(A WHDAA spin-off) The cast had just finished watching Arc 4. The tensions are high. The mood is in the ground, and many people want a certain Margave head, but suddenly, a new voice made itself know, proposting them something...interesting. (Cover made by me, though the elements used to made it are not my property, you can find them in internet)

2. Chapter 2

Hello again my dear readers, here we are with the chapter two of this fic.

But first let me say one thing, Thank you all for the support, only the first chapter and this story is over 80 favs and 100 follows, man you all gonna make me cry.

Thank you, really, it really motivates me to continue this story. Now some people are asking which route will be shown, and I will respond with another question, what route do YOU think will happen? It's Subaru we are talking about, I think the answer it's pretty obvious, but he will still have struggles, that's the eternal curse on his character, damn you Tappei, but also I can't hate you for bringing an amazing story like Re:Zero even if 95% of the things involve Subaru having a bad time, ( -_-).

Anyways let's continue with the story.

CHAPTER TWO: WELCOME TO THE UNDEGROUND

"Under… tale?" Mimi asked, tilting her head at the name showed in the big screen.

"A rather... simple name, don't you think?" Tivey stated, giving his opinion on the matter.

Ricardo shruggered his shoulders a little, not minding the name.

"Well," Al started "I think is simple, but efective in telling us what will be shown."

"Seriously," Felix exhaled a little, touching a temple on his head "What is this habit of giving names to certain events in the life of Subaru-kyun?" Not that he minded, it was just… curious to say the least.

The one armed warrior shrug his shoulder, not knowning why that happened.

In another part of the theatre, Frederica sighed while shaking her head, her mind already preparing if something terrible happened.

She paused at that.

She then started to growl a little under her breath, not liking how her mind seemingly adapted to expect the worst case scenario when something happened around Subaru.

That boy was such a great person, not deserving of the attrocities that he experiemented, yet the world seemed to not think like that.

Frederica exhaled again, she and Subaru, while on friendly terms, were at acquanticies, much to her displeasure.

With her duties as a Headmaid, she had responsabilities to do and also the rol to teach little Petra the way of the maid, and combine that with Subaru knight training and the responsabilites that comes with the title, it's no wonder that they don't interact that much.

Something that she will correct once she gets back, beacuse Subaru has proven to be a person that anyone would feel blessed to have as a friend.

"Frederica-onnesama." A little voice brought her out of her mind.

Frederica turned to the voice, finding Petra walking towards her.

"Petra-chan." The Sharp toothed maid greeted her student, pleased that she returned from her little islation.

"Can I sit here?"

"Of course." Frederica smiled, which caused the little girl to nod and hop onto the sit next to her.

Garfiel, seeing the little maid come back, he decided to retire. "Well Sis," he stand up from his seat. "in need to go back, after all, Brotto needs my amazin' self at his side." He excused himself and walked towards where the green merchant was.

Frederica smiled, glad that his brother was giving them space to discuss things.

She then turned to the direction of the little maid in training.

There was a little silence.

Frederica waited for a moment before asking "How are you feeling, Petra-chan."

"I'm fine." Petra answered, but Frederica didn't buy it.

"Petra-chan..." Frederica trailed off her sentence.

Petra's eyes started to form a little tears again, lip trembling before she disclosed her true thoughts. "I…I don't know how to help him…" Frederica didn't say anything, waiting for her to finish. "Everyone here seems so capable of helping him…" tears started to fall "I just don't know how I can help… I don't know what to do?" she sniffed while rubbing her eyes "I…I feel.." she hiccuped "…Irrelevant."

"Oh, Petra-chan." Fredereica brought the head of the girl towards her bossom, while caressing her orange hair. "It's alright."

"No, it's not..." she hiccuped again.

"Petra." The headmaid said seriously yet gentle, causing the girl to look at her. "There are more ways to help him." She explained "Don't torture yourself with your thoughts."

Subaru already suffered from that, and she will be damned if she let her charge suffer the same.

"How?"

"By being there." Once again she had the attention of the maid. "Being his friend, being a person that can listen to his problems, being there to show him your smile all days." She listed off. "All this things, while simple, could mean the world for him" she paused letting the girl digest the information. "Lets show Subaru that he didn't fail us, that we are here thanks to his efforts." She finished.

Petra looked up from the bossom of the half-demihuman maid, still looking a little unsure, before nodding her head.

Frederica smiled, all while still caressing the hair of her charge, feeling happy that she could reach little Petra to stop her from having those destructive thoughts, even if it was momentary.

She sighed, as this was not the first time they had a chat like this, but with the events shown in Arc 4, and the reveal of the BIGGER problems, broke every once of confidence the little maid had in finding a way to help her hero in surpassing his traumas.

So she will be there the times that are necessary, to remind her charge that she can help her hero. For that was also her duty as the headmaid and teacher.

Otto looked towards Garfiel, who just sat at the side of him.

"Garfiel-san, you are back." smiled the merchant.

"Of course, what will ya do without my amazin' self here with you." grinned the shield of sanctuary, greeting his Brother in his own way.

Otto sweatdropped a little at the greeting, even though he was used to it.

"Garfiel-san…" Otto shook his head a little, "By the way, how you feeling, with this viewing, I mean?"

"I'm exicted!" Garfiel smiled "It will be great, Seein' an adventure of ma Cap'n that will prove more how amaizn' he is." Garfiel finished puffin out his well trained chest out. But the feeling damped a little "But, I'm also worried, Otto."

Otto nodded, understanding that, as he was also feeling that right now, everytime Subaru enters something, trouble appears on his way, the fact that the even his adventure started with him tripping and falling through a hole already put a bad feeling in him.

But…

"This could also be for help to know him better, don't you think so, Garfiel-san." Otto said.

"Of course!" Garfiel said. "Any chance that can bring out somethin' that can help us, is welcomed."

Otto smiled this, before returning his gaze to the screen, intenting to find anything that can be uselful to help their brother.

Emilia was anxious, very anxious.

This could be seen as she was rubbing her hand onto the one of her unconscious knight, trying to find some comfort through the warm of his skin.

"You better not squeeze that hand again, I suppose."

Emilia pouted at the spirit "Beaaako, I wasn't going to do that!"

"You better not, you are already in a pitch with the previous warden, in fact, the least is that you get scolded by the new one." The spirit reminded.

Emilia pouted harder, before releasing a sigh "I am nervous, Beako, I can't help but feel anxious every time that Subaru appears on that screen." As that every time that ocurred, bad things happened, that was left unsaid.

Beatrice exhaled "You are right, I suppose." the spirit admitted "Betty's Subaru is… what was the word again, yeah, a magnet of trouble." Finished the great-spirit while huffing.

"Magunetu?" Emilia tilted her head to the side, confused by the word.

"Hmph, another thing that comes from Betty's contractor world, in fact." the spirit said, being simple as she didn't want to divulge in a more complex explanation.

The pout returned to Emilia's face, feeling a little jealous by the now recurrent form of Beatrice knowing things that Subaru shared with her. She was sure that she wasn't the only one feeling like that with this topic.

Beatrice ignored the pouting half elf, focusing on the screen, waiting for it to start.

She didn't have to wait long.

The screen lit up, starting to change from the previous color black to start showing an image.

Now everyone was focusing on the screen, all their attention centered in what was going to be shown.

The little Subaru groaned, as his consciusness was returning he started go get up of the comfy feeling beneath him.

"Well, glad he seems fine." Ricardo said, relief in that the boy showed no signs of more serious injuries.

Some of the persons in the room relaxed at that.

"Ouch." Said Subaru rubbing the side of his head, his vision starting to clarify, while also he fully got up, revealing his full (and tiny) form in all his adorable splendor, even wearing a little version of his signature tracksuit.

Everyone took the form of the small Subaru showing inthe screen.

Some seconds passed, with them not saying anything until…

"So cute!" Petra had stars in her eyes seeing how her hero looked when he was with an age close to hers.

Frederica didn't reprimended her for raising her voice, as she was also focused on the screen, blinking at seeing the tiny form of Subaru, a single thought entered her mind 'adorable.'

A silent Rem nodded, agreeding with the little maid, as she was trying to burn the image into her mind with how focused she was on the screen.

Anastasia was staring at the screen, a smile adorning her face as she appriciated every second in seeing the boy in the cute form of his.

Juluis sighed a little, knowing that her lady rapt attention on the screen was due to her having a soft spot for cute things; Julius then deadpanded as he never thought that he would ever associate a word like 'cute' with someone like Subaru. But it seems like the younger him fitted that word to a T.

Mimi was looking up and down the image for a time, before she closed her eyes and nodded her head sagely, as if approving of something.

Tivey, looking at Mimi, sweatdropped at the antics of her twin sister.

Crusch and Emilia had a slight blush adorning their cheeks, seeing the adorable form of the perosn they hold great care for.

Beatrice face didn't show any change while looking at the shorter form of her dear contractor, even if in her was a little fuzzy feeling at the adorableness shown in the screen. 'Huh?... so this I how Betty's Subaru feels while looking at Betty.' She released a little huff at that thought 'Hopeless contractor, in fact.' She thought amused.

"So this is Big Bro back then?" Felt asked, seeing the image up and down."Or should I call him now Little Bro?" Felt pondered for a moment before deciding to sitck with her usual way. Big Bro still sounded better.

"Heh, so he even had the track suit at that time." commented with humor the one armed warrior. "Seriously, that is like his second skin or something" snorted Al a little "What do you think, princess?"

…

"Princess?" Al asked again while turning to see Priscilla, confused by her silcence.

Priscilla was staring at the screen intensently, her face betraying no emotion and with half of her face behind her signature fan also helped in that aspect, but Al could have sworn that he saw, even for a little moment, a twinkle entering in the ruby eyes of the persons he serves.

'Huh?, wonder what she is thinking.' Al didn't want to try to call her out again, not wanting to risk a kick in the face.

When Subaru's vision managed to clarify, he was at first confused, not recongaizing his surrondings around him "Huh?" he questioned, looking at the place he was in "Where am I?"

That was until everything came rushing back towards his mind "WAIT A MOMENT!" Subaru looked up to confirm his suspicion. Panic starting to form inside him.

When his eyes locked onto the illumiated circule in the now very high ceiling of the cave, his suspicion got confirmed.

"Oh…..no…"

"This is bad… very bad." Subaru started to feel fear "OOOOHHH, WHAT I'M GONNA DO?!" the little kid started to walk in circules.

And the fuzzy feeling in the theatre caused by the adorableness of little Subaru was evaporated in an instant, bringing everyone back to the grim reality.

"Right, bro is trapped down there." Commented Al, grimancing a little.

Ricardo sighed "Damn, the kid can't catch a break, can he?"

Anxiety began filling Emilia again.

"Exploring this place was a bad idea." The kid started to feel tears in his eyes "Mom…Dad, I didn't tell them where I was going." The little kid was regretting he didn't share the information with his parents, he didn't want to do something dangerous, only some quick lookout of this place with the mysterious legend and then come back. But it seemed that fate had other plans.

"WHAAAAATTT?!" Beatrice shirked at what was shown, "Stupid and Hopeless contractor, in fact!" she even hitted him lighty in the hand, as if convey her anger at the sleeping Subaru for his, yet again, stupid actions.

He didn't even stir.

"Natsuki-san…" Otto facepalmed at the idiocity of his brother in all but blood.

"Subaru…" Emilia said, a little dissappointed with her knight.

Julius shook his head in disapproving manner "That was irresponsible of him." Felix also nodded, agreeding with what his knight comrade said.

Priscilla snorted behind her fan, not showing sympathy at the boy at his situation, as that was the result of his foolish actions.

Ram huffed "Barusu stupidity will be always be the same, no matter the age." even if her words were harsh at the irresponsible actions, that did little to erase the concern she felt for the current predicament of her previous co-worker.

"Stupid vine." Subaru muttered a annoyed, a little pout forming in his face.

Some of the female presents in the theatre felt their heart have a slight pinch when they saw the pout in suabru's face, even if they were either disappointed or angry at the previous decision he did.

Rem moved her hand to her chest, where the heart was ubicated, all the while tilting foward as if she had been struck, which in a sense, it was, after seeing the pinchable pout in her hero's face. 'Rem doesn't think she can handle more cuteness.'

