Based on: tumblr/dannyphantompromptgenerator: Dani hates one of Danny's clones. (Also, I added my usual twists to it.)

Why he had to be like that? This- this was just humiliating. She hadn't got injured that much and he- gah, he acted like- like-

"At least can I go use the bathroom?" Dani asked, still a bit (a bit?!) pissed off over the constant monitoring.

A sceptical eyebrow got raised up. "You have a bathroom here?"

Dani scoffed, rolling her eyes at the question. "Yeah, dumbass, there is a bathroom. A storey lower." she described, adding to the untouched expression. "And I have to use it."

The figure who was until this moment was standing in the doorframe like a freakin' guardian, now leant against it, with crossed arms, blocking the way if she wanted to leave the room. His eyes were still marking her, not shifting to anywhere else but to her movements. Seriously, that damn gaze started to drive her nuts – not that the whole 'rescuing' wouldn't have done that already. (Luckily, most of that Dani couldn't recall, but what she remembered, was enough.)

"Yeah, sure. What do you think how much an idiot I am?" he inquired. Well, shit, she had to be that lame at lies, didn't she?

"Fine!" Dani gave in, falling back to the sort-of DIY-bed, that he a few hours ago had modified a bit to be fitting for her injured abdomen. It was healing fine, but laying down properly was still killing her – not literally, but damn, it was really unpleasant.

Dani let out a hiss, just to then catch as her 'saviour' moved along with the sound. He was really starting to annoy her by now.

Dani raised up a finger, the only thing she right now was capable of without wincing. "If you take one step closer-" she began, but a disbelieving chuckle stopped her.

"Then what? You blast me with an ecto-ray or something?" if- if that tone wouldn't mock her… she would have been very glad.

Dani frustratedly moaned but didn't finish her 'threatening'. For a moment, there was just silence, and in fine, thank to her current halfway laying position she couldn't see his face – damn that stern concern and determined eyes that he was keeping her only by a single 'look' unmoved. Now, the quietness was almost lulling, nearly making her forget about his presence. Dani's eyelids became heavy too and-

"Maybe you should sleep a bit, if your body rest-"

"What do you think I was on to do?!" Dani shouted out, lifting up to the air her hands to make the necessary emphasis, but by that the only she managed to reach by the too fast acting that she cried out sharply, along with a not so nice cursing.

"See? I told you not to move hastily." was it commented as sympathetically as a piece of stone. "Did you pay attention to me at all or you are just fuming over I had to save you? I told you not to move, like a hundred times already. You will ruin the stitches."

To that, Danni rather didn't answer. It wasn't enough, waking up in her place with observing eyes in her periphery, no- she was in pain (yes! damn, indeed she was, even if it was hard to admit) and yeah, this- this guy wasn't taking off his eyes from her since she had opened her eyes. And the worse? He was angry at her? What the-

"It's once was a working warehouse, right?" he took the question from nowhere. Dani was too stunned by the abrupt inquiring to respond to it. "Did you see any ducktape here?"

"What?" Dani gasped, barely audible. The heck he needed ducktape for-

"To glue to you to that bed, or what you call those pile of boxes. You won't cease to flounce otherwise," he explained. "Do you have any idea how hard that was to stitch you up without any proper tool here? Besides, you were constantly kicking me even unconsciously. The least you should do to-"

"I'm not going to thank you," Dani stated, already tired of her situation. "I was fine on my own."

"Oh, yeah?" even not seeing it, she could clearly identify a raised-up eyebrow behind the tone. But then he didn't add anything else, just blew out an exhausted breath. Seriously, couldn't he just-

"You know what?" he started then a minute later. "You're right. It wasn't on me at all. It was just mere coincidence to hear you scream for your life, and yeah… even if it was just my cursed reappearing humanity and that damn meddling ghost's scheming, watching over this haunted place all along, to then induce me to pitch up your so-called home easier and bring you here from those crazy folks… yeah, me the fool, that I couldn't stand leaving you to die there after all." he huffed, stepping in fine a few feet away from the door (not that she could get up and leave…).

