October 30, 1990 - Malfoy Manor
"Crucio," A cold heartless voice said. The voice was followed by a burst of grey light, followed by the screams of tortured individuals.
"Have mercy," One of the Death Eaters screamed as Lord Voldemort continued to attack his followers with the cruciatus curse.
"Mercy?" Voldemort asked, sneering at him. "I sent you all months ago to get rid of the Jacksons and the Longbottoms, and you come back now, reporting that you still haven't killed them?"
"Give us another chance master, we will not let you down this time," Bellatrix said.
"Crucio!" Voldemort said again, pointing his wand towards Bellatrix. "You expect another chance after you failed so miserably the first time?" He questioned. Bellatrix's screams of pain filled the room as she was hit by the curse.
"My lord, if I may," Lucius broke in. "The mission was not a total loss, sire."
"And pray tell, how that is, Lucius," Voldemort sneered. "What part of them both being alive still sounds like partial success to you?" He suddenly looked thoughtful. "Or is it the part where I haven't been able to find the Potters yet either that you find a success," He questioned.
"N-neither My lord. L-lord, we m-may not have managed to kill them yet, but w-we have closed in on the location of S-Sally Jackson," Lucius stuttered. "Give me one more day My lord. Me and my team will not let you down this time."
"Is that so, Lucius?" Voldemort said. "Fine then, I will give you some more time. You have till tomorrow."
"Thank you my Lord," Lucius said, grovelling at his master's feet. "I will bring you the Jackson boy's head."
"As for you Bellatrix," Voldemort screamed. "you will get another day as well. I expect no failure this time."
"Yes L-lord," Bellatrix said, breathing heavily. "The Longbottoms will be dealt with."
"Now get out of my sight," He said, as they all instantly apparated out of the manor, not wishing to anger their master any further.
"How can I deal with the Potter boy though?" Voldemort thought to himself. As if answering his question, a knock resounded against the wooden door leading to the room. "Come in, and I hope whoever you are, you bring me good news," Voldemort said gruffly.
A stout man with grubby skin, small watery eyes, and a pointed nose walked into the room, quivering.
"I- My name is P-Peter Pettigrew," the man said, shaking. "I bring you news, Lord."
"Ahh yes, I remember you. Always following the Potter boy and his friends around school, were you not? " Voldemort asked with amusement. "Well, what information do you have then?"
"The secret to finding the Potter's, Sire," Peter said. "I can tell you where they are hiding."
A gleam entered Voldemort's eyes. "So, where are the Potters," he asked.
"The Potters are hiding in their home at Godric's Hollow," Peter said.
Voldemort's eyes hardened with anger. He himself had gone down to Godric's Hollow multiple times to check if the Potter's had returned to their home, each time finding no sign of them. "You dare lie to me," He said dangerously. "CRUCIO," he screamed, as Peter fell to the ground writhing with pain. "I will only ask you one more time," Voldemort said. "WHERE. ARE. THE. POTTERS."
"M-My L-L-lord," Peter stammered as he tried to get up off the ground. "The Fidelius charm," he managed to get out. "They are using the fidelius charm and a number of other powerful enchantments to keep people away."
"What was that?" Voldemort asked?
"The secret to finding the Potter's, Sire," Peter said. "They have used the Fidelius charm to hide themselves from all but a few trusted individuals."
"No wonder I haven't been able to find them," Voldemort said to himself. Talking aloud, he asked, "How would you be able to help me with this?"
"They trusted me, my lord," Peter said. "They have made me their secret keeper."
Voldemort laughed. "They made a disloyal, weak, wizard like you their secret keeper?" He questioned. "This will be their downfall." Peter Pettigrew only bowed his head, staying silent.
"Excellent," Voldemort said happily. "You will be rewarded for your willingness to serve me Pettigrew."
"Thank you My Lord," Peter said, "I live to serve you." .
Lord Voldemort quickly got up and swished his cloak around him. He pointed his wand into the air and spoke a simple incantation, before flying into the air towards Godric's Hollow.

October 31st, 1990 - Atlantis, Poseidon's Palace
"TRITON," Poseidon's voice boomed throughout his palace. "SEND IN THE LAST PETITIONER." Poseidon was in the middle of his daily Atlantean senate meetings, where he along with his chosen helpers would listen to the plees of the citizens of Atlantis and do all they could to help him. These meetings were a combination of the Atlantean court, where criminals would be tried and punished, and also a place for petitioners to ask for help with their problems.