Beatrice, having given her divine punishment to the hand of her contractor, was staring intensely at the pouting cheeks of his Betty's Subaru face, having a strange urge to pinch them, after a few moments, something clicked in her head. 'Ah, so that's why, in fact' she realized, now understanding why her contractor or that half elf pinched her cheeks should the opportunity present itself.

Not that it will make her approve of that, she liked her cheeks to not suffer the pinchable tretament, thank you very much.

Little Subaru sighed, rubbing away the tears forming in the corned of his eyes. "What should I do?" Subaru looked up again towards the hole in the ceiling "Should…I climb up?" thought the nasty eyed kid.

"Nope, bad idea kid." Ricardo quickly said, already seeing the problem with that.

"No, bad idea." Subaru denied the idea, the walls of the cave around him didn't look save enough to clim and he was sure that also he didn't have the physical ability to do so.

Ricardo nodded, pleased in seeing the boy understand.

"Then…should I wait?" it seemed reasonable enough at first but then doubt started to form, "But how long?" he didn't said where was he going, so for his parents he could be anywhere, and that could prolong the time and chances to be found.

"That also other problem." Al sighed. "I mean, it can work but, as little bro deduced, how long does he need to wait, not mentioning that it can become an even more worse predicament when hunger enters in the situation."

"Sadly that also is another consequence of his decision of going alone without informing anyone." Julius explained, not liking saying that, as he feel that he was condemning his fellow knight.

"Even if he explained his whereabouts, I don't think that could have worked."

Everyone looked towards the Duchess, who had been silent for some time, intriged with what she said.

"What do you mean Crusch-sama?" asked the catboy.

"We are fogetting one fact that was explained," Crusch started "He fell down where the monsters resided, the SEALED monsters." She clarfied.

Understaning began to fill in some persons.

"Wait, you are saying that whatever is keeping the monsters in that place, could also affect Big Bro too?" asked the golden-haried cantidate.

"That it could be a possibility."

"But isn't that contraproductive?" asked Anastasia. "Surely, whatever spell they casted, should only work on the monsters, not the humans."

"I doooon't think that is the caseeee~~."

Inmidiately the mood in the theatre dropped to zero, as everyones eyes zeroned in the one who spoke.

"Roswaal…" Crusch said, with heavy venom in her tone.

The Margrave maintained the smile on his face with make-up, as if he didn't just recived enoguh venom through just words alone that could kill the White Whale.

"What do you want, clown?" Emilia asked.

One would expect that she had a furious look or a disgusted one, but instead she showed no emotion at all with dimmed eyes while talking to the man.

Some people shivered when they saw the face of Emilia.

It was the same face she had while she merciless massacred the Witch of Vainglory.

It didn't take a genius to see that the Margrave was in a REALLY tight spot with Emilia, not that they cared of the clown, that's it.

"My~, my~, I juuuust wanted to offer my deductioon~" Roswaal said, still with a smile.

"NOBODY ASKED YAR OPINION!" exclaimed Garfiel, instantly pissed off from just hearing the clown talk, Otto even grabbed his shoulder to make sure to stop him from doing unnecessary actions.

"Can Mimi whack his head?" Mimi said, growling cutely while waving a little her staff in a threating manner. Ricardo shook his head, in a negative motion, calming her down to avoid a conflict.

Rem was really temped to cut her ears just to make sure that she will not listen to the disgusting voice of the man she previously served, while also stopping herself from attacking him, knowing that her Sissy would interfer and… she didn't want to enter another discussion with her beloved sister.

She bit her lip with enough force that almost made her draw blood once she reminded herself the current situation with her sister.

"What did ya mean with that?" asked the merchant queen, surprising the people aorund her.

"Anastasia-sama." Julius said, surprised that her lady would talk to such scum.

"I know what are ya thinkin' Juluis-kun, but he is the only person in this room that can provide an explanation" Anastasia reasoned with her knight. "After all, he also helped that Witch," she spat the word as if was venom in her mouth. "with that sealing barrier around Sancturary, so if someone knows about sealin', unfortunely, is him."

"Tch!" Garfiel clicked his tongue against his teeth, not liking to be reminded that his previous home was used as a deathtrap by the clown.

Roswaal's smile dimmed a little at the disrepect of the purple candidate against his teacher, but choosed to not comment about it, not wanting to put a even bigger target on his back for trying to argue.

"Thank youuu for your consideraaaation~~"

"Consider it the only one." The purple haired lady shot down the compliment, coldly. "So you better start talking."

Roswaal nodded his head calmly.

"You see, the speeeeell was used just after a waaar ended, so there is a possibility that they either created that speeeell on the spot, unlikely but possible, oooor the spell was not fully studied before they used it, wanting to seal the mosnters as fast as possible." Roswaal resoned, already seeing a little problem with the spell.

After all, for someone that helped his teacher to create the barrier around Sanctuary, knows how complicated it was, even for someone like Echidna, it took a considerable amount of her time to propely study it for the purpose to work against only half-blooded people before used it, and even then, the barrier was not finished before that damned warlock attacked.

The point is that, if you want a barrier to full operate against specific individuals, it requieres time to created it…

Time that did not seem to be enough in the post-conflict to creat a sealing magic without consequences. But the humans used it anyways almost as if they were….

'Desesperated.' Roswaal thougth. 'But why?'

Roswaal, decided to not divulge too much into that at the moment, after all, he needed more information to reach a plausible conclusion.

For now he has to continue to explain.

"If we go by the implications that were showed, they used a spell that they don't know how far it's effects go, so the probability that theeey did not consider that a huuuuman would also be affected was high," Roswaal paused, allowing some to process the information "Add also the fact thaaat, at the time, who would associate with monsters or think to go down the place they were sealeeed, seeing that nooobody wtih a clear mind would be with them after just the conlfict ended." Roswaal continued his explanation.

Wilhelm understood the point better than anyone in the room, seeing that he expirienced first hand how that after the Demihuman war, the tensions were still high and, even if it was for a moment, there was a clear line dividing the population, each of them not wanting to associate with the other.

"And juuust hearing that the speeell they used was especifically to seal an entireee race, then one can already imagine the pooower behind it." Roswaal continued.

"So?" Garfiel urged the clown to get to the point, not wanting to hear another second of his voice.

"Soooo that only leaves that the magic they used wouuuuld make sure that NOTHING, regardless of whatever enteeeeers in it, would NEVER leave due to the inmense power it requiered to be created, just to make sure that the monsters could not escape." Roswaal said.

Everyone was pondering the information they recived of the Margrave, seeing the possibility of the undesirable effects of putting such potent magic to exist.

"However, thereeee is another possibility~~"

That made the persons listening to widen their eyes.

"What do you mean?" asked Crusch, narrowing her amber eyes at the Margrave.

"I meaaan thaaat it exist that theeeey did consider that some peeeople will fall, but the questioon is who will fall to a place were the monsters resided after they just finished a war?"

"Didn't you just said that nobody in their right mind would associate with the monsters?" Julius questioned the Lord of Mathers House.

"Exaaactly." Roswaal said, making Julius frown in frustration at the riddles of the Margrave "But if we gooo by the standars of a post-conflict, who will the humans consider 'not in their right miiiiind'?" Roswaal throwed his question.

Wilhelm's eye widened when he finally caught onto the meaning.

"Sympathysers." He voiced his deduction.

"Correeeect."Roswaal said, not expecting less from the war veteran. "Don't you find it strange that such potent sealing magic the can beeee easily accessed from outside but once you enter in it, you can't leave~~?"

"A trap." Crusch quickly deduced, narrowing her amber eyes.

The Emilia camp were inexpressive but dreading at the possiblility, this option hitting too close to them, since it was just like Sancturary all over again.

They DIDN'T want Subaru to experience another thing that resembles that situation in Arc 4.

"Shit." Al sighed, starting to see that it could be a possibility, a human falls in there wanting to help or whatever other reason, only to not be able to get out, stuck with a race that he bets his other arm that hated the humans with a passion.

That only spelled a Deathtrap.

"Talk about being paranoid." Ricardo said with some humor, but still serious.

Roswaal however clarified "Keep in miiind that this is just a speculaaaation with the little information we have~" Roswaal reasoned, for all the intellect and infomration he had in his long life, even he can't know everything with little information. "the viewing couuuuld prove me wrong or give me the right, that depends." Roswaal even thought "Personally, I find the first conclusion to be the most likely." The Lord of the Mathers sincerly said.

Anastasia hummed a little "Well then, thank you for your deductions." Thanked Anastasia curtly, and even it seemed that it took a lot of her to said those words towards the clown.

"Can we continue with the viewing?" The voice of the fierly princess chimed in. "Minself is bored of your constant commoners talk." Priscilla stated, bored out of the conclusions these plebeyans were reaching but also not wanting to dirt her ears with voice of the scumbag of the Lord.

"OH!, Shut up will you!" Felt snarked at the vollachian resident.

Priscilla just huffed, while looking back at the screen.

"Well, she is right in one thing, let's continue the watching, we can talk in more deep in a break." Anastasia, for once, choosed to do what the stuck up princess said, already satisfied with the previous explanation given by the magician.

Everyboy focused their attention back to the screen. Even if the mood was a little sour due to talking to the Lord of the Mathers.

Subaru bit his lip, narrowing his scary looking eyes a little. "What sould I do then?" He thought feeling frustrated with his actual situation.

Subaru released a sigh, sitting down on floor, once again getting the comfy feeling he felt when he was getting up after falling down. Curious, he looked down to see the source of the feeling, once he made eye contact with the object in question, he gasped.

Beautiful flowers, with a mesmerizing radiance of yellow adorning it's petals, giving a feeling of looking something akin to gold, something that stand out more thanks to the white center the peculiar flowers had.

Wilhelm eyes took a melancholic shine, in seeing the beautiful flowers, he released a sigh, knowing that his late wife would come to love greatly this flowers from their sheer beauty alone.

"Pretty." Emilia said, even if the color was not her favorite, there was no denying that the flowers had an aura around them that cautivated the onlookers.

Reinhard looked at the flowers, even if it brougth a pain, he focused on another thing that he could not hold back in his mind "You would look lovely if you were accompained with those flowers, dont you think so my lady?" he asked Felt.

"Heh?, I mean, sure they are pretty, but I am not into those fancy things." Felt said, but seeing that Reinhard looked like she just kicked a puppy, she sighed. "But maybe we could later try with similar flowers." She grumbled at that, already dreading the moment, knowing that she would need to dress in that monstruosity of a cloth in order to look 'fancy'.

Oblivious to the dread in his lady, Reinhard formed a smile that could melt even the coldest of hearts. (1)

Priscilla raised an eyebrown, a little impressed with the beauty of the flowers on screen.

"Wow…" Momentary forgetting his predicament he looked aorund him, seeing the Golden flowers surronding him and forming a little flower bed with him in the middle of it.

It was truly a beautiful sight.

"What type of flowers are you?" Subaru said in child like wonder, he has seen lots of flowers, but as far as he remembered, he could not picture the flower he was seeing right now.

Subaru looked up to see again the hole in the ceiling and then back to the flowers below him "It's seems that the flowers absorbed the impact of my fall," he thought, patting the golden flowers "Hehehe, thanks little flowers, you saved me." Little Subaru giggled, while the fall still hurt, he was still alive thanks to the beautiful plant life he was currently patting, "Hehe, so comfy." flooping down on his front he started rolling gently around the flower bed, realashig in the natural feeling given by the flowers, all of this happening while his adorable giggles filled the air.

Again, the hearts of the people in the theatre where filled with fuzzy feelings, happiness filling them in seeing that Subaru looked to be having a good time, despite his situation.

Especially the ladies, as the pinch in their hearts from earlier come back at full force, seeing such an adorable and precious moment like this.

Emilia put her entire attention just to listen the laugh of his knight, burning that into her mind, liking how it sounded so happy.

Rem and Petra looked with clear longing at the scene, wanting to nothing more to be in that scene and share such precious moment with the boy they cherish.

Prsicilla could not hide the slight tug in the corner of her lips, secretly enjoying the moment.

"Ne, Tivey, can we have a flower bed?" Mimi asked "They look so comfy!" she said while gesturing the to the flower bed in screen.

Tivey sighed, already expecting such request from her twin sister.

