DINNER TIME..
KAGOME'S POV
Mom and I were cooking away in the kitchen when we heard a knock at the door. I stiffened at the noise knowing one of the two men was behind the door. I sighed, putting the bowl in my hands down and washing away the residue on my hands. Suki and Akita ran into the kitchen smiling. "They're here!" my girls squealed. I smiled knowing how happy they were. A knot formed in my stomach the closer we walked to the door. 'Hopefully everything goes smoothly for the girls sake' I thought to myself. I slid open the door to see both Sesshomaru and Inuyasha standing glaring at each other. They stopped once they realised the girls were there. "Hey sweethearts" Inuyasha smiled down at the girls grabbing akita in his arms. Akita giggled, holding on to her dad's neck. "How's the princesses?" Sesshomaru picked up Suki, snuggling her. I let out a breath and welcomed the men in. "What's for dinner? It smells so good in here" Inuyasha groaned, sniffing the air deeply. "Mommy's special rice curry!" Both girls jumped up at the same time in excitement. We were all sitting in the living room. A sat in the love chair in the corner while Sesshomaru took one couch and Inuyasha took the other couch, sitting with their daughters.
I looked around at the two built men sitting across from each other. I caught glances my way from both of them but ignored it. Thinking back on what Sango said I grew red faced. 'What could she have been thinking about suggesting that? They are both too dominant and possessive to even try that'. I began chewing my thumb, a bad habit I had acquired throughout the years. 'Thought it would be hot'. I caught myself and felt my face grow hotter. 'What the fuck was that?' Shaking my head from the thoughts willing their way into my head. I looked back towards my daughters and Suki was staring at me intently. "What's up bugga-boo?" I called in her direction. "I'm hungry!" She crossed her arms and pouted. I just laughed "I think it should be ready now so why don't you two go and wash up and then we can eat?". The girls were gone faster than I finished the sentence, giggling the whole way down the hall.
NORMAL POV
Kagome stood up after the girls ran out. There was awkward silence in the room after they left though. "You guys hungry?" Kagome asked them sheepishly. "I am starving" Sesshomaru said looking Kagome up and down "Did you get my flowers?". Inuyasha's head whipped up from his phone "Did you get MY flowers too?" he added trying to make conversation as well. Kagome was shocked, she felt the tension again in the air as the brothers stared between her and each other. She sighed. "Yes I got both of your flowers and they were lovely. I also accept both of your apologies. But we need to get along for the kids and please just try not to rip each other's heads off when they are not in the room". She looked at them with pleading eyes. "I don't want them knowing what happened the other night and I want their birthday to be perfect. So please?". Inuyasha and Sesshomaru looked at Kagome then at each other and frowned when their eyes met. 'I don't know how much of him I can put up with but for Akita I will try to put up with his ego' Inuyasha thought to himself. "I guess I can try to get along with this asshole" he said. Sesshomaru frowned at his words "Suki would be mad at me if I killed her sister's dad so I will 'try' as well". Kagome smiled satisfactorily. "Great! Then let's get to the kitchen. The girls are probably almost done and we need to set the table." Kagome walked out towards the kitchen, unaware two sets of eyes were watching her behind as we strutted out the room. Inuyasha and Sesshomaru frowned at each other. "I hope you know that I still haven't given up trying with her" Sesshomaru announced, quiet enough that Kagome wouldn't hear. Inuyasha narrowed his eyes on him. "And what makes you think I have either?" Inuyasha growled as he walked towards the kitchen. Sesshomaru stood their fists clenched. His beast wanted out, he wanted to destroy Inuyasha. But Sesshomaru reminded him that their pup would hate them if they did that and his beast retreated slightly. He heard Suki calling him from the kitchen telling him to hurry up and that everyone was waiting. He bounded off towards the kitchen. He found everyone sitting at the table with a spot at the end for him next to suki and Kagome. Next to Kagome wak Akita and Inuyasha. Then Sakura and Kikyou and Sota.

