I was right now in the air. Multiple thoughts flowing through me, but the main thought was Gohan. He was always happy to tend to me, which did inspire a sense of happiness in me. There was something about feeling good when others were happy for you.

If it had been my old brothers, I would've found them annoying, not the same way Gohan found me. It got obvious that even if the Original Goten had still inhabited this body, Gohan would've treated that boy with the same kindness he did to me.

The Son Family was soothing.

But back to the main point, I was just high in the air in the Tropical Islands. Trying to find any end to these Islands, it was also worth noting that these were the same Islands Cell destroyed. How were there still so many?

It must've been some Guardian of Earth magic that got used here. Maybe Dende did something around here, or there were still many Islands, and Cell just destroyed like a good 1 to 30%?

Gohan right now was also exploring this place. It wasn't as if he was here when Cell ravaged this part of the world. It was just as much as his first time as well as mine.

I eventually decided to fly down, Gohan's Ki Signature getting closer and closer as I used his Ki Signature to get a glimpse of what he was doing. I land near him. Let's finish the Perfect Cell Arc, shall we?

Fortunately, I didn't have to say anything as Gohan read my mind. I hope he didn't do it, but in a sense, he does and gets right back to Story Telling.

"So after Vegeta and Sknurt emerge from the Time Chamber. Dad asks Trunks about his training, and Vegeta stops him right then and there. It was supposed to be top secret in his eyes back then. Now it's Laughable."

Yeah, looking at the past does tend to sound funny; when you realize how things could've gotten handled better. What got done is done.

"Vegeta then boasts that he could defeat Cell, Piccolo claimed that Semi-Perfect Cell was too powerful and that he shouldn't underestimate him. Tien adds his two cents to tell how Cell had transformed after he absorbed 17. Vegeta again believes he can defeat Cell, and even Dad adds to the fray that Trunks and Vegeta should fight together. In the end, Vegeta ignores all of this."

"Bulma shows up on the Lookout and then gives us Battle Armors that she managed to make. Of course, we wore the Armors. Well, except. For Piccolo and Tien, they weren't Saiyans and thus didn't want to wear the Armor. They were also incredibly bitter towards a certain Saiyan, which contributed to not wearing the Armor. The Armor was one of the best things I've ever worn. It was as if I hadn't worn anything at all!"

I would imagine so. Vegeta wore that 24/7. I guess in Dragon Ball, wearing the same thing over and over wasn't bad at all.

"Vegeta wanted to defeat Cell so bad that he didn't even use Dad's Instant Transmission. He just went in for the fight with his power. Sknurt followed Vegeta closely behind."

"Cell was all over the Tropical Islands, which was where Android 16 and 18 hid. And this was where I started my training with Dad inside the Hyperbolic Time Chamber. It was shocking at first. The Time Chamber is just a vast emptiness with everchanging conditions for training."

"After that, I don't see much of the fight between Vegeta and Cell. In the end, Cell does manage to reach his Perfect Form."

"Damn."

We momentarily take a quick break, mainly so that Gohan can have a breather from already talking that much.

"When I first entered the Hyperbolic Time Chamber, it was surprising to see the vastness of it. There was nothing but white that stretched infinitely. The Gravity was 10x that of Earth. Dad warns me that he will be training me to reach Super Saiyan and reassures me that he will be proud of me no matter what I do. In the end, he warns me that he is a stricter teacher than Piccolo, and was I up to the task? I said yes, and that was when my training began."

I nod to him.

"Dad was helping me to ascend to Super Saiyan. For a brief moment, I managed to succeed, only to collapse in exhaustion. We trained hard; I had a dream that I was a Super Saiyan. I had told Dad of the dream. He was proud of me. He then set out some exercises for me to do. The form was right there, and all I had to do was break through my limitations. We rested and then trained all over again. At one point during my training, I wanted Dad to instruct me even harder. It pushes him into his Super Saiyan form, as the transformation requires a rage trigger. I thought about the inability to help my friends, which was more than enough to allow me to transform. He sent a Kamehameha Wave at me, which I was able to deflect. However, the form itself held too much rage, as I couldn't bear it. Soon after, I was back to normal."

All I could think about was that could I go Super Saiyan? Right now? All I had to do was feel the back tingly feeling. The Original Goten also happened to Go Super Saiyan one day when he fought his mom. If it was that easy, it should get easily applied to me. We're both the same, just different minds and souls. Unquestionably, that doesn't play a factor in turning Super Saiyan.

"From here on out, I had managed to get a grip on the Super Saiyan Form. Dad and I fought each other, focused on mastering the form. Dad asked me to make steak at one point, which I had just fried, and set Dad's hair on fire. It was thankfully in one piece. After he was quick enough to water it."

I do remember that moment, but I had expected his hair to remain undamaged. Well, he couldn't have been smashed through rock formations or been engulfed with Ki so many times and not have lost his hair. Maybe it was for comical purposes. Or perhaps, he had not focused his Ki on protecting his body entirely. Then again, he was around his son and was looking for food, which was probably enough for him to lose his guard during that moment.

During this time, all I could think about was Cell demolishing Vegeta and Trunks.

"Another point during our training was when Dad asked me to catch him. We sparred, and I managed to capture him. We ended up destroying the sleeping quarters, and we chose to clean it before Mister Popo could get mad at us."

At this point, these were all scenes I could remember. All I could think about was that were these the scenes that were the most pivotal point of training, and everything else was just brawls from sun-up to sun-down? I couldn't imagine surviving in the Hyperbolic Time Chamber.

"Dad was able to find a new form after watching me get tired of training in Super Saiyan. He was able to transform. Dad was able to ascend beyond Super Saiyan to Super Saiyan Second Grade and Super Saiyan Third Grade. At that point, I thought he could defeat Cell, but he told me that there was a weakness to this form."

"I was so sure of victory, but he told me no. You see, the Super Saiyan Second Grade and Third Grade are just bulked up forms of the Super Saiyan in Strength but not in speed. Dad explained to me that. And that he needs speed just as much as strength to defeat Cell. Not just power alone. Dad told me that turning Super Saiyan took up a significant amount of energy. We needed every last bit of energy to fight Cell, so he told me to stay in the Super Saiyan form as if it was natural. He told me to stay in that form the whole day."

"After that, it was training again. I fought Dad with all my might. But it always looked as if he wasn't trying. I remember it became a heated area; I got hurt in the end and changed to normal. Dad told me not to give up as it was a team effort to defeat Cell. We went and got something to eat."

A team effort with Goku? Unbelievable. The man would want to make sure he got a good fight in. Before calling the end of a match, but that was Goku for you.

"There was also a point where I had a nightmare that Cell kills Piccolo and Chi-Chi in the Time Chamber, but Dad woke me up from it as I then realized it was just that a dream. He promised me that we were going to get Cell, and I knew we would."

"We finally emerge from the Time Chamber, our clothing tattered. Everyone was gathered on the Lookout waiting for us to return. They got a surprise when they saw Dad and me in our Super Saiyan state as if it was natural. We demanded food as we didn't eat for some time and stored food was getting old, not to mention neither Dad and I knew how to cook in the Time Chamber."

Hearing it from Gohan willingly from the show made the whole experience in the Time Chamber depressing. That was torture. If it had been Goku, he would've just laughed it off.

