GATE: THE UNSC Fought There

What would happen if not one gate was opened in Ginza, Japan in the 21st Century, but a second one takes place in the late 26th Century in an Alternate timeline.. Though Planet Reach was finally re-terraformed, a new enemy would erupt at the UNSC. How would the 21st Century people react to this Alternate Humanity?

It's been almost 40 years since the Human-Covenant War ended, and 30 years after the Banished, the Ur-Didact, and the destruction of Cortana and her AI rebellion. John was turning 80 years old this year, but age isn't going to stop him from being a soldier. Besides the Human Life Expectancy is indeed at least over 150 years old and increasing, thanks to the once Covenant Separatist now it's called the Neo-Covenant Republic.

The Neo-Covenant Republic is still indeed a Theocratic nation worshipping the Precursors and their technology. Lead by the Arbiter named Thel Vadam. Thel Vadam was indeed 106 years old, but the Sangheili Life Expectancy is over 200 years old. Thel Vadam announced that he will be retiring next year, and spend the rest of his life living on the human planet called Reach.

In other news, the UNSC has recently announced about Humanity's history, and telling the world how Humanity used to be a space faring civilization 100,000 years ago. They also learned about past leaders like the Lord of Admirals, Though they really only have a small amount from their Homeland, they surely can learn more by investigating some ancient Forerunner planets, and finding more Prehistoric human artifacts.

A young UNSC Marine who is in Civilian outfit named Alex is a caucasian man who is buying some food at the Food Market in the Shopping District. As he was picking out some food to cook for tonight, he noticed that some automobile named Fossa with different designs and colors stopped in the middle of the street. He wondered why people are stopping their ground vehicles, then he noticed that a giant Roman Structure had appeared out of thin air. It landed in the middle streest of the shopping districts of New Alexandria. People went in awe and wondered how a roman building structure like this managed to just appear out of nowhere. Clearly this is out of logic. As it fully appeared, they can see people, but wait, they can also see some other creatures that came from a fantasy novel like pigmen, Orcs, and others.

"This Land is now claimed by the Saderean Empire" the General of this Saderan Empire shouted as he blew a horn to commence attack.

A volley of Arrows had been fired into the air as Citizens began to run in panic. Alex saw the whole thing. He exited the Food Market and used his Tacpad to call reinforcements. He rushed over to the police to instruct the citizens to safety.

Clearly this was the Battle of Reach all over again, but only this time, it's against a primitive civilization. Judging by their weaponry, clearly they are a roman level styled weapons. Horses began to charge out of the structure and started killing everyone they see. Reach Police Officers began shooting at the new enemies.

UNSC Cairo Station

Sol, Earth

Lord Terrence hood is a 100 year old man, but still in shape to fight and mentally strong. He was talking with his personal ai named George, but soon to be interrupted by one of the officials.

"Lord Terrance Hood"

"What is it soldier?"

"We got an enemy attack on Planet Reach"

"Oh no is it Covenant Loyalist?"

"No sir, it appears a roman structure gate appeared out of thin air and started attacking the citizens of Reach. Apparently these people are using Roman leveled weapons. Extremely primitive"

"Are you sure that's correct? Sometime it could be false information" he asked

"It's confirmed, Master Chief, and plenty others had confirmed that we are under attack by a new enemy."

"Thank you soldier"

PLANET REACH

After being informed, UNSC Personnel arrived at the streets of New Alexandria. UNSC Marines, Soldiers, Airforce and one Spartan, John-117 have entered the battlefield. John was equipped with the usual Assault Rifle, and their newly energy weapons. Plasma pistol. Unlike the Covenant, this plasma pistol acts like a Magnum Pistol.

"These enemy looks easy to defeat, just keep shooting, Warthogs are coming on its way" John said

John, and other UNSC military personnel began shooting at these new primitive enemies. They were easily dying off, due to their technological level. Pigmen, Orcs, and Ogers would begin pillaging some stores, shops, restaurants and other buildings they can get their hands on. Unfortunately, they were easily killed off. ODST officers were being deployed to the ground. These primitive enemies looked up into the sky they see these flying demons that were being deployed by these other demons. They were wearing dark armor. Surely these primitives viewed these ODST as Demons or Imps just like the brutes said. ODST were carrying M7S surpressors, some got into a one on one combat with the soldiers.

John got himself surrounded by these Roman Solider like. He was surrounded but he was willing to take on all of them. At first he began shooting then he jump high, then made a flip and began shooting again only this time taking on all of them. They all fell off their horses, leaving them dead lifeless.

The arrival of warthogs equipped with a heavy machine truly scared off the enemy when they fired their guns. Killing off the remaining soldiers who got into a formation similar to what the Romans did. As they did, the heavy machine gun just pierced through the wooden shields. Their bodies laid lifeless on the hard concrete floor.

After 20 minutes of fighting, it was over. The remaining survivors were taken into UNSC custody for interrogation and questioning. Just what they got themselves into. These Roman like soldiers just suddenly attacked New Alexandria out of nowhere. No one couldn't explain what just happened.

Unknown Location

Interrogation Room

This Saderan General named Lucious awakens from a dark room with a bright light above him. On the other side of the room, Lucious can see two dark shadows speaking in some type of demon voice as he describes it.

"I'm glad your up" the Shadow said

"Where am i?" he asked

"That's not important, we need to know where are you from? What is your rank?"

