Warriors of a Feather, Stick Together

Morning After

=~;~=

Link woke to the brilliant sun shining through the curtained room and the sound of laughter. He rolled over to find Revali still in bed, he smiled remembering when the other had come to see Sidon's new technique. It was so adorable, of course after showing off twice the little zora prince was pretty tired and Mipha had taken him back to the domain so that he could rest. Link snuggled into those warm, soft feathers as he recalled how Revali and he had had a bit of a gliding contest, of course the rito warrior won but surprisingly didn't gloat about it. Revali really had changed and he was really glad for it too, no more would he have to hear how much better the other male was than him. Link already knew that Revali was the better aerial fighter but he still felt he could beat just about anything with his sword, if he really had to. Of course there were a lot of injuries that could have been prevented, if Revali had fought by his side. Together they would be unstoppable on the battle field, at least that is what Link believed.

"We make a great team." Those remembered words, tugged at his heart and made it beat just a little bit faster. He rest his head over Revali's heart and listened to it beating rhythmically, the rito was definitely asleep. The slow even breaths, even his heartbeat was slow, Link wasn't really sure why but he kept listening. Link ran his hand's over the other's plumage, his hand sunk in near near his face and then he felt something odd. He lifted his head up peered carefully, he could just barely make them out but there were five of them. He carefully felt around under the feather's and found one of them again, it felt like a scar. He was familiar with scars himself but he had never seen the rito even get a single scratch in battle. Not even so much as a singed feather, yet here there was a scar.

He made a small sound when Revali suddenly pulled him close, he sighed and placed his head on the warrior's chest. The other's heart was now beating wildly, he must have woken the other male with his exploration.

"What happened?" Link asked, stroking the scar lightly.

"It's a bit of a tale," Revali said, softly. "As you know I don't make mistakes in battle, and these scars are not the product of one. No, these came from the days when I was learning how to use the gale to my advantage. My first try, I was thrown into the pillar at the flight range, I managed to catch myself before I slammed head on into the cliff. Second time I threw myself into the snow, it was quite embarrassing but no injuries." Revali sat up and turned his back to Link. "The third time." He lifted his feather's near the base of his neck showing him a star shaped scar there. "I was impaled by a very sharp rock, thankfully it was shallow and there were no other serious injuries. I didn't give up, however, I knew that if I could master the Gale, then I could master the skies. The next two tries I was still tossed but with some quick thinking and some fancy wing-work, I avoided the ground. The sixth time I was perfect, I had mastered my own skill, well mostly. Still it was a great accomplishment."

Link ran his hand along Revali's back and the other male turned to him. He sat up then and pulled Revali close, kissing the top of his beak. He giggled a bit when the rito preened him, he wasn't precisely sure why Revali did it but it felt nice. It did tickle a little though but he wouldn't tell Revali that. He was amazed at how gentle the other male was with him, he knew he wasn't made of porcelain but it was thoughtful. He ran his fingers and hands over Revali's feathers, he just loved the feeling, he couldn't get over how soft they were.

"I can't tell you how good that feels," Revali whispered, pulling Link onto his lap. Link went willingly, straddling the other male and enjoying the feeling of the other's feather's against his skin. Even his member peeked up with interest and then he felt Revali's erection against the back of his thigh. Suddenly it was all he could think about, he wanted it, wanted to feel it inside of him.

"Then show me," Link whispered back. Revali grinned mischievously and began to preen him, he giggled a bit. "Not like that," he complained.

"Oh then you must mean like this," Revali said, as he slid his member inside of Link. He moaned softly against the other male's feathers.

"Yes," he gasped. The shape filled and stretched him, hitting all the right spots as it slid within. Link was well aware that only a curtain separated them, from the people just outside and yet he found it to be quite difficult to keep quiet. He buried his face in Revali's shoulder, to muffle the sounds he was making. He felt the rito chuckling a bit and then doubled his efforts, he half wondered if Revali wanted the whole world to hear. Link gasped and moaned as the pace quickened, he was glad for it and at the same time regretting it, as voices spoke just outside their curtained room. He grunted as the ecstasy peaked throwing him over the edge and into that sweet bliss. Link jumped in surprise when Revali suddenly covered them both in the sheet, he had long abandoned. Then he realized two major things, one Revali had also climaxed and two they had company.

"Link!" Sidon's voice called suddenly, as the curtain was thrust wide open. He ducked his face into Revali's feather's, he was so embarrassed. "What you two doing?" Link felt like he could die of embarrassment.

"We were hugging," Revali said, he was so glad that the other male sounded very sure of his answer.

"Why are you hugging?" Sidon asked.

"Because he loves my feathers," Revali replied. "Or at least that's what he says, right?" He wanted to be left out of the conversation but Revali just had to include him.

"Y-yeah," Link mumbled.

"Are they really soft?" Sidon asked.

"Y-yes," Link answered.

"I wanna.." Sidon began.

"Sidon, w-why don't you go and play for a bit?" Mipha suddenly chimed in. Link was both relieved and mortified at the same time.

"But Mipha.." Sidon argued.

"Go on, Link and Revali will catch up with you later, I promise," she said, gently.

"Okay," Sidon sounded really disappointed but the sound of tiny footsteps running off into the distance, could be heard.

"You two didn't tell him what you were actually doing, did you?" Mipha asked, her tone dangerously low.

"No," Revali answered.

"Good, then you can spend the day with him as punishment," Mipha replied, sweetly.

"O-of course," Revali answered. Link could only imagine the scary look that Mipha probably had. After all, he hadn't known Revali to tremble about anything, not even when they faced that Black Hinox or the guardians for that matter. He heard the curtain being swept closed before he finally pulled away to look at Revali, the other had his eyes closed.