"I guess Dad didn't know how to cook well." He chuckled.

Yeah, Goku learning how to cook was an impossibility. The man just enjoyed fighting too much, to bother time to learn the small and simple things. I guess he did know how to work with basic survival tactics. He did survive in the wild when he was a boy. But I doubt there was any fire to work with, despite the changing environment in the Hyperbolic Time Chamber.

Man, if Gohan didn't know how to cook, what would we do without Chi-Chi.

"It had been a while since we had a well-cooked meal. It was a well-deserved meal. We spent a whole year training after all."

Yeah, it was.

"Sknurt had brought us up to date about what happened while we were gone. The Monster Cell had become perfect. Despite Sknurt and Vegeta's training, it wasn't enough to stop Cell from becoming Perfect and defeating Perfect Cell."

"Goku changed into his Gi, as he wanted to fight as an Earthling. I wanted to be like my Uncle Piccolo and chose to wear clothing just like his. We saw him remember? The Big Green Uncle."

"Yeah, I do."

Piccolo was tall.

"Vegeta wondered whether Goku could defeat Cell, and I pondered the same thing. Dad wants to know first how strong Cell is."

"Dad teleports and enters a stand-off with Cell. Cell merely says the fate of the universe will get decided here."

"Goku says he will be the first to fight Cell and wants Cell to leave the others out of this."

"Goku is back on the Lookout, and Sknurt asks Goku if he can defeat Cell. Dad reveals an unsettling truth that he can't beat Cell."

Gohan said the last bit, gradual and calculative. It was as if he just remembered how scary the experience was. Your strongest fighter can't win. Commonly in a fantasy book, that doesn't happen. Your strongest fighter should always win, at least when they are the heroes. But now that I am in Dragon Ball. I don't even want to think about the future now.

"Dad then drops the bombshell, that he doesn't want to train anymore in the Hyperbolic Time Chamber. Goku then destroys Vegeta's Pride by saying that he was. That much stronger than his rival. Because Vegeta did challenge him."

"Dad then went to Korin's Place, the place right under the Lookout and the white cat that is Korin. He took me along and told Korin that. He wants to know how powerful Cell is. Korin reveals the imminent truth that Cell is holding back. Dad then wants his power to get evaluated. He wanted to know how powerful he was next to Cell. Powering up and almost destroying Korin's Place. In a blind estimate, Korin revealed that Goku still doesn't hold a candle to Cell. We speed off to start our training."

Weren't they relaxing and not training? Or was the rest period just as important? After all, you don't gain muscle when your lifting weights. You earn it during the rest period soon after. I guess that; sort of; counted for training.

"We returned to Kame House to mom and the gang. We were pretty much showing our new strength. Mom overrated my yellow hair. She assumed that I had dyed it and became one of those punk kids. She cried for hours. I tell you Goten, hours!" Gohan laughed.

Chi-Chi was dramatic, but it was what made her fun to be around. She was just unpredictable.

"Afterward, we spent time with Krillin as he talks about the incident of how he destroyed the controller for Android 18. Now looking back at it, it was because he was in love. I don't know how it happened, but it did." Gohan reminisced.

I took this as my cue to ask a question. Well, I had to make it look as if I was learning, right?

"He fell in love with an Android?" I do a mocking tone with shock.

"Mhm."

"Krillin also pretty much gives up and tells us that we will always be more substantial than he is. It was a truth that we could not deny. We play in the lake. Dad and I were sleeping as Krillin, throws a rock at Goku to test our powers. He thought Dad would see it coming. He didn't at all. We were then stuffing ourselves with food, enjoying the peace we had very little time off."

Now, this was the part where Gohan had transitioned the story into the 9-Day wait for Cell. He was even wearing the same clothing he had during that time, making the story-telling all the more real.

"One day, I was flying overhead when I heard someone cry for help. This special someone was about to fall into the raging rivers below. I had managed to rescue this someone as I set upon the land. It was a girl, and she got mad at me for protecting her? I don't understand. She storms off, and I find a village called Chazke Village. I had tried three places before, and they were all empty. Deserted from the fear of Cell."

I wanted to facepalm, but in the end, I chose not to. I wasn't supposed to know about these things since I was a baby, but Gohan doesn't realize what he did. When he's older and matured and thinks back to his memories, maybe he will recognize what he did. I was confident he must've done it with Videl when he was in his Highschool age. So by then, he should know that he touched a girl's breast.

There was also the slight possibility that he will, forget by then. Lime was never shown after that filler ever again.

"I entered a shop within that village to find two men asking for free food. They were going to take it to a shelter to get protected from Cell. Not knowing of their futile efforts."

"Now, the girl that got mad at me for saving her then shows up with a lie that Perfect Cell is coming. It scares the two men off. Lime then reveals she was tricking the men. Mr. Lao. Who was in charge of the shop? The one getting asked by the men for free food. He is also Lime's grandfather."

I nod at his words.

"Mr. Lao then tells me that Lime's parents got absorbed by Imperfect Cell. It was heartbreaking but at the time. None of us were confident we could defeat Cell. No matter how evil the genetic monster was. I chose to help them chop wood. I threw three logs into the air, and I was about to slice and dice; them until Lime told me I had to use an Axe. It distracts me as the Logs fall upon my head, dazing me. I recovered and proceeded to chop the Logs with an Axe with ease, much to the joy of my two new friends."

Gohan takes a deep breath and then continues with his story.

"I was in the forest with Lime hanging out. We had been conversing and eating apples when Lime, tells me that I was too gentle to fight. She was not wrong at all. Lime also tells me that her grandfather Mr. Lao was a Martial Arts Master. At the shelter, Lime lies again that Perfect Cell was coming. Mr. Bobonne. Who is the mayor of a city that is close to Chazke Village? He locks himself inside the shelter, leaving the Villagers outside. It further shows that not only was it futile. It was also a scam. The same two men who were asking for food at Mr. Lao's shop caught us and were going to hurt us until I say, precisely that. The shelter was a scam."

"Mercenary Tao shows up on the scene. Mr. Lao then tells me not to fight because I would win and that it is the Villager's fight. Mr. Lao fights stunningly in a display of skill, but no match he was for Tao's might. Tao fires a Super Dodon Wave, but I easily block it. Tao is getting ready to fire again until a wave of fear washes over him."

I remember that part, clearly. Gohan did look like Goku. Surprisingly that Tao was able to tell that Gohan looked like his former enemy. Right, under the yellow hair and teal eyes.

"He pauses, and then he asks for my name. I stated that I was Gohan, which relief washes over him. I then voice that I was Goku's son, and Mercenary Tao then flees in fear. The mayor that was Mr. Bobonne begs for help with the shelter, but I destroyed it. I let them know that if I could do that imagine what Cell could've done. My time in the Chazke Village was over because I arrived there for Groceries. Dad shows up in the end and helps out with that."

That was an adored episode. I haven't forgotten, but there was nothing to talk about from that episode. All I got from that episode was to have hope even when you were about to die days from now. You never know what can change.

We were also pretty much lying on our backs in the ground. We didn't care much for the dirt and soil. Gohan was going to be talking for a bit, at least until the Cell Games began.

