Chapter 67 Celium Park
As they get into Celium Park, which is to the north of the Sea Star Society, they see a lot of Manaphy and Phione there.
Ash: Manaphy and Phione...it reminds me a lot about the first time I met them.
Lillie: You have met them before?
Ash: In a place known as Samiya. It treats May as her mama. And it sure has been a long time come to think of it.
Just then, they see a blue-haired girl with a fruity costume is capturing one of them. ".o." Delicia shows her face.
Emily: Wow, you caught a Phione!
Crolea: I've heard you need to get permission from Ivan to catch Manaphy and Phione!
Blueberry: Oh, Delicia, Ash, Lillie, Gladion, Emily, and Crolea!
Gladion: (Surprised) How do you...
Crolea: ...know our names?
Blueberry: Oh, right! I forgot to introduce myself! I'm Blueberry! There are seven of us with fruit-based codenames, and we've been having Ash and Lillie battle us! Ash and Lillie have beaten all of us except myself and Strawberry! And Delicia is personal friends with us!
Ash: Emily, you remember the person in front of Wendy's gym, right? That was Grape, she is also one of their members. She was waiting there to battle either I or Lillie.
Emily: Oh! I do remember her! I thought she was just an employee for Silk Studio.
Blueberry: I've been hanging out here waiting for Ash and Lillie! I did get permission from Ivan to catch a Phione, since Ivan knows about us. Manaphy and Phione have lived here since before the Sea Stars settled here, which is why they're treated so highly! It's at the request of the Sea Stars that they're classified as legendary Pokemon!
Emily: Oh yeah! I remember reading about that!
Blueberry: This will be Nitori's first battle! If everyone's ready, then let's get started!
Lillie: I guess it is my turn to battle, considering that Ash is the last one to battle the fifth one.
Blueberry: My first Pokemon is Matenshi!
Her first Pokemon is Altaria named Matenshi, and Lillie goes for Eiscue to battle. Eiscue has the ability Ice Face, which manages to take the hit from the Sky Attack. After getting into Noice Face, it uses Ice Beam on Altaria, which uses Cotton Guard to raise the Defense. It also goes for Dragon Dance to boost the Attack and Speed, and it goes for Dragon Breath, paralyzing Eiscue. But in the end, Eiscue defeats the Pokemon with Icy Wind.
Blueberry: Ice Type is not good for Matenshi...then I'll go with Serian!
The next Pokemon is Azumarill named Serian, and it uses Rollout to knock out Eiscue, much to Lillie's surprise. She sends out Toxtricity instead to battle. Toxtricity uses Poison Jab to make the Pokemon Poisoned, but it has been taking Aqua Tail and it takes a lot of damage. But in the end, Azumarill is defeated with the Overdrive, which is also super effective against a Water Type Pokemon like Azumarill.
Blueberry: Sakuya! You're next! (Sends out Jumpluff)
Emily: I think I know how she nicknamed her Pokemon.
Ash: (Groans a little) Uh oh...(Knowing that Emily is such a fangirl in all kinds of weird stuff)
Crolea: What do you mean?
Emily: Matenshi, Serian, and Sakuya...they are characters in the Touhou Project!
Gladion: Okay, thank you for answering us. But we didn't know what is Touhou Project...
Emily: The Touhou Project is set in Gensokyo, a land sealed from the outside world and primarily inhabited by humans and yōkai, legendary creatures from Kantonian folklore that are personified in Touhou as bishōjo in an anthropomorphic moe style. Reimu Hakurei, the miko of the Hakurei Shrine and the main character of the series, is often tasked with resolving supernatural "incidents" caused in and around Gensokyo.
Crolea: I am not sure what you are talking about, but then again, you two are from Kanto.
As for the Jumpluff, Lillie sends out Snowy to battle, and with the Hail and the Aurora Veil, it manages to raise the defense, but Jumpluff goes for Leech Seed to get Snowy' HP, but in the end, it is defeated by the Ice Beam.
Blueberry: Cirno! I need you to revenge my other Pokemon!
The fourth Pokemon is Glaceon named Cirno, and Lillie sends out Incineroar to battle. Incineroar uses Darkest Lariat to give some damage to the Glaceon, and then it goes for Flamethrower. It is a good thing that Mirror Coat has no use against Dark Type, so that the Glaceon is defeated by another Flamethrower from the Alolan Starter Pokemon.
The fifth Pokemon is Swoobat named Koakuma, and it uses Air Slash to knock out Incineroar, so Lillie sends out Rotom to battle. Rotom is using Discharge at the Pokemon, and Swoobat is raising its Special Defense by using Amnesia and Calm Mind. But in the end, Rotom uses Shadow Ball to knock out Swoobat.
Blueberry: It seems like I'm down to my last Pokemon. Nitori!
The last Pokemon is Phione, which worries Lillie a lot.
Lillie: (Mutters) So a Phione...
Lillie sends out Toxtricity to battle, but Nitori's Surf strengthened by Rain Dance manages to defeat the Electric Type Pokemon. Lillie sends out Decidueye as her final Pokemon, it goes for Leaf Blade on the Water Type Pokemon, and in the end, it uses Spirit Shackle to knock out Phione.
Blueberry: Sorry that your first battle was a loss, Nitori. You still did amazingly, though! (Takes out an Oran Berry to her Phione) Only Strawberry's left! You're so close! I think she said she couldn't wait for you since she had something important to do, but maybe you'll run into her anyway! I'm going to go for a walk with Nitori so we can get to know each other more! See you later!
Delicia waves goodbye to her as she leaves, leaving the group alone again.
