Level 3 Pairing: Dudley/Cho

~/~/~/~/~/~/~/~

Dudley Dursley never thought that he would end up being the boyfriend of a witch but that is exactly what he was and he could not be happier. When his cousin Harry had introduced him into Cho he wasn't sold on the idea of even going on just one date with her but here it was nine months later and he was in love with her completely and irrevocably. He knew that she felt the same way because she told him so every single day and not always with words.

When his father and mother talked down to Cho and called her names after he introduced her to them he turned his back on them. There was no way in hell that he was going to let them destroy the best thing that has ever happened to him. He could do without having his parents in his life, what he couldn't do without and wouldn't do without was having Cho in his life.

As if thinking of the girl he fell in love with had conjured her he smiled when she came up to him and kissed his cheek. "Hello, love."

Cho smiled at the boy who captured her heart. She had thought for sure that she wouldn't fall in love again after she lost Cedric like she did because she was afraid of getting hurt again but that wasn't the case at all. She could never thank Harry enough for introducing her into his cousin. "Hello, dear. What were you thinking about?"

Dudley smiled and kissed Cho deeply. "I was thanking my lucky stars that Harry set us up because I can't remember ever being as happy as I am now. You have brought so much light and love into my life that I can't ever thank you enough for it. Before I met you and got with you I was sure that I would never find a girl to love the way I love you. You make my world so much brighter just by being in it, Cho. Will you marry me, Cho, and make me the happiest man in the whole wide world?"

Cho's eyes widened in shock and surprise even as she threw herself into Dudley's arms. "Yes, yes, a thousand times yes, Dudley. I love you, Dudley."

Dudley laughed and picked Cho up and swung her around several times. Yes he really needed to thank his cousin next time he saw him because without him he never would have met the woman that would be his wife. He couldn't wait to marry her. He could only hope that she didn't want a long engagement.