"Yes father," Triton said, bowing respectively as he blew his conch shell. "The door to the throne room opened and a few mermen covered in scratches limped inside. It was obvious by the number of injuries that they had been attacked by someone or something. Some even looked to have broken bones and more fatal injuries. It was a miracle they made it to the palace.
Poseidon immediately jumped off his throne. Pointing his trident at them, he closed his eyes and concentrated his power. A small beam of sea green light hit the mermen, instantly healing their scratches and fixing their broken bones.
The mermen got up off their knees and looked at themselves in awe as their injuries disappeared. "Thank you, Lord," One of them said, bowing.
"What happened to you guys," Poseidon questioned, his eyes growing darker with anger. The water around him started spinning faster and faster as a small hurricane formed around his body. Poseidon was a good ruler. He hated the thought of harm coming to his subjects.
"Lord Poseidon, the neighboring tribe of mermen have been attacking us for some time now," One of them said. "At first we were able to hold them off, but then they launched a surprise attack against us earlier, in which we were utterly defeated."
Poseidon's eyes twitched in anger at the thought of a rebel tribe attacking his people. "TRITON, MY SON," He bellowed. "TAKE A SQUAD OF OUR STRONGEST SOLDIERS AND BRING THAT TRIBE TO ME."
"Yes Sire," Triton said. Quickly gathering his troops, he left the room in search of the perpetrators.
"Thank you lord," The mermen said, as they too retreated from the palace.
As they left, Poseidon leaned back in his throne, a seaman's chair welded with precious underwater jewels and carvings of ancient sea creatures. and started to meditate. Suddenly his mind was assaulted with visions of his wife and son, being accosted by death eaters.
He saw them break down the front door to their home, breaking through the protective enchantments placed on it by Poseidon. He saw the leader, a man with long blond hair, give a crazy laugh as he pointed his wand at Sally. He spoke an incantation, and Sally Jackson fell to the floor, her eyes lifeless and empty.
"NO," Poseidon screamed. He immediately got up from his throne. He had to go warn them. He grabbed his trident from the stand next to his throne and disappeared in a flash of ethereal light.
Time skip/teleporter: "really you had to choose now? in the middle of my nap time?"
Me: "Sorry not sorry, now do your thing."
Time skip/Teleporter: *snaps fingers* "Ok you're at Sally's house, cya later,"
Me: "aiight thanks"
October 31st, 1990 - Jackson Residence
It was a calm, quiet evening, and silence filled the streets of the small town the Jackson's called home. Suddenly, the silence was broken by the sound of multiple cracks as witches and wizards apparated onto the quiet street in front of the Jackson Residence.
"Let's get going, The Dark Lord wants no delays," Malfoy said with a cruel smirk on his face. He walked towards the house, before being pushed back by an invisible force field. Lucius snarled, stumbling backwards. Pointing his wand towards the house, he spoke a few incantations, and multiple bursts of light shot from the tip of his wand, hitting the force field. The shield flickered for a few moments, before collapsing from the weight of all the spells.
Lucius Malfoy smiled triumphantly, before walking forward. Inside the house, Sally Jackson was seated calmly in a rocking chair with baby Percy in her lap, unaware of what was happening outside her house. Malfoy counted to 3 on his fingers, before signalling to the death eaters to proceed. "Confringo," He screamed. An instant later a fiery-orange bolt of light erupted from his wand. The door broke off its hinges the second the spell made contact, falling to the floor with a heavy thud. With an evil smirk she walked inside.
Inside the home, Sally, who had heard the noise, had quickly grabbed her wand and pointed it towards the entrance. As the first death eaters cautiously walked inside, Sally shot spell after spell at them. "Stupefy," she said, as the death eater fell to the ground stunned. "Impedimenta," She screamed, pointing her wand at another, who also collapsed on the spot.
"Expelliarmus," Malfoy said. Sally could do nothing as her wand flew out of her hand landing in the far corner of the room. "Well well," Lucius drawled. "Not so fast now, are you Sally?"
"Lucius," Sally glared. "I am not going to let you harm my son."
"Well, let's see how you stop me then," Malfoy said, pointing his wand at Sally. "Don't worry, you won't be around to see it happen. Sally glanced at Percy, sleeping fitfully in his crib. She closed her eyes, anticipating death. Malfoy smirked at her. "Avada kedavra," he screamed. Sally waited for the blast to hit her. She waited for the cold feeling of death, waiting to see Charon to ferry her across to the realm of Hades. But it never came.
Cautiously she opened her eyes, realizing she was still alive. Standing before her was her husband, Poseidon. She gasped in surprise as she saw him standing before her with his hand out to absorb the blast from the unforgivable curse.
Malfoy's gloating was replaced by a look of surprise and then fear. "H-how is it possible," he screamed. "Who are you?"
