Natalie, I'm ready when you are!
Ash: Good.
After that's done, they enter the Dark Dungeon.
The Dark Dungeon is dark, as the name implies. There are a lot of doors, but some of the doors just teleport them to the front. As for the Pokemon that are resting here, there are Zubats and Golbats, which are common in the Dark Dungeon, and there are also Dark Type Pokemon like Alolan Raticate, Scraggy, Sneasel, Pawniard, Deino, and Sableye.
Ash: This place and Opaque Valley are filled with Dark Type Pokemon...though I already have a Crobat and a Scrafty, as well as a Weavile. How about we try to capture some other Pokemon?
Lillie: Then I'll capture a Pawniard and a Deino. I know both of them are from Unova, and they are very strong if they become a Bisharp and a Hydreigon.
Ash: You're right, but Hydreigon has the highest level to evolve in the Pokemon world. As for me, I'll capture an Alolan Raticate and a Sableye.
Lillie: Why Raticate? I mean, there are a lot of them back in Alola and they like to steal food.
Ash: But that means they are strong as well. And for Sableye, it is also a Pokemon capable of Mega Evolve.
Ash captures an Alolan Raticate who is running past them, and then a Sableye, as he knows that it is one of the Pokemon capable of Mega Evolving. As for Lillie, she captures a Pawniard and a Deino using Rufflet and Vullaby, and they both evolve into Braviary and Manidbuzz. By training both Pokemon, Pawniard and Deino also evolve into Bisharp and Zweilous in the end.
After walking a while, they find a white light in front of them.
Natalie: What's with this light? I've never seen this here before...
Draga: Me neither...
Lillie: Could it be a Pokemon's doing?
Just then, the light is trying to absorb them and they are forced to cover their eyes. After a while, they manage to open their eyes again.
Draga: Where are we ...?
They look around as they see a bed, some books, and a TV, a healing machine, and so on.
Ash: This looks like somebody's house...
Natalie: I'm guessing the light transported us here, but I have no idea where we are...or how to get back.
But as they turn around, they see a girl standing in front of them, and the girl is no other than the Ghost Type Gym Leader: Gina.
Ash: Wait, you're Gina?
And then they hear a loud growl from the girl's belly as she blushes with embarrassment, she also gives a shy nod to confirm that she is Gina.
Lillie: It sounds like she's hungry.
Draga: Maybe we should look for food?
Natalie: Might as well, maybe Gina will know something that can help us.
After that, they decide to all head to the kitchen, as they see a Sableye that was cooking.
Natalie: (Speechless at the sight) Something tells me I shouldn't question this.
Draga just gives an O.O face, as Ash and Lillie are shrugging, they know that some Pokemon like Mr. Mime can cook a good meal.
Ash: I remember Gina's Sableye is called...something from Tarot...
Lillie: I remember, it is Empress.
After putting the meal on the plate, the Sableye is talking human, which didn't happen in the Gym Battle before.
Empress: Dinner will be ready in just a minute!
Ash and Lillie nod as they look around, they find that there is a door that is actually a crayon drawing, which is not the real door.
Lillie: What are we going to do now?
Ash: We should tell Gina that the dinner is ready.
As they all head back to Gina's room, Ash and Lillie tell her that the dinner is almost finished, and she just licks their faces before leaving.
Lillie: Not again...
But after a bright light, they are now back to the Dark Dungeon. They are now standing at the place where the white light is, and the light reveals to be a door.
Natalie: And we're back.
Draga: (Confused) What just happened? Was that even real?
Ash: I have no clue, but the light's gone now, so we can proceed.
Lillie: Let's go to Tullborn as fast as possible.
They continue their path as they see a gate with a red-eyed person guarding it.
?: Sorry, we're not accepting visitors right now. Please come back later.
Ash and Lillie are confused, but they didn't get inside to see what's in there, so they head left as they enter a room filled with Red, Blue, Green, and Purple Crystals, and there are a lot of Sableye as well.
Sableye: Welcome to our Gem Hoard! Just kidding, we don't actually own these gems! They grow here naturally, and we like to make places like this our home!
Draga: (Looks around) This place sure is beautiful...I never know that in such a dark place like this, there will be a place filled with colors...
Ash: You're right, it sure is amazing just by looking at the crystals here.
As they walk forward, they find a Cyndaquil who is playing with the Sableye. Both Pokemon are playing happily as if they forget what time it is and how long they have been playing.
Lillie: Hey, Ash...I think this is the Cyndaquil that the man from Tinder Village mentioned that would come here to play.
Ash: So we have found the Cyndaquil, we have to remember that it would be back to Tinder Village.
Just then, they hear a scream, and they see something that they aren't expecting. A Guzzlord is slowly approaching them, as its big mouth terrifies every Sableye and Cyndaquil in the room.
Lillie: (Groans and rolls her eyes) Really? Another Ultra Beast? And what did it have to be Guzzlord!
Natalie: You know this one? It sure has a giant mouth...
Ash: Yeah, I still remember the time back in the Manalo Conference, before I was given the Alolan Champion, three of them appear and attack the stadium. That was not a good experience if you ask me.
Lillie: It is a dangerous Ultra Beast, it appears to be eating constantly, but for some reason, its droppings have never been found.
Natalie: But that Sableye is in trouble, we have to save it.
Lillie: It is a good thing that Snowy is a Ninetales. Use Dazzling Gleam!
Snowy uses the Fairy move as it attacks Guzzlord, and because it is four times super effective, Guzzlord faints in the end.
Ash: That sure is easy...but very fishy as well.
Draga: That Guzzlord is also a Dragon Type, right?
Then Draga starts to feel Guzzlord's feelings, and after a while, she nods.
Draga: Don't worry, this Guzzlord is a friendly one, it just wants to play with the Sableye. After seeing your strength, there is no doubt that it wants to join your team.
Ash: Okay...
Then Ash throws a Pokeball and captures the Guzzlord. Cyndaquil is a little terrified at the Pokemon as it rushes away.
Lillie: I guess it is going back to Tinder Village...
Ash: Yeah...Let's not bother the Sableye and go right next.
Natalie: I agree.
Here is a new chapter, and I decide to split this into two parts. As you can see, Ash and Lillie capture another Ultra Beast, this time it is Guzzlord, as Ash and Lillie had bad memories about it because of the Mahalo Conference. I hope you like this chapter and the next chapter will be revealing the mystery of the white light.
