Chapter 3 (We Are Getting The Band Back Together)
For the past two weeks Subaru has been teaching Rem Japanese to the best of his abilities. Subaru knew If Rem was going to be staying with him for a while then she had to start learning how to read Japanese on her own without having to have Subaru translate for her
Rem was very enthusiastic when the idea was proposed to her. Rem wanted to be able to watch more movies with Subaru without having to ask Subaru what was happening every fifteen minutes. She also wanted to start making trips of her own to the convenience store, and do a variety of other things
Rem's experience in Japan has so far been the best experience in her life. Rem had already made her mind up, she wanted to spend the rest of her life in Japan with Subaru. Being with Subaru was better than working a repetitive and boring maid job for the rest of her life
Though she loved Rosswal, Ram, Beatrice, and Emilia. Rem needed a change in scenery
Rem knew that Ram, and Beatrice were working day and night trying to get a portal open to link their two worlds, and felt guilty knowing what she really wanted.
Rem didn't really care if she returned at this point, she was happy and that's what mattered to her the most. Though she did miss seeing Ram, and the others everyday
Rem was brushing her hair in the bathroom looking into the mirror, she was getting ready for another one of Subarus' teachings, before they went to bed. Rem was a fast learner, she has almost grasped the basics of writing in Japanese. She could now read out basic words, but she still had a long way to go.
Rem saw her reflection start to become distorted and replaced with a reflection of Ram looking at her. A bright smile grew on Rem's face when she saw her sister again
"Hi Nee-Sama," Rem said, waving at the mirror. Ram waved back with a light smile on her face. Rem noticed that Ram looked horrible. Her hair was a mess, and there were bags under her eyes. Rem knew Ram was pushing herself to the limits to help open a portal and retrieve Rem
"Hello Rem, where's Barusu?" Ram asked. Yawning soon after
"Subaru is in the living room getting ready to teach Rem more Japanese. They use a different written language here in Japan, so Subaru decided to teach me" Rem said joyfully
"That's good Rem, but I wouldn't put too much effort in. Me and Lady Beatrice have been working hard to get a portal up and running. We have made a breakthrough, and she told me she could attempt to make the portal in the next couple days. That means you can come home." Ram said cheerfully excited to see her sister in person again
"That's only if the teleportation spell is performed successfully I suppose. Anything could happen." Beatrice said out of Rems sight
Rem's smile started to fade a bit. She knew she was going to have to break the news about her new relationship with Subaru to Ram eventually. But she was scared Ram wouldnt approve
Rem took a deep breath in "Lady Beatrice, are you only able to summon the portal once. Or could you summon it again at a later date" Rem asked
"Hmmm, with enough practice I should be able to be open to the portal upon request however. As far as I know there needs to be a week to cool down before attempting again." Beatrice said. Rem's face lit up at this news. She could live with both Subaru and see her sister and Rosswal.
"I think it will be better just to close the portal all together once we get Rem out of there, I see no reason why we should bring that idiot Barusu back. He's served his purpose. I think he is better suited in his own world anyway" Ram said, frowning slightly. Rems heart felt crushed after hearing her sister say this
"NEE-SAMA! WHAT GOTTEN INTO YOU!" Rem shouted in disapproval of Ram's suggestion. Rem's smile fully vanished from her face.
Ram noticed her tone, and the look on her face and gave Rem a weird look "What's the matter Rem?" Ram asked
"We can't do that to Subaru, Rem is enjoying Subarus world vey much, so much so Rems is considering staying. Subaru is also my...my" Rem couldn't bring herself to finish her sentence from a mixture of embarrassment, and in fear of Ram's reaction.
"Your what?" Ram asked still giving Rem a weird look
"MY LOVER!" Rem shouted quickly, her face growing bright red from embarrassment. She looked at Ram and saw her just staring at her in disbelief of what she just said.
The picture of Ram started to go distorted and Rem's reflection returned to the bathroom mirror. Rem couldn't believe what her sister just suggested.
