Hunger Games
(This will be in 3rd person within the Hunger Games dimension.)
Setting: 3 years after the events of Mockingjay
Katniss Everdeen sat up in bed. A sharp rapping was heard in the building, and she got up quickly. She pulled some clothes quickly and opened the door. Two people were standing there, a man and a woman. The woman looked about 19, while the man was two years older. They were wearing black, and she wondered if they from the Capitol. "Who are you?" Katniss asked.
"Tris," said the woman. She held out her hand. Katniss took it warily.
"Four," grunted the man. The woman, Tris, looked disapprovingly at him, then turned back to Katniss. "And you?"
"Katniss. Katniss Everdeen." Katniss said cautiously. "Where are you from?"
The two exchanged looks. "Chicago."
Katniss was confused. She had never heard of Chicago.
"Where is this?" asked Four.
"Panem..." said Katniss.
They exchanged looks again and shrugged. "So," began Tris, and she started to explain about a mist figure, and how she had told her to find them. Katniss took it in.
Tris finished, and shouted into the night, "What should I do next?"
Katniss shushed her. "We have curfew! You're going to get in trouble! Don't you?"
"No." replied Tris. Katniss was about to answer when mist collected and formed the shape of a woman. The woman looked `young but her eyes seemed older than her. The woman looked at them. "There... are three. Needs to be...four of you."
Tris looked at Four, then back at Katniss. "We have two, you have someone you want to take?"
Katniss nodded and walked toward Peeta's apartment. She knocked twice, and in a minute Peeta came out, looking disheveled. "What do you want, Katniss? It's 3 in the morning. And who are they?" he said.
"This is Tris and Four." Tris raised a hand. Four nodded when his name was called. Peeta squinted at the mist woman. "Long story," said Tris.
"And this is Peeta." said Katniss. Then the mist figure held out a hand. She said, in her wavering voice. "Take my hand. You must fulfill your destiny..." Four raised an eyebrow. Tris shrugged. "What's the harm?"
"There's a lot of harm it could cause," Four said sternly.
"Fine. Stay behind then." Tris nodded to Peeta and Katniss. "You coming?" Katniss exchanged a look with Peeta. Then she said, "Sure." Peeta nodded. Tris grasped the mist woman's hand, which, surprisingly, was completely solid. Katniss and Peeta followed suit. Four looked at the three of them, sighed, and came forward to touch her hand as well. The mist woman smiled, then faded. Except this time, she pulled them with her, through space, wind roaring in their mist figure vanished with one last, "Face your destiny!" They finally dropped onto soft ground, the woman's last words echoing in their ears.