"Heh, maybe I could try that bed." Joked Ricardo but still wanting to try such thing, if a flower bed could absorb such great impact like the one in screen, then the must be comfy as hell. 'Perfect to rest after missions'.

"SEE! He approves." Mimi said, seeing a chance to get the comfy natural bed. Tivey deadpanded at her.

He continued to do his antics until his sight caught something, so he stopped his actions, giving his full attention to the front he was currently seeing.

It was a corridor, a little dark but he could clearly see the path guiding to the unknow.

"Creepy." joked Aldebaran, but the he quickly shut his mouth when Priscilla glanced at him.

"Huh, a corridor?" said Subaru while getting up, eyeing the path in front of him.

"Maybe…maybe it's a path that could get me a way out?" he thought, a little unsure, not wanting for this to be another thing that could worsen his current situation.

"But what other option I have?" he thought, feeling a little despair at his situation. "Well if it proves to be scary enough, I can always turn around and come back here" he tried to rationalice his choices.

"I would never know unless I try." He thought, he could try to stay here until help comes, but if the path proved to be indeed a safe way to get out, then he will take it, the sooner he gets out the better; He didn't want to worry his parents.

His amazing and loving parents.

Many people in the room, softened their eyes at the mention of the Natsuki partents.

"Subaru…" Emilia said, with sadness, remembering the close bond that her knight shared with his parents.

It only hurted more to see such bond be broken by the Witch of Envy.

Reinhard, for a moment, only just a moment, chose to not look at the screen, shame filling his being.

He remembers how, for a moment, he… envied Subaru. How he envied that he had such loving, understanding parents.

He bit his lip.

He knew that such monster like him doesn't deserves such affection, and yet… He could not help to want it.

'Truly, I'm a monste-'

His thoughts where interrupted when a delicate hand posed on his hand. He turned to see his lady looking at him, with understanding.

"It's okay Rein." Felt said with surprising gentleness, as she knew that the topic she is touching is sensible.

"It's not bad to feel that way Rein." Felt interrupted, knowing what her friend was feeling, as she knows the sentiment better than anyone; Growing up in the slums, she quickly grew to hate the nobles… but she also envied them, seeing that they had everything that the persons such as Felt always desired but could never have. However…

"It's not bad to feel that Rein," she repeated, "It's normal to sometimes feel that way, but don't let it consume you or control your actions based on that emotion, you are better than that." She knew she was being a little sappy, and even she was having a little difficult time giving this comfort, given her inexperience in doing it in a gentle nature. Usually she will just bullhead the topic and be direct.

But the topic is Reinhard and family, and she knew that she could not bullhead her way in.

The redhaired knight said, appreceating every moment of this, knowing how his lady is not accostumated to do this thing. 'You are really growing up to be more of a great person than you already are, Felt-sama' It was moments like this that showed to him why he choosed to follow and pleadge his loyalty to her.

Felt scoffed at the proper attitude of his friend, "Anytime Rein." She finished with a smile.

Unknow to them, Wilhelm looked at the duo, feeling happy that his grandson was growing out of his shell, and finally begin to be more human.

"Alright." Said Subaru to himself, making a decision, starting to move towards the mysterious looking path.

He stopped just at the start of the path, looking an the dark end, he gulped a little, feeling his legs tremble at the thought of the unkown.

Subaru slapped both of his hand against his cheeks, trying to brave himslef up as a way to motivated him; it worked but, "Ouch." said Subaru rubbing his now slightly red cheeks to calm down the pain, "I put more force that intended." Pouted the child, feeling a little shame filling him, for once feeling glad that he was alone (just a bit) so nobody saw the embarassing moment.

Too bad that both Garfiel and Otto had burned that scene into their memory, no doubt to use it as a teasing material in the future.

"Such great adquisition, don't you think so Garf." Otto said ia mischevous tone.

"Indeed." Replied a grinning Garfiel. Already waiting for the opportunity to used it against his Cap'n.

Frederica watched the duo from afar, shaking her head at ther antics, with a little smile on her face.

Now motivated (and feeling a little pain coming from his face) he started to walk the mysterious path to the unknow.

He was walking now the corridor, some seconds just passed but for him felt like an eternity, moving within the dark walls of the path. "Well the good thing was that my sight adapted to the dark." Subaru thought, now seeing a bit better in the dark place. "How long is this?"

His thoughts were cut when he spoted something in the end of the corridor, he walked a little faster to see what is was, he was confused when he finally got the full image.

"An entrance?" the curious thing about this is that said entrance was decored with two stone pillars at each side and a weird symbol on top, giving a ancient vibe, strangely enough the Stone pillar and the entrace looked to be in well shape.

"Wait, Does that mean that somebody is here?" Little Subaru started to feel hope.

"Yep, and they are called monsters." Joked a little Ricardo.

Al wante to join in, but he stopped himself, not wanting a kick in the face from his princess.

"Maybe he can help me out."

"I dont know if that is gonna happen" Tivey commented, acommodating his monocle, "The monsters probably would attack him first, due to him being a human."

"He has good point." Julius said, seeing the logic in the statement of the twin.

Emilia winced, already feeling anxious again for Subaru.

Beatrice sighed at that, not liking how that is the most likely scenario that will happen, remebering also the luck of her dear contractor.

After that thought Subaru wasted no time in crossing the door.

After a few moments in the dark while crossing the entrance, he walked into a different room, it looked similar to the previous one, the only difference is that this one was bigger, but also shared the similarities in the aspect that it looked that there was a hole in the ceiling, a smaller one that permited the entrace of some light that shoned in the middle of the room, and in that middle, instead of a flower bed, was an innocet looking sole hunched Golden flower.

"HELLO!" Subaru raised his voice, cupping both of his hand around his mouth to make more loud sound, "IS THERE SOMEBODY IN HERE, I NEED HELP PLEASE!" the only respond he got was the little echo produced by the walls of the cave.

"Maybe they are in another room" thought Subaru after a moments of silence passed, leaving him to reach that conclusion.

He started to take a few steps, intending to reach the entrance at the end of the room, to continue his search of the posible person o persons.

"HOWDY!"

"HUH!"

"WHAT?!"

"Where did that come from?!"

The people were startled as the new voice made itself know.

"WHOOOAAA!" jumped Subaru, startled by the sudden voice, looking around to see to source of the voice while trying to calm his beating heart, no doubt racing from the sudden scare, after a few moemnts he realized that there IS somebody with him.

"HELLO!" he repeated the greatting, look around now more focused in trying to see who was there. "HEY!, I HEARD YOU, PLEASE COME OUT!"

"Over here!" the voice replied.

Subaru follows the source of the noise, finding it was at center of the room, he didn't see anybody there.

"No, seriously, where is it?" Felix asked, confused.

The people in the theatre were focusing in the screen, looking for the owner of the voice.

"This is giving me the cre-" Al started.

"Down here silly~" the voice said, apparently seeing his confusion.

Little Subaru moved his vision down where now he could pinpoint the source of the voice.

Subaru paused when his eyes finally caught the one making the voice, he started to blink like an owl, not believing his eyes at first.

The source of the voice was the sole Golden flower he previously spotted when he entered the room, it was bizzare as the flower had an innocent looking face, almost cartoonish like the ones he sees in the TV of his home, the Golden flower was smiling at him, looking up to match his gaze.

-eps…."Al finished while draggin the sentence, incredulity filling him.

The other guests in the room were making a perfect mirror representation of the Subaru on screen, seeing that they were also blinking at the ridicoulus sight before them.

"What…?" Ricardo asked, finally overcoming his shock.

"Did that flower…" Mimi started.

"…just talked?" Tivey finished the sentenced.

"This… is certainly not how imagined the first encounter of Subaru with a monster." Julius made his opinion know. With others agreeding with him.

They suspected a very imposing figure, or something more terrorific will be the ones to greet them.

Never in their wild dreams or in the deeps of their imagination, they would have guessed that it would be a flower with simplistic a face.

"Oohhh" whispered Subaru in almost awe, "You can talk?" he asked finding incredible to see a talking flower for real, or maybe it was the product of him hitting his head from such a high place.

He really hoped it was the former.

"Of course I can." replied the flower with its cherpy and almost high pitched voice.

"Are…are you magical?" asked Subaru, a little giddy at that prospect.

"I don't blame him for suspecting something like that." Julius said, still a little shocked by the monster.

Tivey pondered for a moment "Magic can do impressive things, so it's logical to think that." He then added "After all in our world we also have absurd things." But he gotta admit that something like the talking flower in the screen is very strange, and that was coming from a person where he has seen a whale fly, rabbits infinitely multiply, and so much more.

While in the rest of the theatre, were overcoming the shocking sight they were also starting to tense a little, after all, with what Tivey said, Suabru begin a human could cause other monsters to attack him.

This flower was not the exception to them, even if someone them found it ridiculous.

"Hehehe, of course I am~" the flower responded "Let me introduce myself, I'm FLOWEY, FLOWEY the FLOWER!"

"That's… an intersting name?" Mimi said, seeing the name a little redundant.

Everyone in the theatre looked at him, as if he had grown a second head, deadpanned stares present in their faces.

Even Priscilla regarded him a look with a raised eyebrown, as if she is questioning what she just heard.

Julius noticed the stares and looked at them, confused as to why they looked at him like that.

"Juluis-kun." Anastasia only said the name of his knight, while shaking her head as if she was disappointed with something.

"What?" Julius asked, genuinely confused.

"Poor guy." Al stated, seeing the opportunity to tease the kinght among knights. "I feel bad for his future kids."

"Yep." Ricardo joined in the teasing.

Julius looked at them, half-insulted, half-intrigued, as it seems that everyone except him knows what was happening.

Subaru broke of his stupor, seeing that he also needed to introduce himself as a common courtesy teached by his parents.

"And there is it." Felt said, shaking her head, amused, seeing again the now signature pose of her Big Bro.

Emilia smiled a little, seeing the pose that held great significance to both Subaru and her.

Beatrice snorted a little "No matter the time, Betty Subaru's still has his antics, I supppose."

Ricardo watched for a moment the pose. "Hey, it just me or the pose is a little… stiff?" The Dogman mercenary asked, pointing out the curious fact.

"Now that you mentioned, yes, compared to our bro here, the pose he is making is more rocky." Al stated, seeing the difference.

"Maybe beacuse he didn't practiced much?" Tivey said.

Some of the people in the theatre where either amused at the motion while others didn't care that much, starting to get used to the antics of the mercenary and the one armed warrior.

Rem was watching with rapt attention, taking now every second of this moment down to her memory, after all, this is the birth of when her hero decided to start using his pose. Unknow to her, in another part, Garfiel was star-eyed at the, what he considered, an important part of his Cap'n life while at his side Otto was shaking his head, amused by the admiration of Garfiel towards their brother.

"Tsk!" Beatrice clicked her tounge, exasperated at the exaggerating moments of this idiotic duo made regarding her contractor antics. First his supposed 'Legendary Lolimancer Technique' and now this.

She sighed, praying that this is just how far they will get in their games.

Crusch just shook her head, but you could see a little smile on her lips.

Ram snorted "Typical Barusu, embarrassing himself in front of strangers." She said criptically, while smiling a little, enyoing the embarassed form of the little Subaru on the screen, internally admiting that she found this moment little adorable… not that she would ever said that out loud.

Felt was trying, seriously trying to not laugh at the moment that her Big Bro brought upon himself.

She failed.

Wilhelm held back a little laugh at the moment, liking this scenarios where he see Suabru having a normal time.

And he was pretty sure that he wasn't the only one having the same sentiment.

Flowey now deadpan face looked at the kid who was trying to make himself small as possible to try to escape the embarrassing moment.

Flowey cleared his throat (does he even have one?), trying to gain the attention of the kid, which worked as now Subaru turned to face him.

Julius raised an eyebrown, hearing again the same obvious name of a thing.

When he was opening his mouth to make a comment regarding the topic, he was stopped when, again, all the theatre looked at him, with the same deadpanned face, as if sensing that he will say something stupid.

Julius furrowed his eyesbrown, making a little frown on his handsome face. 'Seriously, what is up with them?' Julius then huffed a little childish, not that he will ever admit that he did that, and turned back to look at the screen.

Anastasia sighed, shaking her head, her knight could be excellent with the sword and his knight duties were unparalled, but in the naming aspect, he has the elegance of a drunk ground dragon. Felix also sighed exasperated at his knight companion.