Poseidon started glowing a brilliant white and blue color. His eyes darkened with rage. He thrust out both hands. Responding to his anger, every source of water in the home suddenly exploded, forming another hurricane around Poseidon's body. He summoned his trident into his hand and pointed it at the death eaters, who stumbled backwards with fright.
"Incendio," Malfoy screamed, trying to create a fire hot enough to make the water evaporate. it had no effect. Mini storm clouds formed above their heads, pelting them with rain and extinguishing the flames. "Fiendfyre," Lucius yelled. Even that didn't work. The rain was too powerful to be stopped. With a final look of fright, Lucius and the other death eaters tried to run out of the house, to find that the force field had returned, now preventing them from escaping.
"No one harms my family," Poseidon said, His voice dangerously calm. Another thrust of his hands and the water rushed towards the death eaters. A few minutes later, he pulled the water away, showing that all the death eaters were unconscious. His eyes returned to their usual sea green color. "Sally, you are in danger here, we must leave immediately," he said. He held out his hand to her, and two first class plane tickets to New York appeared in his hands.
Sally looked uneasily at the tickets. "Is that safe for Percy?" She asked, knowing that once in the air Zeus would never let the child go.
"The child has my protection until he is of age," Poseidon informed her. "Until then, Zeus will not be able to sense an occasional trip through the skies." He waved his hand and all of Sally's luggage was instantly packed into one small bag. "It'll be easier for you to take your belongings like this," he said.
"Thank you Poseidon," Sally said, giving him a kiss on the check. "
Poseidon gave a sad smile. "I must go now," he said regretfully. "but I'll be sure to visit when you finish moving into your new home. I have found a nice apartment for you to live in."
Sally smiled and squeezed his hand. "I can't wait," she said happily.
"I'm going to teleport you into the flight, don't worry, no one will notice," He said. "All your paperwork and everything has been taken care of." With that, he took her hand and spoke under his breath in ancient greek. When he was done, he let go, and Sally dissolved in front of his eyes, reappearing on board her flight to the US.
Sally took her seat. In a few minutes the flight had taken off. Sally kept her eyes closed throughout the flight, gripping the seat until her knuckles turned white. Finally her flight landed at the airport. After collecting her luggage, she walked outside, noticing a cab with a sign saying "Sally Jackson" parked in front of the exit.
She walked to the cab and sat in the back seat with Percy in her lap. The driver seemed to know where to take them. He dropped them off at the entrance to their new apartment. Sally looked up at the building in awe. She turned around to pay the drive, only to see that he had disappeared. She smiled, realizing that the driver must have been sent by Poseidon. She lifted baby Percy into her hands and grabbed her small bag, before making her way into the apartment. She was ready to start her new life in New York with Percy.
Time skip: Awesome, You finally realized you need me again!
Me: *inserts a coin into the slot* "Potter Household please,"
Time Skip: "Well, at least you paid this time."
Me: *rolls eyes* "Just take us there,"
Time skip: "Fine but you owe me double next trip," *snaps fingers* "Welcome to the Potter Household"
October 31st, 1990 - Potter Household
"How much farther is this boy's village," Lord Voldemort thought, as he flew quietly through the air. stopping for a second, he pulled his wand out and held it in front of him where it stood floating in the sky. "Point me in the direction of Godric's Hollow," Voldemort said. The wand spun around before pointing straight ahead to the left. Voldemort stuffed his wand back into his sleeve before flying in the direction pointed by the wand.
A few minutes later, he pulled it out again and repeated this maneuver. This time the wand pointed straight down. Voldemort smirked as he started his descent. Soon, the faint lights of Godric's Hollow became visible. Landing just outside the town, Voldemort walked through the quiet streets, once again looking for the Potter home.
"Ahh, it appears that Peter Pettigrew wasn't lying after all," Voldemort said to himself as he found the Potter home. He remembered the last few times he had checked here. Even through the open windows, he could see nothing of what was inside the house. This time though was different.
He glanced through the window and was delighted to see the Potters home. Lily sat on the couch with Harry in her arms, holding a baby bottle of milk up to his mouth. James sat on a chair reading through the latest edition of the weekly wizarding newspaper. Voldemort sneered. He would enjoy the look on their face when he killed them. The look of betrayal when they realized their best friend had sold them to the enemy.
He walked up to the front door and tried to open it. It was locked. "Alohomora," Voldemort said, pointing his wand. A click was heard as the door magically unlocked. He smashed the door open with a simple curse before stepping inside.