"Over the wait, Goten, I had my Birthday, my 11th Birthday. Only mom and Dad, Grandpa and Krillin, and Yajirobe were present. It would've been a much grander place if we weren't expecting doom. Mom was washing dishes, and Dad and I and Krillin were sitting at a table talking. Krillin was making fun of Yajirobe, where he teased him about the plea that he made to Vegeta. We were all laughing at that as I picked up the glass cup. I crushed it. My strength making even the gentle of touches have that much power. Dad told me to be careful of my strength. He demonstrates and does the same thing, crushing his glass cup. Mom got mad at us after we almost destroyed her house. She wonders why she couldn't get a normal family that does not break everything they touch." Gohan giggles at that.

That was Laughable.

"I asked why there were no plastic cups and plates to accommodate for our strength. Mom takes it as a joke, much to my bewilderment. I guess she wanted to have proper dining tools."

Chi-Chi was unique and did things her way.

"She lets me off since it was my Birthday, that I should clean up and study while Goku and Krillin focused on fishing. I said it was the right thing to do, much to everyone's surprise."

"They were surprised?" That was a good time for a good question.

"You see, back then, I was more focused on having fun than studying but after fighting for most of my life. Even I wanted to start studying and look towards a brighter future. If you were born earlier, who knows what fun we would be doing right now." Gohan smiled.

Right.

It honestly gets me thinking, what if I was the one to have gotten reincarnated in Gohan's Body? How much would I have affected the Timeline?

"Mom went to my room soon after, as I thought she didn't consider I was studying. She allowed me to fish with Goku and Krillin, which I happily accepted. She had a change of heart in the end."

"I am with Goku and Krillin in the apple tree, as Dad hits the apple tree. It rains apples; I caught them all. Krillin notes an apple in the hole of the tree."

"The Birthday cake was ready. There were candles on it. I blow the candles far too hard. The cake goes everywhere. Mom then threatens that I should get disciplined for destroying my cake. She smiles and then remarks that I am Dad's son, to everyone's enjoyment."

I can only think about how alien I've already made myself out to be from this family. I did not plan to act like Goku anytime soon. I was just incapable of doing it.

"After that, we relax. However, with Cell's doom lingering over. The Military decided to attack Cell, which Cell destroys with ease. Dad heard it over the radio. The loss was too much for Dad to bear, and with no Dragon Balls. We needed a new set. Dad brings Dende over from New Namek to the role of Guardian of Earth. He makes his own set with modifications from the original, which is almost better than the old ones Kami had. Dad gathers the Dragon Balls soon after."

"Ok, Goten. It's time for us to move. I'm going to show you where the Cell Games Arena took place."

I smile with glee. It was about time that I saw the fighting arena. Well, I knew. There will not be much of an arena left. But still, seeing the place where the fight happened was more than enough to get my blood pumping. It was exciting.

I quickly write everything he has said so far. I still remember word to word. I reread to make sure there were no errors. Unsurprisingly there was none. There was time to write since I was writing so fast and time around me slowed except for Gohan, who had been content on waiting for me to finish.

I got done, as Gohan is beginning to fly above and ahead of me. He was leading the way. I then briefly try to see if I can match him in speed, boosting my power and flying faster than ever. In the end, he was still ahead of me. It was a good try.

I flew across the whole world, yet it felt like a casual stroll. I'd say it was a good minute or two. We both arrive. To not find a ring but a crater that was vanishing. A part of me that was still hoping that the arena was still there was gone. I guess I can always fix that with Ki Images.

We landed on a terrain that was nearby the crater. It was more to have a good view of it all, more or less.

"Cell Games! Where to begin?" Gohan ponders for a moment.

"On the Lookout, Dad has teleported there to find most of the fighters who would be fighting Cell."

"Piccolo, me, Sknurt, Krillin, Mr. Popo, and Dende, waiting there."

"Krillin informs Goku that the new Dragon Dende made can not bring back someone who has already died back to life. Goku assures us all that no one will die in the fight with Cell."

"Dad, Krillin, Piccolo, Sknurt, and I fly towards the Cell Games Arena. On our way there, we find Yamcha and Tien. They inform us that they weren't going to fight."

"We arrive on the scene to find Vegeta and Android 16 there. Speaking of Android 16, he got fixed by Bulma and had a change of heart. He was on our side but was still wary about being around Goku. After all, he got designed to take him out."

"Most interestingly enough, a reporter and a cameraman were there. I didn't think there was going to be anyone other than us there. Krillin greets Android 16, and 16 gives his gratitude for Krillin and his sympathy.

He was the one who had seen the light in 16 and took him to Bulma if it wasn't for him. He wouldn't have been able to make it to the Cell Games."

Krillin may not have been the most capable fighter, but he was good at reading people.

"Dad would shake hands with Android 16, but 16 already knows who he is. He tells him that he was programmed to kill him, but he had chosen not to do it. Not when there was a far greater threat, and not when one of his target's friends saved him."

"Dad had given the signal that he was going to fight first, and Vegeta wanting to claim glory this time around, says that it doesn't matter who fights first. He was going to be the one to kill Cell."

"Dad wanted to fight Cell first, but Krillin tells him to let Mr. Satan fight him first. He was a fool. Maybe his loss to Cell would snap him back to reality, I wonder."

While I did love the Comical Character, Mr. Satan, I wondered if Gohan had any hate for the man. I would be pretty mad if someone steals my hard work for fame and glory.

"Right now, Cell was asking who was going to fight first, and Mr. Satan answered the call. Dad was warning Mr. Satan not to fight Cell. Krillin was trying to tell Dad that it was no use. It was almost sad to watch."

I wondered if Krillin genuinely just wanted to see those Idiots get beaten black and blue. Hey, they were to going to be ok and even if they were dead. They were Dragon Balls still around.

"The news reporter then tells his cameraman to do a closeup view on Goku. 'Only a moment ago, this long-haired hippy told the world's greatest hero to back down,' he says in his announcer's voice." Gohan says in his best impression of the announcer. Due to my increased Brain Power, I can remember how the announcer sounded. It was not bad, but it could be better.

"Krillin is telling Goku to let him fight because if he gets killed, then they could just bring him back with the Dragon Balls."

"Mr. Satan was about to take off his cloak when we heard a woman shouting from a Helicopter with 'PiRoSHiKi & CaRoNi' written on it."

There was a blonde-haired man with a rose emblem. He is the first out of the flying vehicle. Another man with just muscles with an elephant mask jumps from the helicopter. Lastly, there is a woman with long puffy orange hair that jumps out from the plane. She gets caught by the elephant mask man."

"The Blonde haired man does a twirl calls himself Caroni. The big guy flexes his muscles calls himself Pirozhki. The puffy-haired woman is their manager, Miss Piiza. Caroni and Pirozhki tell Mr. Satan that they will defeat Cell with ease. Mr. Satan, who has delusions with his fantasy of glory and fame, believes that he shouldn't waste his time with Cell."

"Caroni was first and was showing off to the spectators that were watching from the cameraman. He throws roses at Cell and calls it a funeral bouquet for Cell."

"The news reporter and Piiza believe that the match was already over. Krillin says he has a headache at the whole thing. I think we all did then, but it was better this way. Back then, it gave us more precious time to live."

If you put it like that, I guess I can't argue with that logic. You never know that the second you chose to strike was the reason you won the fight.

