Disclaimer: I do not own Revali or Link or any of the Zelda characters nor do I profit from these stories. They are just for Funzo.

Warriors of a Feather, Stick Together

Prologue: Before the Calamity

Link frowned, he couldn't believe how much of an ass Revali was and not to mention how much the other just loved showing off. Honestly, he wasn't even sure why they were there to begin with but for some reason the Princess dragged him back here. He was currently sitting in the inn and drinking, it was honestly the best option to try and forget about the arrogant ass. Of course it was too much to hope for some respite, he half expected the rito to show up any minute now.

"Hmm, so you are hiding here," the familiar voice, didn't even deserve his notice. He did offer a brief glance as the rito sat beside him. "Innkeep, the usual." This caused Link some surprise as he looked over at the other male. He wasn't aware that Revali actually drank anything, the rito offered a haughty glance and a brief grin. "How about a drinking challenge, knight?"

"You're on," Link replied, eager to see if this rito warrior could hold his liquor. Maybe the amount of alcohol in his system, made him a bit too eager however. He wasn't even sure how many he could hold at this point. Still he managed to match Revali shot for shot for at least four rounds. He was on his fifth round when he realized, he was at his limit and the world began to spin a bit. He shook his head and placed his hand over his glass signaling he was done.

"Ho, done.. done already?" Revali asked, clearly the rounds had gotten to him as well. Link grinned stupidly but nodded. "Ha, I win this one, knight.. You.. hic.. you lose." Link sighed, of course he would gloat about this too. "You know, in rito culture we males have to be able to impress.. hic.. our future mates." Link looked over in surprise, he didn't know that. "In most instances we have to be.. we have to be better in every way. Strong, fast and agile. Some rito are.. are impressed with shiny things, like stones and.. and pretty jewels. Some are.. impressed with a fine nest, well constructed."

"Why are you suddenly telling me this?" Link asked, heat filling his face as he looked at the intense gaze of the warrior. Revali stood and trapped Link against the bar. "R-Revali?"

"What impresses you?" Revali suddenly asked. Link couldn't help his confusion but he really began to think about it. Honestly Revali impressed him greatly, he was even maybe a bit envious of the male and his ability to fly.

"You," Link whispered. Revali suddenly grabbed his hand and pulled him into a nearby room, then tossed him onto the pillow nest. "Revali?" The rito didn't say anything just stood there a moment before moving forward and pressing himself between Link's legs. He could feel the hard length against his own hardening member.

"Mate with me," Revali said suddenly. He felt shocked by what he had heard, had he heard it? "Please, mate with me."

Link woke suddenly, he couldn't believe that he had actually mated with Revali. He wished he could erase the whole event from his mind but that would be impossible, maybe he could just pretend it never happened. He sat up in the pillow nest and realized that Revali must have recovered before him. He sighed as he looked around for his belongings, he found them on a nearby chair and dreaded the next part. Link groaned and held back whimpers as he stood up, he was sore as though he had been training all night. No, that wasn't right, training all night wouldn't make it sore there anyway. He pulled on his trousers with difficulty and pulled on his tunic, then his boots and jacket.

Link gathered up his sword and the rest of his belongings before making his way out to the main area of the inn.

"..Listen just keep quiet about it," that voice was all too familiar and not one he wanted to hear right this moment. Link didn't even want to know who the rito warrior was talking to, he just wanted to get out of there before the male spotted him. He was halfway to the exit when Revali spoke to him. "Link," the warrior called. Link jolted to a halt and turned to see the warrior was nearly directly behind him, did Revali spot him earlier and follow him? And since when did the rito use his name? "Listen about yesterday.." Link opted for a confused look, even though he knew what the other male spoke of. "Do you.. Do you remember yesterday at all?" He shook his head, desperately wanting the conversation to be over with and placed his hand on his head. "Oh.. well then.. forget I even asked, it's nothing important."

Link watched as the rito warrior left the inn and shot into the sky, faster than he had ever seen the rito move before. He let out a breath and decided it was best to be on his way, it was already late morning and the Princess would probably be wondering where he went. Not to mention he didn't want her leaving without him, like she sometimes did, with a sigh he trudged out to look for her.

*intercept's* Hey guys, this is a.. wow.. I think this is either longer or shorter than some of my other prologues.. Hope you guys liked the little bit of insight and how this story turns out cause, I like writing about this kind of twisted-reality-multi-verse, Time-split stuff it's fun to write about tbh. Anyway it's gunna be a wacky ride so hang on tight, buckle up your seat belt, drop the drop bar and enjoy the ride! Also see you all in the next chappie!