Rem just sighed as she sadly made her way to Subarus room and decided to check in for the night. Rem was lucky to have Subaru there cracking jokes to make Rem feel better. Rem decided not to tell Subaru about what happened with Ram
Meanwhile at the Rosswal Mansion
Ram stood in front of the mirror staring at her reflection. Her expression not changing, she was frozen in time from the words that just left Rem's mouth. The word lover ecod through Rams head
She couldn't believe it. Ram didnt know why Rem would set her sights to be with someone like Subaru who was the definition of the word useless. In Rams eyes
Ram's head turned to look at Beatrice. Her expression not changing
"Why are you looking at me like that I suppose" Beatrice said walking away from the mirror.
Ram blinked a couple times before responding "Lady Beatrice… Is there a way to retrieve Rem without using a portal?" Ram asked
"Well yes I can try to teleport her directly. It will have to be way more precise than just simply putting a portal down. Ultimately requires more effort and is far more risky" Beatrice said struggling to retrieve a book that was too high off the shelf. Trying to jump up and grab it
Ram walked over the shelf and retrieved the book off the shelf. Beatrice tried to grab it, but Ram held it away from her
"I want to you to teleport her directly" Ram said holding the book above her head
"Give that book here I suppose" Beatrice responded, jumping all over Ram trying to retrieve the book in her hand. Ram would move the book every time Beatrice tried to retrieve it
"I am not letting Rem degrade herself to be a second wife" Ram said as she finally held out the book to Beatrice.
Beatrice snatched the book from her hands and started to walk away, her back facing Ram.
"Why? Rem to me seems perfectly happy. Where she is, I have never seen her so joyful before I suppose" Beatrice said her back still facing Ram
"Rem deserves better than someone who can't even peel a vegetable properly. Barusu already has obvious feelings for Miss Emilia, like I said my sister deserves so much more than to be a second wife to that moron!" Ram said in a menacing tone following behind Beatrice.
"You are just a maid to Rosswal, what gives you the authority to make orders for me to follow. Besides, Emilia isnt even with them, so who says she's becoming a second wife." Beatrice said as she sat down on her chair
"It wouldn't be right to do such a thing I suppose, I would feel somewhat bad for Rem I suppose. I think you are being too overprotective I suppose. I don't think I can bring myself to do such a thing I suppo-" Beatrice was interrupted
"You heard me I suppose, don't make me have to repeat myself I suppose!" Ram said in a demanding tone mocking Beatrice. Ram started to walk towards the door
"What if we just leave them there, I can connect you two to see each other upon request. Emilia wouldn't be with them so there's the second wife stuff out of the way. Plus I found out in my research that having two wives is considered morally condemnable. In most worlds bearing the country of Japan name" Beatrice suggested
"I am her sister so I know what's best for her, besides I don't think I can sleep at night if the only person I loved for so long was harmed. Knowing Barusu, that is likely to happen. It would hurt even more knowing that I could have prevented it. Plus it's your fault in the first place why they are there. So it's your responsibility to get Rem back" Ram said looking back at Beatrice
Beatrice gave her a look of disapproval, before Ram turned back around and opened the door
"You're going to regret this!" Beatrice shouted at Ram as she exited the room. Ram just turned around, stared at Beatrice and closed the door. Not another word said
As Ram exited the forbidden library. Something inside Ram was screaming in regret. Another side of Ram was saying it was for her sister's own good. Ram started to get second thoughts. Ram felt her hand back on the doorknob to find Beatrice and reverse her decision
Ram felt tears build up in her eyes, she didn't know what to think anymore. She couldn't live without her sister, but was this going too far?. She eventually just sighed and continued her work. Her small and pathetic hatred of Subaru winning the battle
Beatrice just sat in silence for a couple minutes after Rams departure. Beatrice knew if she brought Rem back without Subaru that would bring havoc throughout the entire mansion.
Beatrice couldn't find it in her to bring Rem back permanently without Subaru, she couldn't ruin Rem's life, she knew she had to do something to make Ram realize how crazy she's acting.
Beatrice felt responsible for starting this whole mess in the first place, so she was going to fix their relationship one way or another. The gears started to turn in Beatrice's head of how she was going to approach this
An idea formed in Beatrice's mind. What if she teleported Ram directly to Japan. She could clear the act up as a mistake and leave Ram to see Subarus world for herself. Beatrice took into account how happy Rem was during their calls, and decided that Ram needed a little vacation
It was the perfect plan, she thought. Rosswals was going to be alarmingly short on maids. But he would understand.