"The news manager explains the rules of the Cell Games Arena laid down by Cell. Caroni is getting ready for his attack. Something called 'Beautiful Flying Rose Attack' Cell expels his energy, and it sends him flying right out of the ring."

"Goku and Cell are staring at each other after that short-lived fight."

"Pirozhki is about to fight Cell now, saying that it is his turn. He removes that funny elephant mask, crushes it, and eats it whole. He was a brute. I still have no idea how he did it."

"Dad and Cell are still staring each other down as Pirozhki does his attack. The Megaton Bull Crusher. He slaps his sides and flails his arms around and charges at Cell."

"In the end, Cell is just so beyond them that Cell's Energy is forming a wall from Pirozhki and repels him away. He never had a chance."

I guess to anyone that's just far weaker than their foe or the other way around. You can't breach their barrier of energy, that example for one and Jiren versus Goku, at the start of it.

"Mr. Satan comes up with a delusional excuse, still not quite understanding that Cell wasn't hacking the games."

"It was Mr. Satan's turn to now fight Cell. With all of his students down, it was up to him to prove he was the World Champion. He takes off his cloak and shows a capsule, which poofs up a suitcase. He stacks the tiles and has a look that gives off the impression. He was meditating."

"With a mighty karate chop, he only gets fourteen. Then he starts battling Cell. Cell pretty much just stands there and takes his blows and then flicks him away. Finally starting the Cell Games."

"Goku and Cell finally do battle. It was one of the best fights you could ever see. The culmination of two masterful martial artists fighting with picture-perfect skill."

"And remember Goten; that was just the warm-up. They were getting started to fight."

"While The Dragon Team were in awe of the fight, I've seen it all. Perfect Cell was now using tricks and moves to get ahead of the battle. Using Tricks from old enemies like Frieza and our moves like Piccolo's Special Beam Cannon."

"Cell had increased his speed where Dad couldn't see him as he was right behind him. The fight rages on as Dad receives a herculean blow from Cell and with a barrage of punches. Dad is finally able to match Cell's speed as he knees Cell."

"They fight, continues as it ends with Goku charging a Kamehameha Wave to end the fight with Cell. Using all of his remaining energy at the last second, he teleported right in front of him and with a mighty blast. Dad destroys all of Cell's Upper Torso."

"Dad was unsure whether he defeated Cell for good. Cell ends up regenerating, and Goku and Cell tired continue fighting."

"For a moment, they appeared equal, but Dad was slowly getting overpowered by Cell. Doing a Continous Kamehameha, Cell is forced to block and can not move from where he is unless he wants to let his guard down."

"Cell then uses his Perfect Barrier stopping the Kamehameha Wave and almost took Goku's life."

"They then stop the fight, as Goku is losing energy faster than Cell. He forfeits the fight, proclaiming there needs to be a new hero. And that it cannot be him. Shocking all of us, including Cell."

"Goku pretty much throws in the towel, and everyone sits there in shock. Who was going to step up? Dad elaborates that when he came into the fight. He was not sure that he could defeat Cell. Now he knows that it was not a possibility."

Cell and Goku were almost equal in power. But I believe that Cell's unique Biology put him above Goku, just born with biology that put him on top of the fight.

"After thanking Cell, Cell warns Dad that he will continue to destroy the world, but Dad says no and that there is one more person that needs to fight."

"Dad even says that this person is stronger than him. Dad names me as his successor and haves me fight Cell."

"Everyone is shocked at Goku's decision, and what's even more shocking is when he gave a Senzu Bean to Cell. He wanted the fight to be fair, but in reality, he was trying to prove a point how much more powerful I was than Cell."

"Cell was laughing at the idea, but after a quick power-up. Claiming that Goku had sealed my fate, I powered up to shut him up."

"We fight, and I was doing pretty well. That is until Cell takes it a bit further and beats me into the ground. I was bleeding from my bottom lip, but I smiled at the challenge. I was finally going to prove that I was as strong as Dad."

"The fight continues again, as all I can do is keep dodging Cell's attacks. I'm getting bashed again, and Cell believes he has won. Cell even asks Dad to fight him, but Dad tells Cell to look at the rubble, and sure enough, I remerged with almost no drop in my energy. The Dragon Team was worried that I had died."

"Cell was giving me credit, but I had told Cell that I did not want to fight. I was never really a fighter. The Genetic Monster is forcing me in the end, bringing about the destruction of Earth if I do not fight him."

"I warn Cell of Dad's reasoning for forfeiting the fight, saying that my emotions got tied to my strength. It only encourages him to try and bring out my hidden strength as he tries to get me mad."

"He was smacking me around, but I finally snapped as I kicked him hard. It catches him off guard. Cell recovers as he has a bloody lip. It seems to encourage the biological Android even harder. Making him do whatever it takes to bring out my power for an enjoyable fight. I know Dad was smiling because Cell would leave me no choice but to destroy him."

The only problem Goku had here was that he read Gohan's Intentions wrong. While it was enjoyable to fight the same monster, his Dad was fighting in the end. Did he want to kill Cell?

"The Fighters were worried, but in the end, none of them could hold a candle to Cell. Perfect Cell was beyond all of them. Dad had a good chance, but he couldn't bring the final blow to defeat Cell."

"Cell was inflicting pain upon me. He gave me a bear hug trying to crush my spine."

"Cell then declares that if I don't get mad through physical pain, maybe the pain of my family and friends will make me angry. Before Dad could change his mind about having me fight Cell, Cell takes the Senzu Bean away from him, and the bag stashed with Senzu Beans from Krillin."

Let it be known. That Cell was fast.

"Android 16 pops up out of nowhere and grabs Cell in a bear hug. Android 16 was going to self-destruct, but what 16 didn't know. Was that Bulma and her father had already removed the bomb from his system. Krillin was the only one who had the knowledge to tell him this but didn't because he didn't think there was any reason to. Not everyone would like to know there was a bomb inside them. Krillin also got caught up in recent events to be able to think about telling him this fact before it was too late."

"16 gets destroyed. Leaving only the head, in the end, it never mattered. Perfect Cell would've just regenerated from the explosion as it is. Guaranteed if the bomb could even affect him."

"Cell then produces Cell Juniors to bring unimaginable pain to my friends. The Cell Juniors are just The Genetic Monster but tiny and blue. If that makes sense."

"They were beating down on my friends and family. Dad was too tired from the fight with Cell, but Yamcha and Tien defended him."

"At one point, all of the Cell Juniors were down, but they all get back up and begin to batter the Dragon Team again. This time they were succeeding."

"Krillin is getting tortured to death. Yamcha has his arm broken. Tien and Goku can't keep up. Even Piccolo is losing. It was only Vegeta and Trunks that was able to defend themselves well but can't quite land a finishing blow."

"I was too nervous, too scared of Cell to help. While I did enjoy fighting, I didn't want to fight to kill. It was against my nature."

"All of a sudden, Android 16's head shows up. He tells me that it's ok to kill. That not everyone can get changed, some people will always be evil no matter what. Perfect Cell smashes 16's head under his boot, and that is all it takes for me to become enraged and transform into the first-ever Ascended Super Saiyan."

"Amazing!" I say.

"Heh, Cell wasn't intimidated, thinking that I have even made a mistake in my transformation. But deep down, I knew Cell was shocked at my power. There was no mistaking it, the power I now beheld. Perfect Cell still believed he could take me on, but I swiped the Senzu Beans away. He still wanted to play games. The Cell Juniors got wiped out with swift strikes. There was one last one that was threatening to kill Krillin if I kept taking steps to close. It never stood a chance, I was too fast, and it knew it."