Emily: That all seems kind of neat, but I'm wondering what the purpose of battling you two is for. I know it is normal to want to battle good trainers, but this seems like some kind of test too.
Crolea: (Turns to Delicia) Delicia, would you know anything about this? You are friends with them after all.
Delicia: ^~^
Crolea: (Sighs) I guess it's just for Ash and Lillie to find out then.
Ash: (Seeing Delicia nods and sighs) Just great...but she is right, we each have battled three of them, which means that really is only one left.
Gladion: Should we go to the Sea Star Shrine then?
Crolea: Ready when you are!
Ash: You guys go first, we want to explore this place first.
After they leave, they decide to explore the place as they find Dentist Drew and the same white-skinned person in front of a Snorlax who is eating a bunch of chocolate eclairs.
Dentist: We did it!
Guardian: Ash! Lillie! We did it! We summoned the Pillsbury Dough Boy!
Dentist: I bought all the donuts from Duncan Donut's to do it.
Lillie: (Mutters) So you are the ones that take all the donuts? No wonder we have to hear Delicia's loud Hyper Voice...
Guardian: It seems like he really likes the donuts. Maybe we could also provide some entertainment along with the donuts?
Dentist: I know! How about a battle, Ash? Lillie?
He is using the same team, but much stronger. Beedrill is still the same as it uses Toxic Spikes to make their switching Pokemon poisoned. Excadrill is using Earthquake instead of Drill Run, Seaking is using Waterfall instead of Water Pulse, Galarian Rapidash is using Play Rough to deal more damage to their Bisharp, Escavalier is using Assurance to even hurt Fire Types, and Rhyhorn is now fully evolved into Rhyperior, but they are still defeated by Ash and Lillie working together.
Dentist: Looks like I owe you donuts even more now. (Recalls Rhyperior)
Guardian: Snorlax was so entertained by the battle it wants to go with you.
Ash and Lillie groan a little as they already have a Snorlax, looks like they are going to have another heavy eater in the party.
Guardian: You sure do know how to draw others to you! Ash! Lillie!
Dentist: Sorry about the continued donut teasing! I'll get some for you eventually...without eating them! Although as I said, I kinda brought everything up at Duncan's Donuts, so that might be a while.
Guardian: I'm sure they'll get some more soon! Anyways, I'll be off now."
Dentist: I'll be back to work soon, see you later.
Lillie: (After seeing both people leaving) Now I remember where I have heard of her! She is the Guardian! The one that Pandora mentioned to guard the Data Vault...
Ash: No wonder she knows who we are... But I guess we will be meeting again soon.
Then they decide to do another quest, which is watering the plants, and after watering all 44 of the plants, they return to the help section and tell the girl about it.
Girl: Wow, you really watered all the plants? You're awesome! As thanks, here's something I found when I was watering them once.
And they get a marble in the end, and they are not surprised.
Lillie: That's all the work. Now let's head back.
As they head back to the park, they find that a Snivy is looking at the plants in awe, and after noticing Ash and Lillie, it decides to join them.
Ash: Another Starter Pokemon with a strange way to capture...
Lillie: Now I think the only ones that we haven't encountered are Bulbasaur, Charmander, Totodile, and Turtwig.
They decide to train their Snivy by battling the Pokemon in the area, which are Floette, Florges, Jumpluff, Poliwag, Poliwhirl, Politoed, Poliwrath, and Drampa. They decide to capture a Drampa in the end.
Then they go to Destiny Pond, and they find an odd-colored Starmie.
Valentine Starmie: Hi, Ash and Lillie! I'm one of Isabelle's Holiday Pokemon. I represent Valentine's Day! Have you met any other Holiday Pokemon?
Ash: Another one of Isabelle's Holiday Pokemon...that makes three.
Valentine Starmie: Okay, then that means I don't need to explain how this process works! Some Holiday Pokemon will only let you into their area if you're them, and some have obstacles that prevent you from entering if you're not them. I'm not like that, though! I do want to battle you, but once that's finished, you can enter my area whether you're you or me!
Lillie: Thank goodness.
They battle the Starmie just like how they battle the Slowking, and in the end, they manage to defeat it.
Valentine Starmie: I love your battling style! I can see why Isabelle is interested in you! I'll turn you into me now! If you want to become yourself again, just let me know!
As they enter the cave, they find a lot of simulations inside, and they find out that the cave is called Cave of Compliments.
Lillie: Maybe we should hear everyone's compliments?
Ash: I wonder what will happen if we do that. (Talks to all 9 people)
Simulation 1: Your generosity is priceless!
Simulation 2: I want to be like you when I grow up!
Simulation 3: You have a Sweet Scent!
Simulation 4: You have excellent taste in food!
Simulation 5: You're supernatural, super natural, and soup or natural all at once!
Simulation 6: Even Champions would be impressed by your strength!
Simulation 7: You're stunning like Raikou, fierce like Entei, and majestic like Suicune!
Simulation 8: The most magical part of the cave is you!
Simulation 9: You're so dazzling, no one could or would want to hide from you!
After hearing all the simulations' compliments, the cave is filled with positive energy. And they find a Turtwig, who wants to join Lillie's team, and Lillie agrees to capture the Pokemon in the end.
Ash: So that's all we have to do.
Lillie: And that's another Starter.
They decide to train Turtwig and evolve into a Torterra with the Pokemon at the Destiny Pond, which are Milotic, Horsea, Seadra, and Lapras.
Here is a new chapter, and in this chapter, they are now at Celium Park and battle the sixth member of the fruit squad. They also meet Dentist Drew again and another Holiday Pokemon. I hope you like this chapter and the next chapter will be a speech.