Back to Japan
"That was a nice trip wasn't it Naoko? Kenichi said when they reached their apartment. Holding there suitcases behind them
"I guess, it was pretty nice," Naoko said as tears welled up in her eyes. Kenichi put his arm over her
"You thinking about Subaru?" He said, sympathetically . Noako nodded, tears streaming down her face. Kenichi took Naoko on vacation to Tokyo. He was trying everything he could desperately trying to cheer her up after Subaru disappeared. Naoko has never been the same since Subarus disappearance
"Let's head inside, I am going schedule another therapy meeting" Kenichi said as he walked with Naoko to the apartment door
He reached into his pocket, grabbed his keys and opened the door. Upon opening the door he noticed two pairs of shoes by the doorway
"Whose shoes are these?" Kenichi said as he stepped inside the apartment. He walked inside the empty living room and noticed Subarus door was open.
Subarus parents kept Subarus door closed at all times. Because after his disappearance they would feel nothing but sadness and depression whenever they looked inside
Kenichi's heart was racing, in emancipation just praying he would find his son inside as he peeked inside Subarus room. His wish came true and he saw Subaru asleep peacefully
Kenichi was so surprised that he didn't even notice the blue haired girl sleeping next to him. Kenichi was so happy that his son finally returned after all those months, but he knew Subaru had some serious explaining to do
Kenichi decided that he was going to give his son a surprise wake up wrestling match. Kenichi charged inside Subarus room and landed directly on Subaru.
"AHHHHHH DAD!" Subaru shouted as Kenichi put his son in a headlock. Rem awoke and saw this random man fighting with Subaru. Rem half awake freaked out. And punched Kenichi directly in the stomach, sending him and Subaru flying across the room. Because of Rems Oni's strength. They both landed near the door Kenichi slamming into the edge to the doorframe
"WHOS THAT!?" Kenichi shouted out, groaning in pain.
"HOLD ON ALL OF YOU STOP!" Subaru yelled. Kenichi put his arm over his chest trying to catch his breath from the punch he just received.
Subarus mom ran into the room hearing all the commotion, and saw both Subaru and Kenichi on the floor, and a mysterious blue haired girl standing over them.
Tears of happiness came through her eyes seeing Subaru back again. "Subaru your back" Naoko shouted
"Yes mom, I'm back" Subaru said as he stood up. Naoko hugged Subaru tightly. Tears soaking on Subarus shirt. Subarus mom broke the hug and slapped Subaru across the face.
"OW, Mom why!?" Subaru said while rubbing his cheek
"You have a lot of explaining to do young man! Do you know how much resources went into finding you!" Noako shouted at Subaru
"Hold on, I will explain everything, let's all just go to the living room," Subaru said. Kenichi got up, still holding his chest. He pointed at Rem
"Who… Is that… Girl?" Kenichi talked in between breaths trying to recover from the hit he received. Rem was confused at what was happening and she was still disoriented from just waking up
Subaru walked over to Rem. Kenichi and Naoko stared at Subaru ready for his explanation
"Mom, Dad I want to introduce my girlfriend Rem" Subaru said blushing slightly. Rem latched onto Subarus arm, burying her face in his shoulder. She was a little scared of Subarus parents. The wrestling match, and the slap to the face didn't give Rem a good first impression.
Naoko and Kenichi looked at each other and back at Subaru in disbelief of what he just said. They saw how Rem was clinging to him tightly like a teddy bear.
"Your… Girlfriend?" Naoko said softly still in shock at what Sabru just said
"I think it's about time we all head to the living room to discuss this further," Kenichi said as he walked out of Subarus room and towards the living room. Naoko followed him.
Rem looked at Subaru. She was uncertain that Subarus family would accept her. Subaru just shot her a reassuring smile
"Let's go join them, Rem" Subaru said, leading Rem to the living room couch. Subarus parents sat on a couch that was to the right of them next to the window. Rem and Subaru sat down together. Rem still cling onto him
"Now what did my loser son do to get a girl as cute and as strong as this?" Kenichi said with a stern look on his face. Rem blushed at the compliment. Subaru was about to answer but Rem answered for him
"Because Subaru is a strong, caring, and funny person to be around. Rem loves Subaru with all her heart, and will never leave him for no matter the reason. Rem has never been more happy before in her life, and Rem is eternally grateful." Rem said confidently joyfully
Kenichi couldn't believe someone had said that about his son. He could hear the sincerity in her voice. Kenichi, and Naoko could tell that Subaru had done something to make Rem very happy So they had no reason to doubt what Rem said was true. Subarus parents faces softened a bit
"So when's my grandchild due?" Kenichi said jokingly with a bright smile on his face
"DAD STOP PLEASE!" Subaru pleaded his face turning red
"That's going to have to wait at least a year," Rem said, almost mumbling, covering her face in embarrassment.
