Harry Potter

(This will be third person within the Harry Potter world)

Setting - 1 year after the Battle of Hogwarts

"Ron, get up!"

Hermione was banging on Ron Weasley's door. It was 9:00 AM. She heard a grunt from inside, a shuffling of blankets, then silence.

"RON!"

"All, right, 'mione. There's no need to get angry, I'm up now," Hermione heard from within the room. A minute later, Ron shuffled out, looking harassed and disheveled.

"Ron, Harry says he's found something."

"What is it?"

"He wanted to wait for you to show us together."

"Is it just us?"

"No, Ginny will be there..."

"Course."

"Along with Neville and Luna."

"Okay, I'm ready."

Hermione and Ron strolled down to where Harry was staying. The trio were staying in a small house in Godric's Hollow, along with Ginny. As they entered Harry's room, they noticed him in a corner, next to Luna and Ginny. Hermione and Ron sat down next to the three, just as Neville raced into the room, looking distressed.

"Sorry Harry!" he panted, "Hannah was very suspicious about the fact that I was going, and she wasn't, and that they were going to be here." He gestured at the girls.

"No problem Neville," Harry replied easily.

Neville plopped down beside Hermione.

"So Harry," said Ron eagerly, "What do have to show us?"

Harry levitated a small, bronze figurine of a cat using his wand. It was coated in a thick layer of dust. "What's so special about..." Ron began.

"Portkey," was all Harry had to say, "Found it under the bed."

They gazed at it in awe, until Hermione spoke up, "How do you know that it's a portkey?"

"I found it next to this wand." Harry revealed a worn wand. He then proceeded to lower the the portkey to the center of the circle and muttered a spell directed toward the other wand, "Priori Incantatem."

A shiver passed through the room, an image of a small, bronze statuette of a cat was projected and a whisper was breathed into the air, "Portus."

The image faded away, leaving the ordinary figurine and the people in the room all with shocked expressions. Hermione was the first to recover. "Of course," she breathed, then said louder, "Harry was right, it is a portkey."

"So...what do you say?" asked Ron, "Want to see where it goes? We can always Apparate back if we need to."

Neville nodded, "Why don't we vote, because we do this together or not at all. All in favor?"

Multiple hands shot up, including Ron's, Harry's, Neville's, Ginny's, and Luna's.

Hermione's hand, however, stayed firmly down. "We could end up anywhere, even places where spells are blocked!"

"Sorry Hermione, seems like your'e outnumbered," Harry said, grinning.

"On 3, okay?" said Ron, "1...2..."

Reality spun as Harry, Ron, Hermione, Ginny, Neville, and Luna were hurtled through space, rooted in place by the cat. The ground slammed into their legs, and they stumbled, blinking in the dim light.