"I give the Senzu Beans to Sknurt to treat the Z-Fighters, as I'm going to fight Cell."

Oh boy, the grand finale. Hopefully, there are no changes here, and I didn't land in an alternative universe, the Moment of Truth.

"It was the final big bad, Cell, and now he doesn't compare. He had a hard time keeping up with me as I'm merely just playing with him."

"Cell was warning me not to be cocky, but it was hypocritical, and I'm telling him to piss off. Even after revealing he hadn't gone full strength which he wasn't bluffing. He does, but it hardly makes a difference."

"Cell thinks it is impressive, but he doesn't truly understand that I was holding back. His attacks fail as he gets desperate, and I'm sending him flying away in pain. It was at that moment. We began to see hope."

"Cell is trying his best. Using every technique, shamelessly using our techniques as the realization dawns on him that he is no match for me anymore."

"He even tries to blow up the planet, failing miserably. I sent it right back at him with a Kamehameha of my own. He got left with a broken body."

"For a moment, he was struggling, but now Goku asks me to finish Cell. It was by no accident. I didn't finish him off right then and there. The rage of the Ascended Super Saiyan was new to me than Super Saiyan. I got consumed by it, and it turned me sadistic. I wanted Cell to suffer for all that he had done. Putting my father's protests to rest as I had fallen for the time being."

Damn. It hurt a lot more hearing it from Gohan than just knowing what happened during the Anime and Manga. If I did transform right now, I would most likely end up like him. Just too new and inexperienced to the Super Saiyan consumed by its rage. Without even knowing, I was getting influenced. And even if I did know, just because I knew it doesn't mean I was not preventing it. I might as well have gotten influenced. Just as much as if I didn't know; that I was getting influenced.

It was safer not to pull off the transformation, not because I couldn't do it. I very well knew I could. It was too risky, and I was already freaky enough.

I wouldn't even be offended if I was called an Abomination.

"Cell regenerates and buffs his body. He is sacrificing his speed for brute strength. He is too slow that I land two powerful kicks, the face and then the stomach. The stomach portion makes him sick, as I could feel him losing his power before he spits out Android 18. He regressed into his Semi-Perfect form. It was then the end for Cell, or so I thought."

"Semi-Perfect Cell is reaching for Android 18, and I could hear Krillin yelling at Cell not to touch her. He then goes after me in a blind rage, in a sad attempt. Knowing that he can't win anymore, he engorges ki into his body as he readied himself to blow up along with the Earth."

"It was then I realized my mistake. I had grown too sure of myself. Whether it was the influence of this new form or not, I had completely failed to defeat Cell. It was all my fault. The Earth was doomed."

"The Earth would've been doomed if Dad hadn't stepped up and made the ultimate sacrifice. A heartfelt goodbye got made, and with a final request for me to look after mom, Dad teleports away, and Cell blows himself up. I was angry at myself for allowing this to happen. Krillin tries to comfort me but leaves for Android 18."

"Everyone was mourning for Goku's Death, but it got cut short when Cell gets revived and takes out Sknurt with such incredible speed. Piccolo lets everyone know that he is back. And Cell drops the bombshell of how he survived, a cell managing to survive and regenerating from there. And he managed to absorb the remains of Goku's Body learning teleportation."

"He had become Super Perfect. It was his version of my ascended Super Saiyan."

"We were getting ready to fight again, and the rest of the Z-Fighters try to save Sknurt, but he vomits blood, and he is dead. Vegeta, enraged at Cell for killing his son, charges in and begins his relentless attacks. It was for nothing as it doesn't affect Super Perfect Cell."

"He merely swipes him and shoots a blast to finish him off. I got forced to rush in for Vegeta. The ki wave mangles my arm."

"Now it was hopeless. I was even weaker now. It was going to take a miracle to defeat Cell."

"Cell was just getting ready to end everything as I knew it. Super Perfect Cell was charging a Kamehameha powerful enough to destroy the entire Solar System, as he claims. Cell tells me a story that he thought he was supposed to end Earth, but now Cell realizes he was supposed to end the universe as we know it."

"Vegeta apologizes to me because he knew I didn't have a chance at defeating Cell, not anymore."

"I was ready to give up. There was no way I was going to defeat Cell with just one arm? Goku is speaking to me, from King Kai telling me to launch everything I had into one final Kamehameha to defeat Cell. I expressed my doubts, but I did it for Dad. I charged my Kamehameha as I prepared to face off against the Genetic Monster once and for all. Super Perfect Cell was mocking me, but I couldn't blame him then. It got well deserved."

"Our beams were colliding, but even then, Cell gained the upper hand on me. Dad told me not to worry about the Earth as we can always go to Namek for their Dragon Balls, but still, it makes no difference."

"Piccolo tries to help by launching a Masenko at Cell. Cell directs his aura and flashes Piccolo away. Dad sensed this from his Telepathy, and I deduced this from his shouts."

"The Z-Fighters made their efforts except for Vegeta. Who believed that this was useless and that we would all die in the end. He changes his mind as he realizes that the Z-Fighters. Were causing enough of a distraction for me to gain the upper hand."

"Dad tells me to throw all of my remaining Ki, but it still wasn't enough for the Genetic Monster. The Dragon Team was still trying to assist, but the results did not change. They got forced to fall back."

"Just when I was on my last leg, Vegeta does his Galick Blazer at Cell. He was the only one who hadn't joined in for the distraction against Cell. It distracts Cell long enough for me to release everything into a Father-Son Kamehameha Wave. I scream and do release everything, with Dad encouraging me in the process. I hear Cell's haunting death scream. As my energy beam vaporizes every Cell, preventing any form of regeneration. Super Perfect Cell got destroyed at last, and Earth got saved from a grim fate. I collapsed with a smile on my face."

"The Cell Games was over. We had finally won."

I just yawned. It was about time. I've heard the story a million times, and as Gohan was telling the story with the Cell Games. I had used his words almost like a DVD while I placed images in my head with Ki. Acting as if I was there and watching from the skies, it was the grand finale, and I did want to give it a proper send-off.

"Man, I was so very exhausted. You should've seen me when it happened; I couldn't even walk. I got carried by Yamcha. We all took who was either injured or unconscious and went to the Lookout. I got healed by Dende, and the first thing I could say was that I saw Dad, and he helped me kill Cell. Piccolo was proud of me. 18 wakes up. I drop the bombshell that Krillin has a crush on 18, but I destroyed his chances with her, or so I thought as I said that. I embarrassed Krillin." Gohan giggles at that memory.

Krillin is lucky to have someone like 18. From where I came from, a chance like that is 1% out of 100. Virtually non-existent. As this is fiction, characters got set to act in a predetermined way. Chi-Chi is loud, Goku is slow, Frieza is just evil. The list goes on, and all I have to do; was exploit that to make sure I always stay on top no matter what. It was that simple, now that I think about it. It's not that they couldn't get changed, but I don't have to change them. It just makes it easier for me. Even if they did change, all I had to do was change my approach.