Subaru looked at the flower, curious as to how he called the place where he is right now.

Many people in the room were confused at the particular sound.

"What was that sound?" Tivey asked confused.

"What are you talking abo….ut..?" Subaru asked, while moving his eyes to see where the flower was seeing, only to stop and start to widen his eyes at the sight located in his chest area.

There, floating in just a coupled of inches from his chest, laid a glowing red heart.

"WHAT THE HELL IS THAT!?" Felt and Mimi exclaimed at the same time, shocked to see the scene before their eyes.

Reinhard didn't correct her lady, beacuse he was just as shocked as her, seeing the strange sight of his friend with his apparent heart of out of his chest.

"What in the hell?" Al tralied off his words, his brain processing the sight in front of him.

"I… I am loss of words…" Julius said, not having the right words to describe what was happening, while also starting to feel wary about the flower.

Even Anastasia paused the rubbing of her scarf, in one of that rare moments that her incredible mind can't process the infomration that was reciving.

But among those reactions were…

"WHAT DID THAT FLOWER DID TO BETTY'S SUBARU, I SUPPOSE!?" Beatrice screamed, glaring at the screen.

"He will live, since he still here with us, and this is not another reality we are watching, this is our reality Subaru's childhood we are watching, so can you all please stop thinking the worst." Otto finished his plea, exhaustion filling him.

Crsuch finished, while also cleching her gloved fist a little in fury.

Felix moved towards his lady, and gripped her gloved hand a little, offering a little support to calm the fury within the woman clad in military uniform.

Crusch at this, relaxed a little and offered his knight a small smile, wordlessly thanking him for the support.

"This viewings really changed us, huh?" Tivey sighed, acommodating his monocle again.

"Yes." Mimi said, this time a little more quiet.

Ricardo just shaked his head.

"No doubt, we were pretty much in the same boat." The one armed man said. Then his helmeted head meet the floor with a painful sound.

"…Princess, why?..." Groaned the now downed man.

"You are interrupting the viewing with your unnecessary comments, speak when it's time to speak, you dog." Priscilla fanned her face.

"Noted…" Al groaned, as he started to get up from the floor.

"Elvy?" Mimi tilted her head, saiyng the strange word.

"Level?" Julius said blinking at that.

Beatrice sighed "You are so hopeless in fact, that was one of the words Betty's Subaru told Betty, I suppose."

By now, everyone expected something like this, but still feeling a little jelaous by how much information Subaru shared with his spirit.

Flowey then procceded to make small looking White things?, levitating in the air around him "Down here, LOVE is shared through…." Flowey paused a little looking at his side as if contemplainting something "Little White… 'friendliness pellets'" the flower finished looking back at him.

'Suspicious.' Al noted, not liking the little pause the flower made.

Emilia gripped genlty the hand of her knight, also picking the pause, her amethyst eyes frowning a little.

Subaru tilted again his head to the side finding the name to be… curious to say the least.

"Are you ready?" Flowey asked, which promoted Subaru to nod head, eager, "Move around!, Get as many as you can!" said Flowey while throwing the pellets at Subaru at a gentle pace.

"Just look, I will get all of them." proclaimed Subaru starting to run towards to pellets "HERE I COME!"

Subaru extend his arms trying to catch as many as possible.

Once the pellets touched his glowing red heart, something happened….

"I knew it!" Beatrcie growled out, feeling hostility in her begin at the flower for causing pain to her dear contractor.

Emilia just shut her eyes, as if she was struck, while her hold on the hand of Subaru become a little tighter, while also feeling anger and fury directed at the flower. 'I should not have my hopes up in the first place' she thought, starting to feel a little empty inside, the previous viewings showed time and time again that moments were Subaru could have a normal time it was just the prelude of a disaster.

Why her knight could not enjoy his life, even a little bit?

She throwed a lot of mental curses towards whatever entity out there was the one responsable of this.

Subaru screamed in pain, cluching his soul, trying to soothe the pain coursing through his small body, tears forming in his eyes.

Julius narrowed his eyes at the scene, while also cursing under his breath at the things that his companion has to face.

Subaru looked up from his hunched form, making contact with the flower, but once he caught said golden flower in his vision, he got scared.

Gone was the cartoonish face, replaced with a very scary looking one, smiling with his full teeth shown, forming a very creepy looking smile.

"In this world, it's kill or BE killed." Continued the now scary looking flower.

"Shut up…" Emilia growled out under her breath, not liking this moster at all, an even more after hearing what it just said.

Priscilla scoffed at what the flower said, finding it idiotic, even though she finds some little truth in his words, after all she comes from a place were either your are strong enough to survive, and if not, you perish, simple as that.

But even she can see that this Flower was just a maniac, enoying killing senseless if the opportunity strikes.

Truly a disgusting thing.

Wilhelm was also scowinlg at the scene, hating how, again the boy is suffering but also feeling great anger towards what the flower said. It remind it him of the most dark moments of the war, and how that could dehumaize a being.

"W-why?" asked Subaru in pain and with tears falling down from his eyes, looking at the flower, wanting to know why he got attacked.

"Why?" the flower repeated the question, clearly mocking him "WHY would ANYONE pass up an opportunity like this?" Flower finished, his smile getting even bigger if it was possible.

"Stupid Flower leave him alone!" Petra shouted, with tears now in her eyes, while Frederica was trying to comfort her.

Otto now had a hand on the shoulder of Garfiel, who was now snarling at the screen while gripping the armsets so hard that they broke.

Otto was also feeling incredible fury, but he need to offer some support towards Gafiel to try to calm him down.

Rem was growling like a wild beast, wanting nothing more to kill the monstruous thing, even if if was petal to petal.

Ram was looking at her sister worried, feeling the great anger through their bond, wanting to offer some support but knowing that she could not do that in the moment. She bit her lip hard.

Roswaal looked discretly at Ram, and sighed, knowing that his maid was looking for an option that didn't compromise more her relationship with her sister.

Roswaal just shook his head, not liking that his maid was putting herself more between the wall and the sword just to protect someone like him.

'Ram, you fool.' Roswaal thought sadly, while turning back his vision towrads the screen.

Subaru stared up at him, fear clear in his scary-looking eyes.

More of the pellets surrended him in an instant. Subaru got alarmed.

"DIE." that was the only word that left Flowey's mouth, before he started to laugh like a manic, clearly savoring every moment of this encounter, all the while the pellets started moving little by little towards the boy, who was paralysed from the pain.

"W-what…why…no…no…" Subaru's mind started to form thousand questions "Is…..is this the end for me?"

"Subaru…" Emilia whispered while her hatred towards the flower was increasing by the second.

"Cap'n." Garfiel growled.

"Garf remember, is the past, he WILL be fine." Otto urged, reminding him of the previous talk.

Ricardo released a frustrated sigh, not liking the situation the boy is in.

The pellets inched closer.

"no….NO… I DON'T… I DON'T WANT TO DIE!" Subaru started to tear up again from the sheer fear coursing through him. "I DON'T WANT TO DIE, I DON'T WANT TO DIE…!"

Beatrice lips trembled at the mental rant of her dear contractor, wanting nothing more to smite the monster into olbivion for causing such horrible thoughts in her Betty Subaru's head. The only thing keeping her anger and anxiousness in check was the fact that her contractor will live.

But that didn't mean that she could ignore moments like this, after all, they were hurting her contractor. And that brought also great pain to her.

Emilias eyes grew cold, her mind begin filled to all the times her knight faced death, moments that she couldn't protect him from such fates. Her self-hate was increasing with each memory.

Wilhelm exhaled, trying to calm himself down, the boy was strong, and he choose to believe that somehow he will surpass this situation, after all he is with them.

The pellets got much closer, the maniac laugh still filling the air.

"Please, somebody!" Mimi screamed, not caring that this already occured, but more in a way to calm her nerves.

"Please!" Petra pleaded, crying, not wanting to see another second of this nerve wracking scene.

The pellets were about to to touch him.

"PLEASE HEEEEEEEELLLLPP!" Subaru finally screamed, overcoming his fear in a deseperate attemp to call for someone.

The pellets dissappeared in an instant.

"Huh?" Both Flowey and Subaru looked confused.

Everyone released a sigh, feeling relief in their begins.

"What happened?" Tivey asked, calming himself.

"Whatever happened, I don't care, it helped Big Bro." Felt said, her hands still trembling from the previous scene.

"Someone helped him." Ricardo said, feeling glad towards whoever was there at the moment.

"Then who?" Mimi asked.

A soft light surronded the form of Subaru. "Wait, I feel better…" Subaru thought looking at his hands, no longer feeling the pain, He would have continued if not fot the fact that a bright, orange light come entered his vision.

Flowey looked towards said light, only to get a ball of fire in all the face, hitting him with such force that he got extracted from the earth and was thrown into the darkness of the room, all while yelping in pain.

Subaru gaped at the sight.

"HAHAHA, Take that you Fucker!" Felt screamed in glee, enjoying every second of that little moment. Mimi also doing a little arm dance at the scene, clearly also enoying it.

Reinhard didn't correct his lady, for he was also glad that the thing got what it deserved…

…althought he would never use such crude language.

"That was fire magic." Tivey said, intriged but also a little excited to see the a more common magic, but applied in a different world.

"Indeed." Ricardo said, also looking foward to the form of how they do magic in that world. While also Anastasia stared to press more attention.

Unknow to them, Roswaal was also looking foward to it, seeing the demostration from before.

Everyone finally relaxed at seeing that flower monster had been deal with, but now they were curious to see the one that saved Subaru.

After a few moments, a figure made itself now walking towards the light in the middle of the room, while lowering it's arm after unleashing the fireball.

When the mysterious figure stepped into the light it's form was revealed. Soft white fur covered it, little horns sticking out at the sides of it's head, in said head rested long ears that reach the base of it's head, it also was wearing a long purple tunic with white touches that reached the ancles, strangely enough, in the center of the tunic, it was also the weird symbol that Subaru encountered earlier at the top of the entrance.

Judging by the soft features in the face while also the body type, even if it was difficult beacuse of the tunic, it was sure to say that the newcomer was a female.

"Oohohoho mama, look at that." Ricardo taking this chance to joke a little, seeing that the tension in the room was mostly gone.

Tivey elbow him at the side "Get the mind out of the gutter." He said to his captain, even though he appriciate the joke, if only a little.

"Mimi wonders, what kind of monster is she?" Mimi inquiered, intriged by the apparance of the newcomer. (2)

Al looked, feeling familiarity at this, he knows that the female monster resembles an animal of his old world by he could not picture it clearly. 'I swear that I know the name' he pondered 'Gothic? Goally? What was it?' He tried to remember, but after spending more than 15 years in the new world, he only made a thing to remember important things, like electricity, some genral history, an so other things.

It was difficult to remember some animals however, since not all of the species he knew existed in here, and sadly it seemed this one was one of them.

Her eyes softened significantly, while also an equal soft smile forme don her face. She took a step foward to greet the child.

Subru took a little step back, clearly wary of her.

Everyone could not fault the boy for his wariness, after the shit show that flower caused.

Priscilla smiled however, seeing that the boy has some intelligence in not inmidiately trusting this new comer, even if it helped him.

The female monster stopped, her eyes widening a little at seeing his wariness, not that she could blame the child, having just expirence a horrible moment, she quicly threw another nasty glare towards were the flower dissapeared in the darkness, but then when she looked back at Suabru a smile formed again on her face. "Ah, do not be afraid my child, I am not going to hurt you." She said gently, crounching down at his level to mantain a visual contact but still maintaining distance, not wanitng to scare off the little one.

"She seems like a nice lady." Emilia said, liking the gentleness of the monster that had with Subaru.

"Yes." Petra affirmed alongside her.

From a little far, Rem also nodded, unseen by the duo.

Subaru looked at her for a few moments, starting to calm down after the previous terrorific situation thanks now that the seemingly nice lady came to his rescure, but still having a little wariness in him.

The female monster, looking at the still distrustfull form of the little Subaru, she decided to introduce herself, in hoping to ease the little tension between them.

"I am TORIEL," the now identified Toriel started, "caretaker of the RUINS, I pass through this place every day to see if anyone has fallen down." She explained.

"Well we had now a name nya." Felix said, gald to know the name of Subaru's savior.

