Erin gasped and jumped in her seat, "My car!" she yelled. She turned to her mom, " Did you know my car would arrive today?!" she exclaimed. Brenna nodded enthusiastically and parked her car across the street. Erin quickly got out of the car and ran to the delivery truck and greeted Anthony with a hug. Brennan followed behind Erin. "I wanted to make sure your precious Jeep was delivered to you, sweetgirl." Anthony said as he handed the delivery guy the keys to unload the car. Erin jumped up and down as she saw her black matte Jeep Wrangler being rolled out of the shipping container. Brennan's eyes darted to the massive SUV coming out of the container and looked at Anthony with her jaw dropped. "That's massive!" she said loudly and Anthony attempted to hide his laughter and turned to Erin to fix the situation. Erin quickly caught on to her mother's worry, "It's essentially the size of a compact war tank." Brennan said to her daughter. Erin playfully rolled her eyes, which Brennan did not like. "Mom, I can drive it. Perfectly! I promise! Statistically, SUVs are much safer than sedans,'' Erin defended her precious car as he pointed to her mother's Sedan for comparison. Erin took her mom's hands, to make her argument more effective, "In fact, an SUV driver or passenger is at least 50% more likely to survive a car crash without suffering serious injuries than an individual riding in a sedan. Please, just take a ride with me and you'll see how capable I am at driving my car. Please, mommy!" she said. She didn't mean to say 'mommy' but she did have a habit of saving 'daddy' to her dad when she really wanted something. Brennan raised her eyebrows at her child and sighed heavily. "You make an incredible argument, Erin. I admit that I have read those studies as well. So, yes we can take a ride sweetheart." she said she placed Erin's hair behind her ear. Erin smiled and hugged her mom rightly, "Thank you! Thank you!" she said.

Erin's jeep was now parked on the street. The delivery driver cleared his throat, "I'm supposed to directly give the keys to the owner after drop off." he said not knowing who to give the keys to. Erin confidently stepped forward with her permit in hand, "It's mine. My name is on the title." she added and the delivery guy looked at Erin's Illinois permit and nodded, "Here you go! Sick ride. Love the red interior." he said while handing the keys over. Erin beamed, "Thanks, I had it custom made." she said as she took her keys and placed them on her chest. Anthony gave Erin and Brennan a quick hug, "We'll be in touch guys. I have a flight to catch. Drive Safe, Erin." he said in Erin's direction. He looked at Brennan, "Temperance, she is a bit of a speeder, keep an eye on that." she said apologetically because he knew Erin didn't like pieces of information like that being divulged. Erin scoffed, "It was ONE time!" she defended with her arms up. Brennan gave her a warning look for the future. Anthony laughed and got in the car with the delivery truck driver. Brennan looked back at her daughter and saw her adjusting her seat already and she smiled at Erin's child like excitement. "Mom! Can we go to the diner?! Booth is probably there. I want him to see the car and we haven't eaten?" Erin asked with her window down. Brennan nodded yes and locked her car and literally climbed into Erin's car. "It's about the same height as Booth's SUV, the dismount is just the same," Brennan said as she put on her seatbelt and began to look at the inside of Erin's car. Brennan could not see any 15 year old driving a car such as this. "So, do you like it?" Erin asked proudly. Brennan nodded, "Yes, I do. The upholstery is very nice. Your father let you customize it?" she asked as Erin pulled away from the spot. Erin nodded, "Yes. He said it was my 'Sweet 16' gift. That I deserved the best. It was an early gift obviously. I don't turn 16 until October, but you know that." Erin said laughing. Brennan also chuckled. "I do have to get gas though. It's been sitting for a while." Erin said as she turned on the street with one of the gas stations in town. She turned off her car and immediately began to pump her own gas. Brennan rolled down her window, "Erin, I could have paid for that." she said. Erin shook her head, "I've always paid for my gas, Mom. I don't mind. Really, but thank you." she said smiling.

After getting gas they arrived at the diner and were correct about Booth being there. He was eating a burger and was chewing his food when Brennan and Erin walked in. He smiled and swallowed his food. "Hey Bones! Hi AirBear, how was the tour? Did you guys like it?" he asked as they both looked at the menus. Erin nodded, "it's nice, huge, but nice. I told mom I knew you would be here." she said proudly. Bones nodded, "She did. She was right. I didn't think you would be here because I didn't see your car, Booth. Is it alright?" Brennan asked her partner. Booth nodded, "Yeah, it's getting an oil change." he said smiling. Booth took a sip from his milkshake, "I know you're gonna be safe there AirBear, I got a few buddies on the inside. They're the head of security there. They're gonna keep an eye on you for me." he said while winking. Erin put her menu down and raised one of her eyebrows at Booth, "Of course they are." she said as she took one of her fries. Brennan playfully kicked Booth under the table as a thank you. She felt more at ease knowing she had eyes on the inside of the school looking after Erin. As Erin looked at the menu, Brennan mouthed a 'Thank you.' to her partner.