"The Dragon Balls gets gathered, and we use it to wish all of Cell's Victims to get revived. Krillin is thoughtful, saying that we should use the wish to New Namek to use Porunga's Dragon Balls. But Goku wants to stay dead, which saddens all of us. His successor was me and felt no reason to come back."

"We bid our farewells and talked about what we liked most about Dad. Mr. Satan takes credit for the fame and glory. We were annoyed, but someone had to know who killed Cell."

Damn, that easy? No fight for the glory? These people were selfless. It was almost admirable; I could never be as selfless as the Dragon Team was.

"The last wish was still there, Goten." Gohan starts again, bringing me back to finishing the Cell Games.

"And it got used to wishing Number 17 and 18 into humans as Krillin was thoughtful and had a crush on 18. Shenron can't make the wish happen as it is beyond his power, or he says. Krillin then wishes for the bombs planted inside the Androids to get shut down. He got questioned, and he let it known that he has a crush on 18. Krillin then lets Yamcha know that he removed the bomb from 17 because 18 and 17 would make a good couple."

I was mainly thinking about why Shenron couldn't grant the wish for 17 and 18 to have their bodies restored to normal. Was it because their power was too high for the request to have any effect, or was it because it was without permission?

It was most likely the former than it was with the latter.

"18 appears out of nowhere, as she couldn't be sensed and lets us know that 18 was her brother and that they were not a couple. Yamcha was making fun of Krillin, but Krillin wanted 18 to join them, which she says no, but 18 thanks Krillin for his compassion."

"It was time for us to leave, as 18 is gone. We celebrated with Piccolo opting to stay on the Lookout. Yamcha, me, Krillin, and Trunks leave the Lookout, and we part ways with myself and Krillin back to our house and Yamcha and Trunks to Capsule Corp."

"It was hard telling mom that Dad wasn't coming back. She cried for hours, but she had to move on. Dad wasn't dead, just in a better place where he could fight as much as he ever wanted, sounds like heaven for him."

"Sknurt leaves back to his Timeline after we all bid him farewell from Capsule Corp. Life is back to normal when I take a trip with the Ox-King to a waterfall."

"That is the end of the Cell Games." He finished at last.

He then promptly collapses to the terrain behind him, well-deserved. He did all of that without losing willpower. I guess it was time to go home. No, not home, let's go to the Lookout.

"Lookout?" I say.

"But I just finished telling you the story of our history," Gohan whined.

"It was only 40-50 minutes." I deadpanned. It was nearly an hour before 11. Ok, maybe it was long, but today was young, more time for me to get to the Lookout.

He gives up and finally gives me what I want.

"Let's go."

"Yes."

I didn't jump, scared for my stubby legs, but flight more than made up for it.

We traveled southwest and made it to the Tower in almost a minute. I bet it could've been less than that. I sensed Piccolo, Dende, Korin, and Yajirobe's Ki. I think I couldn't get him last time. Now this time, I had him memorized. I was not going to forget him unless it's been a minute.

We fly past Korin's Tower, waving during the split-second of time we had. I doubt they could've seen our waves unless they were somehow lucky to have seen it.

We make it to Kami's Lookout, and I land on the Tower with Gohan landing a second late. It was still the same Trio that we left the Lookout to, but I wonder, did they just spend their time watching over Earth? Nothing else at all? For Seven years!

"Welcome back!" Dende greets excitedly, happy more at seeing his pal Gohan back on the Lookout again.

"So, have you finally made your choice Goten?" Piccolo speaks gruffly; I could've sworn just a moment ago. He was meditating.

"Yes." I squeaked.

"I would like to join in too." Gohan chimes in, shocking everyone, including me present.

"Are you sure?" Piccolo says, but we were all hoping for Gohan's answer to be.

"Yes."

Piccolo's shocked expression transforms into a smile. I was pretty much leaping at joy, and Dende and Mr. Popo just chuckled.

"Well, then let's get started." Piccolo finished.

###

We were all practicing now, even Dende was joining in on the fun, but he eventually stopped. Not because he couldn't keep up but because he had to return to being the Guardian of Earth. While he considered it an honor, it was a dull job to me.

We were practicing meditation, while I believe it was to help get Gohan back in shape a bit. I knew the broad reason was that if I tried to mimic their training. I would probably die.

Meditating was peaceful, but it wasn't helping my skills. There wasn't much for me to progress with my skills though, I was just a baby.

Admittedly, it was the perfect type of training for me, but I was afraid it would make me too lazy. By the time I was ready for proper physical practice than premature ones.

You can also use meditation as another way of sleeping, just fully immersed in your Ki that your Ki also replenishes your strength.

"Concentrate yourself, Goten. Your ki says it all. You're in deep conflict." Mr. Popo says. He was that astute with sensing Ki that he could tell when I was in turmoil and not. I centered myself, now with no thoughts.

"Good." The black genie, seemingly sensing that I was without turmoil. How the hell did he do that?

I didn't give it much time to wonder as I just left it to my imagination. With Ki Sensing, you can do a lot more than just simply sensing the current battle power of a person. Maybe read actual feelings and thoughts. Well, reading thought has already gotten done, plain Telepathy. Damn, I feel stupid for thinking that was some rare technique that Popo employed.

Back to the training, Piccolo was meditating with us too. We were in a straight line between the Palm Trees facing the ladder down. I would assume Dende is in front of us doing his Guardian of the Earth duties.

There wasn't much to say but a quiet training that lasted into the next hour.

"Ok, boys." Mr. Popo stands up. I opened my eyes just in time to see him putting his arms behind his back.

"That was your first lesson and only lesson for the day." Mr. Popo spoke that shocked me, but no one else looked surprised. That's it? Not that I wanted to complain, but I could've lasted longer than that.

"Really?"

"Yes." Mr. Popo could tell I wasn't satisfied with his answer, so he decided to elaborate.

"How hard you train doesn't mean you get just as strong. What matters is the efficiency of your training. You may have done all of those premature workouts, but did your strength increase just as much? You have no muscles to develop from properly yet. Meditation is your only way of strength as of now." Mr. Popo cuts me through.

But it's not as if I didn't know it before.

Piccolo slices in as well.

"Popo is right. You can't do much from where you stand. Gohan and I will be taking training to the next level until you've aged enough to join in. In the meantime, you can learn from how we fight, and that will give you an insight from what you will be dealing with soon."

"Bye, Goten." Gohan finishes Piccolo's speech off, as Piccolo and Gohan fly off from the Lookout to find a quieter place to train. I could live with that, just meditation from now on.

"You still want to continue training?" Mr. Popo asked.

I didn't have much to do, and Gohan was training with Piccolo. I should be doing the same.

"Yes."

The Black Genie takes a seat cross-legged and motions for me to sit beside him. I do just that and close my eyes. I could pretty much feel Mr. Popo do the same soon after.

"Immerse yourself with yourself. Ignoring the distractions from Piccolo's and Gohan's Training will be the challenge of this training."

As if on cue, I could hear booms and impacts coming from below. They were probably shaking the planet and probably beyond that the Solar System. The Lookout was just so high that you didn't feel the effects of their training. But you can hear it.

###

It was 3:00 PM, and Piccolo and Gohan were back on the Lookout. It was time to go back home but to Mr. Popo and me. We got energized as if we just woke up from a deep sleep.

The effects of Mediation.

Piccolo briefed Gohan on the pros and cons of his training, and Mr. Popo, there wasn't much to say.