"Thoguh, I am curious, as to why she looks if anyone had fallen to that place?" Julius inquired, pensative as to why a monster would do such a thing.

"Maybe to help them, as she helped Big Bro boss." Mimi said. "Maybe not all monsters hate the humans." Mimi said, wanting to be positive, if even a little bit.

"Unlikely." Al inmideately shot down, getting an angry pout in return form Mimi.

Subaru, now was looking at her less distrust, seeing that she is not doing anything harmful towards him.

"You are the first human to come here in a long time." Toriel continued, seeing that she is making progress "I heard your calls from earlier, so I came here as fast as I could." She turned to look again where the flower was sent flying "I'm glad that I made it in time, I am sorry my child, for you to experience such horrible treatment."

"Horrible she says." Beatrice huffed. "That was downright terrorific for my contractor, in fact." The great spirit grumbled under her breath, wanitng to purge the scene from before out of her mind.

Subaru was in silence for a few moments, after some seconds he finally spoke "Is... is the meanie flower away?" he asked.

Toriel smiled "Yes, that creature is away."

Little Subaru allowed himself to feel relief "T-thank you, Miss."

Toriel giggled "Please my child, you can call me Toriel."

"O-okay mis- I mean, Toriel." Subaru said.

Toriel allowed a soft smile on her face, while she finally get up from her crounching pose. "Come, I will guide you through the catacombs." She turned to look at the entrance ahead "This way." She called out, while starting to walk.

"Okay." Subaru replied following the nice lady.

The cast smiled at this, liking that Subaru is getting geniune help, while some were still perturbed and a little wary, thanks to the actions of the flower, their doubts were slowly but surely disspating with the caring actions from Toriel so far.

They walked towards the door, after a few moments the crossed the door, entering a new area.

Subaru looked around, seeing the change from the previous dark walls to the now pinkish-purlple walls, also seeing the floor with red leaves, forming an rectangle in the center of the room.

"Whoa..." Subaru allowed a little awe to be shown, marveling at the drastic change of the previous room to this one.

"Over here my child." Toriel called out, seeing the kid stayning behind to see the room.

Subaru brought his vision to the front, seeing Toriel climbing up one of the side stairs ubicated at the end of the room, seeing also the door to the next area.

But something caught his attention more.

"Huh?" Subaru tilted a little his head to the side, seeing that at the middle of both stairs laid in there a floating little light, sparkling constantly.

"Okay, this is something new." Al said, once again surprised to see such a thing.

Anastasia was once again taking things into consideration. 'Is that also a product of magic?' she thought, making theories.

"What is that thing nya?" Felix said, curious at the shiny thing, interestingly enough, his eyes seemed to zeroned in that while leaning foward a little out of his seat, captivated by the bright object, and having an strange urge to catch it. Unknow to him, Mimi and Tivey were mimicing his actions as well, no doubt taken by the shiny thing, much to the amusement of both Crusch and Ricardo, who was trying to not laugh at the twins.

"It looks like a spirit." Emilia gave her input on that, althought she knew that it was unlikely, she could not help but comment thesimilarity.

"It sure it does." Julius said, agreeding with the comment of lady Emilia.

"A star?" Subaru thought, feeling a little giddy at the prospect if it was one, after all, his family where lovers of stars and constellations, and they transmited that love in little Subaru.

"Or it could be that." Al said, giving now his opinion.

Subaru approached a little fast towards the star looking-thing, marveling at the light, when he was finally in front of the star, he could no help but stare intently with curiosity at the sparkling thing. "How are you here?" Thought Subaru with curiosity, as he knows that the stars are in space, so seeing one here floating here, while incredible, was also strange. "Weird." Suabru thought, but not minding so much.

Curiosity getting the better of him, he decied to touched it.

The cast were also taken back by the suden voice, or more precisely, beacuse the didn't see the owner of that voice.

"Or a better one, where did it come from?" Felt asked, not liking how so far they were getting surprise after suprise with little to no answers.

"It looked that it came through the 'star'." Tivey said, noticing the timing when Subaru touched the voice made itself know.

"So could it be really a spirit?" Julius asked while raising an eyebrown.

"Can we just wait until we have more information to form logical conclusions?" Aldebaran interjected. "We will not get answers if we keep interrupting this thing with our theoires." Al explained.

Priscilla gave a little hum in appreciation to what her jester said.

Ricardo was in the same boat with the one armed man, as he didn't want to further interrupt the viewing.

"W-Where did that come from?" thought Subaru, looking around to find the source of the voice.

He then looked back towards to star, then looking back at his hand "Could it be…?" he then decided to try to touch again the sparkling thing.

The persons in the theatre put extra attention to what would happen next. Wanting to see if the voice came back.

When he touched it again, there was a little strange noise but no voice come back. Strangely enough he started to feel better, like when Toriel came to her rescure. Subaru stared at his hand again after retiring it from the star "That was seriously weird."

Only to be a little disappointed when, while there was a strange sound, it wasn't the voice they previously heard.

However Felix took notice of a different thing, while looking at this description. "Does this thing have healing attributes?" He pondered to himself. 'Is a form of healing magic?' The best healer now was curious about this since it was his especiality.

"Now that I nyatice, that lady monster used healing magic earlier on Subaru-kyun." He recalled, as he now took notice of that, while he could have done sonner, most of his attention at the time was centered in the situation Subaru had with the maniac flower. "Wait a moment" He now thought, as he recalled the scene from a few minutes earlier. 'Back then, despise begin attacked and clearly in pain, Subaru-kyun showed no damage that could be seen on his body.' He pondered now this weird information, now recalling the moment when he recived those white things of the flower, and indeed he could not remember seeing any damage, physically speaking. 'What is going on?' (3)

"My child?" Toriel voice broke out Subaru from his thoughts.

"Ah!, I coming." Subaru hurried his pace to climb the stairs and catch up to Toriel. "Sorry for taking long, Toriel."

Toriel smiled at him "Don't worry, I know that you must be curious seeing all of this."

"Yeah." Subaru admitted.

Toriel giggled, "Come, this way." She crossed the door with Subaru following her.

Once they entered the new room, Subaru attention was pulled down seeing plates in the floor.

"Welcome to your new home, innocent one." Toriel announced.

"New Home?" Subaru thought, a little confused by the words.

"Whoa, whoa, whoa, hang there for a second." Al interrupted. "New home, as if, stayng to live there?" he asked, a little surprised at that.

"But, doesn't Big Bro needs to leave?" Felt asked, raising an suspicious eyebrown at the female mosnter.

"Maybe she is just giving him a place to rest temporary." Ricardo said, offfering another possibility.

"Or maybe is her way of welcoming the fallen?" Emilia offered her opinion. Hoping that it was just the lady begin nice, and not another trap.

Al looked at the two, still unsure of the options, 'If she meaned to be temporary, then she would have worder the phrase indicating that but instead…' Al pondered before looking back at the screen.

But before he could said anything at that words, Toreil continued "Allow me to educate you in the operation of the RUINS." when Toriel finished she started walking to the plates, steppping in four of the six ones, in the direction of a square, then finishing by pulling a lever in the wall causing the door to open.

"Whoa…" Mimi and Petra said in awe at seeing the mechanism, it was simple but catchy for the child like minds.

"The ruins are full of puzzles." Toriel continued after her demostration "Ancient fusions between diversions and doorkeys." She explained "One must solve them to move from room to room, please adjust to the sight of them." Once she finished she motioned with her hand for Subaru to follow her, while crossing the door.

"Well it was to be expected that there will be some interesting things." Al said, remembering the fact that ancient structures where filled with traps from how the movies from his home world tended to interpret.

Subaru walked towards the door, but stopping once he caught a sign at the side of the door. "Only the fearless may proceed, Brave ones, Foolish ones, Both walk not the middle road." Subaru read out loud; titling his head in an adorable manner, not fully understanding what the message wanted to said.

Priscilla hummed in approval of that phrase, liking the meaning behind it.

Petra tilted her head. "What does it mean?" She asked, confused yet curious.

"It means that not all the fearless actions that one can do steem from begin brave." Crusch said, responding to the question of the little maid.

"How so?"Petra said.

"Just beacuse, like the phrase said, there are persons that tend to be ignorants of the dangers they are facing, and therefore, underestimated the risks that lie in their path, giving them the foolsih category since they don't fear what they clearly don't know." The green-haired duchess replied. "Then we have the brave ones, the ones that are fully aware of the dangers and risks they will be facing or taking and yet the still took that step foward to face them, there before we had the fearless brave ones." The amber eyed colored candidate finished her explanation.

"Infomrative as expect Crsuch-sama." Felix said, liking when his lady showed her virtudes and great mind.

"Oh." Petra said in realitazion. "Then Subaru-sama is obviously the Brave one." She proclaimed, excited.

"Of course we are talkin' about ma Cap'n after all." Garfiel didn't wasted a second to compliment his amazing Cap'n.

Otto smiled, while nodding his head at what Grafiel said.

The duchess howerver internally sighed 'More like a perfect combination of the two things.' Despite the thought she smiled a little, the boy was truly walking in those two aspects, ignorant to the full danger of their world, which was not him to blame, however even after encountering those dangers he took that step foward in facing them with all his might, not backing down.

The only time we was giving up was in the Arc 3, and that was because nobody was helping him in facing those problems, even if it ended with him proposing Rem to run away with him, she now knew the sufficient of the boy to know that even at that time of his lowest point, his heart was still yearning to help his friends, all that he needed was a helping hand.

Helping hand that Rem offered.

She was really glad for the maid's help, since that action saved her camp from commiting a suicidal mission that could easily ended up in tragedy. She owns Rem a great deal for not only helping her, but also helping the boy she dearly holds feelings for.

'I just hope that Emilia-sama could push her aminiosity aside to see the full extent of how much Rem helped him' Crusch sighed while looking at the silver-haired canidate, while pondering something in her mind.

He shook his head and walked into the next room. Once he entered he awed at the little rivers and Wood bridges in the room.

"To make progress here, you will need to trigger several switches." Toriel explained "Don't worry, I have labelled the ones that you need to flip."

"Thanks Toriel." Smiled Subaru at the goat like monster, who returned the smile and proceeded to walk the path.

Subaru moved towards the fisrt sign in the room, Reading it. "Stay on the path." Subaru deadpanded a little at the obvious thing, he decided to continue foward, crossing the little bridges of ood with Toriel waiting for him; Suabru 'found' the first switch stuck in the wall with several draw arrows pointing at it; Subaru sweated a little at the excess of indications. Once he got to the switch he noticed that there was a mesage next to it. "Please press this switch; -TORIEL" Subaru read it, again deadpanning a little at the inidcations, but neverless finding sweet the actions of the female monster.

Most of the cast sweatdropped at the excessive indications.

"Geez, that monster is taking Big Bro as a moron." Felt said, also deadpanning at the screen "Well, sometimes he is with his downright suicidals plans."

"Felt-sama…" Reinhard pleaded for what it felt like the million time for his lady to watch out her vocabulary.

"Oh come on Rein, you know it holds some truth." Felt responded to his knight.

Reinhard wasn't sure of how to respond to that.

"She really is a nice lady." Emilia said, glad for the help she is offering.

Subaru proceeded to cross the brigde, meeting again with Toriel, this time in front a door that had spike coming down the floor, Subar looked at the obvious mechanism of security, "Cool." He thought, he then walked towards the switch and an pulled it down, causing the spikes preventing access to the other room to not be there anymore.

"Splendid!" exlaimed Toriel "I am proud of you, little one." Smiled the goat monster.

Subaru puffed his chest out, and making a confidence face, or trying, since instead was a bashful smile and slight tinge of red on his face, clearly caused by the compliment.

The pinch in the chest was back in the hearts of the ladies, liking the scenes that Subaru was making, coupulates with his adorable little self, it was making very difficult to resist the sentiment that scenes like this offered.

"Hehehe, yeah, I am awesome." Subaru said, trying to play it off with little smugness (he was failing horribly)

Garfiel nodded his head, agreeding with the statement of his Cap'n.

Toriel giggled a little, seeing through his act right away, but not commenting on it, letting the young one the have it. "Let us move to the next room." She continued her walk with Subaru following her.

Once they crossed, they found themselves in a smaller room, with what appered to be a dummy of practice.