Subarus parents laughed at Rem and Subarus reaction. Before returning back to there stern face to continue the conversation
"Alright let's get the elephant out of the room, where have you been Subaru?" Kenichi said, staring at Subaru. Subaru knew this conversation was about to get wild.
"Dad, before I tell you where I was Rem needs to show you somthi-" Subaru was stopped mid sentence as he saw the TV turn into a picture of Beatrice. Beatrice had one of her hands on top of the mirror to give the mirror its required mana source
"Hello again," Beatrice said. She immediately took notice that Subaru and Rem were accompanied by two other people.
"Who are those people I suppose?" Beatrice asked. Subarus' parents stared at Beatrice not believing what they were seeing. They were confused at what she was wearing, along with her hair style choice
"Oh hi lady Beatrice. Subura was just introducing me to his parents. Is Nee-Sama with you?" Rem said as she pointed to the couch Subarus' parents were sitting on. Beatrice stared back on Subarus parents
"I never thought I would be able to lay eyes on the people that raised that moron," Beatrice said looking back at Subaru. Subaru just sat in silence not knowing what to say.
"And no Ram is not here, it's just me. I came to inform you to keep someone home all day tomorrow" Beatrice said, not revealing her grand plan to Subaru or Rem. Beatrice's knew Ram was going to go crazy when she was teleported to Subarus world and that someone needed to be their to calm her down
"Bea-ko you shouldn't drop in like that unexpectedly. You need to remember my world does not use magic, and so when they see something like this. It just causes nothing but problems." Subaru said scolding Beatrice
Beatrice just shrugged her shoulders in response.
"Why do we need to have someone home tomorrow, what's happening?" Subaru asked confused
"You will see I suppose" Beatrice said, smirking slightly. Her reflection faded, returning to the black television screen.
"This cannot be real, magic, worlds this is isn't making any sense" Kenichi said holding is head trying to grasp what was happening
"Subaru, who was that little girl, and what were you talking about when you mentioned magic and worlds?" Naoko asked, her facial expression frozen in shock still not processing what happened. Subaru sighed
"You see, three months ago I was teleported to another world. That's where I met Rem" Subaru said informatively. Kenichi, and Naoko stared at Subaru there expression not changing
"Rem is a Oni that came from a demon village. She is sadly one of the last of her kind." Subaru said. He turned to Rem and pointed at her forehead. Rem nodded, getting the hint and her horn came out. Kenichi's and Naokos mouths dropped when he saw this.
"INCREDIBLE!" Kenichi said getting off the couch, getting close to Rem inspecting her horn up close.
"Can I touch it?" Kenichi asked curiously
"Rem's horn is very sensitive and would prefer it if no one touched it," Rem said, retracting her horn. Kenichi was dragged by the arm back to the sofa by Naoko
"I understand Rem. This is all happening so fast. Anyway, does being an Oni mean having better strength or something? Because that hit you gave to me earlier was nothing no ordinary girl your size could do i'm sure of it" Kenichi said. Rem smiled. She was happy that Subarus dad was taking a lot of interest in her being an Oni.
Rem responded by standing up and picking up Subaru up off the couch and holding him high above her head
"AHHHHH REM PUT ME DOWN!" Subaru shouted in the air. A gigantic smile came across Kenichi's face as he stood up
"I think this calls for a wrestling match!" Kenichi shouted enthusiastically, raising his hands in the air. Rem dropped Subaru back on the couch before sitting down herself.
"Rem couldn't bring herself to hurt Subaru'' Rem said while hugging Subaru tightly. Kenichi put on a slightly disappointed face before sitting back down. He looked over and saw Naoko was giving him a weird look.