"You did well for meditation. You managed to calm your mind so very quickly. That to you, time was but a mere moment."

I smiled at that. Meditation would come in handy to kill time. It did give me the illusion that it was a mere moment. And not the actual 2 hours that we sat through. Well, if you weren't counting, the first meditation session we did with Gohan and Piccolo. I didn't even feel hungry.

I bet I probably did, but I got so energized that the feeling of hunger didn't exist right now. It was just power emanating from my Ki, still fresh from meditating so acutely.

"You can choose to meditate when you get home. You've pretty much mastered it on your first go here. But it doesn't matter. You would've done it, nevertheless, would you?"

My smile turned quite mischievous; Popo was right. I would've done this during the night shifts. It was far better than sleep. Sleep was just so slow to react. Unnecessary time got taken then the time that should've gotten used for rest.

With meditation, you were conscious. You were awake and knew what transpired around you. Yet it felt like a moment when you Meditate a surreal feeling.

Piccolo got done briefing Gohan, and it was time to go back.

"Bye Goten, Bye Gohan." Dende started.

"Bye!" Gohan said for me, as I merely waved. We flew down from the and passing Korin's Place. I waved to both Korin and Yajirobe that were there. I slowed a bit to make sure that they saw me wave and that I wasn't just wasting my time doing such an action. They did. They were waving back.

I flew a bit faster than before, catching up right behind Gohan. Before slowing down, we moved up from our downward position to flying in a straight line and straight towards Mount Paozu. I was getting used to knowing my locations; without using a map and sensing where I needed to go. Though while I was following Gohan, I was trusting my gut at the same time.

I imagined it took about 2 minutes to go from the Lookout into Mount Paozu.

It doesn't matter about the time. In the end, we were faster than anything as of this moment. Vegeta might be training right now, but this was still fresh out of the Cell Games. He had a long way to go to surpass Gohan, but with Gohan continuing to train? He just never will eclipse Gohan. It was sad, but that was the truth.

On the bright side, I was curious to see how strong Gohan will be in the future. Since he doesn't know of the existence of Buu, then I will be the one to push him. If I know of Buu and can get stronger than him while Gohan is far tenacious than me, then the Buu Saga virtually wouldn't exist.

The problem was that should I leave Buu inside his Capsule for another irrelevant amount of time?

We landed in front of the door and opened it to find Bulma in there with Trunks?

"Hello, Gohan and Goten. Did you two enjoy training?" Chi-Chi said with a smile on her face. She looked calm that we were gone for a good percent of the day. I guess she was ok with our training. It wasn't a secret. I came home yesterday telling her that I would train.

There was no mention of Bulma showing up, but that felt like her. I didn't know how to explain it.

"It was fun," Gohan answered, but then Bulma was staring at me. Was she expecting me to talk? Chi-Chi revealed a lot, didn't she?

I won't talk. I will jump!

I jumped in agreement with Gohan. I was still energized even after flying across the Dragon Ball Map.

"He's not talking! You said he will talk?"

I guess Bulma didn't care for the fact that I just jumped to agree with Gohan's statement. Nor did she care about the fact that I was standing. She was either so experienced with dealing with abnormalities, which shouldn't be a shock. Goku destroying an entire army as a Kid? Bulma has seen enough. Either that or she didn't care.

I still wasn't going to say anything.

We entered our house, Gohan got himself acquainted with Bulma all over again. It was months after the Cell Games.

I flew straight to Trunks, Trunks just flailing his arms around as a baby would. I only then realized how weird it was looking at Trunks, who was the same as me.

It just made me feel superior. Gohan then joins me with tiny Trunks. He was in a crib; it wasn't a basket, at least. It was honestly better than mine.

"You see, that's Trunks," Bulma says in cooed tone, talking to me like I was a baby. Which I was, pointing at Trunks in the crib.

"Oh, don't waste your time talking to him like that. He can understand you, just well like an Adult."

"Really? He might even become more of a genius than I ever was when he reaches my age."

She then briefly ruffles my hair as I am flying to be above the crib to see Trunks.

He looked innocent. And yet, he was going to have to fight. Well, a lot more now, considering if Vegeta hears about me. But it would be good for him. Maybe overcome the gap that was starting to become glaring, combined with his better age and a ruthless teacher.

Trunks stare at me, and I feel a connection right then and there, he is trying to stand, and in one attempt, Trunks succeeds. He must be a strong baby and quite intelligent in what he does. Well, the capable part doesn't surprise anyone; his father is Vegeta.

"BoBo," Trunks says, was that his way of saying that he could stand too.

"Aww!" Bulma and Chi-Chi say in unison. I'm just flying and staring at Trunks. While Gohan is just being Gohan, watching the whole thing with wonder in his eyes.

"He likes you!" Bulma says.

I already can tell Bulma wasn't leaving any time soon. And that this was going to make the last 2 hours I spent meditating seem tame.

###

"BoBo," Trunks says, playing with blocks.

"Mhm," I say, hoping not to show my boredom. I can't be mad. Trunks was just a baby trying to learn.

We had moved to the carpet floor, and we were giving blocks that were supposed to be stacked numerically.

I could easily stack them, no doubt, but I decided not to do it. And order the blocks wrongly. It was to test Trunks intelligence, a baby now, yes, but as he grew old. He might be as brainy or surpass Bulma in terms of intelligence.

He stacks them right. It had been his third time catching the mistake that I purposely made and doing it right. I won't even lie. I was proud.

"Good Job," I say for the first time around Bulma's Presence.

"Now your talking!" Bulma says. Right, I just told myself I wasn't going to talk.

The blocks that I set in order weren't that hard to figure out. It was just one that got misplaced. I could do it all, but as I am testing Trunk's intelligence. He wouldn't understand it.

"Do you two want to watch T.V?" Bulma says, doing a not-so-great job at hiding her phone.

She was taking pictures as she sat on the couch and had been trying to hide them behind her back. She was doing a pretty good job of it. I just had faster reaction speed for obvious reasons. But to her, it looked as if I didn't see it all. Moving too fast for her to comprehend, sometimes I love being powerful.

I didn't mind them at all. It was just amusing watching Bulma do that.

I nod in confirmation. I could relax. We did this for an hour, and I still haven't eaten during the time frame I spent visiting the Z-Fighters greatest battles with Gohan and training with Mr. Popo.

Bulma picks up Trunks, and I levitate with her. Chi-Chi can't stop me. I'm too brilliant. At this point, I'd be studying for no reason already.

She is working with Gohan as he studies on the Dining Table. This time the Dining Table was moved behind the couch and not in the middle between the television. I guess that had materialized while Gohan and I were gone.

We were watching T.V, and there was not much on it. A few movies and shows here and there. That couldn't pique my interest. Trunks had been excited, felt a connection at watching the T.V.

"Wow, you like Ghosts?" Bulma asked.

Yes, he was excited at watching paranormal or things that were unnatural on the T.V.

It was amusing because some of the things that were Paranormal; was done by the Z-Fighters. It didn't take much to spot a Ki Blast, something moving telekinetically, really anything that needed Ki to get done. It could've probably been some fight or spar between the Dragon Team members and some nosy cameraman taking the video right when the 'paranormal' thing happened.

"He likes Ghosts," Bulma confirms.