"As a human living in UNDERGROUND, monsters may attack you." Toriel warned.

Little Subaru flinched, the encounter with the scary flower still fresh in his mind.

And the fuzzy feeling was once again evaporated at the mention of the flower.

Many people making scowls, remembering the horrible creature.

Beatrice growling under her breath at the memory of the flower and she was paritculary having a very vivid imagination were she was throwing her most powerful spells at the monster, wanting to reduce the disgusting thing to ashes or crystalized remains.

"You will need to be prepared for this situation." The gaot monster continued "However, worry not!, The process is simple." Subaru putted all of his attention.

"When you encounter a monster, you will enter a FIGHT." Toriel explained "While you are in a FIGHT, strike up a friendly conversation."

Prisiclla scoffed at this "Mineself has not heard such naive and stupid claim of this level in a while." She fanned her face while saying this. "This monster is truly a foolish one."

"Well, for your infomation, it exists other ways to solve things that don't involve violence." Replied Emil while throwing her a little glare.

Priscilla looked at the half elf while raising an unimpressed eyebrown. "Convesations are reserved for deals and agreedments, not in a place where the enemy wants you death, if you believe the contrary then your mind is pitiful." Priscilla dignified a little explanation while throwing an insult to the halfwit out of pity and amusument. "If your mouth is going to spout such unnecessary things then you better keep it closed, half-wit." Prisiclla finished while her tone was lanced with hidden fury at the stupidity of the girl.

"The same I could say to you, Barielle-san" Emiia responded with and equal tone lanced with venom.

The two stared at each other, while the others around them started to feel the tension increasing by the second.

"It's interesting." Priscilla sudden comment earned a confused face of the people around, including Emilia, though she manteined her glare. "Since coming to this place, you have grown a spine." She commented while fanning herself. "However is truly pathetic that such spine if wasted in backing up such naive and foolsih clamis and ideas, no wonder your camp is a disaster with you as their leader, and your knight is the one paying for your subordinates mistakes." Priscilla finished her speech, merciless, while shutting close her fan.

The camp in question took offense.

"You Bitch." Grafiel growled, his anger at this candidate keep incresing everytime she opened her mouth.

The oni maid sisters where throwing their own glares at her.

Roswaal just looked at other side, deep in pain as he remebers the thoughts of his mistakes that revolved around the nasty eyed boy.

Emilia looked at the Baroness with a cold look, clearly offended… but also hurt since, even if it was difficult to admit it… she was right.

"I know." Emilia whsipered loud enough for all of the to her. "That's is why I will make it up to him." She said with absolute resolve.

She just wanted to help her knight, with not only words but with also actions.

So with that in mind, she just narrowed her eyes more at the orange-haried candidate, before lookng back at the screen and ignoring her existance.

Priscilla hummed, unimpressed at the display of the half elf "Like I said, such spine begin wasted in such naive claims." The firely princess then proceeded to also ignore the candidate.

Everyone in the room relaxed, seeing that the confrontation it didn't scalate to worse.

Anastasia just shook her head at the antics of this two persons, not liking them one bit for different reasons, so she just decided to look back at the screen as if this never happened.

"Seriously, nya, whenever they talk to each other it is like an explosion will happen at anytime." Felix said, exasperated about the scene from that just occured.

Crsuch sighed, knowing that both Emilia and Prisiclla were at each other throats, and all of this happened just beacuse of what the monster said about the conversation.

'A conversation huh?' The Duchess thought while looking at Emilia with worry in her eyes, seeing that while Emilia have good intentions to help Subaru, she is slowly but surely taking a road that it will not help anyone.

Crusch pondered again something in her mind, after some thought she come to a decision.

But for now, she will continue looking at the screen.

Subaru made a confused face, so Toriel chosee to elaborate.

"Stall for time. I will come to resolve the conlfict." The caretaker of the ruins explained, making Subaru release a 'Ohhh' in understanding.

"So that what she meant." Julius said.

"Still not resolving the issue that involves converstation with someone that wants to hurt you, though." Al said.

"Practice talking tothe dummy." Toriel said.

Subaru moved towards the dummy, when he moved closer…

*CHU* *CHU* *CHU*

Subaru gasped, seeing his soul back again floating outside his chest.

'Ohh!, so it appers when I enter a fight' Subaru realized, but then a grim thought entered his mind 'So that means that the mean flower intended to attack me from the start' he thought, perturbed at how that flower disguised that as a 'learning' lesson.

Felt clicked her tongue against her teeth in annoyance at the mention of the flower, again.

Subaru shook his head a little, purging the thoughts out of his mind, now focusing at the task at hand.

Subaru looked at the dummy….

…Not knowing what to say, starting to feel a little embarrassed at the prospect of talking to an inanimated object.

So he started the 'conversation' with the universal…

"Sooo… nice weather...?" Subaru wanted to facepalm, feeling even now more embarrassed by using the most generic phrase he knows.

Many people in the room facepalmed at the pharse that Subaru had just used.

"Natsuki-san…" Otto said in embarassment.

"I expected nothing from you and yet you sitll manage to disappoint me, truly an unique skill of Barusu." Ram commented, saving this scene in her memory for future teasing material.

"That was… a liitle lame don't you think?" Petra said, not wanting to insult his savior…

…however that line was truly lame.

"It truly was." Tivey said, while he released a sigh, with Mimi nodding her head.

He looked towards Toriel, who was nodding at him, happy with his 'conversation'.

"Ah, very good!" she complimented "You are very good." She smiled at him, making Subaru feel bashful again. "Come, this way." She moved to next room with Subaru following.

"There is another puzzle in this room…" commented Toriel as they stepped in a larger room that had bindweeds hanging from one side of the room. "I wonder if you can solve it?" Toriel finished while continuing to walk in the larger room, following the path.

Subaru looked at her, intriged to see this puzzle.

The two of them moved in a rather narrowed, when suddenly…

*CHU* *CHU* *CHU*

Subaru looked around once he Heard the distinc sound his soul makes when he enters a fight. 'ALREADY?!' He thoguht alarmed, he knew, by what Toriel said, that he will be attacked, but he never expected to be so soon, not counting flowey that's it.

The cast tensed as this will be the second fight that Subaru got involved since coming to the underground.

"Attacking already, damn this monsters really don't waste time." Rocardo said at the scene, worried for a repeat similar like with the flower.

"But isn't Toriel close to him?" Anastasia questioned. "Attacking right now isn't the best of ideas." She reasonated the scene.

He looked until he found the culprit.

"A frog?" Subaru said to himself, but he could not help it, the monster in front of him and the animal he knows looked to similar to not notice.

"I suppose that this 'frog' is an species of your world?" Julius asked Aldebaran.

"Yes." Was the simple answer of the one armed warrior.

Beatrice pouted a little at this, seeing that once again the hemlet man robbed her of the opportunity of explaining something.

The frog look alike crounched down, ready to start, Little Subaru tensed, readying his body for any sign of sudden attack.

*tap* *tap* *tap* *tap*

Both Subaru and the monster looked in the direction of the sound, only to find a not amused Toriel that was tapping the ground with her feet, and also giving the now sweating monster a very nasty look, as if daring it to try anything in her presence.

The monster in a high IQ moment choosed the correct option, it turned around and hoped away from the place, not wanting to confrot the caretaker of the ruins.

"Yeah you better run away!" Felt said, satisfied with the scene.

Reinhard just shook his head at his lady, though, internally relieved that Subaru was helped.

"She seems well respected or feared if her mere presence was enough for this monster to leave." Crsuch noted.

"Well she said that she is the caretaker of the ruins, so it's normal that she had a higher standar than this monsters." Felix reasoned with his lady. Which got a smile from the Duchess, seeing her knight opening up to her again.

"Thanks for the deduction Felix." Crsuch thanked with complete honesty.

"It wasn't much Crusch-sama." Felix smiled, enjoying every second of having again this moments with his lady.

Both Toriel and Subaru watched the monster hop away, leaving them alone.

"Thanks, Toriel." Subaru thanked the goat monster. "What was that anyway?" he asked, referring to the now gone monster.

"That was a Froggit." Toriel said "There are many of them alonsige other types in the Ruins."

"So that what they are called huh." Al said under his breath, not wanting to interrupt the viewing, which in turn would cause his princess to be mad at him. And he didn't want that.

"Many of them?" gulped Subaru a little, already imaginating the high numbers of fights he will have to go through.

"Don't worry my child." Toriel assured "I am here to protect you."

Subaru appriciate the gesture, but he needed to ask "But…What do I do if I encounter one and you are gone?"

Toriel paused at that. Only for a moment, before she smiled "If that happens then try complimenting them, the Froggits are know to be easy to please."

"Well, it seems that Natsuki-san at least now knows what to do against this 'froggits'." Otto said, pleased that his brother is getting information that could help him.

"But what about the rest of monsters?" Frederica said, pointing out the fact that, as Toriel said, there are more monsters.

Otto just sighed. "Lets up hope that he can find the way to deal with them without serious problems." Otto said, hoping for that.

Subaru looked at her, then blushed a little at the prospect of compliment someone. "I-I will try."

The goat monster nodded, happy with that "Let's continue my child." Toriel said.

"Y-yeah" Subaru said, resuming the walking.

When they were moving Subaru caught in his field of vision another sign, so he decided read it.

"The western room is the Eastern room's blueprint" Subaru had a confused face reading that, and after a few moments he decided to ignore it, not wanting to have a headache.

The people in the theatre were just as confused at this like the little Subaru on screen.

They just decidedto follow the examlpe of Subaru, to ignore this to continue the viewing.

The duo of monster and human made it to one room, a large one filled with wáter, with a long bridge that permited Access to the other room, but there was one little problem.

"Huuuuh, Toriel how… how am I suppose to do this?" Subaru sweated a little at seeing the large brigde with spikes, fearful at the prospect of what outcome can cause this puzzle 'Well, I can always try to swim towards the other end.' Subaru thought seeing another alternative, the bad side is that he doesn't has spare clothes, the least he wants is getting sick in this place.

"This is a little ridiculous." Tivey said, looking at the bridge filled with spikes, not finding a path.

"Ma Cap'n will solve this, no sweat." Garfiel said, believing in his captain.

Otto just shook his head at that.

"This is the puzzle, but…" Toriel trailed off her sentence, seeing that this maybe was a little too much for the Young one "Here, Take my hand for a moment."

Subaru looked at her offered hand for a moment, before taking it.

Toriel then started to walk into the puzzle, following a path that was safe by the retracting spikes, taking it slowly and gently "Watch your step my child."

"Whoa so that i show you solve it." Emilia said, surpirsed by this puzzle.

"Mmmhh, I wonder how this works." Anastasia said, intriged by the complex mechasim behid this puzzle.

"Yeah." Little Subaru said, both a little fearful at having to be so close to the spikes but also marveling at the puzzle.

They continued the small travel until they made it to the other end.

Garfiel was a little disappointed that his amazing captain didn't get the chance to show off, but neverless he was glad at least he didn't get hurt.

Toriel looked aback at the puzzle "Puzzles seem a little too dangerous for now."

"Well, yeah, you are right." Subaru said, then he looked at Toriel "Thanks a lot Toriel, you are the best!" Subaru squeezed her hand in show of appriceation.

"Thank you, my child" Toriel smiled at the human, returning the squeeze, before looking back at the the hands that were currently grabbing, and Subaru could have swore that for a moment, the face and eyes turned a little… sad?

Many people in the cast were confused by the face that the goat monster was making, curiosity and intrige increasing in them at the sight.

"Toriel, are you alright?" Subaru asked a little concerned.

Whatever was happening in the head of the goat monster stopped at the question of the kid, replacing the sad look with a smile, even though there was a little melancholy still there.

"It's nothing my child." Toriel assured, not wanting to worry the Young one "Let's continue." Toriel, with some reclutance, let go of the hand, before proceeding to walk into the next room.

Subaru looked at her, still a little concerned, noticing that something was amiss, but in the end, he decided to drop the topic and continued to follow Toriel into the next place.

"Huuh, that was… weird." Al commented at the strange behaviour of Toriel.

"You say it." Ricardo also said, finding that scene curious to say the least.

Crusch and Wilhelm however noticed the eyes and they immedieately found familiarity in them, after all they sported the look in the past and even sometimes to this day.

