"Harry!"

Harry turned to see one of his best friends Hermione Granger running towards him, her hair flying behind her. Harry's mouth fell open in shock. Her usually bushy brown hair was now tangle-free and shiny, soft and smooth. Her front teeth were straight and pearly white, and her curves had come out in the past summer after their fifth year at Hogwarts. She had makeup on, something new as well, and Harry was actually getting hard from the sight of the beautiful 16-year-old Hermione, now standing in front of him. Slightly out of breath, she smiled at him.

"H-Hermione? Wow…you look…amazing!" he said, a little nervously.

She blushed and said, "Thank you, Harry. Where's Ron?"

"Er…his mum is still mad at him for not stopping Fred and George from leaving the school. But, I think they had the right idea. Who'd want to stay at a school with Umbridge?"

Hermione shuddered. "Not me. Come on, let's get our new books."

Twenty minutes later, the emerged from Flourish and Blotts with an armful of new schoolbooks. They walked along for a bit and came to the ice cream shop, where they bought two strawberry cones. As they sat licking them, Harry couldn't help staring at Hermione. As if it had a mind of its own, his finger reached up to wipe a drop of ice cream from her lip, and she giggled.

"Thanks. You…you've changed a lot since last year. I-I'm so sorry about Sirius, Harry. It's not your fault he's dead. He died trying to save you, and I think he can rest in peace knowing you're safe," she said tentatively.

Harry, whose expression had suddenly turned wooden, his eyes with a faraway look in them, looked at his shoes and muttered, "Well, I guess he'd have chosen that way over anything else. I still think about him. But I've gotten used to the fact that he's gone."

He grinned at Hermione.

"Let's go and get quills and things," she chirped, and they trotted off through the crowd.

"Hey, you guys," said a voice.

"Hey, Ron! We were wondering if you were still alive." Harry winked at him.

Ron blushed and muttered something about Luna Lovegood wanting him to sit in her compartment with her.

Once he was gone, Harry and Hermione exchanged looks and laughed. As the train ride wore on, they decided to play a game of wizard's chess. After about the third game, Crookshanks made up his mind to disrupt the game, and jumped onto the board, scattering all the pieces. Hermione yelled at the cat and locked him in his basket. She sighed and got on the floor to help pick up the pieces. Her hand lightly touched Harry's as they tried to pick up the same pawn, and they looked up into each other's eyes. Harry took her arm and helped her onto the seat.

"Can I talk to you?" he asked.

"Y-yeah."

"You've been my best friend for almost five years. You've always been there for me, and you're my most loyal friend. I think I'm falling in love with you."

'I-I'm in love with you too, Harry." She blushed.

Harry smiled and leaned his head towards hers. Their lips met softly, but then it started to get hotter. Harry's tongue slid into her mouth, and his hands went up her shirt and caressed her breasts through her bra. Hermione let out a soft moan. Suddenly, the compartment door opened. Standing in the doorway was……
