Chapter 66 Helping and Exploring
Ash and Lillie are walking to the Learning Section considering that they have finished the Battle Section. They find a school, only to find that it is closed because of the guest speakers at the Sea Star Shrine.
Ash: And I was hoping to get a diploma in the school...
Lillie: (Confused) Why do you need a diploma from the Sea Star School?
Ash: My mother wants me to get a diploma so that my father would be proud. The last time I see him is a lot of years ago, and I learned that he had stayed here at the school.
Lillie: I see...Then let's go to the Shopping and Food Section.
Before they go to the Food Section, they go to the Pokemon Mart to buy some stuff, and they hear the voice for the thirteenth time.
Mysterious Voice: You can find me here for one Heart Scale! Just kidding, you already find me.
Lillie: (Mutters) Yeah, and we still don't know who you are.
After purchasing, Ash and Lillie are now at the Food Section of the Sea Star Society, and they find Delicia standing in front of Duncan, who is at his own Donut stand.
Delicia: Chocolate Eclairs?
Duncan: Welcome to Duncan's Donuts! Unfortunately, we're all out of...well, everything at the moment. A dentist bought pretty much all our stock for today.
Ash: Dentist Drew again? He really likes donuts...
Delicia: ... ;~;
Delicia starts to cry as she can't buy any donuts, and she starts using Hyper Voice on everyone.
Ash: (Both Ash and Lillie cover their ears) Oh my gosh...why is this happening?
Lillie: I feel like I'm going to faint...
Everyone in the Sea Star Society all falls to the ground as they faint. After a while, everyone manages to get back up to the ground.
Lillie: Wow...Delicia sure can scream...
Ash: Tell me about it...my ears almost broke...
Pikachu and Snowy are also groaning in pain after what has happened.
Duncan: Well, that's certainly something...I may have an idea. Just to the north of here is the Help Section. You can find the Undersea Volcano there. We have someone who stands guard at the entrance and offers donuts to Volcanion every day. She usually has plenty left over. She always brings a lot in case Volcanion happens to be especially hungry one day. We actually invented donuts after being inspired by the hoop-shaped part of Volcanion's body! Why don't you go check if there are still any donuts left?
Ash: (Mutters) Not Volcanion... (Remembers the encounter in the Kalos Region) Any Legendary but him...
Lillie: Did you have some problems with Volcanion? I mean, it is a Mythical Pokemon after all.
Ash: I have been bound with him for almost a day, what do you think?
Lillie: How? (surprised by the fact that Ash is bound with Volcanion for almost a day.)
Ash: It crashes to me with the giant handcuff-like thing, and then it attaches to my waist and I have been dragged by him if I don't want to touch his hot body.
Lillie chuckles a little, but because Ash is her boyfriend, she decides to stop teasing.
After getting to the cave, they find the person who stands guards, and after talking to her
Guard: Duncan ran out of donuts? I have a box left. I don't really see the point in giving just one box, though. Wouldn't it be better to wait until tomorrow?
Ash: Trust me, we have a friend who only wants the box of donuts today, we didn't want to hear her screaming again...
Guard: Oh, that loud sound was your friend who was upset because there were no donuts left? That sound scared everyone. If it'll calm her down, I'll be right there!
Then she quickly rushes to the donut place to give Duncan a box of donuts,
Duncan: It seems like she did still have some! Here are your chocolate eclairs!
Delicia: (Excited) Chocolate eclairs! :D (Takes the box)
Ash: Okay, Delicia, we need to go back to the meeting sport, Crolea is waiting for us there.
Delicia nods as she quickly goes to the meeting spot while trying to stuff some chocolate eclairs there.
After that's done, they go to the Help Section as they find Emily and Gladion there.
Emily: Ash, Lillie! When we got here, we found out the Sea Stars have been luring the simulations back here and dealing with them in small groups. We've taken care of most of the remaining ones, there are only three left. We could finish the job, but I'm sure you'd like to have some fun too, right?
Ash and Lillie agree as they battle the simulations, and they easily defeat all three of them.
