Harry walked down to the Quidditch pitch grinning. The whole team sat waiting for him on the benches, some sitting, some laying down. When Harry arrived, Dean sat straight up.

"Well?" He said as the rest came up to Harry.

"First game is Saturday." Harry grinned. The team erupted. They had been waiting so long to play a game.

"Please tell me it's against Slytherin. I want to crush them!" Jimmy Peakes said, pumping his fist into the air.

"Ravenclaw, Hufflepuff vs. Slytherin on Sunday." Harry said as he posted the schedule to the Gryffindor board.

The group walked down to the Quidditch pitch, but not for Quidditch, unfortunately for gym class. Harry and the boys walked straight to their lockers where they changed quickly. The muggle boys had mostly been leaving Harry alone when the others were with him. If he was alone Matthew would slam his shoulders, try to trip him or something else along those lines. The other muggles wouldn't touch him, but that didn't stop them from jeering or making comments. Other boys like, Marcus, avoided the other muggle boys. Marcus' best friend, Jacob, had become more comfortable with the wizards and started hanging around them. Matthew and his gang left for the field as the others finished up.

"What we playing today?" Ron muttered as he lay on the bench waiting for everyone else.

"Field Hockey?"

"Now there is field hockey? So do we have to wear those shoes with knives!" Ron exclaimed.

"They're called ice skates and that's ice hockey." Dean said shoving his robes into his locker.

"Next thing you'll tell me is that muggles play with balls on their shoes." Ron jumped up as the group exited the locker room.

"That would be street hockey and they're called rollerblades." Jacob said as they joined the rest of the class.

"They actually make those?" Ron leaned back on the bleachers.

"Make what?" Hermione came up behind the boys with Allie and Kristen.

"Ron has discovered rollerblades." Harry said turning to Hermione.

"I love rollerblading." Ron gave Hermione a look before Coach Benson called them to attention.

"This week we'll be finishing up with baseball. Grab a jersey if I call your name." Coach Benson yelled a few names. Harry and Marcus jumped off the bleachers to grab a jersey. As they walked two muggle boys slammed into their opposite shoulders, making Harry and Marcus collide. Harry saw Matthew snigger as the two boys joined him.

"I hate him." Marcus said as he passed Harry a jersey.

"Me too." Harry slipped the jersey over his shirt as they walked to join their team. Harry had decided that if Dudley had ever allowed him a friend, Marcus probably would have become his best friend.

"Want to get back at him?" Harry whispered.

"I'd love to, but how?"

"Aim for him when you're at bat." Marcus' brow furred.

"Ok, but I don't see how that'll help. I'm terrible at baseball." Marcus shrugged, but trusted Harry.

During the first inning, Harry's team had three runs before Marcus took the bat. He could see Matthew's eyes roll, just like they always did back home in P.E. Marcus gripped the bat, his anger rising up. Matthew rolled the ball in his hand before throwing it. Suddenly Marcus felt a surge of what he could only describe as electric. He could feel the bat moving, as if on its own. 'Aim for him' Marcus remembered Harry's words. He swung the bat and aimed the best he could at Matthew. Somehow the bat collided with the ball, which flew directly at Matthew hitting him between the legs. He went down, but that didn't stop Marcus from running to first base. He smiled as he looked back at Harry. He didn't know how he did it, only that without Harry he would have struck out.

Coach Benson blew the whistle loudly as she ran to Matthew. She had two of his friends help him up and walk to the hospital wing. She then ended gym early.

Saturday morning could not have come sooner. Everyone, including the muggles, were excited for the first Quidditch game of the season. Allie and Kristen came running out of the Great Hall. They were wearing maroon sweaters and had added a maroon stripe on each cheek. The large group of students, both wizards and muggles, excitedly walked towards the Quidditch Pitch in a sea of maroon and Ravenclaw blue.

"Good morning!" Kristen called cheerfully to the rest of the gang who was waiting in the outside common area.

"Morning." Neville and Hermione said cheerfully.

"Where are the others?" Allie asked.

"They're already down at the field." Seamus said through his maroon war painted face. Hermione nodded, as she spotted Luna.

"There's Luna, everyone is here." Allie and Kristen turned to welcome Luna but froze in their tracks. Luna was covered head to toe with maroon and blue, this included a very large lion head with large raven wings coming out of its head. Walking next to her was Vivian, who wore a less glamorous version of Luna's head piece.

"That's an interesting headpiece." Allie said kindly to Luna.

"Thank you, Allie. I showed Vivian it last night and she loved it so much we had to make her one. We were up well past midnight." Luna smiled as the group took off for the field. As they walked Seamus reminded the muggles of the rules of Quidditch. Approaching the field, they could hear a low roar of excited voices coming from the stands. Hermione led the group up the stairs to the group's normal spot. After a few minutes a roar erupted down the pitch as both teams flew from the locker rooms.

"Welcome to the first Quidditch Match of the season!" Boomed a young voice. A second year was the new Quidditch announcer as all the others had either graduated or died in the war. He started calling out the Gryffindor and Ravenclaw team players and positions as they flew around the Quidditch pitch. Harry and Ginny made a point to fly past the gang before Madam Hooch called the teams down. She threw the Quaffle high in the air, which was immediately caught by Ginny who flew down the pitch.

"And their off!" The announcer called out. "Ginny Weasley, snatches the Quaffle- she passes it to Dean Thomas- annnndddd- Roger Davies steals the Quaffle." Half the stadium erupted in cheers as Davies weaved in and out of the Gryffindor Chasers.

"Why isn't Harry doing anything?" Kristen yelled over the roar of cheers.

"He is, he's looking for the Snitch." Hermione yelled back.

"It's Weasley against Davies. Davies closes in on Weasley – and Weasley kicks the Quaffle to Weasley! That is Ginny Weasley, the Chaser, not Keeper!" The announcer shouted over the roar of Gryffindor. Hermione turned around as someone gently touched her shoulder. Behind her was Dudley and Victoria. Victoria had a large smile and gave a small wave.

"Excuse me, we're a little lost." Hermione smiled and turned to Seamus.

"They don't understand what's going on?" Seamus looked towards the two newcomers.

"Didn't anyone explain Quidditch to you?" He shouted over the crowd. Dudley shook his head. Seamus immediately started explained what was going on as Ginny flew past. As the game continued more and more muggles crowded towards Seamus as he enthusiastically explained the game.

"Weasley swerves to avoid a Blodger as she flies towards the Ravenclaw hoops – she aims – TEN POINTS TO GRYFFINDOR!" The Gryffindor stadium roared. Luna's Lion roared loudly.

*1 hour later*

"It's a close game with Gryffindor in the lead, 40-30." Hermione looked up to Harry, who was slowly circling the air. Suddenly he froze before diving. The Ravenclaw seeker saw the Snitch as well as he dove straight towards it, but Harry was quicker. As Harry's hand grasped the Snitch the stadium boomed with cheers.

"GRYFFINDOR WINS!"