Other than that, there wasn't much that I did not see before. And it was pretty fun solving what I've seen before so long ago up to now. It got old very quickly.

"Can we watch the news?" I say. Wonder what Mr. Satan's been doing.

"Ok, Trunks Honey, we're going to watch the news, ok?"

Trunks do not pay any mind. Too focused on the T.V. to realize that the show Trunks was watching was about to get changed. When it happened, Trunks started to cry.

"It was just ghosts?" Bulma tried to calm her son. He luckily wasn't crying loud at all; just his face was all mushy.

Taking note Trunks was very easy to calm down, just cooed speeches did the work.

We were watching the news, this time NBS News. It was Mr. Satan this and that; This channel was Mr. Satan heavy. They did talk about what went on around the world, but I guess most of it was about Mr. Satan doing his duty to defend the Earth. It just consisted of him swaggering about his championship and his victory over Cell.

"Hahaha! Any evildoer that wants to do wrong in this world will be answering to me. You got that?"

Yeah, I got that. Satan was making the news watchable, the fact that he was lying and people bought into his lies. It just made the News fun. It was just a dangerous game of when he will get caught.

I heard snoring, and that was when I knew Trunks was asleep. He most likely couldn't understand what he was watching and just decided to go to sleep.

"Aww, he's sleeping," Bulma says softly. Trunks just used her chest as if they were pillows. I calmly observed him as Bulma got up to put him inside the crib. I followed suit. Now with Bulma watching over Trunks, I merely went back to the T.V. and turned it off. There wasn't more I wanted to see from the T.V. I flew back to Bulma and watched Trunks sleep peacefully.

"You two are going to be best friends. do you know that?" Bulma sparks again.

You have no idea, Bulma.

"Yes."

"You know, Trunks is older than you by a year, but I want you to be the guardian angel over my boy."

"Ok." I calmly said.

I was the most intelligent of the duo. It was only natural that I watched over Trunks. No magical moment about this; it was just reality.

"I'm trusting you can do this, ok, honey?" Bulma says animatedly.

"No promises." I tried my best not to have a smile creep up my face. The furthest that I got was just the corner of my lips curling upwards. I was trolling, of course. I'd do my very best to make sure Trunks lives a good life. He was already the saddest character, his future self. We don't need present Trunks to feel the same sadness.

Leaving Trunks to his slumber and Bulma to accompany her son, I briefly flew to the Dining Table and asked one thing I had in mind.

"Hey, mom, can I meditate outside?"

"Sure!"

That went easier than I expected. I expected resistance after the stunt I pulled all those months ago. Watching a Dinosaur get eaten alive.

I went to the roof and took a meditative stance. In theory, it wasn't necessary to do such an action, but it was just proper to do, so that was all.

I felt life around me, becoming immersed purely with my Ki and allow my Ki to grow. As my Ki grew, my strength grew in accordance. That was meditation and how it worked.

I cleared my mind before I got started. However, there was at least one thought that lingered long enough before it vanished. When was Chi-Chi going to show up?

I wasn't going to meditate simply to increase my strength. I was also going to meditate to increase my range of senses. How far can I sense Ki?

My 1st attempt consisted of trying to sense as many lifeforms as I could out into the Solar System and beyond. My 2nd attempt consisted of trying to reach who had the largest Ki at the moment. Which I only found Vegeta's other than Gohan and Piccolo. Even though I had never met Vegeta, it didn't take a genius to know what that Large Ki is in West City.

I eventually concluded that the range you can sense Ki is just dependent on the energy that exists. Since we're in Dragon Ball and Ki exists everywhere, I can theoretically reach all there is. In practice, it depends on your strength.

There's no way a moon-level being is going to reach a Star Level being. Had that been the case, ever since Goku learned how to sense Ki? He should've been able to feel Frieza, the most powerful being at the time.

Another one was that it depended on the realm you were in unless you were that powerful that you ignored it. Buu just teleported to the Kaioshin Realm. But I bet he would've pulled some fantastical feat, tearing a hole in space-time to reach the Kaioshin Realm. It is Buu, an alien made of Magic. A superpowered galaxy-level being.

With that in mind and no other mysteries I needed to solve, I kept meditating.

###

Time passed quickly, yet it felt slow. The same surreal experience I had when first meditating deeply at the Lookout. All my other meditative sessions didn't quite measure up to what I did at the Lookout. It was like dreaming. Time was somehow quick as you fantasized, yet knowing you were dreaming.

There were no actual words to describe the experience. You just had to feel it.

It was in the night.

Due to mental math, it was most likely 7:00 PM. Somewhere around there if you wanted a general area.

I entered the house to see Chi-Chi and Gohan still there. Bulma was there with her short Trunks. They still weren't gone. It's not as if I wanted them gone, but I just didn't know what else to say to them. More specifically, I didn't know how to act around Trunks. That was the real reason, with that aside.

"Mom, I didn't think you'd trust me that much to leave me outside for 2 hours. I thought you'd show up to look for me." I wondered.

"I learned how to sense Ki a while ago. I knew you were on top of our roof." Chi-Chi says casually. I didn't know whether to be shocked or proud; or annoyed. Maybe all of them were what I should've felt.

"Good Job?"

She merely chuckles. Something told me she knew a lot more than she was letting on.

Gohan isn't studying anymore and has resigned to watching television. And then it was just Two Moms having conversations that were insignificant to me. Trunks had still been asleep.

I proceeded to fly and get the Red Book, which when arriving home. I had just let it fly out of my hand and along with the map. I believe Chi-Chi was there to pick up the two tools that I used throughout the world. The best guess I had was that it was in the bedroom upstairs. The room Gohan and I shared.

It didn't take long for me to find it. I merely flew up. And subsidize what I was looking for within a few glances.

Now in the basket crib, I wrote what had transpired on this day. I had reread all of my notetaking with exploring the various Dragon Ball Sagas. I had added details that I had either missed or corrected mistakes made in my writing. I had been writing fast. No matter how slow my perception of time was, it was always good to check for miscalculations.

And remember, there was nothing to do in the Son House other than studying; this was entertainment.

I sat there thinking about what more to add, now that I got done making sure my book was up to standard. I decided to fly down and watch T.V. with Gohan. He doesn't watch T.V. at all. It was a rare occurrence.

He was watching the news as well. It was boring. His free time and this is what he does?

"Let me show you something fun." I levitate the remote to my hand and, after seconds of switching channels. I found this world's version of Justice League or Avengers; however, you want to call it. Not to say this as an insult, but Gohan was a nerd. Under all the fighting he may have done at the end of the day. He was just a regular nerdy boy.

It was glaring to me that he did not have any interests. I didn't even need to infer at all. Because of that, it was likely that he didn't have anything to excite him. Hopefully, my calculations are correct, and well any mature show, an exciting tale should do the trick.

"Are you sure this is fun? I don't know what's going on." Gohan agonized. Well, this is your chance to find something else other than studying, something to enjoy other than work.

"That's because we're halfway into the show. We didn't start from the beginning of the show. Of course, you don't understand what's going on." I say, destroying Gohan's attempt at not watching the show. He was deadset on doing anything related to work. He gives in and accepts his fate as he proceeds to watch the show. I sat back, starting to enjoy the show myself. It wasn't bad; It was pretty fun. It was relaxing.