James threw up his hand as the blast filled the room with smoke. Noticing the figure in the doorway, he paled, before yelling at Lily. "Lily go!," He said. "Protect Harry, I'll hold him off."
"You don't even have your wand," Lily said.
"Just go Lily, or he'll kill Harry too," James screamed as he pushed Lily out of the living room. "Lord Voldemort, you won't be killing my son today," James said defiantly.
Voldemort laughed as he saw James Potter trying to stop him without even a wand. "Avada Kedavra," he said. A blast of green light emitted from the tip of his wand, and James Potter fell to the floor dead. Stepping over James' dead body, he made his way up the flight of stairs to the second floor, where Lily was cradling her son.
"Hand over the boy," Voldemort commanded, "And I will spare your life."
"No, not Harry," Lily pleaded. "Please, take me instead."
"Step aside foolish girl," Voldemort screamed. "Step aside."
"Please, kill me, take me instead," Lily sobbed standing in front of the crib.
"Very well then," Voldemort said. "Avada Kedavra." Another blast of green light and Lily Potter collapsed, Her once mirthful green eyes now dull and lifeless.
In the crib, Harry Potter had realized something was wrong and started to cry. Voldemort stepped over the dead body of Lily Potter before approaching the child. He pointed his wand in Harry's face and smirked. "Avada Kedavra," He said. Again his wand burst into green light, but this time was different. Just as the curse reached the boy's forehead, it bounced back. Voldemort stared in horror as his own killing curse came back towards him.
All at once, Voldemort was hit with a wave of pain. He could feel his body deteriorating, turning into ashes. He screamed with pain and fury as he slowly disintegrated. The once great Lord Voldemort, was now reduced to a shall of his existence. His body had been destroyed, leaving only a piece of his soul intact. The Dark Lord disappeared that night, defeated by a powerful charm cast by a loving mother.
Minutes later another figure ran through the doorstep. He saw the body of James Potter, and paled before running up the stairs. He walked into the child's room and collapsed at the sight of Lily Potter lying on the floor dead. "NO," He screamed, as tears ran down his eyes. He pulled the body of his fallen love closer to him. "Lily, please wake up," he screamed, hugging the body, hoping that, by some miracle, she would still be alive.
The body stayed lifeless. Snape gave one last scream of anguish before he disapparated from the house.
Time Skip Jr. : Hii! im time skip jr! I'm here to take you to hogwarts :DD
Me: "Wow you're a lot more fun than Time Skip Senior,"
Time Skip Jr. : Why thank you!" *snaps fingers* "There you are"
Me: *looks around* "Oh umm...this isn't Hogwarts, its Durmstrang-"
Time Skip Jr. "Oops sorry" *snaps fingers again* "There we go"
Me: Thanks, hopefully you stick around!
Severus Snape reappeared in front of the entrance to Dumbledore's office. "I am sorry Severus," the headmaster said as he entered the room. Dumbledore had placed his own spells on the Potter home, allowing him to know immediately that something was wrong. However, he had been too late to save them.
"You," Snape snarled at Dumbledore. "You promised me you would protect them from him."
Dumbledore sighed sadly. "I did all I could to protect them from their enemies, however, I could not protect them from their own friends."
"What do you mean," Snape asked.
"Their secret keeper sold them out," Professor Dumbledore said, his eyes betraying his sadness. "He gave Voldemort the location of the Potters, allowing him to find them."
"That traitor," Snape spat.
"He will be in Azkaban soon enough, Severus." Dumbledore said, trying to calm him. "Until then, not all is lost."
"They are all dead, Professor," Snape screamed angrily. "What else is left to lose?"
"Not the boy," Dumbledore said softly. "The boy lives. Harry Potter lives."
"Why does that matter, the dark lord is gone," Snape argued.
"Voldemort is gone for now, but he is not dead," Dumbledore said gravely. "One day he will rise again and he will come after Harry once more."
"Take him then," Snape said. "Protect him to the best of your ability."
Dumbledore nodded. "Don't worry, I will." Snape gave a stiff nod before returning to his room in the castle. Dumbledore turned to the phoenix perched on the window sill behind him. "Fawkes," he called, as the phoenix fluttered down and landed next to him. He gently ran his fingers through the bird's magnificent plumage. He scribbled a quick note on a piece of parchment and tied it to Fawkes' legs. "I need you to deliver a message for me. Please take this to Hagrid," he said. Fawkes burst into a flash of flames, and then he was gone.
A few minutes later Fawkes reappeared, followed closely by Rubeus Hagrid, the keeper of Keys and the Groundskeeper at Hogwarts.
"I Got yer message, Professor Dumbledore, sir," Hagrid said.
