Disclaimer: I do not own Revali or Link or any of the Zelda characters nor do I profit from these stories. They are just for Funzo.

A/N: Definitely a chappie guys this is the final decision and a nod to the late Corruption of Champions game. I can still play the game on mobile but can no longer play on PC very sad! I guess mobile version for android does not rely on Flash. You will not see the nod til later chapters guys but it's coming!

Warriors of a Feather, Stick Together

Fairy Fountain Fun

=~;~=

Revali flew fast over the Tabantha Frontier, he was looking for the plateau had the been marked by a star and perhaps the Fairy Fountain itself. He had no idea what he was looking for or even if it would stand out against the landscape. He fluttered to a near halt midair, as he spotted a lake on a plateau but that wasn't the most surprising part. Flitting about the plateau were tiny balls of light with wings, were those fairies? There was also a giant green bud that looked closed, he decided to get a closer look. The fairies scattered as he landed, probably out of fear. He approached the closed bulb and was surprised to see a hand pop out, then she spoke.

"Please, if you have five-hundred rupees it will restore my strength," her voice was melodic and a little sad.

"What made you lose power?" he asked curiously, as he looked through his pouch. He had literally just enough but he wanted to know, before just handing them off.

"People stopped coming by to visit, they used to come for wishes in exchange for rupees," She answered. "The rupees provided me with a stable power generation but when they stopped coming, my power waned. I had no choice but to close my bud and retain my remaining energy." He wasn't sure why but it made a little sense. His people, if they had been coming here in secret, would have stopped when the monsters showed up. They may have forgotten due to the lifespan of his people, he would have to spread tales of the great fairy then once he restored her that is. He gave her the five-hundred rupees and backed away amazed as the flower opened and she burst free of it. She was larger than any other race, she had a similar look to the hylians only on a larger scale. "Oh thank you so much! How can I repay you?" She seemed deep in thought, Revali wasn't going to let her come up with something on her own though, no he had to know if she could do it.

"I need some information," Revali piped up. She looked at him curiously as he continued, "I need to know if it is possible for you to gift me and my partner with the ability to bear young."

"Oh my, is she struggling to conceive?" She asked, she had a concerned look on her face.

"He and I would not normally be able to conceive, no," Revali responded, he watched as her face changed from concern to a benign smile.

"Oh, how sweet!" She said, it was clear she was not opposed but something in her tone worried him. "I would absolutely love to help you but without my other sisters being restored, I fear there just won't be enough fairy power in the world for me to do that."

"How many sisters do you have?" Revali asked.

"There are four of us, currently only two of us have any power, though I fear my other sister may run dry very soon as well," she replied, worriedly. He frowned at that, if she did run out of power then that would mean she would need reviving as well. He would have to act fast then, there wasn't any time to waste after all.

"Where can I find them all?" Revali asked, she looked very excited then.

"You will help them?" She asked. He nodded and waited for her to calm down, her excitement was palpable. "Mm okay, first I have to warn you, my other sleeping sisters have more power than I and will require a lot more to be revived. Unfortunately, I do not know how much more but I do know how you can obtain more rupees. Anytime you see the small glowing blupees and can hit them, they will drop a lot of rupees before they disappear. I don't know where they come from but they are handy right?" He nodded. "Okay, now I shall tell you. My strongest sister is deep in the desert, past the storms of sand, beneath a great foe. My weaker sister lives near a village of some kind, all of the people there have beautiful white hair. And my final sister lives far, far to the west in a forest near a lake, the lake is very unique for it has a land bridge to a giant pillar of rock that stands tall out of the waters."

"You only mentioned three," Revali said. "What of the fourth?"

"Our fourth sister is a little odd," she replied. "I also feel that she is not in any need of revival, she well.. she revives horses and lives to the south of some stable or other."

"I see. You said your weakest sister lives near a village, with people who have white hair?" Revali asked. She nodded vigorously, she looked quite pleased with her descriptions. "That must be near Kakariko Village, where Impa is from, she had white hair. Let's see the one far, far to the west. I've seen a lake with a giant pillar, it was indeed attached to a land bridge. But the one in the desert, I suppose I will have to ask where the sandstorm is most prominent, maybe the Sheikah Slate could give more insight as well. Thank you for this, I will remind my people of you and help your sisters. I will also remind Impa of your sisters as well and with the help of Princess Zelda, we can then spread tales of you and your sisters across the land. Surely people will come to visit once again, now that monsters have stopped plaguing the world."

"Oh, monsters? The calamity then?" she said, she then nodded. "That must be why people stopped coming, it must have been much too dangerous! Thank you for this and thank you for helping us."

"Of course," He said, he was uncertain exactly what to say in this situation. He was flustered at her gratitude and he was sure his feather's showed it. "I should go then." He wanted to smack himself but instead just shot back into the sky, flying off. Once he returned to the village, he told everyone who would listen about the great fairy fountain before locating his mate.

"Did you..?" he began to ask.