"So Subaru you mentioned that you went to another world could you please tell us about it" Naoko asked in a serious voice. Subaru nodded and explained everything he went through in Lugnica. Going through everything in great detail. Subaru's parents were listening intently, taking in every word he was saying.
Subaru intentionally left out his return by death not wanting to touch on it just yet. Subaru was still unsure whether he had returned by death still. He was unsure if the witch had followed him to his original world. But he decided just to leave it for another day
After he finished his long story Kenichi and Naoko were in awe at their own sons bravery. They never knew he had it in him to go out to fight a giant whale, and a bunch of crazy cultists. They were truly impressed. It didn't sound real by any means, but so far his story has added up
Kenichi got up and hugged Subaru tightly. "I am glad you are back safe son" Kenichi let go and let Naoko hug him
"Yes Subaru, welcome home, and thank you for introducing us to your lovely girlfriend" Naoko said Rem smiled at the pleasant sight and wholesome sight. Kenichi unexpectedly pulled Rem in for a hug
"Welcome Rem, I am so glad I was able to meet you. I always wanted a daughter in law" Kenichi said Rem steam came out of Rems face
"I haven't proposed to her yet!" Subaru said, his face growing red.
Rem almost fell over hearing Subaru say the word yet. Something in her knew that day would come, eventually.
"Wait Rem I remember Subaru mentioning during his story that you had a twin sister is that ture" Kenichi said
"Oh yes, Rem has an older sister named Ram, Rem loves Nee-Sama very much. I hope to introduce her to you guys some day" Rem responded. Kenichi's and Naokos face lit up
"WE ARE GOING TO HAVE TWO DAUGHTERS IN LAW" they both said in unison. Their voices were full of enthusiasm. Subaru just sighed giving up on fighting them anymore. He decided to let them have their happy moment. Subaru knew they needed it
"Rem will make sure to introduce you guys to her when Lady Beatrice calls again" Rem said excitedly.
"I look forward to it. That Bea-Beatrice or whatever her name is. Better call again soon.`` Kenichi said excitedly
"Anyway Subaru, does Rem have any clothes she can wear?" Naoko asked at looking at Rem noticing she was still dressed in her nightgown
"Ummmm well I sort of gave her some of your clothes for the time being. They seem to be fitting her just fine" Subaru responded.
"I see, I have been meaning to get rid of some of my clothes so I guess this works out perfectly" Naoko said smiling
"Anyway all this new world magic stuff has got me starving let's eat" Kenichi said
"Good idea, Subaru and Rem should get changed and meet us at the table in a half hour or so" Naoko said walking into the kitchen
"Mom you should let Rem help cook lunch with you, she makes amazing food" Subaru said
"Hmmm sure, Rem get changed and meet me in the kitchen," Naoko said. Rem nodded and made her way to Subarus room. She got changed, and went into the kitchen to assist in cooking lunch.
"Hello Rem, what do you want to make for lunch today, Subaru told me you were a good cook," Naoko said, turning to Rem. Rem noticed Naoko reaching into the pantry and grabbing a bottle of antidepressants, and throwing them in the garbage. Naoko has never felt this happy in a long time
Rem didn't understand what she just threw out and didn't bother to ask. "Oh yes Rem is often praised for the food Rem makes. Though I thank Nee-Sama for teaching Rem how to cook in the first place" Rem said as she started gathering random ingredients from the pantry
Rem would often show a food item to Naoko because she couldn't read the packaging and didn't know what it was. Naoko assisted Rem in gathering ingredients.
Naoko also taught Rem how to use the stove. Rem began to make a soup of somesorts.
"This soup I am making was very popular in the Rosswal mansion" Rem said stirring the pot smiling
"Oh yes I remember now you were a maid weren't you" Naoko asked
Rem nodded her head "Yes I would be the person in charge of cooking the daily meals. When Subaru came along he would join Nee-Sama and work alongside me. Though he wasn't really the best when it came to cooking duties." Rem said turning her head to face Naoko
"But Subaru still was able to prove to Rem that he is far from useless. He was able to make Rem think positively about herself, and she is eternally grateful." Rem said warmly. Naoko smiled and she loved the words that came out of Rem's mouth.
Naoko was glad Subaru found himself a loving and caring partner like Rem. She always thought Subaru would never find that someone. But she guessed he proved her wrong.