"That could have been worse," Link said.

"How?" Revali asked.

"Sidon could have discovered what were actually up to," Link pointed out.

"True, that would have been worse," Revali admitted. "Shall we get ready and go then?" Link nodded and carefully got up from the bed, he stretched popping a few vertebrae in his spine as he did so. He then grabbed out a towel from his pack and cleaned himself, while pulling out a second and offering it to Revali. When he looked however the other male was already clean and getting dressed. He put the cloth back and frowned before looking at Revali again, how did he? Link shook his head and found something nice to wear, he put on a good tunic and pant's before pulling on his boots. He then followed Revali out, whom had waited quite patiently for him to finish.

"Sidon went up to Vah Ruta," Mipha mentioned. Link couldn't help the heat that went straight to his ears and face as he passed by with a nod. He was not going to live this one down, zora have very, very long memories. When they reached the base of the stairs, Revali looked back at him with a grin before summoning his gale and flying up. Link grinned and he grabbed out his para-sail to use the updraft to catch up to Revali, whom used another gale in midair when he finally caught up. The updraft pushed him all the way to the top of the stairs, he guided the para-sail toward the dock and soon landed on it with Revali right beside him. Mipha was definitely going to be irritated at them but it was worth it, just for the fun of it. He hugged Revali and then made his way to the end of the dock, Sidon was swimming a lot faster than he used to. At least until he noticed them, the tiny zora prince made a beeline for them and stopped just shy of the dock and reached up. Before the prince could attempt to climb up, Link grabbed one arm while Revali grabbed the other and pulled him onto the dock.

"You caught up," Sidon said, excitedly.

"Of course we did," Link replied, patting Sidon's head tail gently. Sidon grinned and giggled. "Is it ticklish?"

"Haha yes," Sidon answered. He grabbed, Link's hand pushed it away, he was still smiling when he turned toward the rito warrior. "Can I touch your feathers?" Link chuckled as Revali's feathers fluffed up at that.

"I.. suppose," Revali consented, Link could tell the other male was flustered again. He watched as Sidon ran his hands down Revali's wing.

"Oh! They are soft, that must be why Link likes to hug you so much!" Sidon said, innocently. "Can I hug you sometimes too? Like this?" He suddenly wrapped his arms around Revali's wing, Revali chuckled a bit at that.

"I suppose, I will allow it," Revali replied.

"Yay!" Sidon cheered. "I wish you both could be family."

"There's no rule that says we can't," Revali suddenly chimed in. "Well honorary family, at least."

"Really?" Sidon asked. "So when I grow up I can make you both family?"

"Well," Revali suddenly seemed as though he had nothing to say to that.

"I don't think that's what he meant Sidon," Mipha's soft voice rang out from behind them. "I'm sorry, I really don't know why he would say these things. Remember what I told you?"

"But I do say what I mean," Sidon said. "I really do want Link to be family, it would just feel right." Link wasn't really certain what Sidon meant by that. "I.. can't really explain it but.. I have these memories sometimes."

"Memories?" Link asked. He thought he heard the same question from both Revali and Mipha though as well.

"Yeah, they happen in my dreams," Sidon explained. "Me and Link were a family and had a child, she was so cute." Mipha glared at him suddenly, then looked at Sidon and smiled.

"Are you sure you dreamt this?" she asked.

"Yes, Mipha she looked a lot like you, except she looked like Link too but Link said she had my eyes," Sidon explained. Link hadn't told anyone about the little girl, he hadn't said a single word.

"You didn't tell him this did you?" Mipha asked. "Was that really what she looked like?" Link nodded amazed that little Sidon would be having those dreams.

"Maybe he is having these dreams because he came back from the future?" Revali asked. "Maybe it was a regret?"

"Can't be," Little Sidon said, with conviction. "Our child was walking alongside us and talking, well not talking yet, she was trying to talk and.."

"Wait walking?" Link asked. "That's not possible, Sidon said she was only a.. only just hatched." He looked around at the other two and their surprise at his words.

"Could this mean..?" Revali began to ask.

"That we're in a..?" Mipha continued. They all looked at each other, there was no way right? An alternate timeline just sounded too crazy, there was no way they were in an alternate timeline. He didn't want to even think it let alone voice it, it was just too crazy.

"In the dream I called it an alternate timeline, cause I saved my big sister!" Sidon said, helpfully. Link hung his head, of course tiny Sidon would say it, of course he would. He looked up to see Sidon grinning, he was so happy about the revelation that he didn't even think twice about what the dream meant.

"I guess this means, he didn't have to regret coming back after all," Link replied. "He did save Mipha and he went back home to well alternate me? And their daughter."

"You're right, he did seem sad about going back, though," Mipha said. "But now he can have no regrets." Link nodded.

"Regrets for what?" Tiny Sidon asked. They shared a little laugh at that, poor sweet, innocent Sidon.

*intercept's* Hey guys how do you like our sweet little cinnamon roll, Sidon, in this chapter. He so sweet and innocent, I just wanna pinch his little cheeks, poor little thing. Don't ask me what possessed me to get so wholesome this chappie, cause I got no idea. Maybe it was the cinnamon roll energy from this mornings actual cinnamon roll, I dunno. Anyway it starts out in a very nice, hott way and quickly goes horribly wrong. You can bet those two won't be doing that again or so we hope. Hopefully Mipha can keep her little brother outta trouble in them future chappies. Yes I know chappie is not short for chapter but it's cuter! I think anyway, kinda like Purah loves saying SNAP! I like saying chappie! Hehe welp.. I'll see you all in the next one! Stay tuned for fun and possibly some very interesting developments.