"Ahh Hagrid, thank you for coming," Dumbledore said gravely. "I'm afraid I have terrible news for you."
"Whus the matter, sir?" Hagrid questioned.
"Lily and James are dead," Dumbledore said. "They were betrayed by their secret keeper and were killed by Voldemort."
Hagrid pulled out a large handkerchief and blew his nose loudly as he burst into tears. "What now professor," he said between tears.
"Hagrid, I have an important job for you." Dumbledore said, leaning forward. "The Boy is alive. Lily cast a powerful bit of magic that saved Harry's life."
"Well, shouldn't we go get him then Professor?" Hagrid questioned.
"Not we, hagrid." Dumbledore said. "I will be making arrangements for him to stay somewhere else. I have just the place in mind. Meanwhile, you must pick him up from the ruins of his home and bring him to Number 4 Privet Drive."
"Of course sir," I'll go immediately, Hagrid said. Quickly harnessing the school thestrals, he rode the biggest one to Godric's Hollow.
Time Skip Jr. : "HII, its me again,"
Me: "Oh thank god, take us to the Dursleys please"
Time Skip Jr. : "Ok!" *presses buttons on his console* "done, we're here"
Me: "Thank you so much!"
November 1st, 1990 - The Dursleys
Dumbledore apparated onto the quiet streets where the Dursleys lived. Petunia and Vernon were the only living relatives of Harry Potter, Petunia being Lily's sister by blood. He surveyed the empty streets before pulling out a small contraption shaped like a lighter. pointing it towards the street lights, he pressed a small button on the device. As he pointed at the bulbs, the lights dislodged themselves and flew toward him. They were sucked up into the deluminator, throwing the street into darkness.
He walked up the road until a small "Mrow" caught his attention. Looking down towards the noise he noticed a silver tabby cat, with square spectacle markings around its eyes.
He smirked at the cat. "I should have known that you would be here...Professor McGonagall," he said softly. Before his eyes the tabby cat transformed until the Hogwarts Transfiguration Professor stood before him.
"Good evening, Professor Dumbledore," McGonagall said.
"Good evening," Dumbledore reciprocated.
"Are the rumors true, Albus?" She questioned, her eyes glistening with unshed tears.
"I'm afraid so, Professor," He said sadly. "The good, and the bad."
"And the boy?" Mcgonagall asked.
"Hagrid is bringing him," Dumbledore answered.
"Do you think it..wise, trusting Hagrid with something as important as this?" Professor McGonagall asked with uncertainty.
Professor Dumbledore stopped walking and turned to face McGonagall. "Ahh professor," he said, frowning. "I would trust Hagrid with my life."
Suddenly the noise of a motor cut through the silence of the night, and a flying motorcycle came into view. The motorcycle landed with a soft thud next to the professors.
"Professor Dumbledore, sir, Professor McGonagall," Rubeus Hagrid said, taking off his goggles.
"Ah, Hagrid," Professor Dumbledore said. "No problems, I trust?"
"No sir, little tyke fell asleep right as we were flying over Bristol," He said. "Heh. Try not to wake him. There you go," He continues as he hands the baby to Dumbledore.
"Albus, do you really think it's safe, leaving him with these people?" McGonagall questioned. "I've watched them all day, Albus. They're the worst sort of Muggles imaginable. They really are-"
"The only family he has," Dumbledore interrupted calmly.
"Dumbledore — you can't. Like I said, I've been watching them all day. You couldn't find two people who are less like us," Professor McGonagall argued. "And they've got this son. I saw him kicking his mother all the way up the street, screaming for sweets. Harry Potter, come and live here!"
Dumbledore continued to walk forwards towards the house.
"This boy will be famous, Albus," McGonagall said. "There won't be a single witch or wizard in our world who won't know his name!"
"Exaactly, Professor," Dumbledore said. "That type of fame would turn a boy's head. being famous before he can walk or talk, and that too, for something he doesn't even remember. No, he is far better off growing up away from all that...until he is ready."
Stopping for a moment in front of the Dursley's home, Dumbledore smiled sadly at the 1 year old baby sleeping fitfully in his crib. He looked in wonder at the lightning shaped scar on the baby's forehead. The only reminder of what had happened to him that night. "Good luck, Harry Potter," He whispered.
Hagrid stifled a sob before clearing his throat. "There there Hagrid," Dumbledore comforted him. "It's not really goodbye after all." Hagrid nodded as Dumbledore slowly placed Harry on the front doorstep of the house. He left a letter, tucked into the boy's hand, before the three professors made their way out of the neighborhood, ready to return to Hogwarts.