Meanwhile in the living room Kenichi and Subaru were talking about Subarus adventures while lunch was being prepared.
"Wow a little girl like that was able to knock you out, I expected you to put up more of a fight then that. You just let her walk up and zap you" Kenichi said chuckling
"Hey I didn't know she was going to do that, anyway I woke up and saw Ram and Rem standing at the edge of my bed, and that's how I met Bea-ko" Subaru said
"I am never going to get tired of your stories, Subaru. Anyway, do you think one days you can find a way to bring your old man to visit that little ancient kingdom? I need to see some of this stuff for myself. I also wanna take that little girl head on in a wrestling match. She seems like a worthy opponent" Kenichi said, cracking his knuckles.
"I will make sure to bring you one of these days, as you know Bea-ko and Rem sister are trying to able to make portals that link our world to theirs" Subaru said
"I might take you up on that," Kenichi said, smiling. Something then hit Subarus mind, something that he has been wondering for a while "Why are we going back even, what's the point in going back" Subaru thought to himself. To Subaru Rem seemed perfectly happy living alongside Subaru in Japan.
Why should they return to work a dead end maid and butler job. "I will talk to Rem about this tonight" Subaru thought.
"Boys food is ready!" Naoko called out, Kenichi got up with a smile on his face
"That smells good, what are we having" Kenichi asked walking to the kitchen with Subaru following
"We are having this soup I helped Rem make," Naoko said, setting the bowls of the soup down in front of Kenichi and Subaru. Rem walked out of the kitchen taking off the apron she was wearing.
"No Naoko did most of the work, she helped Rem understand how to work the stove, and also handed Rem most of the ingredients" Rem said as she sat down. Kenichi took a sip of Rems soup.
"THIS IS GOOD" Kenichi said before he started to wolf down the soup, eventually finishing the whole bowl in a matter of seconds. Kenichi got up and walked back to the kitchen to get another bowl of soup.
"Yah this is really good Rem. Subaru wasn't kidding, you are a great cook" Naoko said after taking a sip of her soup. Rem just smiled as she watched the Natsuki family fully indulge in her cooking.
After lunch was over Rem and Subaru started Japanese lessons again. Naoko, and Kenichi helped where they could, but Subaru seemed to be managing just fine.
For dinner Subarus' family took Rem to a noodle shop they would visit often. After dinner they returned home and decided to call it a night. It had been a long day, and everyone needed to get some sleep.
Kenichi, and Naoko were already impressed to see Subaru and Rem already comfortable with sharing a bed together. Before parting ways and going into their own rooms. Kenichi wanted to say a few words with Subaru
"Alright Subaru don't be too loud alright, I am really exhausted and I don't want to be kept up all night with the sound of Re-"
"Alright goodnight dad see you tomorrow" Subaru said hastily walking off not wanting to spend another minute in that extremely embarrassing and awkward conversion
Kenichi laughed at Subarus' reaction, "Goodnight Subaru," Kenichi said, as he headed to his room and closed the door. Subaru entered his room and saw Rem laying on the bed still awake like she had something on her mind
Subaru laid next to Rem. He knew this was the best time to ask Rem about her thoughts of Japan, and what she wanted to do moving forward
"So Rem, how are you liking Japan so far?" Subaru asked
"I love it, if I were to be honest with you, Rem doesn't really feel like returning to being a maid" Rem said
"I am with you on that, being a servant kind of sucked. I mean it had its perks, but Rams verbal barrage starts to really drain you" Subaru said taking a jab at Ram
"Subaru, I think I am going to talk with Nee-Sama about staying. Rem thinks it's time to move on from being a maid," Rem said. She had officially made her choice: life was too good in Japan to pass up on. Japan held so many opportunities and experiences Rem wanted to enjoy with Subaru
"Rem, I hope the conversation goes well," Subaru said, smiling. Rem smiled back. She was really happy that Subaru supported her decision. She was excited to see what awaited them down the road
Rem pulled Subaru in for a deep and passionate kiss. Subaru was definitely not expecting it. Rem snuggled closer to Subaru. She wrapped her arms around him, as she pulled in tighter. Rem eventually broke away and looked at Subaru in the eyes
"Subaru, Rem.. wants to ask you…. something" Rem asked nervously, her face growing red.
