Divergent
(This will be in 3rd person within the Divergent dimension.)
Setting: 1 year after the events of Allegiant (We're gonna pretend that Tris survived)
Tris sat up in bed. It was midnight. She had been sleeping in the Hancock Building ever since the factions had been demolished. Beside her, Tobias was still sleeping. A loud knock resonated around the area, and Tris walked over to the door. There was no silhouette against the glowing moon. She cautiously opened the door, and jumped back in surprise. A figure made of pure mist was standing there. It appeared to be a woman, she appeared to be young but had eyes that held the wisdom of ages. Tris took another step forward toward the woman, and she spoke, "You must go." Her voice was raspy, and didn't fit the kind figure in front of Tris. "Where do I have to go?" asked Tris. "East," the woman muttered, "Find them." Her voice was fading. "Find more... of your kind." She began to dissipate. "No, wait!" said Tris, "Who must I find?" But she was already gone, the mist swirling in the night breeze. Tris took a step back, and ran to find Tobias.
A few moments, later, she nudged him awake. He groaned, then asked, "Tris?"
"Yeah," she responded, "We gotta go."
"Where? Why? Tris, it's midnight!"
"I can't explain now. Get up, we have to leave!"
Tobias shuffled out of bed.
1 minute later...
Tris ran out into the night, Tobias following her. Each had a gun hidden under their clothes.
They jumped into the nearest car, and Tobias asked, "Where to?"
"East." Tobias shrugged, and drove as eastward as he could. Along the way, Tris gave a full blow-by-blow account of her encounter with the mist woman.
"So now we're just blindly following her instructions?"
"Yeah, but I felt like we should. I mean, there was something...different about her."
"Of course there was something different, she's made of mist!"
"But she had a purpose, didn't she?"
"Sure, but maybe it wasn't good."
There was a silence. Then Tris replied, "We can always come back if the purpose isn't good, right?
Tobias sighed, then agreed, "I guess."
They traveled on, eyes peeled for a sign of civilization.
1 hour later
They were just coming to the end of a forest when... "Is that a building?" asked Tobias. Tris perked up. "I think so!" They stopped the car and jumped out. They were near a forest, in a town of some sort. It looked sorta like Abnegation faction, except without the modesty. There was a square, like a town too. Most of the houses were small, except for one street. it had large houses, and a sign stuck into the ground read, "Victors Village".
"What'd the victor have to win to get here?" asked Tris.
"I don't know, but I have a feeling that it's nothing good." answered Tobias. They walked down the street, and felt drawn to one house in particular, on the corner. "Well, here goes nothing," said Tobias, and knocked on the door.
