Harry Potter

Harry and the others sat up in a daze. They appeared to be in an attic. It was dimly lit, and around them sat an odd selection of items: swords, shields, and was that a brain? Hermione shrank back, because the brain sat next to her. Ron looked green. Suddenly, they heard footsteps coming up the stairs. Before any of them had a chance to hide, the door swung open and two teenagers stood, framed in the light. They had swords drawn. Well, one of them had a sword, the other, the girl, had a knife. "Identify yourself," said the girl sternly. The boy simply stood next to her. Nobody spoke for a long moment. "Well," said the boy, "Identify yourself!" Somehow, he was less intimidating than the girl. She muttered something under her breath, which sounded oddly like, "Leave the talking to me, Seaweed Brain." Hermione stood up, quivering, but said defiantly, "W-Why should we?"

In an instant, Hermione was backed up against a pillar, the girl's knife at her throat. Ron stood up. "Leave her alone!" The girl slowly lowered her knife, then stepped back. "I will ask you one more time, identify yourselves," she said in a dangerously low voice. The six looked around anxiously at each other, then Ginny spoke up.

"I'm Ginny Weasley."

"Neville Longbottom."

"Hermione Granger. Pleasure."

"I'm Ron. Ron Weasley."

"Harry Potter."

"Luna. Luna Lovegood."

The girl wasn't done though. "Why are you here?"

"Ummm... I don't really know," answered Harry.

"Then how do we know you're not spies? Come with us." She ordered them to follow her, while the boy took up the end, weapons still unsheathed. Harry dwindled behind the others, near the boy, who looked startlingly like him. The girl led them into a small office, where a man was sitting behind a desk, looking at them with million-year-old eyes. Another person was in the room, it was a girl with curly, flaming red hair. she was sitting in a chair across from the man. They turned around as the eight of them walked in. The girl in front addressed the man, "Chiron, we found them in the attic. They claim they don't know why they're here."

"Then I'm afraid the prophecy has begun." He seemed to be talking more to himself than anyone else in the room.

"What prophecy?" asked Harry.

"Now, now, before we explain, we should do introductions. Ah, we'll start at the back."

The boy at the back of the line spoke up, "Percy, Percy Jackson."

"Harry Potter."

"I'm Luna Lovegood."

"Neville Longbottom, sir."

"Ron Weasley."

"Hermione Granger. Pleasure."

"I'm Ginny. Ginny Weasley."

The girl in front seemed reluctant, but soon said, "Annabeth. Annabeth Chase."

"Rachel Elizabeth Dare."

"And I'm Chiron." The man trotted - wait, back up, trotted? - out from behind the desk and revealed, "Hooves? You're a centaur!" exclaimed Harry.

"Way to point out the obvious, Harry," muttered Hermione, which caused the wizards to stifle giggles.

Chiron continued, "And you are? Surely not demigods, but not fully mortals or else they wouldn't recognize that I'm a centaur."

"Umm... Wizards. And witches. What are demigods?" questioned Ron, speaking for the first time since introductions.

"Half-bloods. Half mortal, half god."

"Whoa. Who are your godly parents?"

"Annabeth, daughter of Athena, and Percy, son of Poseidon. And Rachel, our oracle"

Annabeth didn't react to the conversation. "Chiron, the prophecy."

"Right. Since you are from a different world, we are assuming that you are part a recent prophecy. Rachel, please repeat our prophecy. She repeated, without the green smoke,

"Nineteen members must heed the call,

The fate of a world to them must befall ,

Four different dimensions must together prevail,

Or to this era there will be no future, it shall fail.

The illusion of enemies are controlled by one hand,

to defeat this foe is to save a new land

but beware of lies, and treacherous drawl

for the ones you trust most will be your downfall."

Both Percy and Harry said, "Aw man, another prophecy!" at the same time.

Harry turned to him, "Mate, you too?"

"You have no idea."

Annabeth, unsuccessfully hiding a smile, said, "Aww, your bromance is sooo cute!"

Percy stopped talking and turned to face Annabeth, "We are not in a bromance. That's Jason."

"I'll let him know that your cheating on him."

Chiron cleared his throat. "Back to the prophecy..."

"I suggest calling a War Council," advised Annabeth.

"I'll take that suggestion. Maybe...in a few hours. Once you've introduced them to camp. I advise calling over Jason, Piper, Leo, and Nico."

"Okay, consider it done Chiron," said Annabeth leading us out of the office and onto a porch, where a blonde boy was waiting. "Will, can you get Jason, Piper, Leo, and the one and only Nico?" He nodded and raced off. A minute later, he was back with four teenagers: a muscular blonde boy, who was holding a sword; a lean girl with choppy hair and multicolored eyes; a pale, sickly looking boy whose skin was nearly translucent; and another boy who looked like a Latino elf, who was complaining about something that sounded like, "Festus Junior just wrecked the Leo-Cave!". They walked up the steps to the porch, where more introductions were delivered. Harry and his friends did their third round of saying names, and the new four introduced themselves as Jason Grace, the blonde boy, Nico Di Angelo, Supersized McShizzle Uncle Leo AKA Leo Valdez (They decided not to question it) and Piper McLean, the girl with multicolored eyes. At Piper, Ginny gave a squeal and said, "Are you related to Tristan McLean? He is sooo hot!" Harry slapped her arm gently and she stopped.

Piper seemed like she got this question a lot. "He's my dad." Ginny had an inside panic attack. Piper blushed. "Well," Annabeth said to break the silence, "Groups?"

Percy and Harry looked at each other and grinned. Ginny looked longingly at Piper, who said, "I'll go with Ginny." Percy claimed Harry, while Ron sent a look at Leo, who had a manical grin. "I will kidnap, ahem, show Ronald around camp. As long as Festus Junior doesn't completely on accident get out of the Leo-Cave." Annabeth wanted to apologize to Hermione, so they were soon in a heated discussion about architecture. Jason and Neville locked eyes and were soon debating about swords. They went off towards the strawberry fields. Nico looked awkwardly at Luna, who was the only one left. She had taken out a newspaper in all the confusion and was reading upside down. Nico cleared his throat to avoid talking. She looked up, tucked the newspaper under her arm and followed him off the porch.