"I found it, but there is a bit of a problem," he said, almost immediately. He explained the Great Fairy's issue and why she wouldn't be able to help them, meanwhile his mate only nodded along. He then explained that he planned to help her, then they could go and talk with her together.

"That's a great idea!" Link replied. "Oh I can still get to the castle, I can tell Impa about their great fairies plight if she is there. As for the other two.. I could go to Urbosa and see if she knows anything about that Great Fairy. The last one might require you though, you would be the most likely to be able to find it. But I can probably bring you along with me, the towers are still active and it might be our best bet, to getting close enough to the one that's far west of here." Revali hadn't even thought of that, but it definitely made sense.

"Then we will go together, I want to visit Princess Zelda as well," Revali said, suddenly. "She could help send out the news of these great fairies faster than we could ourselves."

"You're right," Link replied, with a nod. "It's settled then, I'll go get ready, this will give me a perfect opportunity to use the para-sail again!" Revali sighed and grinned as his mate excitedly went off to pack what he would need. He, on the other wing, only needed a few essentials. Revali went to restock his ammunition and grab some dried foods for the road. He only grabbed them just in case they needed them.

"What did she mean by under a great foe though?" Link asked, once they met back up. He was looking at the map on the sheikah slate, he gasped suddenly and pointed. "There are giant bones there, look!" Revali was looking and was surprised that Link had spotted them that far.

"They are at the very limits of the map, it makes sense why the great fairy is hard to find," Revali mumbled, a bit miffed.

"And if I'm right, Urbosa said there's a constant sandstorm over in that area," Link said, suddenly.

"When did she tell you this?" Revali asked, suspicious.

"When I asked her about the desert behind the city and why they didn't expand farther," Link replied. "She said it was because of the huge sandstorm but I didn't see any sandstorm."

"It could be magical in nature," Revali mentioned. It was the only likely answer for why it wouldn't be visible form the city itself.

"Maybe," Link replied. Link suddenly kissed his beak and his heart began to beat wildly in his chest, he knew it was a sign of affection from hylians but it always made his heart race. Maybe that was why they did the whole kissing thing, Revali was traversing deep into his thoughts when Link's voice snapped him back to reality. "Okay, let's go! To Hyrule Castle!"

Link pressed the teleport and suddenly they were both floating. He didn't even have time to blink and they were suddenly on top of the tower at the castle. Link used the para-sail to glide down, while he flew himself to the ground. Two guards approached them and after explaining their sudden visit, they were led to the audience chamber.

"Link! Revali! To what do I owe the pleasure?" Princess Zelda greeted them warmly. The King was also there, he remained silent as Princess Zelda spoke with them however. Revali explained everything about the Great Fairies plight and the two listened intently to their story.

"I see, I will send out Messenger's at once," King Rhoam said.

"How much will the fairies need to be restored?" Zelda asked quite concerned.

"I am uncertain and the great fairy I spoke with, could not be certain as to how much they might need. What I can tell you is that I paid this particular Great Fairy, a sum of five-hundred rupees," Revali explained.

"Five hundred.." she looked surprised. "I see, father I would like to request to join them." King Rhoam seemed surprised by this but nodded his consent. "May I also take some rupees from the treasury with me? As we do not know the total sum, it may be quite high."

"Very well, I will allow you to take your own personal coffers from the treasury," King Rhoam replied. "I do advise taking your personal guards with you." Zelda curtseyed, Revali was well aware of her immense dislike of traveling, with so many accompanying them. They would not all be able to teleport with them.

"I am sorry father but I will have to disobey you on that front," Zelda replied. "It will be much easier and safer to use the towers to teleport all of us, to the places we need to go. I can take, at best, four of my personal guards if we wish to make good time."

"Very well," King Rhoam relented, looking rather miffed that his own daughter had already devised her own plan for this mission. "I do expect you to use caut.."

"Caution, I know," Princess Zelda replied. "I will come back safely, I promise." She then turned to them. "I will meet with you two at the tower." Revali and Link made their way out at that, Revali couldn't help but admire the princess for standing up to her father. She was a force to be reckoned with, ever since they had defeated the calamity. When Zelda finally arrived, Revali only counted two guards with her.

"Two?" He asked. A series of beeps answered and he finally saw the one nuisance, that he had had to put up with before the calamity. "You.. Uh.. Fine." The creature was obviously making it's point, in it's own unintelligible speech. "And who is the fourth?"

"Link of course, he is well acquianted with the job, after all," Zelda replied. Sneaky princess, he just hoped that she didn't plan to drag him back, after this was all said and done. "Don't worry, I won't make him return to Hyrule, this is just for this trip." Revali relaxed a bit after hearing that, he was going to question where the coffer was, when he spotted the two guards, holding it between them. He grinned a bit before following the princess, it was going to be quite an interesting mission.

*intercept's* Hey guys hope you enjoyed this chappie it was prewritten, so some of it doesn't make any sense. But I tried to clean it up rearrange some text/dialogue and make it less of a jumbled mess. Obviously I failed and am too sick to correct it today.