"Why should I tell you. A barbarian like you isn't worth asking" he said

Then he was given pain after that. The pain he describes is like millions of creatures inside his body are biting out of his soul. Clearly these barbarians have some type of mystical magic that can torture people. Clearly these were demonic barbarians.

"Are you going to talk?"

"Fine! I'll tell you anything, please stop" he said

"Good"

"I am General Lucious. I am a General of the Saderan Empire"

"I need to know why you invaded without even negotiating with us?"

"Well i just don't want another part of our land being invaded" he said

"What do you mean?"

"Well A month ago, some men in green invaded one of our land and now occupies one of our sacred hills called Alnus Hill."

"Who are these Men in Green?"

Lucious goes on explaining about their weaponry, their base, vehicles, and how they looked kinda similar to them. This surprised the interrogator. If they say they kinda dressed like us, clearly there is some activity going on the other side of this Gate.

The events on Reach have spread like wildfire all over UNSC space. The Arbiter said that he will support the humans and will be sending a small unit of Troops to the otherside of the gate. Lord Hood would arrive at Reach a few days after the attack. He first ordered them to find their star system. If there anywhere in the Milky Way Galaxy. Scientists and AI have detected Dark Energy within this GATE. Although they could detect dark energy, Scientists couldn't explain why it was there and its purpose.

Fews Days After

Lord Hood orders an immediate expedition to the other side of the Gate. Warthogs, Battle Tanks, and Transportation of Aircraft were lined up in a lime facing the GATE.

Huuuu, why did they send me" An Unggoy named Flipyap said

"Shh the speech is about to begin" his Comrade said

"Everyone, I want all of you to do your hardest. Show this new enemy what we are made of. Show them our power"

"Hoorah" they all said in a unsion

"Show them that we are a galactic nation that shouldn't be messing with"

"Now we have sent some scouts over to the other side of the Gate, and found out it's a primitive lifestyle, but not signs of any of our new enemies. We also managed to find the location of this world. It seems to be outside of UNSC territory. At least 50 Light Years away from Reach. So we have sent a fleet of ships over to that exact location. So I wish you all good luck, cause we really don't know what's really behind the otherside. Lord Hood out"

Lord Hood got off the stage. In the past few days, Lord Hood ordered an immediate isolation of the Gate by building a dome over it. Now the doors opened up to the other side of the gate. The first to enter the Gate were warthogs who were carrying UNSC Marines. Next were another wave of Warthogs carrying UNSC Soldiers. After that It was battle tanks carrying the remaining Marines and Soldiers. The last to enter was some small Covenant forces Master Chief Petty Officer John-117 was sitting in a Warthog in the passenger seat. He hasn't said one word throughout the whole ride to this other world.

The dark caves of the Gate didn't last until a tiny spark of light was shown. As the light grew bigger, they could see there were indeed in another world. Filled with green grass, and high vegetation. No signs of pollution, light pollution, and others.

"We should begin creating a base here. According to some of the interrogators, this hall is called Dalnus hill." Lord Hood said

"Sir, when I was radioing the others, it appears that our communication are being intercepted"

Hood was thinking about it. Could these Primitives have communication technology at this stage?

"Do you know what they are talking about?"

"No sir, but the language is from Earth. It appears they are speaking Japanese. ACcording to some words, it sounded like these are 21st Century humans, plus the interception is very similar to 21st Century technology."

"Let me listen"

The communication radio began intercepting again.

"This is…..Thi….Recon...tea….stand….fo…...order"

ALNUS HILL

JSDF BASE

"Lt. Itami, according to Princess Pina, they discovered another Gate opened recently" Shion Kuribayashi said to her superior.

"Another gate?" Itami asked surprisingly

"Yes, according to Pina, they attacked the other side of the gate"

"When will they ever learn? Itami said as he shook his head in disapproval.

"One of the messengers told us that they were carrying magical staffs that are similar to ours, they also had green outfits with them. Also according to eyewitnesses, they also saw a man in full knight armor. His face was shining like gold,his armor was in bulky, iron green. He also was carrying a staff as well.

"Hmmm" Itami said

"They also have flying machines that can fire out the same way we do"

That made Itami stand "now that's clearly a huge concern. If this new Gate leads to an advanced civilization, then clearly that's troubling. Let's hope they don't find Alnus Hill.

"We should send a Reconnaissance team, do you know where they are?"

"They said they're located in Dalnus hill. At least 1000 meters ahead"

"Well I might as well Informed General Hazama about this. Itami said as he got up and exited the comms room.

Itami entered Hazama's office. He was writing on some papers. Some were notes, and some were bills that needed to be paid off.

"General Hazama"

"Yes Itami?"

"Princess Pina informed us another Gate has opened up in a place called Dalnus Hill"

"Another Gate? Do you know who they were up against?"

Itami explained to him that they might have rifles as well. They almost dressed up as them, and also explained that there was one man who was able to take on a whole fleet of infantry. As well they had flying machines with machine guns in it as well. Clearly this was another Gate opened up, possibly in another part of Earth.

"I see, I will inform the Government about this, I want your Third Recon Team to investigate this place. Bring along your other Falmart Friends as well"

"Huh! Me….alright!" Itami groaned as his head was down as he walked out of office

Well I hope you like this, I feel like I didn't put any effort on this chapter, but maybe next chapter I will put more effort. Into the next Chapter. The next chapter will be about the Third Recon team meeting with the UNSC.