It was the face of someone that lost people dear to them.

For Crusch, she knows this, since the death of Fourier she often found her face making that look everytime she looked at the mirror in the past, when the lost was still fresh.

For Wilhelm, he knews since he still has that look everytime he remembers a memory of his beautiful wife.

'What happened to you?' The two of them, unknowingly at the same time, thought, feeling sympathy for the monster.

Once Toriel and Subaru entered the other room, Toriel stopped and turned to look at Subaru.

"You have done excellently thus far, my child." Toriel complimented. "However… I have a difficult request to ask of you."

"What kind of request, I suppose?" Beatrice raised a delicate eyebrown at this.

Subaru looked confused at this.

"…" Toriel was quiet for a moment. "I would like you to walk to the end of the room by yourself."

"That's… pretty simple." Otto said, confused as he expected something more… interesting to say the least.

"Indeed it is." Julius said, equally confused as the merchant.

Grafiel scoffed. "This will be easy for ma Cap'n." if it was a challenge, then the monster should choose a more challening thing.

Subaru tilted little at the side to look past Toriel, seeing the room, however it he frowned a little when he could not see the end of it. 'Just how long is this room?'

All of the cast blinked at such sight.

"Huh, how is that possible?" Tivey say, begining to have a little headache for all the amount of surprises that this place is offering.

"Magic, maybe." His sister shrugged at his question.

The three that questioned the request were blinking like owls. Shocked at the lenght of the room.

"Well, the room it is certainly… large." Otto said.

"Large he says." Julius scoffed. "We can't see the end of it."

"Well no matter, Cap'n will complete this request." Garfiel was still firm in his belief.

"Forgive me for this." Subaru broke out of his stupor at the voice of Toriel.

That confused at what was said by the monster.

"What is she apologizing about, in fact?" Beatrice narrowed he reyes a little.

"What do you mea-" Subaru couldn't finish his sentence when Toriel turned and walked faster than he had seen putting great distance between, leaving him alone.

The poeple were shocked at this turn.

"WHAT?!" Felt exlcaimed at this. "She is leaving him!"

"OI, OI!" Garfiel exlaimed also. "What is the meanin' of this'?!"

"That wrech." Beatrice grumbled.

Rem's visible eye narrowed at the thing that the monster did to her hero. With Ram doing the same thing.

"Why is she doing such a thing?" Emilia was confused and hurt in seeing the nice lady doing something like this.

Priscilla just scoffed at the sight. 'This is what happens if you trust your enemies you fool.' She thought, revealing that she didn't trust the monster from the very begining.

"W-WAIT!" Subaru screamed, incredulous at the sight, before running to catch up to the goat monster.

However it seemed that he more he runned, the more faster the monster became and sonner he lost sight of her in the seemengly endless corridor. 'Damn, she is fast!' Subaru didn't stop his run, though.

"She sure is." Ricardo said, a little surpised that the goat monster could walk that fast.

"Wait Toriel!" Suabru screamed hoping that at least she could still hear his voice. "Don't leave me please!" He didn't recive an answer.

'JUST HOW LONG IS THIS CORRIDOR?!' Subaru screamed in his mind for he at least have been running for a good amount of seconds and still could no see the end. 'Did… did she just abandoned me?' Subaru could feel the tears start to form at the corners of his eyes at the apparent betrayal.

All the people that cared for Subaru started to feel anger, expressing this with glares at the screen, for causing Subaru to feel that way.

"Great, another mean monster." Petra pouted angrily at this, with Frederica patting her head, trying to calm her down, though she also sported a glare.

Crusch narrowed her amber colored eyes, feeling anger but still giving the benefit of doubt at Toriel, even a little.

Garfiel was now growling at the audacity of this monster. While Otto was, again, trying to calm him down.

Emilas eyes were dimmed at hearing the pain in her knight's mind. It really brought bad memories, a LOT bad memories.

Especially the ones that revolved around a certain maid when she torutured the boy in question when he was having those same thoughts of betrayals in his mind.

She didn't want to her such a painful tone ever again, it broke her heart to even try to remember them.

He continued to run for another seconds before he started to feel tired, but he managed to reach the end of the corridor.

But the goat monster wasn't there…

The aminiosity towards the monster increased in those that were thinking bad about her, seeing that she seemingly abandoned Subaru to his luck.

Subaru leaned to the sole stone pillar that was there, breathing hard since he was out of breath for running at full speed for so much time, but still that didn't stop the tears forming in his eyes when he didn't see the helpful monster.

'So…' Subaru swallowed a little bumd in his throat 'She really leaved me alone…' Subaru's lower lip started to tremble at the prospect of losing what appered to be the only chance he had in a guide for exiting this place.

'How I am gonna get out then?' Subaru thought, depressed.

However before he could dewell more into his mind, Toriel appered, steping out of the stone pillar, surprising Subaru.

"Huh?"

With that, any negative feeling was washed with confusion at seeing that the monster indeed never leaved Subaru.

Crusch sighted relieved that the monster didn't abandon Subaru.

"So she didn't abandoned him." Petra asked, in a hopeful tone, wanting to believe that the monster wasn't mean.

"It seems so." Frederica said to her charge.

"But then what was that stun?" Otto asked, confused by what the monster did, or better yet, why.

"Greetings, my child…" The goat monster greeted again, however she saw the little tears that were forming in the face of Subaru, she grimanced a little at that. "Don't worry, I did not leave you." She assured the child. "I was merely behind this pillar the whole time." She explained, wanting to get across that she never intended to leave him alone. "Thank you for trusting me."

"B-But then…" Subaru inhaled a little, still out of breath. "Why did you run away?"

"That is the important question." Al said. "Why did she do such a thing in the first place?"

Toriel sighed, a little sad that she had to do such a thing to the Young one. "However, there was an important reason for tis excercise." At this Subaru looked at her, wanitng an explanation.

"To test you Independence." Toriel said. "I must attend some business, and you must stay alone for a while." She explanied.

Priscilla hummed at that, seeing the reason behind it. "That makes sense." Not that she trusted the monster, though.

"I mean, in retrospective it wasn't such a big deal, but after the encounter with that… flower, it certainly didn't give us such a positive impression on monsters." Tivey sighed, while taking off his monocle to clean it. "Though, it was still a little cruel, to give such scare to Big Bro Boss." He finished while placing back his monocle on his face.

"Yeah." Ricardo agreeded with what was said by the little mercenary.

"Well, certainly, Miss Toriel will never be around to help Subaru, so it make sense that she needed to implant that in Subaru." Reinahrd talked, after begn silent for a while. "But I would have prefered if she could just have talked to him instead of doing this." He sighed, seeing the good in the act of Toriel but not in the method.

Suabru looked confliect at this.

Toriel seeing his faces he further reasoned. "Please remain here. It is dangerous to explore by yourself." But seeing that the little one still looked insecure she try another method. "I have an idea."

Subaru regarded her with a look of curiosity.

"I will give you a CELLPHONE." She said, at this Subaru widen his eyes.

Many widened their eyes at this.

"They have Big Bros metias!" Felt said, surprised at this.

Even Anastasia was shocked at this. "How do they have those? Aren't those supposed to be human inventions?" Anastasia was rubbing her scarf, in seeing that the monsters also had the technology of Subaru's world down there, the question is how though.

"This is certainly unexpected." Al sincerly said, after all, he didn't see that coming.

"Wait, there are cellphones here!" Subaru exclaimed.

"Of course my child." She reassured the nasty-eyed boy.

At this Subaru looked hopeful 'I can contact my parents!'

At this many were surprised.

"That is right!" Otto said in realization, remebering of one of Beatrice previous explanations that the cellphone served as a communiacation device.

"The that means that Subaru can inform his situation to his parents." Emilia was happy that, for once, Subaru had the luck on his side. (4)

Roswaal looked at this, debating something in his mind. 'Could the metia work even though there is such powerful sealing magic?' He decided to see if that happened.

"If you have a need for anything, just call." Toriel said, while reaching out of her robe, taking out a cell pone and giving it to Subaru."Be good, alright?" She said, giving him a loving smile before turning around and leaving the boy.

Subaru looked at her retreating form before turning to the cell pone in his hand."Huh, this looks like a Nokia." He commented looking the the brick-like and compacted form, but still wil do the work.

"What is a 'Nokeya'?" Petra said, saying the strange name.

Beatrice was about to open her mouth but she was beaten.

"Well, a Nokia is a type of phone, one of the many models that exist around our world." Al explained. "The Nokias are very famous, for they are one of the most old and ancient models that existed, and those models looked like the one our Pal here is holding."

Betracie was pouting at the one armed man for stealing her moment.

Al paused for a moment before a mischevous thought entered his mind.

"However..." Al continued gaining back the attention of the cast "They are also famous for another thing."

Many were intriged at this.

"And what is this other aspect?" Anastasia was the one to ask, wanting to milk all the information she could.

Al smiled under his helmet before saying.

"Their indestructibility."

Many blinked at that.

"What?" Mimi asked.

"As you heard." Al continued, doing his best to supress his laugh. "In my world there are man rumors that revolve around their incredible resistent and durability to the point that it was believed to be impossible to destroy them."

"How so?" Tivey asked, a little skeptical at this claims.

"For example, It was said that even if you dropped the phone at great heights, it would still remaind unscratched." Al said.

"Really?" Ricardo said, blinking at the information. "That tiny thing?"

Al nodded his head sagely before proceeding to say more.

"There is another example, they said that if you throw a Nokia with all your strength against the hardest of floors, it breaks."

Tivey deadpanned at this "Didn't you said-"

"The floor that's it." Al finished after purposely leaving the cliffhanger while trying now very hard to not laugh.

Many were silent at this.

"Your are bullshitting me, I know it." Ricardo said, deadpanning this.

"He is… telling the truth." Crusch said, blinking, trying to see if her divine protecting was now failing her.

It didn't.

Many turned to look at her with widen eyes.

"Sir Al is indeed telling the truth." The sword saint gave his own input.

The person with children like minds were inmidiately awed at the relevations.

"TIVEY!" Mimi lauched herself towards his brother. "We need this Nokeyas now!" she was now shaking him by the her hold on his shoulders.

"But we don't know how to make them!" Tivey tried to reasoned with her sister.

"Don't worry, once Big Bro's Boss joins our camp we can make as much as we like." Mimi said.

"Why do you one anyway?!" Tivey asked, starting to get nausea from all the shaking.

"To throw them at my enemies of course!" Mimi said, imagining the possibilities of throwing those indestructibles things against her opponents, already picturing their faces when they feel the tremendous durability and power of those things impacting them or when they are unable to destroy them.

"Sister." Tivey sighed, leaved it to her sister to do something like that.

"Brotto!, I didn't know ma Cap'n has somethin' so incredible!" Garfiel said. "I want to destroy one of them!" Garfiel said excited, wanitng to test his strenght against this indestructible ítem.

"Please refraim form doing it, Garfiel-san." Otto sighed, but Garfiel was in his own little world.

Beatrcie was now directing her adorable pout at the sleeping form of his contractor, for not telling her such amazing claims of the Nokia.

She huffed "Stupid contrator." She grumbled under her breath adorably.

"Incredible." Crsuch said, surprised by the information.

"And what material are used to make this metias?" asked the ever curious merchant queen.

"That I don't know, their materials remains a mystery to me." Al said, really, really trying to not laugh.

Anastasia pouted at this, irritated by the lack of answer.

'They totally buy it!' Al screamed inside his mind, laughing like a madman.

'Thanks Meme culture' Al thought, knowing that the reason as to why those divine protections could not detect lies was beacuse he 'saw' those fantastical rumors had a "proof" thanks to those images, so he was in fact telling the true in knowing those rumors and knowign that it was "possible" for the Nokia to do that, without actually telling the full truth, all thanks to the little meme culture he remebers since coming here. Priscilla was looking with a little narrowed eyes at his clown before huffing, losing the interest.

Once the hype was calmed down their resumed the viewing.

'What was their Numbers?' Subaru wrecked his little mind, trying to remember the contact to his parents, after a while he remembered, which caused him to inmideately tapping the number in the pone, and tapping the call button.

"Come on, come on…" Subaru said while he hear the tunes that the call was making his way.

However, he just recived garbage noise, making him depressed that he could not contact his parents. "Of course, nothing is easy." He muttered bitterly, pushing the cancel button.

