Story Summary: Sometimes, a chance encounter at a pet shop is all it takes. A romantic comedy told in drabbles.

The bell over the door tinkled, heralding another customer's arrival. Momentarily distracted from her perusal of the store shelves, Buyo squirmed in her arms, and Kagome adjusted her grip on him once more. The cat's claws dug into her sweater, pulling several threads loose. Great, another new sweater meets its end to Buyo, she thought mirthlessly, a sardonic grin crossing her lips.
"Buyo-chan," she admonished, still grinning as she lifted the cat above her head and gently jiggled him. His paws flapped about in the air, and the cat leveled a look at her that said 'What are you doing?'