INUYASHA'S POV
I walked away from my brother. Who does he think he is? He had a one night stand with MY girlfriend four years ago and now he thinks he has some kind of claim on her. She's mine. She's always been mine. For the last four years I haven't dated anyone. I've had her on my mind and now she's back and I'm not giving her up for anything. I'll get her back and he is not going to get between that! Kikyou will be okay. She was always good. When I walked into the kitchen I was immediately grabbed by two small hands. "This way daddy!" I looked over towards Kagome, still getting pulled by my sweet little daughter. It looked like we were going to be sitting beside her. But my ears flattened to the top of my head when Akita took the seat directly beside Kagome. I wanted that seat. "Sit down daddy! I'M HUNGRY! And no one can eat till everyone is seated!" Suki had called him, being jealous Akita had her daddy there but not her. That's when I felt a foot slide up my leg and slide in between my thighs. My head shot up and my gaze fell on Kikyou who was across from me. She had a mischievous gleam in her eyes as I felt her foot inch closer to my already growing cock. SESSHOMARU POV
I walked into the kitchen and saw my seat beside my future mate and my daughter. I looked over at Akita and Inuyasha who were beside Kagome. My eyes scanned the table, Sakura was beside Inuyasha. Beside her was Kikyou and Sota. I took my seat and smiled at Suki. "You hungry pup?" I looked over at Suki who was eyeing the yakitori on the table. She blushed and nodded her head at me. I smiled at her and put a yakitori on her plate. Her face lit up, she looked to Kagome for permission to start eating, Kagome nodded and she dug in. "So Kagome." I turned my attention to the beauty sitting beside me. "How's your new job going?" I smiled lightly at her. She swallowed the bite she was chewing. She looked so cute eating. "It's going good, stressful, but good. It helps though that Sango is there" she looked over at me with a smile. "How's work at the company? Inu Taisho doing well?" Kagome took another spoonful in her beautiful mouth. It was hard to concentrate on her words when her lips were so alluring.
"Works the same as usual. Busy and stressful. We are trying to make a trade deal with the tech company in Sweden but it's not going very well. They don't want to budge in the negotiation part of it" I rubbed my temples just thinking about it. "Father is doing well, still strong and stubborn as ever" I looked over at Suki. Father still doesn't know about the situation with Suki and Akita. "He still doesn't know everything. He knows you came back, only because I had to tell him why Inuyasha and I were together so often". I looked at her face for any kind of response. Hoping she wouldn't be mad that he still doesn't know. "He's gonna find out sooner or later Sesshomaru. They are not something you can hide from him. Plus he is their grandfather. He deserves to know his grandkids." Kagome spoke calmly, still happily enjoying her food. "Why don't we set up a time for them to meet him. We just wont tell him what the meeting is for right away" she suggested.
I sighed, already feeling the headache this would bring. But she's right we can't hide the girls forever and he deserves to see his grandkids. He was a great father to me, even after he and my mother split up and he had Inuyasha with Izayoi, he was still a great father. "I think that's a good idea. I will contact him about it in the next couple days. We will all have to get together and plan it out beforehand though" I gestured with my head over to Inuyasha. "Daddy, who's Inu Taisho?" Suki piped up. "He's my dad" I leaned over and kissed the top of her head "So your Oji. We are planning for you two to meet him soon". She smiled brightly and went back to eating excited about what I had said.
I went to grab the onigiri when a scent hit my nose. Arousal. No mistaking it. I scanned the table with my eyes. They fell on Inuyasha who was fidgeting and Kikyou who had a huge smirk on her face. A smirk grew on my face. I scanned the table smiling when I found my target. I watched for a second when Inuyasha looked around frantically. I smirked knowing he was trying to see if anyone had noticed. I asked Kagome to pass me the gyoza, which happened to be right beside Inuyasha. She put a hand up gesturing for a second as she was having a contest to see how many rice balls she could eat with Akita, but I knew it wouldn't be long. Inuyasha's eyes fell on me and his face grew a shade paler. I could see Kagome Finishing up from the corner of my eye. She turned to Inuyasha who was still staring blankly at me. "Inuyasha could you pass me the Gyoza?" She asked. No response. "Inuyasha? Hey Inu?" She said again slightly louder.
Everyone was now stopping what they were doing because of Kagome talking to Inuyasha. Still trying to get his attention, waving a hand in front of his face. Akita had had enough and grabbed his arm and pulled him. I had to muffle a snort as I watched him try to save himself from being exposed. "Daddy! Mommy's been asking you to pass the gyoza!" Inuyasha's face turned red. Kagome gave him a curious glance as she examined him. "Sorry I got a little lost in thought Kags" he said sheepishly. I turned to Kagome as she passed me the gyoza "here Sesshomaru". "Thanks Kagome" , still watching Inuyasha from the corner of my eye as a salty scent hits my nose. I internally gagged, knowing what it was. Hopefully the scent will pass before I puke.