"Damn it." Otto cursed under his breath.

"It was certainly too good to be true, in fact." Beatrice sighed, not liking to be shown another reminder of his Betty's Subaru luck.

"Sooo the sealing magic also interfers with thoooose metias~" Roswaal said, but everyone pointely ignored him. "Ruuude~" He said, not feeling ofended.

His eyes then catched that in the phone was already registered Toriel, with her name at the top.

He pondered a momento before deciding to call her. There was a ring befoe the call was answered. "[This is Toriel]"

"Ah…hey, hello Toriel." Subaru greeted the goat monster.

"[My child, why are you calling, did something happened?]" The voice sounded a little worried.

"No, nothing happened it just that I wanted to see if the phone worked." Subaru said. "Andto say… hello?" He asked more than saying.

"He certainly needs to improve his small talk." Priscilla commented, as she didn't want another lame show of his talking capabilities like with the dummy.

"[You just wanted to say hello?]" Toriel asked. "[Well then, Hello!]" She greeted with a happy voice and exaggerated tone. "[I hope that suffices. Hee hee.]" Toriel giggled at the end.

Suabru responded with his own giggles, remebering that sometimes he did silly things likes this with his mother.

"[Is that all my child?]" Toriel asked.

"Yeah that will be all, thanks Mom." Subaru said, before he widen his eyes before he quickly slapped his hand against his mouth for the word that escaped. 'Crap, I didn't mean to say that!' He mentally slapped himself for the little slip, no doubt product of his little memory trip of his own family.

Silence.

There was a moment of silence at the slip of Subaru.

"Well, this is… awkward." Otto said a little nervous, with Garfiel nodding at his side.

"Leaved it to Barusu to not be able to control what his mouth spouts." Ram shook her head, internally also feeling awkward at the moment.

"[…]" The other side of the call was awfully silent. Which made Subaru more nervous.

"[Huh?]" The voice of Toriel sounded in the phone as if she just got out a little trance. "[Did you just call me… "Mom"?]" She sounded shocked.

Before Subaru could correct his mistake, Toriel unkwowingly interrputed him.

Crusch and Wilhelm inmidiately put he two and two togheter when their heard the tone and phrase that was used.

'So that was it, huh?' Crusch thought at the conclusion she reached.

Wilhelm shook his head sadly at this, knowing well what was happening with Toriel, he looked at the side to see his grandson, his mind telling him that he for certain would feel the same of he lost now his grandson, the same one he just stared to recconect, to made up his mistakes against him.

"I…" Subaru nervously tried to reply but once again he got interrupted.

"[Well then call me whatever you like!]" She said nervously as if she just wanted to end this call, which she did since Subaru could hear no more after a *Click* in the other end.

Suabru looked at his phone with a confused face. "What was all of that?" He asked to no one before he pinched his nose. "That was a little awkward."

"You tell me." Coughed a little the Dogman, trying to dissipated the awkward feeling he got from the scene.

Many were nodding at the mercenary claim, however there was people that was still intriged by the strange attitute the goat monster took at those moments.

Subaru sighed before slumping down in a wall, intending to wait. Seconds passed before he started to divulge in his own thoughts. 'Well, this is certainly boring…´He said.

He could try to call again Toriel, but he decided against it, with how the last call endend he didn't want to put more awkwardness between them.

Sometime passed before his mind started to divulge into the other things. 'Am I… really secure in this room?' he asked himself.

Priscilla now smirked liking the boy questioning his surrondings, after all, that served to survive in enemy territory.

'But, what am i thinking? Of course it is.' He reasoned with himself. 'No monster had appered here.'

'But for how long it will be that way.' Little Subaru questioned. 'What if.. that mean flower comes back?' He shuddered at the thought alone, not wanitng to face that monster again.

But it was plausible.

He was alone, an opportunity that monster would no doubt take to finish what it started.

Suabru trembled, the maniac laugh of the monster returning to his head.

Many also grimanced at the now incredible high possibility of the flower rearing it's ugly head back, and trobuling Subaru more.

"I don't want the meanie flower to come back." Petra said, feeling angry at the thought of the flower coming back.

Rem narrowed her eyes at that, hating now that her hero could be in trouble.

"That is certain a possibility." Crsuch said, not liking the discovery.

"Do I…" Suabru trailed off, while turning to look at the door thatlead to the other room.

Subaru pondered, before he got a determinated face. "I… I have to continue." He started to get up. "I need to get out of this place, and staying here waiting would get me nowhere." He started walking towards the door, before stopping infront of it.

"That is the way of thinking Natsuki-san." Otto smiled, seeing his brother getting determined.

'Beside, I don't want to risk a meeting with that flower again.' He thought, for flowey have proved to be dangerous.

Many nodded at that, better not risk that possibility.

Subaru then looked at the door while cleching his tiny fists, "Just like Toriel said, I have to be independed."

"This place was called UNDERGROUND, right?" Little Subaru then smiled. "Well then, prepare yourself UNDEGROUND, because you are about to meet Natsuki Subaru." He proclaimed to himself, braving himself up again to face the unknow.

"Let's go!, That is ma Cap'n!" Garfiel exclaimed at the awesomes of his captain. Loving every moment that his Cap'n got to show off his badassness, as his Cap'n would said.

'That's Rem's hero.' Rem thought, happy to see his love fearless moments.

Many were smiling, seeing the resolve of the Young boy at the screen.

'I WILL get out of this place, that is a promise.' WIth that final though Subaru crossed the door, even if he was still a little nervous he was ready to face whatever this place throwed at him.

For he wanted to go back home.

An nobody will be stopping him.

*The screen goes balck*

"What?"

"It ended already?"

[TIME UNTIL NEXT VIEW 5 HOURS]

"Huh? We already reached the break?" Al asked, while scratching the side of his helmet.

"The time really passed fast, heh?" said the mercenary boss.

"Well then." Priscilla stood up from her seat. "I will be going, after all I need a break from all of your stupidity. Let's go Aldebaran." Priscilla then proceeded to go to her spare room, leaving behind a multitude of pissed off people.

Al sighed at the attitude of his princess before walking to where she leaved.

"I really hate that bitch." Felt said, while also standing up. "Let's go Rein."

"Of course my lady."

"I appriciate the break." Anastasia said, also getting out of her seat. "After all, I need to process all of this information." She smiled, liking the fact that this viewing could also be productive. "Want to walk with me, Julius-kun?" she asked.

"Always, Anastasia-sama." Came the replie of the Knight.

"Well, then let's go you little balls of destruction." Ricardo said, while talking to the twins.

"Mimi is not a ball of destruction!"

"Sister please."

The trio walked, intending to use this break to their maximun.

Roswaal sighed. "Let'S go Ram." He said while walking away.

"Yes, Roswaal-sama."

Rem looked at where her dear sister was, and started to feel sad again while she also felt disgut at the Margrave. 'What does Nee-sama sees in him?' Rem growled, not liking that such scum is at the side of her sister.

"Well Otto bro, I need to sleep a little, after all I don't want to lose a single seocnd of ma Cap'n adventure." Garfiel said, going to his spare room.

"Take care, Garf." Frederica said.

"Yes, Sis." Came the replie of the shield of sanctuary.

"Well, I also need to-" Otto was going to say something but was interrupted.

"Excuse me, Emilia-sama."

Everyone looked toward the green-haried Duchess, who was now infront of the silver-haried candidate.

"Huh, Crusch-san." Emilia was surpised. "Not that I dislike you here but I thought that you were with Wilhelm-san and your knight." Emilia said, though one could hear the little stress when she mentioned the catboy.

"I told them that I will be here, and they could proceed without me" Crusch began. "Emilia-sama, Can we talk?" Crsuchsaid tentatively. "Privately?"

"Of course we can." Emilia seemed confused but still agreed.

"Then can you please follow me." Cruschsaid while walking towards where they could talk.

"Yes." Emilia got up from her seated beside the boy. "I will come back in a momento, please take care of him, Beako." With that she follwed the duchess.

"You don't need to said to me, in fact." Beatrice said, not bothering to trying to correct her in the name, already giving up on that.

Otto looked where the duo disappired, feeling a little conflicted with what could happen.

He just hoped for the best.

Well, that certainly is the longest chapter that i had wrote, 20k words!, now that is someting I am patting my back on.

Would you believe me if I said that this was just the first TEN MINUTES of the game, dear lord, what I have got myself into it?!

Anyway, let's continue.

Now though this chapter was supposed to come out a LOT sooner, but shit happened in my life and that got me in low motivation, no kidding, I tried to write the chapter but I was falling sleep, freaking SLEEP, so I knew that I needed time to recuperate before I could write again, fortunely I got it back fast so here we are, in this chapter.

I am sorry for the long wait, but I didn't want to bring some halfassed chapter, after all you don't need to recive a mediocre work just beacuse some shit happened, and if i wrote in those moments then i would be just giving you also that negativity, and you don't deserve that.

I just hope that the wait was woth of it.

So here is a little secret, Originally I had another thing i wanted the cast to react, and that was the world of one puch man, with either Subaru taking the rol of Saitama or Garou, since those two could bring out juicy reactions with great infomation behind. But I decided to use undertale instead, since the idea was revolving around my mind for months.

Maybe in the future I would do that, but I am not sure, after all I don't want to use so much the cast of WHAAA.

So here i will be leaving the trivia and some omakes, i hope you enjoy it, but also a little special thanks to the author sero176, author of not only "Watching A Stone World form Zero" but also "Re:Zero In Another World With A Skeleton", thank you form mentioning me in your new story and I am glad that my story served as a motivation for you to write your own Undertale and Re:Zero crossover. I don't know, So this is something from Arc 7, and is that Subaru suspects that Al comes from the same time frame as him, is just that Aldebaran got sent more than 15 years back before he arrived, so Aldebaran knowing some memes is plausible, HOWEVER keep in mind that he will not know every meme, he can hardly remeber more or less what a goat is like as seen when he could not picture the name of the animal, beacuse of the amount of time he was separated from his world, so I doubt he can rember all of it. "Why then did he remember the Nokia?" Beacuse as he said, he put especial énfasis in other things to remember, such as phones are one of those, and say, who doesn't have heard the meme of the durability of the Nokia in this time and age.

OMAKE 1: THE TRUE WAY TO WIN A FIGHT!

Once Subaru entered the room where the dummy is, he inmidiately knew what to do.

Toriel looked on, confused as to why the Young one looked so serious.

Subaru proceeded to plant firm his feet against the floor. Straingting himself out, while extending both of his arms out at each side of him, while doind the best poker face he could manage.

Subaru was using the imposing T-pose.

"What is this clown now doing?" Prisiclla asked, raising an eyebrown.

Many were confused as well.

Toriel looked confused as hell at the weirdness of this child.

It beacem even more wierd when the dummy, SOMEHOW started to sweat.

"I CAN'T DO THIS!" The dummy screamed, not supporting another second in the presence of the T-posing Subaru.

So it did the best thing…

It flew away.

Subaru looked proud of himself.

And Toriel was there not knowing what the hell just happened.

Everyone was deadpanning at the screen, not able to process the thing that just happened.

"I am done with this shit." Al said getting up from his seat and got out of the theatre.

Subaru called Toriel.

There was a ring befoe the call was answered. "[This is Toriel]"

"Hey mama~" Subaru put a weird seductive voice.

"[…]" There was silence. "[Huh?]" Toriel said.

"[Oh, heh… heh…]" There was a little awkwardness before she started to take it as a joke. "[Ha! Ha! Ha! How adorable…]" Toriel said. [I could pinch your cheek!, You can certainly find better than an old woman like me.]"

"MILF." Was Subaru simple yet powerful answer.

Subaru looked at the phone, satisfied with the call.

The cast was greatly perturbed by this.

So, I just read the chapter 39 of the Web novel of arc 7.

Yeah, Smol Subaru makes himself canon, who would have known.

I truly did not expected that to happen, it seems that Tappei is using this arcto bring some fanservice, first the crossdressing ability of Suabru, making now Natsumi to debut in that Arc, then not this smol Subaru, not that I mind the fanservice if it helps Subaru to not have to deal with suffering, even if only a little bit.

Seriously, the next thing we might know is that now smol subru had a plan to conquer the world with his adorableness, after all he is already doing this in my fic.