"What is it?" Subaru was a little confused at Rem's expression. Rem didnt answer for a full minute. She was unsure if she wanted to answer
"Rem wants to make our relationship… stronger?" Rem said, covering her face behind her hands. Her face grew red as a rose
Subaru didn't understand what Rem meant at first, but he quickly put two and two together when Rem climbed atop of him. Subarus face grew red, as he realized what Rem just asked him. Rem looked at Subaru awaiting his response before continuing
"Uhhh sure Rem, but are you sure you wanna do something like… that?" Subaru asked nervously. He had never progressed to this stage in his life ever before. Subaru thought he was going to have to wait years until Rem was comfortable to do something like this
"Rem is sure, Subaru. Rem is a hundred percent comfortable with doing this" Ram responded embarrassedly. Subaru nodded in acknowledgement. He was beyond nervous his heart was racing at a rapid pace
"Ok so… How do you wanna do it?" Subaru asked as he covered his face hiding his humiliation. Rem covered her face
"Don't ask questions like that Subraru, it's embarrassing! Rem has no experience!" Rem shouted out
"Neither do I! Do you wanna flip a coin to determine who strips first!?" Subaru said. Still covering his face to ease the humiliation. Rem started shaking as she grew more embarrassed
"Sure" Rem responded. Subaru reached in his pocket and pulled out a coin. Him and Rem shared an awkward staredown as he felt around trying to find a coin
"Alright, do you want heads or tails?" Subaru asked
"What are you talking about, Subaru?" Rem asked confused
"What side of the coin do you want? Heads or tails?"
"Ummmm… Heads" Rem said. Subaru nodded, and flipped the coin in the air. He caught it in his hand. He rotated his palm and held it out for him to see
"Ha tails, looks like you are going first" Subaru said smiling a bit. Rem covered her face
"Ok, but don't look at me!" Rem said. She laid one of her hands over Subarus eyes as she began undressing. Subaru couldn't believe Rem was actually undressing in front of him. He was byond nervous when it came for his turn
"Alright… I am finished" Rem said. Subaru could feel the hand over his eyes start to shake. He knew Rem was nervous. Subaru felt kind of bad she had to go first. Rem suddenly lifted her hand from his eyes
Subaru got a full view of Rem. He immediately covered his eyes again in humiliation
"Hey, warn me next time!" Subaru said
"Your turn!" Rem said. Subaru still kept his hands on his face
"You are on top of me!" Subaru responded. He reached down to his pants and unzipped his fly. Before returning his hand back to his face
"Happy?" Subaru said
"Wait, so I have to get fully undressed, but you only have to unzip your fly?" Rem protested. She covered the most exposed parts of her body with her arms. Leaving her nothing to cover her face
"This was your idea," Subaru said. Rem sighed
"Fine.." Rem responded defeatedly. She lowered herself to get near Subarus crotch. Her heart was racing rapidly as she shook in anticipation and nervousness
Subaru still kept his hands over his face "Any last words Rem?" Subaru said
"N….No" Rem said
"Are you ready then?" Subaru asked
"Yes" Rem responded
"I'm so glad Subarus is back, I feel like all my problems have just been lifted. I haven't felt this happy in a long time" Naoko said warmly. Trying her best not to think back on the suffering she went through when Subaru was gone
When Subaru disappeared, Naoko entered a depression; she felt it harder to continue every day that Subaru was gone. She was about to give up all hope, but Subaru returned in the nick of time.
"Yah I am glad too, I am also happy about the future family member he brought with him" Kenichi said smiling
"Do you really think there relationship will go to that level" Naoko said
"Those two love each other more than anything in the world, or should I say worlds?" Kenichi said, laughing a bit at his own joke. Naoko cringed a little
"Anyways, I can't wait to meet her sister. Subaru told us there twins so that would be an adorable sight to see" Naoko said
"Same here, I can't wait to meet Rone or whatever her name is. Let's just hope that little girl calls again."
