It was 9 p.m. but not yet fully dark. Kate walked back rapidly to her apartment after a girl night at Lanie's, leaving early so she could talk to him before she went to bed.

This is my take on "watershed". It takes place right after Castle finds that boarding pass to Washington. What if he just can t take it anymore? what if Kate really screwed up this time? Bad summary but give it a try please.