Gladion: Good job, that's all of them!
Carol: (Suddenly appears) Thank you all for your help! I'll send these back up to the surface!
Then she takes the three simulations and leaves, Ash and Lillie turn to Emily.
Emily: What? She was there, or else how would the other Simulations be gone? Since that's taken care of, I'll go back to where we're all supposed to meet up!
After they leave, they decide to look around and they find a white-skinned girl.
Guardian: Are you Ash and Lillie? I have heard a lot about you.
Ash: Did we meet before? I don't think we have...
Guardian: Ah, you'll know about me soon. Meet me in Celium Park, we're going to summon the Pillsbury Dough Boy!
Lillie: Pillsbury what?
Just then, the figure disappears, and they shrug it off, trying to find other people to help them.
Man: Is your refrigerator punning...I mean, running? Because mine is. Sometimes foods and drinks I put in there will just disappear, and I'll never see them again. I'm baffled. I haven't been able to find the cause. Could you try to find out what's going on?
Ash: Sure. Where is your house?
Man: My house is in the Community Section, to the left of the house of Puns. Let me know if you notice anything!" The man says.
As they go into his house, they find the refrigerator is orange in color with purple outlines.
Ash: Wait for a second...is this really a refrigerator?
Lillie: I know what you mean. (The eyes of the refrigerator are now open) That is definitely a Rotom.
After getting back, they tell the man.
Man: My refrigerator was a Rotom all along? I never knew! That's so cool! (Ash and Lillie are surprised at his actions) I'm just kidding. I did this all for the refrigerator pun. I'll go back home before the Overseer chew me out.
After he leaves, they decide to help another one.
Man: My friend asked me to come here. He wants to know if anyone would be willing to battle him. He's too shy to ask someone on his own. He normally hangs out near the lighthouse at the Community Section.
As they go there, they find a boy who is nervous.
Boy: Hi.
Ash: Are you the one that has a friend asking a battle with you?
Boy: Oh, you got my friend's message? Let's battle then!
He is using Liepard, Forretress, and Ferrothorn to battle, but in the end, Ash manages to defeat him with ease.
Boy: That was fun! (Recalls Ferrothorn) Thanks for battling me. I'm a little scared to ask anyone to battle because they might say no.
Ash: It's fine, I'm sure there are also some people who like to battle as well. Just don't give up.
Boy: Why don't you go tell my friend you battled me? I'm sure he'll be happy to know.
After that's done, they also go back to the Help Section and inform the man.
Man: Thanks for battling my friend! He was looking for others to battle besides just me. You can have this!
He gives them a Mega Stone, much to their surprise.
Ash: That's an Ampharosite...we can use it with our Ampharos.
Lillie: Yeah! Thank you so much. (Takes the stone)
Man: No problem. I found it in the lighthouse one day. (Leaves)
They find that there is only one person left, so they decide to finish it once and for all.
Woman: So, today It's my job to water the plants in Ceilum Park. But to be honest...I don't want to miss the tournament, and I know after I see it, my excitement levels will be off the charts and I'll need a nap! Would you mind doing it for me? You'll need a Wailmer Pail. You can buy them from the Shopping Section for 3 Heart Scales. The plants you need to water are in square containers. Come see me when you've watered them all.
They sigh as they go to the Market Area, and they are surprised to see a lot of things on sale, especially Mega Stones, there are for Alakazam, Camerupt, Gardevoir, Lucario, Manectric, Pinsir, Houndoom, Salamence, Sharpedo, Tyranitar, Hatterene, Grimmsnarl, and Machamp, so they use the Heart Scales to buy each of them. They also find some stands selling TMs, Orbs, Gems, and even an Item Finder, a Wailmer Pail, and a Marble. They purchase each of them before leaving the area.
After getting back to the Meeting Spot, Emily finds Delicia, who just finished eating Chocolate Eclairs, and Crolea, who is patiently waiting for them.
Emily: It looks like we're all here!
Crolea: Let's go to the park, then!
Delicia: :)
Then the six of them are heading into Celium Park, trying to see what they can find there.