For a second, he wasn't saying anything at all, and Dani- she couldn't tell either if she had to add something or not. She had been in control, this all- this all was just a misunderstanding. She so loved the people here, and they liked her too, and-

"You just made it up," Dani concluded, seeing through the whole. "He just made it up." she corrected herself, moving carefully to face with the figure. The face didn't reflect any emotion. Yeah, right, she remembered to that nothing-but-the-mission mask. "He plotted this all, right? Overshadowing them to attack me to make you save me, trust you and taking me then easier to him. Poor little girl falls right into the saviour's hands."

"What?"

Dani managed to make herself sit up a little more, shit, she so hated only recognising it after it already happened.

"I see he perfected the formula, creating a stable, much more tougher minotaur-like version of Danny to do the dirty work." she glanced at the unmistakable emblem on his chest.

"Excuse me-" he tried to cut off her, but Dani was quicker, continuing before he could.

"Yeah, that's what you are," she said, feeling stronger by each word. "I'm just saying, either you are perfect. Your hair, for example, it's not matching at all. And did you miss the last five visits at the barbarian, or what?" to that, the mentioned alive-like thing flickered annoyed like a disturbed fire, along with as he ran his fingers on his chin. "And those are contacts?"

"Hey!" raised up the tall figure his arms. So to say, only the black and white suit could tell he was one of his creations. "I know you're in pain, but mocking my outlook wouldn't ease on that. And I only stayed in this form you ungrateful, to freak you out less once you wake up. You were slightly conscious when I appeared and I- you know what? Never mind." he ended the speech then, and with an almost relieved sigh, the rings travelled through his shape, turning him into a human form.

"Well, that's even uglier than your other one," Dani commented.

"Oh, shut up." he resented, touched by the critic.

And indeed, it was. Damn, it was much more worse. Stupid perfected formula, Dani cursed. She didn't dare to think about how a female clone now could look like. And yeah, there was her, nearing to fifteen, living in a forgotten warehouse and- yeah, it was only a matter of time to the man to get the modified order from the person she was running from in the nigh to past three years, to destroy her, melting again – this time successfully – to goo.

"So, what are you waiting for?" Dani asked after another silent minute, impatient by the stalling. Well, she couldn't fight, then- then why she should have to waste her time against the unavoidable?

"You, to heal, you idiot." he looked at her meaningfully like the answer would have been obvious, then run his eyes on the place with a disgusted frown. "Then, as you are able to move, we leave this place behind once and for all. How could he even let you live in a place like that? I'm surprised I only saw one rat roaming around. Though that tell one thing and another its fur was mouldy. Brrr, I will be haunted from that picture for all eternity." he shook himself a little.

"That's Fusty." Dani clarified, but as quick he snapped his head towards her, that immediately shut her mouth.

"You named it?"

"Yeah, duh, and?" to the widened familiar blue eyes, she rather didn't add Fusty was actually a pretty nice company – if he wasn't on to taste her ears during the nights…

To the unexpectedly clapped hands, Dani almost jumped up. "It's decided. We go, now." he pushed away himself from the wall, taking some steps, as fast as that the only one Dani could perceive that she was already held. Much to her surprise, not as like a heavy sack as in movies during the kidnapping scenes, no. She was held bride-style, as in-

Dani all of a sudden just couldn't know what to say or how to react, she was just blinking rapidly, completely startled.

"What is it?" he took the question, surprised by her shock. "Am I touching somewhere you are still aching?" the worse, there was true concern behind the voice.

"What the- what the hell is wrong with you?" Dani breathed out. To the stopped walking and knitted eyebrows, she explained. "Shouldn't you be careless if you are taking to him, to waste me? I mean… what difference it makes if I'll be melted anyway?"

"What? Why would- wait." he gazed ahead, visible thinking over something, but then his eyes got cleared with recognition. "Him. You mean Vlad Masters under him, right? This is not a messed up undercover for him, you are- you are here, because- because you literally live here and-" he caught Dani's eyes, demanding an answer as he stared at her. "What messed up origin story you have?"

Dani spread her arms pointedly. "Dah, the same as you, you brainwashed 2.0 clone version."

To the question, his face turned into a confused grimace. "Clone? I'm not a clone."

Dani rolled her eyes at the words. Wonderful. A clone that wasn't aware he was a clone. That was just perfect. Verbatim, actually. At least, she had to admit, that ruled out the occasionally occurring existential crisis…

"Then what are you, if not a clone, genius?"
