He glanced around, then dropped down. Just because his father had been on good terms with the humans centuries ago, did not mean he was.

"Would you care for a game of Go?" She asked softly motioning to the game board in front of her.

"Hnnn" he answered folding his long legs beneath himself and getting comfortable

"I had hoped to see you again. To thank you for your kindness" she picked up a black stone and placed it on the board, looking up at him expectantly.

"It was not kindness, merely my duty protecting my lands and all those on it"

Her laughter was sweet, causing his eyes to snap to her face.

"You are so very serious."