"Her name is Ram, not Rone!" Naoko said laughing a bit at Kenichi's answer
" Let me tell you one thing. When I see that little girl in person, she better be prepared" Kenichi said determined. Kenichi couldn't believe Subaru was beaten and thrown around by a little girl. Kenichi was destined to prove Subaru wrong, that Beatrice can be beaten
"What Bea-Beatrice, you wanna fight Beatrice!?" Naoko asked curiously
"You already know it. I know a good challenger when I see one," Kenichi responded
"Subaru! Please be gentle!" Rem shouted out in the other room
Naoko and Kenichi heard Rem's muffled moans start to get increasingly louder from Subarus room. Kenichi only sighed and face palmed
"I told him to be quiet, well it looks like we aren't getting any sleep tonight" Kenichi said laughing a bit. Kenichi turned on the TV in there room trying to muffle Rem
After forty minutes Rem and Subaru were still going. Kenichi and Naoko were starting to get tired of hearing Rem moaning, it was beginning to get annoying
"It's been like forty minutes. Those two have so much energy it's astounding" Naoko said, turning up the volume to the show they were watching trying to muffle Rem further but to no avail. The phone next to there bed suddenly started to ring
"Who calls at this time? Can you please turn down the TV, so I can take this call" Kenichi said as he picked up the phone. Naoko grabbed the remote and turned down the volume. Unfortunately the volume in Subarus room had yet to go down
"Hello, who is this?" Kenichi asked. He hoped the caller couldn't hear Rems moans in the other room
"Sir, can you please keep it down? We have gotten multiple noise complaints from your apartment" The secretary asked in a formal tone. Kenichi face palmed and shook his head
"Oh yeah, sorry my son has his girlfriend over, and you can guess what there doing" Kenichi siad
"I understand sir, please tell your son to keep it down from now on" The secretary asked politely
"He will, I promise," Kenichi said before he hung up the phone and set it down. He looked over to Noako
"We have been getting multiple noise complaints apparently" Kenichi said
"You should probably go in there and tell them to keep it down" Naoko responded
"I am not going in there, are you crazy?" Kenichi responded
"Impregnate me Subaru!" Rem cried out. Before letting out one last ear piercing moan before finally going silent
The next morning Subaru awoke with Rem still laying on top of him. She passed out immediately from exhaustion last night. The second she dropped her head on Subarus chest, she was out cold. Subaru could hear Rem's slow breathing as she slept peacefully.
Subaru felt her bare smooth skin against him, as her head laid on his chest. Subaru lifted his hand and started stroking her hair as she slept. He couldn't believe he actually did something like that with Rem
Subaru looked over to the clock on the nightstand. He saw the time read 7:26 Am. He laid his head back wondering how he was going to get Rem off of him without waking her. He eventually just gave up thinking, and went back to sleep.
Subaru awoke again this time Rem was nowhere to be seen. He looked over to the clock again and it read 8:35 Am. Subaru got up, put his track suit on and walked out of his room.
He walked out of his room and into the living room where he found his parents sitting down and watching TV. His parents had bags under their eyes, they turned to look at Subaru giving him a strange look.
"Didn't I tell you to be quiet," Kenichi said, yawning. Subaru backed up, and covered his face in humiliation.
"Sorry," was the only word that left Subarus mouth. As he stood there completely embarrassed
"Ahhhhh its fine, no harm done anyway you better get yourself ready because I want have breakfast soon" Kenichi said smiling
"Alright but where's Rem at?" Subaru asked
"She is in the bathroom getting cleaned up," Naoko said, getting up and walking to the kitchen to get herself another cup of coffee.
Subaru nodded before returning back to his room. He sat on his bed waiting for Rem to come out of the bathroom so he could get cleaned up himself. Five minutes later Subaru noticed his bedroom door open and saw Rem running towards him.
Subaru had no time to react. Rem pounced on him like a cougar, and gave in a passionate kiss. Rem broke away
"Hi Subaru, me and Naoko are going to begin making breakfast. So get cleaned up and be at the dinner table" Rem said happily. "Rem looks to be in a really good mood today" Subaru thought as he nodded in agreement.
Rem got up, and exited Subarus room and made her way to the kitchen. Subaru got inside the bathroom and took a shower. When he finished he put his tracksuit back on. That's when he heard a cup drop on the floor in the kitchen.
Subaru ran out and noticed Subrus parents and Rem were staring in astonishment at the living room couch. Subaru turned looked at the couch and was also taken aback
There layed Ram in her maid uniform fast asleep
